Stagger added another element to weapon/armor balance, some frames have really good stagger defense but bad damage reduction for their weight range etc. It's not like the old games are balanced lol

Stagger is 3.5 gen heat with none of the nuance or ability to build around.

But you can build around it, that's why frames have different stagger defense independent of their damage defense, and why weapons have different stagger damage. You are just throwing a fit because you don't like it but can't ignore it.
