>Start playing
>Feels great, looks good, sounds amazing
>Save enough and buy an e46
>Tune and customize it, feelsgoodman
>Announcer sees the car
>"Lmao look at anon, he dropped the dough on a 3 series! It's so expensive to change oil or even adjust a mirror on these things, good luck"
>10/10
Games are way past the peak.
Older games are still fun, and I can't name a single at least 7/10 title since 2015.

my favorite nfs game
for me it was speed races, it was funny just trying to outlive the AI. nevada highway was a bloodbath
Shame about the handling for faster cars.
>tank slapper trap steering
>one of the suspension settings is backwards, like in every Black Box era game onwards
>Nevada highway
>boss racers are garbage compared to the championships leading up to them
>jank car balance
>drifting is mostly shit
All worth it for the fantastic festival setting and the announcers' endless context lines, though.
>specific post race lines for wrecking out or even if your opponents wreck AND what they're driving like the guy with the Ford Cosworth that's a unicorn to try to find parts for
>Buy the AE86
>The announcer notices it
>"Alright, we get it, you've watched Initial D"
I hate the fact that the announcers in all of the racing games that still have them are so soulless
that sounds like bullshit but i believe it
Don't choke on the spoon, it's the first line on the video too
This looks like a mod?
The video itself has an overhaul mod on but the car and those announcer voice lines are in the original game as well
It's this guy talking though https://youtube.com/channel/UCtM04_javFi_9SY_j31yN2A
Not those voice lines.
Kind of embarrassing how you acted like you were spoonfeeding that anon because you thought some shitty e-celebs voice lines were in the original game. Did you even play it, or just watch that guys videos and suddenly decide that it was your favorite NFS game?
this is the "pepega edition" mod, literally says it in the title
nice bait
That announcer is some german gay who cant even pronounce proper english, nice one you clown
sorry anon but you got owned.... may as well harakiri urself now..
if you have an R34 GT-R,the announcer tells about how it's hard to get it on the US
same with the cozzie iirc
>gets announced
>not underground 3 or most wanted 2
>frick this game
>never play series again until like a week ago when nfs heat was $5
>found it extremely boring
>back to ignoring the series' existence
NFS ended with Porsche Unleashed
For me, it’s most wanted 2005. It’s the perfect street racing game. Good mods, too.
Do any NFS autists know which games have similar physics to Hot Pursuit (2010)? I tried to play Rivals as well as Payback and thought they were a little stinky.
The driving physics in Hot Pursuit 2010 you can tell were tailored specifically to the way the tracks are designed and the fact it's practically a car combat game. You won't find any other game drive quite like this.
It's just gimped burnout.
The traction is really cool. Your car weighs like a million pounds. Theres only a few spots in the game you can manage to get any airtime and you can instantly tell its not intended because your car just gets magnetically pulled back to the track instantly. It makes the drifting really really fun.
It drives nothing like Burnout except for snapping into a controllable drift state because Criterion.
Yeah, it's gimped burnout, like I said.
I honestly think the vehicle combat sections are too frequent. You very often hit a point where you're forced to do some if you want to progress and unlock more maps. Also there's way too many cinematics on a new save because you unlock shit too fast and they aren't skippable. Still a kino ass game.
What's the best burnout game on PC?
Pro street is very underrated
>track racing
I sleep
Open worlds were a mistake.
Forza ruined racing games
ProStreet was meh, but Undercover that the game that truly killed the franchise and put the final nail in the coffin for NFS. the franchise STILL hasn't recovered from Undercover.
>posting about prostreet on Ganker for years
>other anons finally join in as well
I can now rest in peace
