Portal is an easy answer since the game is 40 minute long. there's literally no room for filler.
spoiler. entire game is literally filler...

/thread
Meanwhile portal 2 is a terrible answer because it’s shit.
Portal 1 is actually a pretty decent answer considering its short length.
Portal is boring lol
this post best post. It was something I felt obliged to playthrough but then realized it was just a bad game people praise because valve.
Utterly tasteless
Portal and monki are true though. For me it would be Diablo 2 and THPS234.
Diablo II is the complete opposite of 100% from start to finish.
No it's not. It's a perfect game and the best game of all time.
No, that would be a game D2 inspired, PSO.
what's pso?
Phantasy Star Online i think
Yeah, aka the GOAT game
t. filtered by Duriel
I wish I could agree but the desert in Diablo 2 is so fricking boring to me. It's hard to go from act 1 to act 2
>Diablo 2
FRICK Act 3
I find this funny since despite it’s short length nearly 70% of players didn’t even beat portal 2
Because its boring as frick
Only losers play a puzzle game
Im playing games to have fun and relax
>i have a low iq
bet pic-related gives you chills
It got boring around half way through and Steven Merchant’s lane and whimsical character didn’t help at all. God I’m so glad that trend is over.
Puzzles relax me
How could they possibly make a more relaxing "puzzle game" than Portal 2? Are you braindead?
I relax to relax. I play games to play a game. Playing games to relax is normie tier video game addiction. It's like smoking crack to relax.
That game is just western tripe but puzzles ARE fun, moron.
Literal sub 70 IQ take to say they aren't.
This is the sad state of the market for games in general.
Almost no one beats any of their games.
>not a single zelda game
maybe redditbis secretly based
Redditors are too moronic to beat any older zelda game
Every Zelda game has some portions of it that are a drag. OoT has the water temple, windwaker has the Triforce treasure hunt, etc.
The water temple is piss easy and oot can be beaten in 5 hours if you aren’t a mindless moron
It's not about whether it's easy. The criteria here is a video game that is 100% amazing from start to finish. Having even one mandatory section that isn't good disqualifies it.
>I got filtered by a game for toddlers so it’s bad
Lol
You found the water temple 100% amazing? If so, you might be moronic.
It’s fun, not my fault you are braindead and can’t beat it
It's not hard to figure out, but it's not fun. Even if it could be conceded to be somewhat fun, it's not 100% amazing. You are dumb and probably pedo as well.
>Liberal zoomer projecting his mental illness onto everyone
As always
Ok pedo. I bet you like sniffing feet too.
Weird hill to die on. Post your Switch collection. I know you're the kind of cucked homosexual that buys multiple Switch editions
I hate my switch and regret my purchase, i can't remember the last time i played it since it collects dust
You and me both bud
Don't engage with nintendies, they are manchildren or trannies 100% of the time. Normalhomosexuals remember Mario or even Mario kart, any more than that and you're better off just ending the conversation there if their general appearance wasn't an indication.
>play OOT for the first time
>in water temple
>play that song against that wall which is supposed to change the water level
>water level doesn't change
>huh i guess i wasn't supposed to do that
>spend next hour annoyingly checking every corner of the temple to figure out what to do while annoyingly equipping/unequipping the metal boots
the fire temple and shadow temple were good fun though
The NES Zelda is great start to finish, unless you are a moron who falls for memes about bombing every wall in the overworld.
>hunting for which tree to light on fire
Uh huh. Amazing. 100%.
moron found.
Learn to observe patterns.
Speaking of OoT, is the PC port loaded with qol mods yet?
lol the water temple was easy. now the shadow temple is another story.
literally rent free holyshit
People know that whenever you say this cope you are mad and can't come up with a comeback. Also, they know you are a disgusting troony.
that's not how the word "literally" works
good morning sir!
10/10 start to finish. Even OoT has Jabu and Shadow that are objectively less fun than the rest of the game.
Because every Zelda game has "that section" that detracts from the game and makes it a <10/10.
>Zelda 1
Burn every bush to find Level 7.
>Zelda 2
The entire fricking game until you learn you can attack statues for healing items.
>ALttP
First trip to the Dark World.
>LA
Unlocking Level 4.
>OoT
Castle stealth section. Getting cucked out of your ranged items when you first become adult Link.
>MM
Deku stealth section.
>OoS
Stealth section before Subrosia.
>OoA
Losing all your items on the island.
>WW
Triforce hunt.
>Twilight Princess
I don't even remember because I haven't played it in like 16 years, but I'm pretty sure getting to the first dungeon was a slog.
>Phantom Hourglass
Go back to the same dungeon.
>Spirit Tracks
Go back to the same dungeon.
Pan flute needed precise timing with the crap microphone on the DS.
Overloaded touch control make you unsure what attack you might do.
On (literal) rails section where you can get pacman ghost cucked by bomb trains and sent back to the station you came from minutes ago.
Having to slow down on the rail sections.
>Skyward Sword
Having to pause to recalibrate the motion controls constantly.
>ALBW
No real bad parts, but nothing really great either. Just a solid, by-the-book Zelda
>BotW
Weapon durability.
(Lack of) monster variety.
(Lack of) music.
(Lack of) story.
(Lack of) dungeons.
Twilight Princess has several. Basically every time you had to play as the wolf, for example.
Wolf parts were cool though
>>ALBW
>No real bad parts
Having to rent out sub-weapons.
>Getting cucked out of your ranged items when you first become adult Link.
The thing that always bothered me about OoT is you do Jabu, the third dungeon, and unlock this cool boomerang weapon... And then five minutes later you lose it. And why? Literally nothing about a boomeranger suggests it should be "too small" for an adult.
Princess
Fricking bug hunts as the wolf and mandatory wolf combat
>Skyward Sword
God damn gay ass trials before finding each of the later dungeons, that shit is moronic.
In fact that whole game minus 1 or 2 dungeons is fricking shit
Zelda games invented *THAT* part
the first Red Dead Redemption
Red Dead 2 doesn't qualify because of that godawful Guarma chapter
No cuckstar game is well paced
Mexico bring RD1 down some
They didn’t keep it consistent there
Mexico is the peak of the game
Great game but the ending was godawful. The Mexico chapter was perfectly setup for John to escape there and live out his days like the ol’ gunslinger he meets there. But for some reason he just decides to commit suicide against a wave of basically the same amount of goons you fight throughout the whole game. In the end the Mexico chapter just feels completely disconnected from the rest of the story and the audience gets blue balled for some cheap shock value.
Portal has better pacing than all AAA modern games.
Who would nominate Bioshock on that list with its shitty last 30%?
>Implying normies beat it
I finally beat the first bioshock after stopping over 10 years ago. I really wanted the game over with around the time youre about to kill ryan.

Portal 1 was a good game, very innovative, but I can't imagine selecting it as a favourite unless you've only played a handful of vidya in your lifetime. Portal 2 just dragged on too long.

Only ones I'd really argue with are Bioshock and Vice City. VC is my favorite of the PS2-era GTAs but it has dead space, especially with the lame business missions and the grinding to unlock them near the end. Bioshock 1 is outright boring once you've played it before. Without the narrative to draw you in it's a really junky corridor shooter that happened to hit a point where console FPSes hit the absolute bottom in terms of brainlessness, so anything even resembling creativity was celebrated. 2 I would understand - it's a fantastic game in it's own right, and it's story isn't hackneyed and browbeating on replays like the first.
Onimusha. Felt like Samurai Resident Evil.
Timed underwater sliding puzzle filters everyone.
This one was pretty okay for a block sliding puzzle. The one in RE4 during Ashley's section was worse, and that one wasn't even timed.

Flower Fields is the best chapter and I'm tired of pretending it's not.
Fallout 1 is a perfectly paced game.
Except for its slow, slow walking pace. Realistic or no, it drove me crazy. This said it is possible I wasn't emulating it well and it should have run on more cycles.

Is titanfall 2 really that good?
I really have a hard time wrapping my head around that
No, it's really average, but redditors love it becaus they think it's underrated
i had fun in the single player but people exaggerate just how good it is.
I guess in the "tacked on single player campaign in a Mp centric game" it's one of the better ones.

It was a great ride all the way through. Don't let the contrarians take away B movie fun from you
titanfall 2's campaign felt like it took everything I liked about the COD campaigns I liked, and turned it up to 11.
Yes, the campaign is short but it feels like a great action movie you play
It's 6 hours of ridiculously fun sequences you zoom around through. My only complaint is you only get to use the stealth camo in the singleplayer, whereas you have several other options in multi you should've been able to try.
It's the best cod campaign. That's it. Nothing amazingh but you're in the mood for cod that's your best bet.

Final Fantasy Tactics.
Sure, you could get soft-locked out of a save file, but I cannot think of a game with more depth and flavor. It had great progression from start to mid-end game, a great rise from shithead squire to renegade knight, but it had a nasty habit of chain-battling you for like 4-6 fights on certain zones. You take the good and the bad, FFT is a solid 5/7.

You answered your own question
The issue with top ten polls is that either these people are electing 3-10 choices, of which all votes have an equal vote which is moronic because if 100 people agree a game is in 10th but not number 1 while nothing else is consistent the the 10th choice will be #1.
The other issue, if everyone gets a vote, then the top like 5 are going to be literally thousands of votes ahead of the rest because that's how these flavor tests always work.
>100% Amazing from start to finish
>Bioshock
I thought everyone agreed the final part of the game was pretty trash compared to the rest.
Came here to say this
Everyone praises Bioshock 1 for the Andrew Ryan twist and conveniently forgets the last hour where Fontaine keeps calling you boyo on the radio saying stupid shit and then leads to the most anticlimactic boss fight in the world
Because everyone with a pulse recognizes that the game is over and stops playing when they get to the shitty escort mission
>Finally beat Andrew Ryan to death
>Suddenly the cool voice in my head just keeps going BOYO BOYO BOYO with a moronic last section
>Fight a giant nudist
>Shoot him like eight times with a crossbow without an ounce of difficulty
Godawful last act. The endings proper were okay.
Honestly yeah. The game should have ended with Ryan’s death. That being only the 2/3rds mark really hurts it. Feels like everything afterward was extra and almost inconsequential, even if the segment of putting on the suit was neat (mostly just because the map is well designed)

I legitimately can’t think of a game that’s 100% amazing. I can think of plenty that are 85%+ but even 90% of the game being amazing is almost unachievable.
OOT
Jabu Jabu escort section, Water temple whirlpool room, Shadow Temple music.
>jabu jabu, water temple
all very easy and the entire game is less than 6 hours long, you shouldn't die more than 3 times during the game or you simply suck at games
That would be Fallout New Vegas. And if you disagree you're an ADHD homosexual or a contrarian that got brainwashed into thinking it's somehow a troony game
Both of you don’t understand what 100% means.
Yes I do ,and New Vegas is 100% amazing.
I can’t think of any parts of new vegas main story that I can’t stand to replay. You can technically skip most of the faction interactions by going yes man route but that’s technically the least amazing (interesting) ending. I can’t say if it was 100% amazing but it’s not a bad to play through
>stops being enjoyable the very second you reach vegas
woow
Vegas was unironically the best part. I always have a blast fricking around there rping in new ways.
Everyone agrees that the legion section of the game is blatantly unfinished.
I bought a copy for PS3 off of Mercari and found out the seller was a troony from the profile pic. I wouldn't have bought it had I known. I don't really like touching it
It’s a good game and I enjoyed it when I played it at release. If you had told me back then that over a decade later it would still be held up by many as the gold standard of western RPG’s in 2022 then I would have laughed in your face. New Vegas is just a testament to the decline of gaming. I don’t want to go back to it now. I want a new game that isn’t old as frick and where I don’t already know the entire fricking story. Is it really so much to ask… oh yeah and Fallout 4 was dogshit and I get a bit pissed off whenever I see it defended.

Not my fault you have low attention span zoomie
New vegas is 100% amazing, start to finish, never ending possibilities where you can do literally anything you want and the world will react to it. The game is your oyster.
I’ve beaten it a dozen times. It’s not a 100% amazing game. The Mojave itself is neither enjoyable to traverse or engaging enough to make the walk that makes up the first 60% of the game worth doing more than once. The only parts of the game worth replaying are killing Benny and Dead Money.

>ctrl-f: Ikaruga

really surprising, tbh.
I'm sure Ikaruga is fantastic but I personally have never had much appeal from the spaceship shooter genre. I just don't like the fundamental issue of pacing they basically all have. You're either moving too fast, too slow, and you can basically never stop or speed up. I much prefer stuff like Bangai-O that gives full control or Star Fox 64 that gives a lot more control. I will say though out of any spaceship shooter, Ikaruga looks the most appealing to me and I do want to pick up a copy at some point.
That Sega 6 pak really fricking went hard.

The first mission is literal garbage the first time you play the game. On a second playthrough, sure, it's all 10/10, but starting from the tutorial the first level is too confusing because you want to shoot but you have no aiming reticule and you don't know about the strength of the prod yet.

None. Perfection is so rare as to be considered a miracle. There is no single piece of media that I can consider 100% amazing, nor should you. Think about that number. It means when you pause the game your neurons are still firing on blast. No game exists like that. Nor will it ever. Our willingness to settle for less-thans as perfection harkens the end of our civilization.

By the logic of the prompt, any modern game or RPG isn't viable.
Contra Hard Corps is the only accurate answer.
The PS4 ratchet and clank bored me to tears
The gameplay in new ratchet has some improvements I like but mostly it’s a failure. I think it was ruined the moment they introduced the lane groovitron glove. Not only is it incredibly overpowered and makes the game a joke, but the joke itself is also extremely lame and gay. I avoid buying that shit because it’s just so fricking lame. I remember in the older games you had to at least put some effort into the combat, I’m not saying they were hard games but cmon. They were marketed towards early teens and younger yet the modern games seem to be made so that a child of 4 could beat it without too much trouble. I won’t even go into how hard they butchered the story. That shit was just unforgivable.
Half Life Alyx is a masterpiece so ill go with that.
Only ever played Vice City and Chrono Trigger. Never heard anything about any of the other titles.

>no bloodborne
wtf?
Can you really say any soulsborne game is enjoyable for the whole playtime?
I feel like all the ones I played were enjoyable in hindsight, but consistently had at least one period of dullness
yes, absolutely -- bloodborne
can you tell me why you think that? second half is when shit hits the fan and gets far more interesting
You're right about the atmosphere and lore, but I'm talking about the gameplay. The areas are annoying and the bosses are just worse. Starting with Rom, which is just a bad boss. After that, One Reborn is boring, Micolash is the worst boss in the entire game, then Mergo's Wet Nurse which is whatever. It only picks back up at Gehrman, which is amazing, but probably the only great mandatory boss during the second half of the game. The DLC I can agree a bit more, but I have problems with that too. Mainly Laurence and sharks.
I feel like you could say it about Salt and Sanctuary, because it's so short.
It's a blatant Soulsclone, but I blasted through it in one session because I didn't feel like stopping at any point.
>Bloodborne
LMAO. Almost the entire second half of the game is lacking.
This is only true if you ignore the Chalice Dungeons. I platinumed Bloodborne once and I will NEVER step foot inside a single Chalice Dungeon EVER AGAIN.
Nightmare Frontier sucks ass
Poison swamps are always bed everytime.
Main reason I haven't picked up elden ring or sekiro, I know those fricking games have them too.
Bloodborne is the strongest 9/10 out there tho
To be fair in Sekiro the "poison swamp" is basically one boss room and you can practically fly.
don't make me post the chart
anyway, once you leave yharnam (which is a 10/10 area), the game goes on a quality decline and it flatlines on Rom and then starts picking up until you reach the final boss which was pretty good. Then you get the DLC which is an 11/10 experience
Not even final fantasy or resident evil or at least any megaman game capcomsis...
If I were to pick games that fit this off the top of my head right now:
Mega Man X1
Mega Man X3
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
Banjo Kazooie
Jet Set Radio Future
Castlevania: SotN
Sonic Generations
Kingdom Hearts 2
Gunstar Heroes
>Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
You know it's a 10/10 game when the manage to make a water world feel just as great as the rest of the game
>Sonic Generations
Definitely not a 10/10 all the time.
All those shitty minigames or whatever.
Wow.
Honestly I'd have answered Super Mario World so far as popular items go- Rachet and Clank?!
But my honest answer has got to be Enderal. Free game and one of the best I've ever played- better still once you unchain it further from Skyrim through still more mods (Somnium, an overhaul in every sense of the word, is a great go-to).
>1000 hours on Dark Souls 1
what the frick? How?
Terranigma and Golden Sun.
Dusk.
I think the only game I've played that was truly amazing from beginning to end with no low points was pic rel
its weird, I picked this up on a sale
I loved it and on paper I know I love it and what I've played so far, but for some reason I just can't bring myself to finish it.
me getting filtered by that underwater millepede is a reason i can't finish it
legends is a bad version of origins
Super Mario Bros. 3 is shit.
The replayability is in the toilet.
You play it once, you gawk at the "cool level ideas" and then you will replay it only if you ever forget it.
There are SO MANY levels that are always skipped (moving screen levels anyone?) and some of them are pathetically short and easy, they're barely even levels.
Also, I played it more than anyone in this thread
Ratchet and Clank Up your Arsenal
Donkey Kong Country 2 maybe
Deus Ex
Metal slug 3
Sine Mora
Ace Combat 5
Sam & Max 3.05: The City That Dares Not Sleep
Thief (Gold)
Batman Arkham Asylum
maybe Resident Evil 4
>RE4

The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past
The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening

Super Metroid
Final Fantasy VII
The Wonderful 101
I don't think I would consider any game I've ever played to have no bad parts at all, certainly any of those games
dishonored 1 and dlc
Halo CE
BIT.TRIP Runner
Pokémon Crystal
SKATE
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head
CE has Truth and Reconciliations indistinguishable maze corridors and the Library Slog.
>Halo CE
becomes serious sam but worse halfway through
You're probably going to meme the shit out of me but RDR 2 is a masterpiece of a video game.
Lmao no. It is a masterpiece in graphics. Every time it tries to be a video game it fails horribly. This is based on the assumption that the primary role of a video game is to be yknow… fun
You don't even know what "fun" is. You have no fricking clue what makes something "fun" or even know how to quantify the concept of "fun". Fun is a buzzword, stop using it.

I feel that Mario RPG started to fall off at the sunken ship.
Escape fom Monkey Island is an odd one to list.
It's generally considered the worst of the original Monkey Islands and cetainly has not aged well at all.
Step aside children.
sa1
"AMY AND BIG ARE LE BAD" gays need not apply. both of their stories are comfy and kino, and if you think otherwise you're too young to have experienced them on the Dreamcast in the middle of the night; the way god intended.
I feel like saying a game is comfy, wholesome, or atmospheric is sometimes used as a defense mechanism when it doesn't have anything fun or engaging to offer
>Vice City
aged like non-pasteurized milk
people only remember it for the soundtrack, the highlights of the story, and the 80's Miami theme. The gameplay was absolutely dogshit and the sandbox was weaker than San Andreas
all gta games have dogshit mission design
Ace Combat Zero
portal took a while to get going, you only have the full portal gun for a quarter of the test chambers and the rest of the game is just finding 2 bits of portable wall with 1 environmental puzzle with the rocket turrets before the final boss. The minimum steps challenge is also just dumb.
portal 2's single player is dreadful, the sightseeing, the running commentary, and the test chambers all suck and the game clumsily switching between them is painful
I'd agree but nintendo clearly doesn't considering the warp whistle even exists
there's a moment during Into the Abyss after you escape the thunderdome and parkour back to the safety of the wienerpit to fight two of the murderbots you were just locked in with... and they're still a pain in the ass. Plus the entire normandy equivalent played like shit, there wasn't nearly enough mowing down infantry, and there's only one good titan v titan encounter that was apparently made by one dude when he had some extra time
Unfamiliar with PS2 mascot platformers, I'll give it the benefit of the doubt
I'd've picked Paper Mario RPG but fair enough
dude '80s lmao. Better than 3 at least
Bioshock drops to pretty good at the end of the medical pavilion when it abandons trying to be scary in favor of making everyone still trapped down there a cartoon crazy and drops to 4/10 around the time code yellow is resolved
Frick it, I'll give them that

Is that the on where you have a nice day at the end? Forgot why he did that.
Yeah The drugs your sensei filled you with are driving you insane and you have to choose to die as yourself or fall into the abyss and become a monster because you are unbelievably pissed that your master has abandoned tradition and turned the dojo into yakuza with tech ninjas and your first few missions were just being sent to kill the competition.
World 3 in SMB3 fricking sucks
I really can't think of any. Max Payne is the closest I can get because it's so short and sweet.
Tetris, Geometry Wars, Metal Slug 2, Splatterhouse, MGS3, Resident Evil Remake, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Sonic 2
Sonic Mania was amazing start to finish. S3&K is better, but has Marble Garden Zone and I hate that god forsaken place.
Mega Man 2, 3, X, and X2.

I genuinely enjoy the WaW-BLOPs 3 campaigns. Since BLOPs 4 didn't have a campaign and instead had some homosexual royal with bits of story it isn't canon. I also enjoyed the zombies stories up until BLOPs 4 where it went pure shit. Primus Richtofen never should have been damned, in fact the story should have ended with the house after purging the Shadow man. If they wanted to carry on zombies they should have brought back Victus L4D style where they keep trying to escape but the wraith of Ultimus Richtofen until they all meet a grim end.

This isn't a good question for finding great games, because if a game never dips even slightly, it's probably either very short or not ambitious enough.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of a single game that I truly love/would describe as "amazing" that doesn't also have some rough spots.

>not pictured, banjo-kazooie
It's a terrible game.
I'm aware. Look at the account who made the tweet.
Bioshock was great but everything after the plot twist sucked in comparison. It was not "100% amazing from start to finish".
I agree, it wasn't amazing all the way through but that's the whole game. The last level aftwr the twist is where you get to go full bore on all your skills till the crappy boss fight.
>Prove you aren't a NPC
I haven't bought a single game ever since TF2 back in 2008(before they went full israelite with the F2P shit)
Tetris
Why did I get bored with bioshock so easy? Is it because i just came from a borderlands playthrough?
Bioshock is babies first fps. I don't just mean as an exaggeration either, it was literally designed like that every step of the way. Every single aspect was playtested to death by normies so ken levine could force his team to dumb down every aspect until even toddlers could beat it.
Every single necessary power (which are also all the strongest) are given to you very early, every gun is shoved in your face, ammo is disgustingly generous, level design is nothing but hallways and corridors so your targets are always in front of you, saving all the sisters is just objectively the best choice, the plot is just an m. night shamalama twist, etc.
And it worked, coming out in the early days of normiebox 360 was perfect and for most fans it was the first fps they played and simply having an actual story and stuff like the audio tapes blew their mind. But if you've played anything more in depth and complex then it'll feel extremely bland.
Which is funny because it was originally envisioned as a sprawling maze with tons of complexity like System Shock.
t. didnt even play it
>sprawling maze
kek boring shock skizos are literally making shit up now
Ratchet and Clank 3, Bloodborne, and Bully are the only ones I can think of that I love all throughout
Portal 2 really didn't need to happen, glad gaben didn't make a third because the puzzles in 2 were just tedious instead of fun to figure out
and also the story was just another "return to the first game" type deal
>what if there's a new villain and he's so evil for no real reason that it makes you sympathize with GLaDOS
>also he's voiced by a comedian so there's tons of quips and one-liners meaning the dry humor of GLaDOS is just drowned out at all times by him
>Titanfall 2
Am I missing something? This game is a beloved classic apparently?

if you say so anon. Honestly, in my oppinion all the missions in the trillogy with 3 targets kind of suck. Especially with only one save. Miami, Isle of Sigail, and berlin (this might by hypocritocal) are my favorites i think.
Aside from maybe Titanfall 2 that is the most generic, tasteless, safe list of games I've ever seen. Man of Ganker ever disappears I don't know what I'd do. The most obnoxious /misc/gay or wokak poster is less annoying then the personalityless NPCs that hang out on reddit.
>No Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix

Super Mario Bros 3 is the best game on that list. Ratchet 2nd and Chrono 3rd. First person is shit.

Sekiro
Fun, straight to the point, amazing atmosphere, great story, short, replay value through boss rushes.
First game I ever called a 10/10 in the last decade
The tunnel between the reservoir and the mountain sucks. The mist c**t sucks. Triple monkey bossfight sucks. Underwater combat sucks. Headless suck, all of them do but the underwater double trouble sucks the most. Still a very good game.
Rpgs will never be so good to me
I don't have a single game for you. There is always one thing, one level to bring my favourite games down. Dishonored 1? Flooded district. Arx fatalis? Cultist headquarters. New Vegas? Come on now. Vtmb? Hollywood sewers. Deus Ex? Paris. You know what, frick me and frick you, She will punish them is 100% amazing from start to finish.
Being from Reddit, I'm really surprised there are no FromSoft games there, though personally I'd say only Sekiro really nails that cohesive 0-100% scale. Even Bloodborne falters a bit. Also surprised not to see Super Metroid.
>Escape from Monkey Island
I pray to god redditors are just fricking moronic and meant Secret, because if they think Escape was great they should all be killed
Anon they only said that game because some youtubers a while back pushed it as being the greatest point and click ever. Reddit just parrots what influencers say
Bioshock was a boring slog after Fort Frolic straight through the ending, and Super Mario RPG isn't amazing at any point in the game.
I can't think of one single piece of media that fits that description. The idea itself is reddit-tier.
What exactly did you mean by saying that while posting an example of media that fits that criteria?
It's one of my favorite movies ever, to the point that I overlook obvious flaws like the fake Ian Holmes and few shots that are just copied in the same scene. The criteria communicates to me that it wants a piece without flaws to even look past at all.
>Mario 3
>Great levels
>Last levels are slow autoscrollers
Nah. Odyssey is a fricking 10/10 though. I loved every level.
Let me post Ganker's opions because it's easy to shit on others without presenting your own.
You can really tell by this image that most of the users on Ganker were born in the late 80s and early 90s
homie every shenmue thread gets raided by yakuzagays.
I don't enjoy a bunch of shit there (I like the good ones though)
I believe that Alto and Geometry Dash, two mobile games about simple platforming, are about as close as you can get to pure video game perfection.
i hate entertainment snobs more than any other oversaturated content absorbers, you know they arent doing shit, and thats why theyre so critical of things they are invested in more than the average person, with little to no gain to boot
npc is the funniest meme because literally everyone except (you) is a npc. the opposite of walking a mile in someone elses shoes
World of Warcraft (PC)
Rape Games (SNES)
Roblox (PC)
I approve of none of these games
Pretty much all of these have just as many haters as enjoyers here
Now I know everyone keeps asking what Russian anons consider the best games of all time so here is their anime-less list.
The title should be the most discussed games on Ganker actually. Some are great, some are not but they are definitely brought up often.
Why do the ruskies like DXHR so much
Fricking garbage tier
I really fricking doubt half the people in whatever that thread was who picked SMRPG have actually played it. In a world of normalgays, ESPECIALLY the kind of normalgays who actually browse places like r/AskReddit who won't touch older games without 'officially sanctioned' emulation their options to play are extremely limited.

I almost picked Dark Souls 3 before I remembered Farron Woods.
would've also picked 1 if not for Lost Izalith and Demon ruins. Still adore both games.
its a hard call between 1 and 3 but 3 is a quick affair with much better pacing and boss design
farron woods is one of the weakest points in the game but its not particularly bad imo but that might be because im so familiar with it now
They both have different strengths and weaknesses. Personally, I do like that 3 is somewhat faster and the explored areas like Painted world, Irythll valley and Undead Settlement are a lot bigger than anything in Dark Souls 1. Nice that it's much harder than 1 as well. But at the same time, I generally like 1's world design and bosses a lot more. I feel like I get a lot more accomplished in the small world and the non-linearity is unparalleled. Plus getting the true ending is hell to remember each playthrough in 3, I even screwed it up one playthrough at the absolute last possible moment.
But I'm not a 3 hater, if Dark Souls 1 is a 9.9 Dark Souls 3 to me is a 9.4
i agree with you pretty much but i guess we both just appreciate different things more from each game
i love the boss fights and refined combat in 3 but 1 is an immersive kind of a slow burn and it definitely feels more rewarding to explore
theres nothing like showing back up to firelink from a shortcut after a gauntlet of tough areas
and the setting and story are definitely better
i definitely appreciate the strengths of both
Truly, we have been blessed by Fromsoft that what one might call the "weaker game" of the two is still more fun, memorable and replayable than 99% of vidya.

BioShock is very very very very overrated. It is the definition of dumbing down a genre defining title (Shock 2) into console goyslop. Of course consolegays playing BioShock for the first time and thinking it was some sort of unmatchable kino actually had no idea because they had played a grand total of 5 games at that point that weren't CoD or Halo.
Luigi's Mansion 1.

While I would say that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. SoC is better, Call of Pripyat is definitely a game that is amazing from start to finish. Shadow of Chernobyl just starts out shitty because it gives you shitty peashooters that always miss at the start and the end fricking sucks, especially if you do the true ending.
F.E.A.R. 1 and Extraction Point are flawless from start to finish.
Same with System Shock 2, Metal Gear Solid 1-3, Yakuza 0, Sekiro, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Project Wingman, Cruelty Squad (though that game really isn't for everyone), Pathologic 2 and I would love to say Thief 1 or 2 but both games have the occasional levels that absolutely suck ass.
>Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
what about the korea missions?
I didn't mind it, I thought it was pretty cool to have a mission where you infiltrate North Korea.
>Prove you aren't a NPC
i don't make toplists
ESCAPE from Monkey Island!?
Kotor 1. I want to say Kotor 2, but it's unfinished and if it was the HK Factory would've brought it down.
The only game from this list i played was titanfall and it really isnt that great
ghost trick and donkey kong country 1 come to mind
Riven
The animal/noises/numbers puzzle was dogshit and you know it.
And it was the only real puzzle the first huge chunk of the game had.
Dark Souls, Dark Souls II, Dark Souls IIl, Demon's Souls, Elden Ring, Bloodborne, Sekiro, Nioh, Nioh 2, Little Witch Nobeta.
Frickin none of those
>titanfall 2
