Played it when I was 11 in 2010. Quit it around 2014, now only revisit it once in a blue moon and I literally only play on Super Nostalgia Zone and nowhere else. It's a disgusting shallow mockery of what it used to be, Erik.cassel's death opened the floodgates to the game being turned into Second Life with app store transactions and child-grooming roleplay places.
If you must play Roblox, stick to Super Nostalgia Zone. It's unplayable garbage otherwise.

i'm currently 22 years old and started playing for the first time a year ago, i had the same opinion as any common individual but i considered playing it because of how little resources it requires. i've been switching computers and haven't gotten a gaming pc again yet and roblox has many fun and simple games which you can turn down the graphics for and play anywhere.
as for the predatory scene i can understand the concern though i don't think that means one can't have any type of interaction with minors (i would just avoid any type of roleplaying games).
i recently came across the pro obby genre (pic related) which is pretty interesting and obviously not targeted towards children (as the like ratio is evidence). obviously you need to ignore some prejudices to get into roblox, but as i consider myself a true videogame lover i think it wasn't terribly difficult for me.
