it had some unique elements to it. But i recall once enemies with guns showed up (and can shoot you THROUGH FRICKING WALLS) there was a distinct lack of quality to it.
I got super far into this game. I think about 9 hrs? I still have the same sitting on a couple of my vmu's backed up.
I keep telling myself go finish it but at this point I havent played it in 7yrs and have zero clue where im at in the story or wtf is even going on.
once you get past how its 90% jank its got an aight story and some of the situations are kinda spooky.
This game's OST is so surreal.
Hell the entire game is surreal but that's probably thanks in part to being done by the brunt of the Cavia team behind Drakengard

The early PS2 graphics are actually kind of charming. What I find hard to excuse are the bad voice overs.

Absolutely loved this game, but the final creditsn theme really threw me off. You go from this heroic theme to this weird 70s pop song.
I still find it fascinating this game has two totally different voiceovers between US and EU
I always used to see this game on the shelf at Blockbuster back in the day and always wondered how it was, is it worth playing these days?

Yeah go for it, it's pretty fun. I played through it a few years ago, got stuck at one really hard boss though.
