Really sweaty or active smelling. I mean look what she does on the regular.
c'mon
keep coomposting like complete moron furgays
that sure went well for the other thread
oh right, I made it go 404, and it will happen again until you learn to post and discuss the game accordingly
Planning on it now actually, looks like a lot of fun.
And continuing from the other thread, any other 3D platformers in that style that are worth my time? Might be good to learn from what others are doing before starting my own.
My plan is a cryptid/Halloween 3D platformer with the mothman as a protagonist. Very Spyro inspired by having similar glide mechanics. A ways off, but that's the goal and I'll see it through.
Sexy Moths are a hot commodity, Vtuber Juniper Actias is an example (Not a fan of the personality tho)
True true. There's a fat artist that has a really popular moth character as well, now that I recall. I was going for more of a goofy style but there might be a way to bridge cute and sexy.
Frick I think you're right. OR, if I don't make the mothman itself a thick chick, do you think having a curvy witch or something might entice people? I plan on involving a bunch of cryptids and classic monsters as NPCs/bosses so changing some to women might work.
Just make the mothman curvalicious
look at porn games and find your answer there
>reminded me of moth girl game
weaverdev hasn't posted anything new in 2 years
I don't think he's gonna finish it
All duly noted. I'm legit taking notes. I'm learning 2D development right now, but I'll move to 3D after I figure out how this all works.
That sounds really sweet, yeah if you can pull that off you might just hit the sweet spot, there's definitely an opportunity, I actually have Pumpkin Jack wishlisted atm, Halloween games when they're good (and platformers) are just great.
Pumpkin Jack and Medievil are the inspirations for the vibe I want to hit, with Spyro being more of the gameplay and atmosphere. It's a niche, but I know others like myself thrive on that kind of game.
None yet. Planning probably Unity. I posted in the previous thread, I'm still really green to game development so I'm starting small and working on proof of concepts with the Gameboy, then I'll move on to Unity for 3D stuff.
Yes.
There are some "people" out there spend thousands in gachas just to get "basic animu lady #595984739.jpeg".
Though you could also just design something that looks awesome and badass too.
As it turns out, people actually really like looking at sexy/cool things. Who'da thunk?
Jesus Christ. I forget how batshit insane people can get for the right character design. I'm not even in this for the money, I just want to make something fun that scratches an itch I've had, and might do the same for others.
I'd love more sexy moth women as much as the next guy but I'd still play a fun moth game with cool batman gliding n shit.
Fricking sick, that's a vote of confidence if I've ever heard one.

I'm too much of a brainlet to ever bother with asm, that shit's insane
Down for this design especially if it's got good flying gameplay. Only question remaining is what's the objective?
>Only question remaining is what's the objective?
Leave people cryptic messages about upcoming disasters that will do jackshit to prevent them
kek I love that idea. I'm going for more of a Halloweeny vibe though. Right now the idea is cryptids are all aliens, the enemies and bosses are either MIB or monsters. The idea is everyone's just being played by the MIB in hopes they'd destroy each other while mothman's fricking around trying to stop the disaster from occurring on October 31st. Still super early though, I'm workshopping ideas. >Hopkinsville goblins that are your "informational" npc that roll up in small groups to fill you in >Sasquatch is the first cryptid you meet who helps you get your bearings >Flatwoods Monster saves you from being captured at one point >Vampires, werewolves, witches, ghosts, etc are trying to stop you all the while
i made my game's mothman cute instead
I adore this little moth like you wouldn't believe Is your game playable?

Wait do you mean human MIB like the Will Smith movie or the ones described in the Mothman Prophecies?
Anonymous
More human than anything. Like they're just like "frick non-humans" and trying to get everything else to kill each other.
>asm, that shit's insane
it is! its like literally wizardry . goodluck with C
I remember one of my CompE courses in college covering asm and I retained none of it. C is something I work in on the daily so thankfully it's not an uphill battle.
I'll hopefully have something to show for all of my bluster by this fall. Work has me bored as frick so I've been crash-coursing development in the meantime.
>Flatwoods Monster
Love that weirdo in ways that probably aren't legal. Not even sure what a game with a playable Flatwoods Monster would be like, but I'd play it.
It's one of my favorites Dream dream game even further down the line is a cryptid fighter. I always envisioned the Flatwood Monster would be a zoner/form changer, where after a point it would shift into a Reptilian brawler.

working on the engine. will release 1 thing end of this month as an example full game and post it on /gedg/ and /agdg/. you can code C in real time and reload textures/shaders too
been slacking a lot but i've been working on my drawing skills and learning more about tracker music too. after that is out i'll be working on the demo.
it's just a simple dungeon crawler rpg but with a lot of fun enemies and chrs feat. silly spooky stuff

anon to answer your question, it's up to you
but if you go down the moth"woman" route, and make her physically attractive, it will most surely bring you more sales if had stuck with a mothman concept
Yes.

I'll have to look out on those threads, that on Ganker or somewhere else?
Music and art seem like the hardest parts when you don't have much of a background, but I do like your little sketches. If nothing else, seeing another making fun spooky stuff in a game brings a lot of joy to me. I hope you can get it to a state where you're happy with the game!
yeah /gedg/ is on Ganker. they are like /agdg/ but for game engine dev.
the game itself is mainly 3d low-poly. 3d is actually my main thing, only been doing digital art for like 2 years now, which will appear in the game too.
That's pretty sick, I'm really impressed anon. I'll poke my head in over there and see what I can glean. If I get to a point where there's something worth sharing, I'll post there as well. Otherwise I'll just look out for your release!
Already did.
Post the pirate version.
Give me a damn map
What do you think she smells like?
comfy warm homely smell
Pure undistilled pheromones
Really sweaty or active smelling. I mean look what she does on the regular.
I like watching her doing all those pirouettes
i still don't understand wtf is her weapon

wouldn't play this shit even if it was free, shill
I really don't get the hype for this game
play the damn game and find out. theres even a download where you can try it somewhere
>cool old school aesthetic

personally just 1 and 2 for me

I won't play the game though. Or jack off to her. (I am saving my babybatter for my future waifur)

I tried to speed run it but I somehow missed sunsetter. You can get far without it but there is a point where you have to Smash floors.
I dont know how the speedrunners do it.
Huge tracts of gameplay.
she cute
Okay but real talk, does all it really take to get people to play a game is a cute girl protagonist?
Do I need to give the mothman breasts
>mothman
?
a cryptid
