whatever summons shouldn't use your characters stats anyway, nibba. they are divorced from your character, so they shouldn't do damage like xir.
>whatever summons shouldn't use your characters stats anyway
thats the point of my post >like xir
i have no fricking idea what the frick you are talking about
bunch of redditors and d2 gays complaining about 2 points.
1. "MY REALISM" they dont like how a sorc has to use a big axe or mace increase magic damage, but they ignore themselves using a Runeword sword or runeword Flail.
2. The fact that weapon damage is tied to skills means that it could be a problem like in D3 where the only meaningful increase in damage is a better weapon . But they are just b***hing to b***h. until the close beta starts. nobody has a clear idea of how it works. just leaked vids and screenshot. So we dont know the numbers and percentage of skills and items
but yeah, another day where d2 fans b***h that new game isnt d2.
D2 had most of the damage being tied to the character so you could experiment with a wide variety of builds.
D3 had most of the damage being tied to the weapon which killed build variety. They tried to fix it in RoS expansion by making sets+legendaries have moronicly high % damage boosts to skills but that also ended up a shitfest with little build diversity.
D4 is looking to have the same weapon damage system as D3 so players are expecting similar shitty build diversity
I fricking knew it.
Nah im off the ride.
Next up: No skill tree, pvp canceled, nothing but pantheon matters, chat and voice chat recorded, monthly subscription, auctionhouse is back, paladin is queer, open world is semi open, yagga yagga.
You can keep your shitty casual game.
Another good decision from the D4 devs, now the game will be easier to balance.
they've made nothing but good decisions for this game except for the cosmetic shop/battle piss of course.
How amusing
They could have innovated
They could have made advancements
They could have made it feel more like an RPG
But instead they choose to make Diablo 3 but newer, because they don't know how to do anything but repackage their old shit
Since the beginning they showed they had no fricking idea what they were doing.
If I'm not mistaken the moron responsible for the itemization is the same guy who did TW3 and CP2077 items back when he used to work for CDK. Blizzard hired this guy lmao.
>premium currency so they can israelite you >no paladin >shitty itemization >they are copying Lost Ark Korean P2W gameplay environment instead of being a ARPG
OH NO DPS TIED TO STATS IN AN RPG
THE HORROR!
reminder: Diablo was never good
What's the problem?
>spells

Ok? Go play that game then. It still exists
>still playing the same game 20 years later
hows living with autism shill?

Imagine being a late 30's blizzbuck that gives a shit about this companies games.

I fricking knew it.

Diablo 1 didn't have skill trees either, or explicit pvp mode (everyone could hit everyone at any point).

I wanna hear some mental gymnastics about how this makes it less of an RPG.
Since the beginning they showed they had no fricking idea what they were doing.

Why you gays wanna play this piece of shit?
It's better that they be tied to weapon damage than be static or tied to specific skill increases so they don't scale very well.
Game was DOA, that is long before any info was out - just by merit of being a nu-blizzard game.
