It's a Yakuza game with the Cliffs Notes version of FotNS with a bunch of OC takes on the story or OC characters. Rei and Mamiya are also barely in the game despite being Kenshiro's best friends. Most references are left more towards the moves you do, the equips you get, and the Destiny Talismans you get.
Do you know what "OC" even means? It's "Original content". Targa, Xsana, Rihaku, and that one other guy voiced by Yuya are completely new and only found in this game. The story revolves around them with interjections by the regular cast, the regular cast is handled very differently especially Rei, important characters are missing from the parts they do try to recreate, they rush stuff like Souther, and Kenshiro farts around New Eden instead of adventuring from city to city killing people.
only if you have a lot of disposable income
I bought a PS5 and sold my ps4 pro for the same amount that I bought it for
it's just a ps4 with a few new games, and it stays at 60 fps easier
It's in the game as well as Tough Boy but only if you bought the Japanese Premium Edition specifically. You couldn't get them in the western version sadly.
You will learn a move that literally splits motherfrickers in half and the guy standing next to them shout out OH SHIT! and the OH SHIT! literally solidifies in the air and falls to the ground and you can then pick up the OH SHIT! and use it as a weapon to beat the other guys with.
I was very pleasantly surprised with this game, was uncertain about both this and the one piece game that came out at the same time but I picked this one up and it's huge and there's lots of side stuff you can do but it doesn't drag if you just go through the main story. I'd give it a 8/10 hidden gem
Despite being full of violence, shounen is aimed at boys aged 10-14 years old.
In Japan, kids don't finish learning all the kanji at school until they are finished middle school (approx 15 years of age), and so all shounen has furigana next to every chinese character.
The "super mature cartoons for adults" you all watch are actually aimed at ignorant japanese children.
Depends on what kind of person you are.
Are you desperate for new HnK content? Do you really like Yakuza?
If your answer is "yes" then go for it. It will scratch that itch quite well.
Otherwise I can't recommend it. The game suffers from "original story" syndrome. Basically repurposing a good chunk of the story without implementing what made it work so well in the first place. Which is utterly confusing considering both franchises have great storytelling.
tl;dr: Eyes of heaven's original story is much better than what you will find here.
I just wish Ken's Rage 1's requirements in the levels weren't so dumb and specific. I had to have a guide open all the time to figure out how the hell I was supposed to even get everything in a stage.
Leftists hate it when evil people are killed.
fpwp coping hard about sociopathic tendencies
>YaSnooza devs
don't even bother
>not an ally of justice
enemy of mankind spotted
>Evil villains have a change of heart right before they are about to be killed
>Dude, you should just let him go!
:/
Well Roah does kind of have a change of heart in the last battle and saves Yuria after Kenshiro beats him.

It's honestly very mid and none of the anons in the replies have actually read it
It runs on the Yakuza 5/0 engine, so it's a masterpiece.
It's basically a yakuza game but you can do finishers Hokuto style.

only if you have a lot of disposable income

it's just a ps4 with a few new games, and it stays at 60 fps easier
It's basically a FotNS fanfic with Yakuza gameplay
(You) は Shock
I don't think that song is even in the game, or any anime music for that matter.
It's in the game as well as Tough Boy but only if you bought the Japanese Premium Edition specifically. You couldn't get them in the western version sadly.
Amazing, buying now
it sucks. ridiculous amount of qtes, even for a yakuza game.

Kenshiro receives you dream.
Best Yakuza game
Not even the best FotNS game. Honestly I dropped Lost Paradise.
>i'm not a woman
>"There would be no need to cover yourself"
>says a guy wearing clothing

Probably the worst "Yakuza" game ever made.
