From what I've seen Archer and Mage are pretty tied in overuse, but they go best with basic fighter Arisen, which is the most popular atm based on this "demo".
So I'm guessing its a realistic expectation that when the mods start coming we can only really use them for our Arisens cause people without mods would look at our pawns in the rift differently.

For every RPG I always make basically the same generic fantasy dude, but Dragon's Dogma always presents the unique problem of designing a second character. What other factors change skin color? These faces have the exact same skin settings but one is paler. It can't just be the head, their chest are slightly different shades as well.
Did you change the brow, fat, and muscle mass? Pretty sure they've got sub scattering memes turned on as well since the pale characters catch lighting color changes harder than brown skinned characters.
There's like two or three fat settings. Upper body mass is muscle and mess with the head and neck, but upper body size is the fat content. That's why they get the turbo stomachs.
Then you have the cheek and neck fat in face.
Brow and eye depth can heavily affect lighting so it'll make your character's eyes look more sickly a lot of the time if you don't directly splash their face with lighting. So you get a color that you never planned for and can't find makeup settings for.
The worst lighting in the cc will probably be the closest to how your waifu looks in-game. The blue/brown background lighting won't even exist in-game too.

It has four endings, a truly amazing story which is heartfelt and tragic and explores the human condition in a way I've never seen before and moved me in ways I hadn't ever experienced, and is one of the most unapproachably unrecommendable things ever. For every RPG I always make basically the same generic fantasy dude, but Dragon's Dogma always presents the unique problem of designing a second character. I always had a hell of a time deciding on the main pawn in my playthroughs of DD1, and this is even worse considering how long we've been waiting for DD2 so now the anticipation is making me second guess myself.

I've been having a good time finding faces I think suck and then trying to make them look good. Accidentally made Impa with this one though.
What other factors change skin color? These faces have the exact same skin settings but one is paler. It can't just be the head, their chest are slightly different shades as well.

Did you change the brow, fat, and muscle mass? Pretty sure they've got sub scattering memes turned on as well since the pale characters catch lighting color changes harder than brown skinned characters.
I mean I've messed with literally every setting, so probably. Fat as in the cheeck and neck fat option? Not sure why brow would change anything.
There's like two or three fat settings. Upper body mass is muscle and mess with the head and neck, but upper body size is the fat content. That's why they get the turbo stomachs.
Then you have the cheek and neck fat in face.
Brow and eye depth can heavily affect lighting so it'll make your character's eyes look more sickly a lot of the time if you don't directly splash their face with lighting. So you get a color that you never planned for and can't find makeup settings for.

The worst lighting in the cc will probably be the closest to how your waifu looks in-game. The blue/brown background lighting won't even exist in-game too.
My character looks a lot better in the natural lighting than the blue/brown default ones. Though still a lot better at 3/4 view than frontal portrait.
