There are so many portable console(s) for emulators with newer models get released all the time that it's chaotic. It also doesn't helps the fact that YouTubers who review that kind of consoles are divided when it
comes to reviewing of certain consoles. I was thinking buying Retroid Pocket 2+ but unfortunately you can only buy it from their official site and it takes months to get delivered (it's even worse with Greek
delivery services being garbage). So my question is: which portable console(s) for emulators would you recommend and they're already available in the market? If possible, consoles that are available at Banggood.
Here are some of my basic requiredments:
- Being able to be connected with HDMI cable at TV
- Being able to connect extra wireless controllers on tv
- Playing perfectly emulators for these consoles: GBA, SNES, Playstation 1
- Having the best performance possible for these consoles: Nintendo 64, Saturn, Dreamcast, arcades (including 3D arcade games from late '90s - early 2000s)
- Having easy-friendly interface and preinstalled emulators

Cellphone + your favorite BT controller. There I solved all your problems.
Yeah cuz carrying around both a cellphone and my wireless controller is so much fun and convenient.
In either case you are carrying two devices with you.
I'm not walking around with a DualShock 4 in my pocket, bro, not happening.
HDMI output where
is taito on pause? wtf do they do nowadays?
They've got arcades to run. They still do stuff with Bubble Bobble and they released a mini arcade last year that might get an add on soon. Their most recent announcement was a Rayforce series collection working with M2
Making shitty, overpriced sequels like Bubble Bobble 4 Ever, making good games that get ruined with expensive DLCs (like the Touhou Puzzle Bobble game on Switch)...Their only current good stuff is the Space Invaders games.
A Razer Kishi might work well, Just plug your phone in and just carry around like any other handheld they put out.
I get esl mistakes and typos but you don't just start a new paragraph mid-sentence for fricks sake.
dude i bought an RP2+ like 5 days ago and it's gonna be delivered on monday. it only takes months if you cheap out and use the chink delivery option instead of DHL. use code anythinginthisvideocouldbeacode to get $2.50 off (no i'm not joking, there are other codes that give you more off so i've heard but this was the best one i could find). $129 after shipping and tax to get a good machine, just do it man. i had the first one and it was awesome, this one seems even better.
In which country do you live? Cuz even in USA most customers wait for months. Unless they re YouTubers that get Retroid Pocket+ to review it.
I'm in the USA but I dont know what the frick you're talking about. the first one I ordered came within 2 weeks and this one shipped out a few days after I ordered it and is schedueled for delivery 7/11. you're only wait months if you don't choose DHL. most people just dont want to pay the 30-some extra bucks but who cares.
So...which shipping option exactly should I choose for fastest delivery possible? I don't mind paying extra as long as I get fast shipping instead of waiting for weeks/months like an idiot.
I just told you moron, choose DHL.
Though I have to add: DHL is only really faster for US customers. For EU customers it won’t really matter. Both will most likely take around 2 weeks to arrive.
That's the problem: I'm EU citizen. That's why I asked where you live since delivery isn't the same for all countries.
At least the console is now finally available for buying instead of having the weird "tba" release date (despite the fact that everyone could buy it).
I live in Finland (EU).
I’ve ordered from Retroid three times.
First time using the chinese option: 2 weeks.
Second time using DHL: 2 weeks
Third time is still on it’s way.
It took them 4 days after order to actually ship the packet, but I expect the actual shipping to take 1-2 weeks again. Things are already a bit better compared to the worst covid shipping troubles.

Did you buy it from their official site? Or from somewhere else?
yes, direct from them.
