The first game was utterly mediocre and boring, I don't even know who the hell it appealed to, so much so it even got a sequel and a bad VR game.
Playstation and Nintendo have pretty much different audiences. Not that many people have multiple consoles, tho there might be families with Switch + Playstation. Those are the only ones who will affect Spider-Man sales as the parents will consider should they buy a Spider-Man game that the dad might enjoy, or Mario game with local co-op that the whole family and kids friends might enjoy.
But, those aren't the majority. Most families have one or the other console, and the gaymers who have both consoles will most likely buy both.
Still Wonder will most likely steal all the discussion and fun compared to Spidey.
