Smash Bros isn't Street Fighter, their fans haven't been conditioned to accept going from 45 characters in one game to 18 in the brand new entry. so what, you're gonna cut like 3/4's of Ultimates 80 character roster and make 20 brand new Shonen Jump characters to add? and then you're still gonna ship with 40 less characters than Ultimate?

i don't dislike this, but i do think it'd be more realistic to just select Nintendo fighters who've already been completed for Ultimate, instead of adding any new ones. asking Sakurai to make 20+ new characters based on crazy ass anime powers alone seems like it'd be a heavy labor of love to tackle.
Krillin instead of Trunks hurts my feelings but i'll allow it cause Hinata over Sakura is a very based choice and so is Kenpachi over Uryu or Renji. i'd swap Toguro out for Midoriya and and BoBoBo out for Tanjiro. not a bad list, i might buy it. the Nintendo side is just a little shakey.
