I really enjoy Skyrim VR with the Tahrovin mod list. Ordinator, conduit, weapon throw, realistic archery, and the other changes make it a really good time. It’s been my favorite game in VR. When I get sick of it I always end up coming back to it a few months later.

As a dungeon crawler I think it's great actually. The variety of gameplay styles the game allows for is awesome and it being in first person is a welcome novelty.
The writing, quest design and technical stability are garbage of course, but that's never stopped me from playing an APRG if the combat is fun enough.

You can kill things with summons, kill them with poisoned food, make them kill each other with illusion magic, knock them down cliffs, put a bucket over their heads and rob them then kill them, there are lots of things you can do.
If you haven't played Skyrim as an Illusion wizard you're missing out

Oblivion probably has the worst gameplay of any game that sold more than 500 copies. The combat is fricking horrible and you cant engage with the level up system without making the game worse. Its astounding.

I liked the world better in Skyrim.
In Oblivion the world felt separate from the lore in most cases.
I think it's kind of weird how people shit on Oblivion's scaling, why would you want your game to get easier as you progress? You just wanna make a shitty unoptimized build and be rewarded for it too? Filthy casuals.
The main gripe I have with it is that there isn't an option to redistribute your attributes so you can correct your errors.
