it was just a tiny worthless little minigame but it's still funny how pathetically imbalanced the covenant table was for no reason >the fae characters are stronger than all the others >the fae npc healers are even stronger than that >the fae trappers are stronger still >every other cov gets useless npcs >fae is just free money and the others are misery
I was fae on most my characters btw, paid my subtime off of the free augment runes/gil
- They fricked PvP
- They don't add new mechanics to freshen up the game
- The story is just moronic at this point
- They added a lot of weird gay shit
They don't add cool shit that would be easy wins, like a necromancer class or something kino like that
The game doesn't really have a decent on-ramp for new players and hasn't for well over a decade. The new player experience is terrible and awkward and the story is incomprehensible. The leveling experience flies by and really getting a feel for how your class is supposed to function doesn't happen until max level, at which point you either engage in content that is so undertuned nothing matters (WQs/LFD/LFR) or overdesigned to the point that you have sensory overload (visual clutter/poorly telegraphed overlapping fight mechanics and mandatory interrupts/stuns)
PvP has been a lost cause since forever, MOBAs and other games filled the role that WoW or MMO PvP served.
SoD of Discovery is mid at best. They turned it into retail, as evidenced by the player count.
Changing vanilla isn't necessarily a bad thing. #nochanges was wrong. The problem is that Blizzard changes things randomly according to their whims, instead of asking the community what they want.
>#nochanges was wrong.
No it wasn't, the whole point of #nochanges was because people knew nu-blizz was incapable of improving anything.
They pretended it was to get the original experience or whatever but it was just to avoid homosexuals putting their nose into their old game.

>horrible new player experience >nothing teaches new players actual important mechanics >frontloaded with hours of brainless easy content and easy difficulty modes (nobody "progresses" through normal/heroic/m0 dungeons to m+2 to 10, you can immediately jump in there, why do those difficulties exist?) >gameplay loop hasnt changed in 4 expansions (do wqs, do m+, raid) >nothing to do outside of getting a higher ilvl
>pvp is gay, you can spend months playing your character but they suddenly turn into a template of their class when you enter the arena and sometimes you don't even have access to long cd abilities >shit like spriest mana battery or sv hunter raidwide ad buff on crit gave people alternate specs to play other than the highest dps 'right' way, bring the player not the class was moronic >the community is literally all tryhards now, in the old and correct sense of the term >raid boss loot tables are fricking pathetic now compared to their height in Wotlk. Used to be class specs would prefer different stats and they filled the tables with gear to allow for that. Same for classes with different weapons options. Now it's a joke >homosexual ass devs literally took a spec of a ranged class and turned it melee, like sorry you decided to play a ranged class when you created your character however many years ago but we've decided you play melee now >I don't personally know anything about all the homosexual characters and quests in the latest expansion but I don't think anything needs to be said about that shit >chromie is a cute gnome/dragon girl, not a man in a skirt
I don't have any critiques, I've never played it.
then you're a cultist who keeps supporting Blizzard.

Did people start farting on others when they couldn't spit anymore?
that was my first thought.
the only people playing retail wow at this point are furries and scat fetishists

Is this bait or are you just pretending you are/were a WoW player? Because it doesn’t seem like you’re being serious.
I've played WoW since 2005 and stopped at BFA (I did play BFA and shadowlands but barely)
reddit filename tho
imagine spending so long on reddit you can recognize the filenames
There are none. WoW is the perfect game

The world makes zero sense to any non-WOW autist. Just walk outside Stormwind and you're suddenly in a different timeline.

This chart is proof that WoW was all nostalgia and no substance. Now that people had their hit of nostalgia, they're done with it.

are those mythic raiding parses for retail? heroic has 500k+ parses for the most popular specs
Old, dated, and filled with bottom barrel freaks
There is nothing left but gimmicks with classic
Once sod ends, what's left?
>Once sod ends, what's left?
Season of discovery: TBC
TBC classic was so unbelievably bad. Vanilla is the only game anyone cares about
Disgusting. It's bad enough what they're doing to vanilla, I refuse to see them violate TBC

Grim
I don't even have the energy to complain about this fricking game anymore, I wish it would just go away already.
They've ruined Blood / Void Elves with the addition of new facial animations.
They look like ghouls now during combat.

I didn't start a thread on it.
There is nothing wrong with WoW. My mounts/mogs/cheevos that I wasted over a decade of my life grinding for can't mean nothing... ACK!
you seem a bit jealous anon
lack of playable naga
He doesn't make a good case for keeping the emote.
