I'd say 7 is the better game compared to 9. 9 just has too much holding it back that makes it a slog. 8 is complete trash though-- either you don't understand how junction works and the game is terrible, or you understand how junction works and the game is terribly broken.
Or you're a normal person and play the game normally. I understand how junction works, doesn't mean I'm going to grind spells at every opportunity. I understand how leveling works in every RPG, and I'm not grinding in any of them unless I have to.
