Call me crazy but i think the Unown are there to tease gen 2 remakes. Afterall this yearvis the 25th annivesary of GS aswell as 15th annivesary of HGSS. In my opinion they teased them now to reveal them later in the year like it was with ORAS and LGPE. BDSP was revealed on Pokemon day as a tie in with Legends Arceus.

What else would you expect mid gen? Of course its either legends or remakes. Also they revealed the next main GF project. If a remake does happen in this gen then it will be outsourced.
