Not him but I used to have a dongle for my wireless headset plugged into the back and it was completely fine even after 10 to 12 hours of playing. I think part of the issue is people having their own custom sticks that are going to need more power and that increases the heat output like pic related.

Didn't they make the heat sync worse on newer models? The only good ones are the early models with the fat heat sinks that are twice the size.

I have a charger and use it wireless. The ports in the back aren't melty still.
