>Zero effort put into actually analysing the resolution and frame rate.
nobody gives a frick, it's a straight comparison without the useless commentary from channels like digital homosexualry
FPS matters the closer you are to the screen, hence why PC-gays obsess over it
Although even that case hardly matters. The original concern with it was for FPS players in competitive scenarios tbh.
According to AMD, FSR2 is easy to implement.
Hell, even modders release FSR2 mofs for games that don't have it.
Japs are more incompetent than a guy in his free time, got it.
>do you have any software skills/experience at all?
Actually yes, mobile app software dev for 6 years, no game dev tho.
Still, a multi million company like Square using FSR 1 when FSR 2 is free to implement and has a permissive license (MIT) is embarrassing, zero excuses my dude.

get it through your thick fricking heads you fricking morons who have never even dabbled in game development.
it's so fricking easy to get a handle on your engine. it happens naturally. stuff like texturing, modelling and optimisation is universal basic shit that is always UP TO YOU.
with almost any engine, YOU are in control. that's right UE4 didn't make them create garbage textures and garbage environment models and a game that runs like shit. THEY DID IT.
they did it because they're inept morons and this is a rushed cash grab. it has nothing to do with the engine.
The fun in PC gaming is that you can disable or change each setting to see the results after unpausing. It's usually pointless shit like "Max" Godrays or "Max" Hair Quality that tank performance.
Even with a GTX 1080 I get at least 60 fps in modern releases by only selectively turning down graphical effects that aren't worth their performance hit and leaving everything else on the highest settings (textures, models, view distance, important stuff).
I would take performance over graphics any day of the week.
I would prefer a stable, and high, FPS over a game looking slightly better but can't even run at 30 FPS (like what happened with the shitty Luminous Engine)
Honestly, I'd usually say Performance, but if we are talking a stable 30 fps in Graphics, I may take it over performance unless I'm playing in real time mode. After all when you play this game you can basically soft pause the game just by selecting a command in the menu. With it working like that, I've honestly haven't felt the need for a solid 60 fps like I would with other more traditional action games.
Graphics mode always for me. Performance mode is a trap for autists in most games.
Both for me. Because I'm a PC chad.
Game looks better than this. Youtube lowers quality(always). Example:
>Set video quality to Auto
>It chooses 360p
>Woah this looks like shit!
Too much clutter and noise and too little stylization. This is not my Final Fantasy (I'll still play it because I can't help myself).
that channel is such clickbait low effort shit. Zero effort put into actually analysing the resolution and frame rate.

Its rubbish though. The video makes out like the 60fps mode is 1440p when its closer to 720p in reality
?
It is 720p just like XVI
its using fsr. fsr doesnt scale into 720p at 4k. performance mode is 1080p at best.
It is likely using Unreal's TSR
no its using fsr. you can tell by the shimmering on particles in every unreal engine game thats absent when tsr is used.
I don't get why japs aren't using FSR 2, same shit with 16, still using FSR 1
Rebirth was in development before FSR2 was even announced
I think you're spot on, I was trying to put my finger on why it looked familiar and yeah it's a super sampler on like, ultra performance
"1620-1188p"
Its not. Its 720p if not lower. It is extremely blurry.
no, that's just unreal's shitty TAA
This. Putting two versions of the somewhat-same scene together is low-effort as frick.
PC mode
yummy dev cum - SO TASTY
looks fine
PC mode.
I want 60fps for combat....and high graphics at all times....
WHY THE FRICK IS THIS A PROBLEM THEY CAN'T JUST DO!?
A FRICKING 2060 COULD DO THIS SHIT WITH EASE, SO WHY CAN'T A PS5 WHICH IS A CONSOLE WITH A 2060 IN IT!?!?!
Will it run at 720p just like XVI?
The power of the PS5 lol
XVI drops around 720 in like 2 instances of heavy effects during combat, for a couple of frames, it's higher than 1080p 99% of the time
>720p
PS5 trying to compete with the Switch in terms of resolution I see.
is 60fps really that important
I'm thinking of just running it in graphics mod

Why does every console game use fsr1 instead of fsr2?
It doesn't make sense, FSR2 it's officially supported on RDNA2 by AMD.
>no-devs pretending to be devs
many such cases

my Black person then
Imagine defending SE for free...
where are the digital foundry troony worshippers when we need them
Reddit Fantasy: Rebirth - Reddit mode
Performance mode is blurry as hell. No way that is higher than 720p. It's like the images gets plastered with vaseline.
if its like FF7R theres dynamic resolution which causes it to get blurry a lot
PC mode, as always
I wonder why they didn't switch over to UE5. I thought that engine was better for large scale enviroments.
Big corpos avert risk. Especially mid project risks.
Maybe for part 3.
Because the game has been in development hell for a decade, switching to UE5 would mean another decade.

Graphics on TV, performance when streaming to steamdeck.
Performance mode on my steam deck

ITS NOT A REMAKE
THERE IS NO ORIGINAL GAME IT'S A FIRST GAME
TIFA IS ITALIAN -ACK!!
It's honestly impressive how blurry the game looks.

Only details that spergs like you guys care about. I can't honestly tell the difference.
