Imagine how good the game would've looked if Sony could make a good console worth buying and this didn't need to run on PS4. I'm hyped as frick and this is the first game besides GB Rising I'll be dumping money on day 1 for a long time. Have you played Persona 3 before? Then you can hold off on the remake instead of immediately chugging down $70 for what amounts to a presentation-boosted version with probably mechanics/Tartarus changes, you've seen this adventure before.

Relink it's cheaper, and 100% new. This is the 4th time they're re-releasing a version of P3 and the PS2 version isn't a super dated game like the PS1 version of FF7 was in the first place.
