I played through all of Royal and only Kamoshida and Maruki were good
It isn't.
It's bright and flashy and just "heady" enough for morons to think they're playing something smarter than they are.
No wonder the trailers focused more on Kamoshida's palace.
I mean there's certainly the matter of not wanting to spoil latter parts of the game but generally yeah, after Kamoshida the game completely falls apart.

Persona (3 to 5, nobody cares about the first 2) is style over substance, and it's great in that regard.
It's a JRPG for JRPG-haters because it's shilled by many youtubers and e-celebs who hate JRPGs

I will never understand personagays. I think they mostly are teens who have played it as their first or second big jrpg and relate to the moronly simplified, annoyingly repetitive, story and characterts, I was like that once myself.
