Added Scarlet & Violet DLC mons/moves with several caveats--

Many of these shinies are very similar to their normal palettes which can be underwhelming. They have been made more distinct to be more rewarding.

Quality of Life Changes
Replaced Sound type (Stereo, Mono) in Options menu to Music On/Off. Sound Type will be defaulted to Stereo. Toggling Double Battles is now also available in Options menu.
The Music option can toggle the background music, sound effects like cries and attack sounds will still be on. It does not persist through saves so you will have to toggle it off after resetting if so desired. Changes to music setting will only take place after a scene transition (going into a battle, changing maps, etc)
Added second page to Options menu that displays game mode information, and an option that allows you to change R Button Mappings (Dexnav, Bag, Pokemon menu)
Added Dream Patch.
Too many more changes to QoL, TM's, buffs to Pokemon, bug fixes, ect to list out.

This looks like the most uninteresting slop I have ever seen. The game.is just a glorified boss simulator and even then fails to make good thematic comp teams for the expense of shilling every Gen 9 Pokémon. They have this huge ass roster at their disposal. Yet uses far too little of it to make it engaging. Example: Why does Koga have an Iron Valiant? His boss is focused on speed, but Iron Valiant is a rather weird choice for said team. I have nothing against Gen 9 Pokémon, but sacrificing themes only to shill them makes the game lose its identity.

It's because the change was back in 4.0 so I guess it would be a bit redundant, but I still forgot all about it though lol.
Trust me I'm dying for IE 2.0 as well, the Battle Frontier update is gonna go crazy too if either ever see the light of day. I do know that 2.0 is gonna be closed source meaning no more fan patches, but there's gonna be built-in shiny modifiers which is all I needed from those patches anyways.

Is there a way to play this romhack with all these new changes EXCEPT the new Pokemon? I don't consider anything after Gen V canon or real so I'd like to play it without all the useless ugly junk.
All doubles would be cool, but I want all triples. It would feel a bit more like Dragon Warrior Monsters that way, especially if you could fuse Pokemon instead of breeding them like that one romhack does.

I barely care about shinies and don't care about most of the mons but I'm not gonna update solely due to those trash shinies.
Many got worse and this guy clearly hates the color green since not all green shinies are bad and didn't warrant changes. Ice types that get clearer with shinies are actually decent and still changed those too.
I agree that not all green shinies are bad by any means, but gamefreak does have a habit of ""picking"" ugly shades of green, and a lot of these shinies would be better with literally anything else than what they got.
Also there was voting done on the Discord server too.
I just compiled two collages with
- Green shinies given a different shade of green
- Green shinies given a different colour
- Other shinies being made green
just for you.
Like I said earlier in this thread though, not all the shinies are winners and could use some workshopping, some were just fine the way they are. This is all purely subjective though, as beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I initially thought the new shinies were optional but I'm not so sure now, would be nice.
