You think it's his actual favourite? He said he played them all but focusing on KH1 so strongly seems to me like it was done to be the safest choice, maximum nostalgia points.
For some reason I decided to go for the plat on the PS3 FM version even though difficulty trophies don't stack. Don't know what the frick I was thinking but I am not too proud to admit that I have made a horrible mistake.
It's not that bad, anon. You only have three difficulties and if you know what you're doing the game doesn't last that long.
Just enjoy the journey, it's simple and clean
You'll get them done, just take your time with it to avoid getting burned out. I have the PS3 Plat myself and it wasn't that bad. But then there's the synthesis grind
Good pun. That said I played Proud on 1.5 and it was a fricking toilet. The giant bosses like Cave of Ordeals and Ursula made me want to smash my controller. In fact, I genuinely have a mark on my wall from where I punched it when I got one shotted by one of Cave's offscreen lasers for the fifteenth time.
I got my platinum by combining the last three trophies into one run >do not change or add any equipment to your party >do not die >beat the game in under 15 hours

I think it has the most charm out of the whole series. It's also fundamentally a different game. It plays like a Zelda game where you explore and find treasure and solve trouble, along with real-time action. The sequels discarded the exploration elements and went all-in on the combat. The combat is a lot of fun but the worlds became very flat and shallow. Literally going from cutscene to cutscene.
I'd like KH4 to bring back the exploration elements.
No, you just play and see the worlds and characters in their own self contained stories
some moments maybe like "oh I remember that from the movie" but that's it, nothing vital for understanding the main overarching original KH story
>nothing fricking happens exceot for in the ending and hollow bastion >world designs are shit >disney is shit >”story” is just disney scenes with an OC standing there >characters are shit >original designs are shit >music is the worst of the series
Literally what does this game have going for it besides nostalgia?
Sakurai clearly agrees

KH2 should be almost as nostalgic (it was many people's first KH and the other pillar of the franchise) but it got almost nothing.
It is. Played through the whole series. Dream Drop Shit is the worst. Made me realize 1 is so good.

>the fricking gummi ship diagrams
No, I fricked up.

I'm only at the Cpt. Hook fight in playthrough 1 and I already want to throw in the towel.
I enjoyed 1, CoM and 2. In my eyes that's the whole series.
CORRECT
KH2 is superior combat-wise.
>combat
Doesn't matter for JRPGs and the combat in 2 is still meh
People just like it because they grew up with it and because it's "comfy", same with most JRPGs
2 is just better. The more interesting level design and simpler story don't outweigh how much more fun it is to actually play 2
Really? oh, guess I won't play the rest, I didn't like it.
It's true
Jesus this franchise must be garbage then. It's the only one I played and it's clunky, outdated and unpolished as frick.

Is there a list of Disney movies I have to watch to get all the KH references?

>nothing vital for understanding the main overarching original KH story
He's not going to understand that anyway as it's complete nonsense.
There's a reason people are so fond of Disney, old Disney moves were fricking great. Just watch them all
>nothing fricking happens exceot for in the ending and hollow bastion

plot actually makes sense
Another valid criticism would be
>not enough screentime for waifus
Flying around town is fun
It's so great how much dick sucking the first game got. Would've been awesome to see The 13th Struggle, The Encounter and The Tumbling, though.
2 was the best one.
