When i was a kid, i used to have this COLOBOT game where you literally program robots to do the missions for you. I was a brainlet though and had to use manual controls for them.
This game introduced me into programming. There is a game mode (Programming challenges) where you cannot use manual control. The language used is the CBOT which is imitating the C++. I strongly recommend this game. Colobot gold edition.

Final Fantasy XII and Dragon Age Origins have gameplay elements that could easily be considered a form of programming
Man in DA:O if you properly set up the team logic, you'd stomp absolutely everything. IIRC later games just done away with it. Shame.
