>you need to play through unique 99 cent games in your backlog
You don't even like video games, I will stick to my routine of old but still alive once popular games
ED-0 Zombie Uprising
Got it as part of the Humble coomer bundle, ended up playing it instead of Onechanbara or Bullet Girls Phantasia. It's a bit undercooked but that's par for the course with D3 games and the characters are varied enough.
funny. gotten the same feeling. sometimes you get tired of doing complex puzzle boxes and Rubik's cubes and just want to go do a crossword or a jigsaw puzzle or something.

Have you heard of Secrets of Grindea? It appears to borrow some inspiration from Cross Code and even has pretty much the protagonist of Cross Code as a character in the game.
Started going back and playing The Last Remnant recently. Very idiosyncratic JRPG.
Other than that not much, which is pretty depressing considering I've historically played a lot of niche unique shit.
Joke's on you, I don't play video games.

What's crazy is I've played so many unique and obscure games, that slops loop around to being the unique ones to me
