      Boneworks maybe..?
Also Bonelab, by the same devs, this year

      >superhot
The VR version has been censored because the devs pussied out, pirate it if you really want it.

I didn't know about this and yeah wow that's a fricking shitty move, especially since it seems like they already had a toggle option for it.
but luckily you can grab the older version via the steam console: download_depot 617830 617831 1718632565497690274
Still I don't regret the purchase cuz all three superhot games were great

          >yeah wow that's a fricking shitty move, especially since it seems like they already had a toggle option for it.
Even worse, they cucked out on their own, and not because of woke outrage.
They literally self-censored themselves without any kind of external influence or pressure, which even some turbo leftist are not eager to do....

Wireless->you can play in room other than PC one
Really good built, a lot of morons break their wall but not controllers
Left controller will drift eventually, usually after 1 year of use(mine started drifting month ago, drives me insane)
Really not much to say, but also keep in mind if you don't care about Zuck Meta, you can just buy Virtual Desktop and firewall your Quest for good, it will be still possible to use it.

          >Wireless->you can play in room other than PC one
I heard there will be an Index addon for that.
Or maybe it's better to wait for the Deckard?

            Anonymous

If you are fine with Index-like prices(+wireless addon), sure, go ahead.
If it's your first time VR though, you would have less buyer remorse if you pick up good bang for buck headset, no matter how it will end.

              I guess I'll wait then....
I hope by that time SteamVR on Linux will be better... (yeah, I'm also a loonixgay, which means I have subpar support for VR, even from Valve hardware AND software.... kill me plz)

I plan to try Linoooooooox VR after getting Intel ARC GPU.
For now though with Nvidia GPU i had no choice but to move back to Windows for a time being(especially considering i use Quest 2, and ALVR Linux at that point was more like proof of concept)

                >I plan to try Linoooooooox VR
Good luck, I'm still waiting for it to get better.
                >after getting Intel ARC GPU.
I'm currently on AMD, but I'll keep an eye on it.
                >For now though with Nvidia GPU i had no choice but to move back to Windows for a time being
Yeah, no, Nvidia GPU with Linux VR have more problems compared to AMD.
                >(especially considering i use Quest 2, and ALVR Linux at that point was more like proof of concept
Reminder that ALYX is still NOT ufficially supported on the Index and has still few notable bugs, like subs not working in-game.

oh then I hope you have some monster hardware cuz you'll really need to compensate potential performance drops compared to running shit on windows.
that's likely gonna be hard cuz even with i7 8700k and rtx 3060ti, I have to run shit at mid to low settings to retain good framerates

                >oh then I hope you have some monster hardware
By the time Deckard comes out, I'll probably build a new PC just for that and Star Citizen

I have SkyrimVR but I haven't bothered to install it yet. Is it any different from modding regular Skyrim?

      What porn games?

Virt-a-mate, VR Kanojo, KoikatsuVR. I'd rather jerk off to regular porn though.

Modding skyrim vr is basically exactly the same but depending on your headset youll need to change the bindings it uses. I used a valve index and the modding community has turned the game into an absolute RPG masterpiece but there are bits and pieces that straight up dont work and modders sometimes dont cooperate. I liked the Experience mod but mods like that dont work in VR because according to the mod maker they would have to reverse engineer it all again. The vast majority of skyrim SE mods do work though but magic or archery is in my opinion the way to play as the melee combat is a bit dull with the wagglin but stealth gameplay is much more fun in VR.

Why don’t you just change the mod to you’re liking

            Anonymous

Anon if i was smart enough to do that i'd have already made my own mods. Install game>Put script extender in game>Put mods in game>fix load order>go in game>fix settings and play. Anything more than that and you're asking too much of me.

It’s not hard it’s literally like messing with mod files in your directory with some added 3d object placement trust you’ll have a way better time with mods if you know how to tweak them

If you can't be assed to mod skyrim again for VR, you can install FUS through wabbajack and have a basic modlist ready to go that you can add onto

Walkabout minigolf is fantastic, you can play the pirated version online but i ended up buying it on the sale because it's cheap and it's the updated version with all the maps.

i've been having a blast playing it with friends, also only one of the friends needs to have the DLC and everyone can play the DLC maps.

Blade & Sorcery is fun for short sessions even if it's still far from being a full game.
Pistol Whip is a good rythm game and a good workout.
Resident Evil 4 VR is a great port if you have a Quest 2
Trover Saves the Universe is a fun adventure/comedy game but to be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand it.

Into the Radius is supposedly a decent stalker-inspired FPS. I only played through the tutorial and died 3 minutes into the first mission. Seemed janky but good. You don't fight humans or mutants though, only some sorts of shadowy things.

why the hell is Blade and Sorcery NEVER on sales.
Is this the best melee VR game or are others good too?

pretty much the best melee experience right now. hellsplit arena is kind of close but weapon physics are bot as autistic and therefore less immersive.

You know the sale and current state of VR sucks when the majority of the best sellers are two years old minimum.

      1. It's still early access, and most devs don't sale during that unless they get desperate
      2. It's only $20.

Plus B&S modding is much further along and update 12 should be the final one before 1.0. Skill tree, crystal hunt progression mode. The visual overhaul they have already done for dungeons, canyon and citadel is great. Alyx tier? No but its pretty nice looking

Compound is a fun simple roguelite with satisfying guns. Just got out of early access, too. It's not on sale for that very reason, though.

Looks cool. Is there an objective in this game or do you just simply play to survive?

You get missions to go further and further into the zone, I've heard there's an ending, but IDK what it is. Story is definitely not very good or compelling, it's just fun exploring.
