Red canonically has all four starters, you mong. If anything Pikachu is his canon starter based off his team comp. They gave Red Blastoise in Evolution, and Charizard in Origins and Masters.

Actually the correct answer for the strongest is Alder because, without grinding, you are put in a situation where your team has the largest exp deficit when you fight against him.
