Got it as part of the Humble coomer bundle, ended up playing it instead of Onechanbara or Bullet Girls Phantasia. It's a bit undercooked but that's par for the course with D3 games and the characters are varied enough.
What's crazy is I've played so many unique and obscure games, that slops loop around to being the unique ones to me

Have you heard of Secrets of Grindea? It appears to borrow some inspiration from Cross Code and even has pretty much the protagonist of Cross Code as a character in the game.
