OP, the game is unlikely to be done in the next two years, get it when it's out, do not reward this sort of bullshit behavior, play thief and it's fan missions instead, high quality guaranteed and it's all there
>gloomwood devs >lie about what you are purchasing when you buy the game >later reveal youre just buying one episode lmao maybe we'll finish the game later!!
>darkwood dev >I find a bug in the game and post it to darkwood steam forums >the developer adds me that night >he asks for a certain dump file >he fixes the bug and stays on my friends list forever
>grime lead dev >ask this lead dev directly to fix 3-4 things in the game because they are bad game design >dev agrees with my reasoning and fixes them, it was things like areas where you could fall without seeing that there was a pit, truly things that needed work >he listened to people who knew better and let his community help him better the game >and then came out with a huge expansion for free
they were intentionally deceptive about the development practices surrounding the game, what you are actually paying for with your money, and what the timeline was
they lied about several of these things in a combined way, i cannot remember exactly what it was, it was like 3 years ago now
i would not feel strongly about this for no reason, i distinctly remember it was something to do with the early access timeline, like they gave a completion date, but that was the completion date for the first episode or something and they just conveniently forgot to say that
>it was like 3 years ago now
game has been in early access for just over a year but they said something 2 years before that and "customers were deceived" when the game wasn't even available for purchase? yeah, you are moronic confirmed.

I had a great deal of fun but it is NOT done. Not by a long shot. Actually made me a bit mad how suddenly it ended and how early. I did most things and play time was like 3-4 hours. Ide wait another year or whatever otherwise its gonna be a one session kinda game.
It plays good but there's very little content for an immersive sim. I like New Blood but I fear they took too big of a task with this game and it won't end up that good. You just need more crew to make an immersive sim, idk why they don't hire more people at this point they can afford it.
cruelty squad was a single person project (I think) and it turned out good, granted gloomwood is a bit wider in scope but 4 people should be OK if they know what they are doing
Cruelty Squad is pretty small scope and mission based. I feel like they're gonna end up watering down the immersive sim aspects of Gloomwood to get it finished this decade and it'll just be a stealth game.
I really like it. I haven't played the city update yet. Not sure why I never got around to it
Waiting for it to be finished, maybe in 2027.
these

I'd be generous and give it till late 2031. Last update I know added like 30 minutes of content and it took the dev 6 months to get there
Just play thief instead
It's a ripoff and they intentionally deceived customers early on. Do not engage with them. They tricked people on purpose
buy Darkwood or GRIME if you want a good dark themed game
oh btw

Ah you're a loner, that explains a lot

wtf are you talking about?
they were intentionally deceptive about the development practices surrounding the game, what you are actually paying for with your money, and what the timeline was

that's lying to steal money. period
>just trust me, bro
you sound moronic.. the game was always said to be in early access and detailed what was in it.
>it was like 3 years ago now

demo has been out for three years (not him)
Most updates to Gloomwood are pretty good. They fix and add a lot to the game. Devs are working overtime. Don't listen to this moron.
Holy schizo moron
The personification of "Feature Creep". The guy continuously adds useless features to a game that could've been finished ages ago.
I hate the feel of the game. The main guy is a slow oldman who takes their time to backstab enemies and runs like a toddler
zoom zoom
how can i zoom when you run so slow. you sneak up and take outa guard and the other one runs at you and bonks you to death
yeah true, better stick to fornite
sounds kino
it's not meant to be a thief-clone, it's essentially a survival horror game.

they already have as many immersive sim aspects as Thief, if not more
is it out of early access yet?
