i think xbox is doing well because of gamepass.
i hear a lot of young kids talking on playing stuff on xbox or gamepass. i would know cause i teach it class in a highschool.
when i overhear kids they only really talk about a few topics with video games chiefly among them. the vast majority of kids talk about fortnite daily. its like the world of warcraft craze when i was back in highschool.

It's almost like the PS5 has no games. I managed to get mine at retail price through a friend at the height of the ps5 craze, and i haven't turned it on ever since i beat the demon souls remake. with most of the ps4 exclusives coming to pc, what's the point of playstation anymore?

Pretty much this. I've always gotten playstation consoles for JRPGs and such but I've finally got a good PC and most JRPGs are coming to PC now. This is the first gen where I might just skip Playstation altogether. If Persona 6 is on PC at release then it's a done deal.

PC has been on the rise in Japan. Most jap games release on PC now, with only a select few like Vanillaware still sticking to only consoles.
