I still can't launch the game on Steam. No idea why, it just refuses to launch. I've tried reinstalling, verifying integrity, everything, and now my last resort is to download the cracked .exe and put that in there. Fingers crossed!

I used to get 40% CPU and 50-70% GPU just walking around the village, now it's at 30% CPU and 4% GPU

It might just be the Windows GPU usage statistic that is kinda fricked, there's a 30% difference between my current GPU usage in MSI Afterburner and Windows.

I did now a quick test run in citadel using my fps monitor. It's a map I used to get stutter especially around area 8. At least outside of a fight the 1% and 0.1% fps lows seem to be better but take it with a grain of salt cause I just quickly ran through them now and rotation the camera a bit. GPU usage is at 70 - 100% for me as it should be. Doesn't the game fully utilize your GPU?

I don't have issue with cosmetic mods but if you are using gameplay mods then using it from the get-go when you didn't beat the story mode and using it on multiplayer with people who you are not friends irl. I removed REFramework. Even did a clean reinstall as well, nuked everything in the game folder, and Rise still refuses to start
That's weird, after the update i had the same thing Rise kept booting in a black screen until i deleted all the mods then it worked.
That usually happens with updates.
If it doesn't launch there might be corrupted files, it's happened to me before and I had to fully reinstall.
clean your rise folder, uninstalling the game through steam do not delete the old mods when you reinstall it.

Has anyone actually played it now that denuvo is gone?
I used to get 40% CPU and 50-70% GPU just walking around the village, now it's at 30% CPU and 4% GPU

There was one area of the Flooded Forest that dropped to ~50 FPS every time. It doesn't anymore. Surely, this was purely a coincidence.
Your GPU display is probably bugged though, no way in hell would Denuvo account for 45-65% GPU load

It might just be the Windows GPU usage statistic that is kinda fricked, there's a 30% difference between my current GPU usage in MSI Afterburner and Windows.
it used to stutter like a motherfricker for a few minutes on loading in as well, on top of the compiling shaders smashing my GPU with a few hits of 100% usage here and there, now it does neither and the shaders compile faster
maybe my system just hated Denuvo

I did now a quick test run in citadel using my fps monitor. It's a map I used to get stutter especially around area 8. At least outside of a fight the 1% and 0.1% fps lows seem to be better but take it with a grain of salt cause I just quickly ran through them now and rotation the camera a bit. GPU usage is at 70 - 100% for me as it should be. Doesn't the game fully utilize your GPU?

Why does DRM exist in the first place? Sure I can acknowledge that it should check if your game is legal but that only should be done on the games startup, after that it should shut down it shouldn't be constantly checking thats what anti-cheat is for. All it does is punish the paying customers.
