Your first priority should always be Jefuty's nugget to max out your damage for skills like collapse bombardment. Ignore the python, it solely exists to be the gun you use to finish off a guy that got left on 2 health.
Like I said, the mosin first because it has higher base damage, which is all that matters for surehit skills like steady shot, penetrating shot, and collapse bombardment. The latter being one of two of your go-to boss killers.
Mendo will probably figure out quickly, he's not stupid and has the anime soul connection thing with the real Jefuty. Plus it's still a happier ending than either Bakery Girl OR Girl of the Bakehouse. Plus sequel or DLC.

and Mendo realizes his jefuty is fake and searches for the real one
But maybe his soul connection doesnt detect the difference since Lucica also kinda is jefuty
I mean beyond the soul connection thing it is also plainly obvious that they're just different people personality wise, and remember that Mendo has memories of Jefuty from hundreds of timelines as well so he has much more experience with her than the 48 hours between meeting her and extracting in the normal timeline. And going by the old confidential files, MID eventually gets wind of the real Jefuty going around sabotaging relics and surely that will be an "um excuse me what the frick" moment for Mendo.

Well the main thing is that this game has no strategic layer, it's (mostly) linear with the missions. So more like Fire Emblem in that respect. But the gameplay in those missions is fairly reminiscent of those, yes. Maybe a bit more like Advance Wars.
It's the Druidstone kind of tactics, meaning you'll probably burning through your entire backpack and consumable inventory every mission.
Using scanners and shit tier turrets as cannon fodder for enemies? Why not.
Using deployable AP penalty terrain to frick with stealth mission patrol routes? Sure.
Using an armor penetrating rocket launcher to take out an especially annoying frick enemy? Hell yeah.
Stun grenade into gas grenades having enemies take up to 50% unhealable max hp damage?
Using trip mines and other mines to stall enemies long enough for your remote control bombs to come online?
Using shockwave bombs to move explosive barrels into enemies(to be fair this one has very limited use and is probably a bug)?
Forcing a monstrous enemy faction to be closer to the other enemy faction to have them fight one another?
It's super fun to the point where the actual moving and shooting is a bit limited to be honest. But just assuming you can move and shoot everything will not be enough by the time you hit the fifth or so level(after the tutorial's over)

If you built right you can actually one turn both phases without overleveling. You need some luck and a lot of properly setup turrents and full SP going into the fight though.

The displacement grenades are key to this fight. Also try to only burn the single flower tile that the cute girl is standing on because then you can just move her to another one on the next turn.

Was this patched to be easier or does she get a move in challenge where she burns all surrounding flowers once she recovers her aids speed buff?
yes she still does that, BUT during the transition from phase 1 to phase 2 it actually doesn't go to the next turn, it just gives everyone their AP back on the same turn. So the flower burning trait doesn't trigger.
You must have atleast two heavy turrets and 5 simple turrets before going in which with Mendo's help will easily do some 800 HP damage, Jefuty's support fire and Atena with Mad bomber and upgraded frags will get the rest of her HP
And after you down her the first time, she WILL waste a turn to set up a dash which is perfect for setting up RC traps and moving your turrets to frick her up after she finishes the dash
It's all about thinking ahead
I did it on challenge+. You have no excuse

It's a funny victory lap because you get some comically overtuned stuff early, including a 3rd gun for Jefuty with 10 range, but not meant to be an extra challenge.

It's fun to get OP and wreck stages that kicked your ass before. Easier to get achievements and collectibles that way too. If you don't care about 100%ing the game there's not much reason to though
I played challenge first but probably. You just load a completed save when selecting new game after you finish ch4. You don't even have to get the true ending or unlock ch5 first, so I don't think it's limited at all. Forgot to mention there's a higher upgrade cap for weapons as well.
i use this meme a lot, but this bullshit is literally impossible to do and get an S rank, are you supposed to get a tool other than the soporific dart in a later mission and come back? theres no other way
have 1 (ONE) character go to that blue tile 2 tiles left of Jefuty. The other two have to go in circles to dodge the patrolling commando until that one blue tile opens up again in the next patrol cycle.
Man I did a few levels of 2092R and it feels really different from the main game. The shorter ranges, shittier stats, everything feels uncanny. And this is coming from someone who beat the OG bakery years ago. It really gives a good perspective of how much RC improved on the original.

She has the burn-everything move even on normal.
She still has that move but for whatever reason she only ever destroyed the single burned flower tile.
I think it's because she's a dojikko.

There is a single tile gap on one of the patrols. You can also cheese it with gravel.

Inside of that building there's an interactable that removes all the guards for you for an emergency meeting
