so basically PC players get a patch update and otherwise get fricked on PC entirely, but PS players get the full suite

Played Project Wingman a while back.Got about half way through. Can see how people like it.. had some fun moments. Just never got into the Ace Combat style of flight games. I only ever played sims from the start .. European Air War, early IL-2.. real rogues gallery of fun. Yeah, not a fan of it myself. The PW MK1 is already a necessity in Conquest with the sheer amounts of enemies and distance to cover- the story on Merc is made a lot easier by the PW's disgusting maneuverability but is definitely still possible with the Chimera/F-15 ACTIVE/Su-37/etc.
The later conquest levels are stupid even with PW so if they're bringing this level of chaos to the story then I'm not going to enjoy that. And it's not just the fact the whole screen is just enemies and you can't even see your plane in 3rd person becuse it's covered in the missile warnings, the PW MKI itself is just not fun for me. Handles like crazy and is so fast that everyone else might as well not be moving, plus it has zero weapon customization, you're stuck with railgun and the multi-missiles, both on a long-ass cooldown, so my only strat for those bullet-hell scenarios is to kite everyone until my shit is off cooldown, unload and then run away again.
