Yea it's the GOAT. Love riding around and taking in the scenery.
Keep seething
I like the environment and what not but the storyline is israeli as frick and the online has israeli tendencies too. The kkk lighting themselves on fire to make them seem incompetent, there's Black folk everywhere and you treat them as equals, feminists that you're helping stage a protest. If the game was made by the same people as KCD it would be the best game in history.

your "best open world game ever" factually has shit combat, shit enemies, shit enemy variation, no bosses, shit controls and a shit boring open world.....
How can you have any of that in a fricking realistic shooter? > shit combat
It has the 2nd best combat in 3rd person shooter after max payne 3 > shit controls
They're fine with mouse and keyboard >shit boring open world
You never played it, it has the best open world by far, shitting on the mission design is perfectly fine because it's shit but the open world is simply the best we have right now.
>shit combat, shit enemies, shit enemy variation, no bosses
what do any of these things have to do with being a good open world game you absolute Black person moron? this is rockstar, not some weeb fromsoft shit.
I got the nexus day and night cycle mod, which customizes day length, but my rainstorms are still short as shit. I think the longest rain I’ve had was like 5 minutes. Is that just in new Hanover? Seems like it will rain more once I get to lemoyne
It's pretty boring, personally I enjoyed Subnautica and Stalker more. Sure RDR2 is technically impressive and has a lot of good detail but I got bored very quickly felt like I was mostly just aimlessly riding around between story missions. Game would have been more fun if it was an RPG and you could play as who you want to play as, not just Saint Arthur.
>Saint Arthur
I don't think you really got the point of the story. I'm always baffled where people say Arthur is a good man.
But anyway I agree with your other point about having your own character to play. I was hoping Online would be that but it's not really.
Now that Rockstar has confirmed they won't be releasing any more major updates for RDO does anyone know if there's a way to play Online more like single player? Arthur is fine and all but I wanna play my own cowboy and have my own stories and adventures. Does anyone have any experience with RedM?
I haven't finished the story, I'm only at the mission in the place after Valentine where I had to drive the carriage full of women through the town and I can't shoot anyone in town because Dutch says I have to be a good boy.
>not just anatgonizing people on the streets and your camp members >not doing illegal shit and being an overall dickhead Arthur for the BAD ENDING

It's a pretty good game, but the forced animations are irritating as frick.
Yes i get it, its a nice looking game, but i dont want to see the same fricking animations in slow motion a thousand times.
It really fricks up the momentum of the gameplay at times.
I tried booting it up on my Xbone X last night so my brother in law could play it, we had to update the console and game since I hadn’t used it in a long time, and then the console straight up shut down as soon as the game started loading into gameplay. Not sure if my Bone just needs cleaning or this game is just too much to handle. Or the Xbox is just a massive piece of shit and it’s a good thing I switched to PC.
I really want to like this game. It's so technically impressive, and cinematic but I just cant like it. It gets so boring quick and playing it feels like a chore.
I know exactly what you mean. First time I played it I gave up before I ever even got to the second camp in the story but I probably spent more than 10 hours playing it by just roaming around, hunting animals and just taking in the world and the simulation that Rockstar made.
I think it's one of those things where you're not really meant to do or see everything to get out of it what the developers wanted. Then again I get the sense that the Houser brothers and other leads at Rockstar probably don't even play games anymore they just make them.
>First time I played it I gave up before I ever even got to the second camp in the story
That's you being an ADHD moron. You should have just followed the fricking quest markers. Imagine oppositional defiance disordering yourself out of the best game ever made.
>You should have just followed the fricking quest markers.
I did that the second time I played it.
But I didn't even say getting distracted was a bad thing. I enjoyed it actually. It just doesn't really work well with the story and how it's told, it fricks up the pacing. In fact I'd argue that for the story and the way they told it this didn't even need to be an open world game. In fact I don't recall a single mission that benefits from the game having an open world. But it's a hell of a world they built.
The first time I played if I didn't notice it at all, I'm replaying it again for the first time in about a year and all the propaganda really stands out.

I watched the video a while ago and there are definitely some interesting points made. But overall I don't get the propaganda angle. It's not propaganda, it's reflecting the culture and attitudes of today's society. That's generally what good art does in some way.

>white people bad >black people good >indians good >feminists good
it's reflecting rockstar's leftist agenda
Main game >in gang >leader is a lefty that ends up fricking your whole gang over
Online >get to kill a feminists gang >get to kill a black gang trying to rob a train
Many more based missions and such. Only people who call Red Dead II "full on lefty" ignore many of the other missions.
>Red Dead Redemption 2 is still the best open world game ever...
FOR ME TO POOP ON!!
c'mon, only people in their 30's understand that reference
It's the information age. No references are unknown. Kilroy was here.

gta san andreas is better zoomie
your "best open world game ever" factually has shit combat, shit enemies, shit enemy variation, no bosses, shit controls and a shit boring open world.....
oh and forgot... no dungeons
>dungeons in a western game based on """realism"""

no bosses, dropped.

Elden shit has all of those lmao

Black person do you want aliens in your western games then?
>shit controls
on horses yes
Makes me angry Rockstar just admitted to abandoning RDO. Could've been such a good game.
Red Dead Redemption II was so good 99% of people who bought it didn't even finish the story.
Isn't that true for most games nowadays?
I got the nexus day and night cycle mod, which customizes day length, but my rainstorms are still short as shit. I think the longest rain I’ve had was like 5 minutes. Is that just in new Hanover? Seems like it will rain more once I get to lemoyne
What's 2nd and 3rd? And what makes RDR2 better than them?
not really a game. more a cowboy themed 3d diorama
days gone is a lot better modern open world game because you actually have to do stuff other than tap x
RDR1 is better
It's pretty boring, personally I enjoyed Subnautica and Stalker more. You might still disagree with me after you finish the story. But let's just say the games are called Red Dead REDEMPTION for a reason.
I'm one of those weirdos who really liked Micah and would have enjoyed befriending and following him.
Skyrim is better than both
Skyrim is so overrated
The best open world game is MAD MAX.

try being a little more subtle summergay.

saw this vid posted in a thread earlier about how RDR2 is leftist anti-white propaganda. pretty interesting watch

Probably my favorite series of all time. Including Revolver in this. Absolute masterpieces and each one is unique and spaced out enough.
I thought the missions and story were dumb but it's fun to dress up Arthur and go on hunting expeditions or to wipe out some camp full of enemies
I mean, it's well made but so goddamn boring. I've been trying to beat it for 4 years.
Is Ganker still too reddit to accept RD2 as open world ludokino king? Don't tell me Ganker still believes the b***her 3 is better
