I wish I still had that account, I even achievement hunted on it. Steam thankfully stays the same for the most part. Every time I come back it's at least decent enough and not too soulless.

    I miss the Flash Sales.
It gave me a reason to check the store frequently to see if anything I wanted came up.

      >when you went to sleep and saw a game you wanted was on flash sale

        I'm from Europe myself moron
I'd gladly give back refunds for having flash sales again
morons buying random shit and then expecting their money back because they didn't do their research deserve everything bad that happens to them

      hey moron
there are still great sales on sites like gamesplanet, gmg, fanatical who all work direct with publishers

Ok? What does that have to do with the topic on hand?
        >steam sales used to be good

Ok moron? Don't reply to me again you lowercaseBlack person

          you absolute mongoloid
steam provides refunds now, so prices are higher
third party sites dont have refunds, but have bigger discounts like steam used to

are you usually this stupid or do you just have to buy your favourite goyslop on steam so all your troony friends can see what flavour of the week garbage you bought?

Why do I need spend time on research while I can buy, try it out for two hours, and then refund if I'm not liking it? It's a more efficient use of my time than spending hour on the internet reading the reviews.

They don't do fun events anymore either... go through your queue and get a card.

And it's used to be 3 cards per day and now it's only 1 (and in this sale it's also bugged I think).

To this day I have never gotten a single game I am interested in from those queues. I do get to block games frequently though.

You don't buy games on steam, it's a one-time fee rent.

It has been many years since any good sales were actually on steam. Good deals are always on third party key sellers.
But try to explain that to steamdrones when they use unironc jesus allegory to worship the fat dude who doesn't make games.

  11. 11 months ago

    it more like
    >remember when you see your game 99.9% off in a flash sale just days after buying it for 30% off and you can't refund it?

  12. 11 months ago

I remember when the sales weren't just good, but had events too. Events that gave free games, worthwhile ones as well not shovelware trash.

  13. 11 months ago

I've been here since 2010 and I'm amazed at how many games don't even qualify as shovelware nowadays.
There is so much garbage clogging up the steam catalog that is worse than the runoff at the bottom of the dumpster

So far I only got nocturne and thinking of zomboid
