Capcom hates Mormons confirmed?
>lovely dinner
Literally "eat ze bugzs" slop
Look at this city slicker too good for some honest slop. Typical food snob. Don't you have a pride parade to attend to?
What was her problem?
ADHD
grown in a lab as a biological weapon without ever experiencing love and then she also aged rapidly so she had to go from being cute to being an ugly old crone at warp speed. i'm glad they put her in shadows of rose.
It's not supposed to be a scary game. They really drive the point home when you fight the old man in his garage and he starts doing donuts for no reason while you shoot at him. Then there's the chainsaw duel that feels like it's straight out of some low budget chinese cartoon.
>WHITE SOUTHERNERS SCARY!
Really Capcom?
>Black man breaks into a white family's home and is immediately killed
I'm thinking Capcom's pretty based
I haven't played this game for ages but wasn't only the son supposed to be a bad guy? From what I recall the rest of the family were all really good people.
nah they were all good people before eveline and the mold. the son in particular was going to escape that shithole and make something of himself which makes it even more tragic.
If I remember right, the son whose name I forget, Lucas? Had already killed someone and hid the body away before they ever came into contact with Eveline or the mold. I believe he was associating with The Connections or The Family or whatever one was relevant in RE7 before the outbreak as well.
I could be wrong though, it's been a bit.
>the son in particular was going to escape that shithole and make something of himself which makes it even more tragic.
did you even play the game?
>RE7 did a great job of humanizing the villains making them tragic figures. even the main villain Eveline is kind of tragic since all she wants is a family of her own.
>RE8's villain cast are all Saturday morning cartoon villains with basically no depth who are all just evil cause they are evil
>RE8s villains are far more popular than 7s villains
I don't get it bros.
RE7 was written by the dude who made Spec Ops the Line
RE8 was written by the dude who did Shadow of Mordor.
It's Resident Evil. The antagonists are meant to be hammy charismatic monsters with a touch of humanity. Capcom forgetting this is why remake Saddler's so boring.
>Miranda was another villain with potential to be humanized due to her motives.
>They make her generic and bland TWICE
Man SoR was such a waste...
In retrospect
Was the tanker level really that bad?
I liked it
yes, it is a slog
I liked the scene switch but the layout was not fun or interesting, felt very rushed compared to the rest of the game where the spooks and gameplay flowed more naturally
The wrecked ship gets too much hate. The dark atmosphere and non-linear approach was enjoyable. The salt mines were the worst part and was just a bland, linear trek to the end of the game.
It's the strongest horror segment in the game.
they turned you into mold
Why do you make such a stupid thread? please answer.
I am still seething vrothers
Picking Zoe should have been the canon path, why did they give us the choice just to turn her into a shiitake anyway? Was there originally supposed to be a more fleshed out path for her?
She had answers and she still had her head, unlike Mia who was completely mindbroken by black mold, picking her was the wrong choice only confirmed by what we later learn on the ship
7 does not properly build up to a reversal of picking Zoe on either end, ethan knows Mia's involved in something shady but it's not the dramatic break that would justify him abandoning his mission and leaving her to fate, nor does Zoe leave a strong enough impression for him to choose her over his wife. Noir's did that the dame gets what she deserves trope at the end of the movie for a reason.
>They are the bad guys
Except that they weren't.
Holy shit Capcom
I will not eat the bugs
