there's some fricking weirdos that lie and say they don't work at all, but I've played pretty much everything day 1 (or day -8 for SMT 5 and Fire Emblem)
Everything worked perfectly except XC3 had some weird glitches with the souls flying from the dead bodies and I had to use a custom build, but I got to play it at 60 FPS and 1440p so it was worth it. We get to remove blur and it looks like SHIT on Switch.
Basically, I have a Switch and I have never had to actually go use it because emulation was bad for a title yet.
People going into this game expecting mindfricks like in Danganronpa will be extremely disappointed, I feel. All signs point to this being a comfy game, like Somnium files was for Uchikoshi.
Not going to be preordering any uchikoshi shit after AI2.

AI 2 was worse than the first game but I still had fun with it. If you mean DR3 then yes you're wrong to be an enjoyer but if you mean V3 then you aren't. V3's only issue is that it gets meta in the final case, the rest of the game was good.
I didn't bother with AI 2 yet, but I absolutely loved the first somnium files.
Some stuff is completely moronic and "japanese humor" like dodging bullets by being faster from seeing erotic magazines, but sometimes you get really heartfelt scenes and the characters are lovely. Soundtrack is fantastic too.
I also have the same moronic humor as the main character, which made clicking everything really funny since he always has to make moronic puns.
Dub was great too but some can't stand any dub so who knows.

They were psp japan exclusive titles, the first contact westerners had with the series was thanks to the anime, I played the original two games on psp and I can tell you that the anime was the turning point for the fanbase which spawned all the Junko cosplayers and tumblrerinas.
I think the rabid fans would lynch you if they found out that you want to pirate it. I would also still consider it a pretty niche game, wouldn't be surprised if a lot of DR fans never even heard of it just like with other more popular franchises when a spin-off or a new IP comes out from the same creator.

file uploaded last thread that codes the japanese voices into the english release, adds the two japan exclusive scenes that hadn't been translated yet into the english version, changes bad translations like HASTA LA VISTA back into an actual translation
only problems seem to be that character mouths won't move with the voices, autoplay isn't timed right because of the voice line lengths, and the cg viewer is busted because of the two new cgs to go with the new scenes but none of that is really a big deal and this gives me a reason to replay it

The FIRST thing he did was suggest ripping their limbs off. He only backtracked and said "uhhhh okay let's break their arms and legs haha" when everyone looked at him like he was insane. Haruaki hadn't killed anyone (except via hanging) by that point. He was just that desperate to prevent his own death (again) because he thought winning the game would end the loop. The Yoshitsugu thing was on the following route, just before the ENEMY appeared.
There's nothing wrong with him. Ultimately, his suggestion worked even better than expected, and didn't require any effort.

Shigemichi is, by the game's own math and design, the most likely character to be voted off if innocent or guilty and the most likely to get caught in easy lies. He's not the actual worst liar(that's Comet), but he lies the most and he's one of the worst at it. He gets frozen or dies more than any other character.
From what I know about some of these characters >Edgeworth takes on the "detective" role and is probably first pick for a protag assuming he isn't murdered >Adachi probably tries to blend in at first, but at some point tries to subtly stir shit up, get caught, and then act like a prick the rest of the game. Because the Japanese voices are currently only implemented in the Japanese version of the game and have not been added to other versions due to licensing costs, and the creator apparently intends to add them when he can but hasn't been able to do so, so instead someone decided to take it upon themselves to go code thousands of lines of dialogue into the game.

What are the chances of this being connected to DR in any way? I think in some interview on Spike Chunsoft’s youtube Kodaka was asked about this and he said no comment. I really hope it isn’t but if it is I gotta wonder what that connection could be. Basically, I have a Switch and I have never had to actually go use it because emulation was bad for a title yet.

I forget off the top of my head if this scene happens before or after Yoshitsugu beats the frick out of him and yet he's still capable of murder at night or not. I think it does, so that would explain why he realizes that nothing short of amputation will basically render them incapable of murder. I could be misremembering the order, though.

Haruaki hadn't killed anyone (except via hanging) by that point. He was just that desperate to prevent his own death (again) because he thought winning the game would end the loop. The Yoshitsugu thing was on the following route, just before the ENEMY appeared.
There's nothing wrong with him. Ultimately, his suggestion worked even better than expected, and didn't require any effort.

Because the Japanese voices are currently only implemented in the Japanese version of the game and have not been added to other versions due to licensing costs, and the creator apparently intends to add them when he can but hasn't been able to do so, so instead someone decided to take it upon themselves to go code thousands of lines of dialogue into the game.

What are the chances of this being connected to DR in any way? I think in some interview on Spike Chunsoft’s youtube Kodaka was asked about this and he said no comment. I really hope it isn’t but if it is I gotta wonder what that connection could be. If I had to guess I’d say this world could be the same as V3’s world, but I doubt it would take place at the same time. Maybe before they started making real killing games or long after the events of V3.
