Is there any actual law or written document by the US government that says you have to delete the roms if you sell the games?

That didn't answer my question, though. Do you want genuine discussion or are you here just to meme?

meme because when i looked it up there is no legal precedent so we would have to go to court and see what happens. i imagine that paying for a copy once, doesn't entitle you to it the intellectual rights to use forever, especially if you sold your copy. that doesn't make sense.
People that have an entire room of games just stick them on a shelf. They're pretty much investors, but they never sell. They just like watching them go up in value.
People who REALLY collect have maybe one shelf worth of video games.
I that joe from game sack? he looks like he is missing dave and tired of the hobby / job life of making youtube video. Dude looks sick, like he should weigh more.
>I that joe from game sack? he looks like he is missing dave and tired of the hobby / job life of making youtube video. Dude looks sick, like he should weigh more.
It's not Joe.
>have no connection to video games >doesnt even really like playing them >"invests" thousands of dollars into collecting games and consoles for the sole purpose of becoming a youtuber
naw guy was into it as a kid, has plenty of footage and his expertise is from that era. Comes off as genuine. At least when its started, i havent seen any of the new shit.
>games for a given system continue horizontal onto the next shelf instead going to the next shelf below >Doesn't even bother to at least make the shelves level with each other.
does anyone else find it horribly fricking cringe when western pigfricks collect localized materials that are clearly not meant for them in any capacity
>Imagine owning such a vast trove of media and realizing that your existence won't be long enough to ever possibly access it all
This occurred to me a long time ago when I was still a teenager. It cured me of my compulsion to collect and even extended to make me not care about achievements/trophies in games.
have you even watched the interview/showcasing his collection moron? Obviously he enjoys collecting and also enjoys collecting hard to get games. He knows he can't play them all realistically, thank you captain obvious.
Reminds me of the one Irish dude that was the face of InCels for a little while. He had a YT channel and CNN did an interview with him calling him an InCel.
i could download all of that onto a 1tb hard drive and chuck it into a drawer
>harddrive
i got all that on my sd card on my steamy shitdeck tbqhwmn
By all means, do you emulate? And could you possibly TELL us about it? And you know WHY you emulate too?
And yet you wouldn't really own them
?
Define "own". Because I'm pretty sure he'd be able to access them at any time whenever he wants.
not if i call the cops on him for pirating.
checkmate
Cops won't do shit unless he's black.
>yeah, I ripped the roms myself and then sold the games
What now?
then you have to delete the roms or go to jail.

Im 100% convinced that if you called the cops on someone because he pirated some SNES roms they would actually call you a homosexual to the face.
I think they will just laugh at first.
Now if you insist, yes
>And yet you wouldn't really own them
Oh noooooo! Not gonna stop me from playing it whenever the frick I want, moron.
lacking the rope
Why do you like making fun of people's appearances? That's not very nice of you anon.
sorry as it's online and the person is faceless and anonymous it's easy to make fun of them.
but you are correct it's very mean
if you can't handle mean comments on the internet maybe you're too weak to live.
I thought he was hanging lol
JEJ
>rate my colle-ACK!
MUCH BETTER
You only have one incel there
That's not a collection
I've know a few people with big video game collections like this.
They never play any of these fricking games. What's the point?
sell them to the next sucker
Its a great distraction until the release of death. Theres always games to add to the collection.

1000 feet from any school/10

It's not Joe.
I don't collect anything anymore. It feels pretty liberating and I can't imagine the money I save.
He looks sad in that image. Also he should sell that soon

>AAAAHHHHHHHHHH ANOTHER BARBIE GAME FOR THE COOMLECTION
>THIS ONE'S REALLY RARE, MANAGED TO KNOCK THE SELLER DOWN TO $600, WHAT A STEAL!
>games for a given system continue horizontal onto the next shelf instead going to the next shelf below
>Doesn't even bother to at least make the shelves level with each other.
Rate mine.
Soulful but I hate the cheap IKEA Particle board book case. Spend some money on yourself too, you cheap frick
>Hardly any games
>Hardly any cohesion
>Too many nintendo games, everything non nintendo is ancient
>Too much moviegay shit
>you need to have shelves full of games that you're never gonna play
Not even that anon, but seriously? A smaller collection has more personality.
most of those are random ass games though. maybe 1 good game per console. Would apply if there actually some good games in there.
I'm sure anon has some fun stories to go along with those games, that's probably why he has them, no? I.E., more personality?
Thats a lot of assuming and goodwill towarrds op from a complete stranger. I think your OP
God forbid someone shows some good will on this fricking website. Every thread has to be negative. Can we at least see your collection?
Semi tasteful/10
At least it’s just a shelf and it’s filled with stuff (you) enjoy and isn’t just collection for collection’s sake
Pedo
>Loses wife due to channel
I lost my GF due to WoW and it never stops hurting. Unable to play any MMOs because i get cucked vietnam style flashbacks
does anyone else find it horribly fricking cringe when western pigfricks collect localized materials that are clearly not meant for them in any capacity
I thought he was dangling on a rope at a first.
why he look sad?
Because he owns no Neo Geo and only common rubbish.
Eventually a game library can get to such a size that things get existential
Quick math says the dude in this pic would have to spend the rest of his life just to meaningfully visit/revisit every game in this collection
Imagine owning such a vast trove of media and realizing that your existence won't be long enough to ever possibly access it all
Probably for the best. There is a lot of shit games out there.

I always thought Destiny was PC gamer only
Why does he look so sad? Did he realize that spending that much money, space and life on videogames was a mistake?
He spent loads of money and quit his job to try jumping into a retro-vidya Youtube career, and had to admit defeat after a few months
link his youtube channel, i want to watch his decline
Reminds me of the one Irish dude that was the face of InCels for a little while. He had a YT channel and CNN did an interview with him calling him an InCel.
Is that the guy who bought $20 worth of every single random altcoin he could find?
kek, it just might be.
He also did a respone video to all of the haters.
Damn his sad failure went slightly viral
Get a life, homosexual/10.
This needs to be captioned, "If only you knew how bad things really are."
