>region based on old Japan
>robot pokemon like Magnemite and Porygon are still around
>Arceus smartphone
>pokeballs function pretty the same way as they do in the other games, even though Drayden talked about how people in the past had to befriend pokemon to fight alongside them because pokeballs weren't a thing
What even is the point of making a pokemon game take place in an older time period if you won't actually bother to change the gameplay at all to match the new setting/atmosphere?
they literally got warped in by the time distortions you stupid c**t! play the fricking games
>magnets are robots
You haven't played the game. All of that is explained in the game moron.
>b-but it's explained!!!
Still breaks the immersion.
>porygons appearing in gigantic spacetime rifts caused by the creation trio going crazy breaks immersion
quit acting moronic and contrarian for the sake of it
function pretty the same way as they do in the other games, even though Drayden talked about how people in the past had to befriend pokemon to fight alongside them because pokeballs weren't a thing
Damn it's almost like Pokemon is CONSTANTLY retconning itself because they never bothered to plan out a long cohesive story.
That was in unova, I doubt the whole pokemon world has the same technology
legends shitceus was a mistake
They had to make this game to remind the sub 80 IQ fans that the franchise is indeed a Japanese one because people unironically forget that Pokemon is a Japanese franchise.
>the very next gen is full of western designs or to appeal to them
>to remind
and it didn't work
My question is why didn't PLA include the Battle Zone island?
In my opinion PLA feels incomplete without the Battle Zone island.
>didn't play the game
The fire altar was where stark mountain sits in the future. It hadn't erupted to extend its landmass kids play the games, if you're not a moron child you'll know what's going on.
Gamefreak are masters of dropping the ball, haven't you noticed this yet?
>Hawaii region missing Bellossom, the hula Pokémon, and Phoebe
>Luchador & Ninja Pokémon in France
>Daimyo Pokémon in Spain
>Samurai, Knight & Kitsune Pokémon in America
Whoever implements which Pokémon go to what region really doesn't pay attention to setting or narrative AT ALL. The last time they did was fricking gen 3.
Don't forget Sun and Moon don't have Solrock and Lunatone in the regional dex
>dumbass never knew about the desert Easter egg
>pokeballs function pretty the same way as they do in the other games, even though Drayden talked about how people in the past had to befriend pokemon to fight
Not all regions got poke balls at the same time sinnoh and KANTOOO were the first
>robot pokemon like Magnemite and Porygon are still around
They only spawn in space-time distortions, that whole thing that the plot of PLA hinges on. The only point you have is Magnezone, who natively flies above the Coronet Highlands, which I took to be a sign that it's an extraterrestrial being who descended on Mt Coronet since it's the closest point to outer space in Hisui. Would definitely not be the first time we've had Pokemon from space.
>Arceus smartphone
The space/time-transcending god gives it to you after isekai-ing you back in time. As god, he could have made it whatever he wanted, so surely he designed it in the shape of a smartphone to make it easier for the zoomer to interface with.
>pokeballs function pretty the same way as they do in the other games, even though Drayden talked about how people in the past had to befriend pokemon to fight alongside them because pokeballs weren't a thing
If you compare it to real world Japan, the exposure to foreign cultures plus the emergence of early forms of modern technology could pin it as being anywhere between 100 to 300 years in the past. That easily leaves room for the pre-Pokeball era of history before the time of PLA that Drayden spoke of. You're basically implying that the industrial revolution is the only "past" that exists and nothing could have come before it.
You're an idiot.
You're a moronic shill.
>use surface-level evidence provided by the game itself to address anon's criticisms about the game's narrative/setting
>hurrrr shill!
Sorry, didn't realize this was a bait thread. Carry on.
>robot pokemon like Magnemite and Porygon are still around
Time distortion pockets happen. Not sure if it is explained but Dialga existing and the overall conflict of the game makes it make sense. Also autism for even Implying Magmemite is a robot.
>Arceus smartphone
I'll give you this. But Pokemon is suppose to be moronic like this with retconning and Multiversing. And an Arceus Phone is the problem?
>pokeballs function pretty the same way as they do in the other games, even though Drayden talked about how people in the past had to befriend pokemon to fight alongside them because pokeballs weren't a thing
If you've even cared, Celebi film confirmed these balls have existed in more older times. Not a bad assumption to make that these balls could exist in this time period. Considering they're handmade. Also vagueposting with a Drayven quote to prove a point is moronic when you consider he probably meant very, very prehistoric periods of the series.
Go back to the sharty homosexual.
>sharty
Where is the wojak itt?
>Arceus smartphone
A subtle reference to TempleOS
