Fantasy's been a neverending sequence of lifting shit from elsewhere since D&D first came out at least. GW ripped shit from everywhere to make 40k/Fantasy. Then Blizz ripped shit from them to make Starcraft, which led to Zerg being Tyranids but cooler, cause Nids were really goofy back then. Then GW re-ripped Zerg to make the current Nids.
>So, Game Workshop just plagiarized the Navigators of Dune to make this shit?
Anon, Warhammer 40k is basically a massive Dune ripoff.
Navigators, the space marines are somewhat a reference to the sardaukar, the whole God Emperor is a reference to Letto II
And so on, so forth.
I only picked Cassia because she was the best out of a ton of bad choices. All the girls I actually wanted to frick were unromancable or infected with IfIhavesexmysouliseatenbyadarkgodites.

You're autistic, go tell that ugly ass kid that gets bullied because of how ugly he is that he's beautiful and chances are he won't believe you. Now apply this to a mutant who knows she's going to turn into a fish monster later in life and that knows most people look at her with disgust and you'll understand why she has a hard time accepting it, especially since she can't see the future and for all she knows the instant her mutations get too ugly you'll dump her

So this description of Rogue Traders from the TTRPG is what makes me like the concept more than DH.
>The bearer of a sacred Warrant that empowers him to journey beyond the boundaries of the Imperium to trade, explore, >and make war in the God-Emperor’s name, a Rogue Trader is a unique figure in the grim darkness of the Imperium. He >may be a newly entitled power on the rise or hail from a long lineage of nobles and voidfarers, but all bear their titles >with pride, striking out into the unknown in search of fortune and glory. A Rogue Trader is a power unto himself in the dark >voids, master of all he surveys―at least as far as his force of arms and sharpness of wits can press the claim. A Rogue Trader >can be many things but whether standing as diplomat before a planetary ruler, cutting a shadowed deal in a station undercity, >bellowing orders amidst an armed host set upon plunder, or striding the bridge of a mighty starship, they remain one thing >above all—free.

Not all Warrants have been granted by the E in the history. High Lords grant them whenever there is a need, or as a political tool, or because they feel like it.
I thought the reason an RT is so high up is because all Warrants are signed by big E himself. They're holy relics as much as a document.
Yes and no. In the tabletop, the Warrant's age determines its prestige, although each technically gives the same general powers to its holder. But each document is unique in that it stipulates the rights and responsibilities of their holder. The earliest ones granted by the Emperor were the broadest, and the later ones have all sorts of clauses on what the holder can and cannot do. And of course, dynasties holding the older Warrants look down on the younger upstarts.
Iirc then the first round of warrants were signed with a drop of Big E's blood. The warrants signed since the Heresy obviously aren't signed with that.
Ours is probably one of the holy ones though.
that makes it even dumber that Theodora kept it on her ship

It might make sense that she's paranoid because the Inquisition keeps fricking her and she doesn't want them to get it if she leaves it lying around at home.
>Ours is probably one of the holy ones though.
I don't remember when exactly it is said in the game (probably when you meet with Argenta in the Warrant Chamber), but the von Valencius Warrant is definitely one of those signed by the Emperor himself.
Sure, as long as nobody powerful enough wants to check it. But losing the Warrant of Trade is a massive deal, so sooner or later, someone in the Rogue Trader's dynasty snitches to Administratum, or the Inquisition or whatever.
It's kind of crazy that Theodora decided to carry the Warrant around on board her dinky little escort ship. Lose the ship and you lose your entire dynasty. Warrants are usually stored in some secure and shielded place under tight guard. The oldest ones are stored on Terra. After all, it's the source of power for the Rogue Trader's entire empire. You really don't want to carry around like a McDonald's gift card.

Owlcat specifically said they added options they had no intention of including into the game, so no, they weren't going to add a Wilcer romance, just like how they weren't going to add extra mythic content as DLC
For WOTR Owlcat made a poll to see if people wanted them to add romances with all ready established but minor npc's or if we wanted new characters to romance. So there is hope that she will become romancable someday.
The buckbreaker of waifugays was already in development long before that poll was made

Is Yrliet brain damaged?
I get Idira being the moronic little sister that you have to tardwrangle away from sticking her hand into a blender, but what excuse does a 500 year old elf have?
please understand that elves are moronic and some are in a state of arrested development, so it takes them 500 years to unedrstand the same concepts that take humans 15 years
Yrliet is the equivalent of an Eldar college student who dropped out in order to dodge her responsibilities, went abroad to 'find herself', and then when she came back her entire neighborhood had burned down with a 90% casualty rate. She's an idiot hated by her own people for how stupid, immature, and selfish she is by Eldar standards.
Her Eldari arm is more slender than a human arm, so she can naturally reach even futher into the blender than Idira can. The curiosity is simply overwhelming.

She didnt trust the RT. Considering Theodora was the reason her entire craftworld was destroyed and the protagonist also has a shard of said craftworld in the trophy room are you really surprised she doesn't trust your intentions enough to give you all the information. Regardless of what her intentions were, they were clearly NOT to have everyone get captured to be tortured, considering she too is subjected to this.

I vaguely remember something about the Farseer's seeing a vision of the ship causing the destruction of their craftworld. So they decide to blow up the ship to protect themselves, but the debris from the ship hit the craftworld and infected it.

Yeah but from the description it sounded like the ship was just a derelict one with the only intention being to crash it in to the craftworld and infect it. So either way they didnt exactly attack Theodora first, she instigated it because she's a full on heretic.

How does that make it worse? The eldar barely remember fighting the C'tan. It's told as myth and legend for them. They wouldn't know how to handle something based on C'tan's reality manipulation powers. Keep in mind C'tan's powers are entirely within the material world while eldar (and the great ones before them) were instead masters of the imaterium
5 months ago
Anonymous
Anon that's not how that is at all. The Eldar VIVIDLY remember the threat the Necrons pose due to recalling the War in Heaven even as a legend. From the very outset the Necrons were supposed to be rivals to the Eldar first and foremost BECAUSE they're two incredibly ancient super-powers who remember fighting each other so long ago. Even before the Necron rewrites they would still treat Eldar with extreme prejudice.
The entire fricking plot of this situation is moronic and screams "We wanted to put an Eldar in but didn't really know how, so here's a dead Craftworld".

They're not dealing with Necro tech, it's a goddamn C'tan powered tech virus. The eldar wouldn't know how to deal with that fricking shit.
Heck, the Old Ones didn't know how to deal with that fricking shit. The C'tan absolutely annihilated the Old Ones. It wasn't a close war at all. The mastery of the immaterium and the webway didn't protect them. You really think that something that would have likely given the Old Ones trouble, a minor craftworld that was by Yrliet's description already stagnant would have been able to deal with? Maybe if it was one of the major ones. Even then I doubt it.
Anonymous
Was it the C'tan/Necrons who defeated the Eldar/Krork/Old Ones, or the other way around? ALl I know is that the Old Ones are no longer a thing, the Eldar became degenerate, the Krork became orks and Necrons got pissed off at biotransference and bound the C'tan before collectively going to sleep 60 million years ago.
Anonymous
The Old Ones absolutely obliterated the race that would become the Necrons in the first round. But then they made contact with the C'tan, went through the ritual that turned them into the Necros and renewed the war. Round 2 was not close either but the other way around. C'tan were absolutely leagues above the Old Ones. Only reason the blowout wasn't bigger is that the C'tan can't into the immaterium/warp, so the Old Ones had the webway at least. But it wasn't enough.
So no, Crudarach would have been been able to cope with that virus. Heck I don't think they ever truly understood what was fricking them truly, and that's also understandable.

I thought Necrons went to sleep because the Old Ones’ defeat freed all kind of nasty Warp entities like the Enslavers and the plan was to just sleep while the galaxy was ravaged, did that change?

No, they went to sleep because they and the galaxy had been devastated by the war so they want to wait out the Eldar and the Ork

>did that change
It did, most recent version is that they buck broke the OOs and the C'tan but had zero chance to defeat the Eldar, especially with the Enslaver plague going on. So Szarekh decided to just wait since for the Necrons it would be just a matter of closing their eyes and opening them a moment later.

They figured that fighting everything to claim supremacy would be more trouble than it was worth, and that any mortal empire would eventually fall. So the Silent King decided that since the Necrons are functionally immortal they might as well just wait for a time where there is less opposition and claim the universe then.
Anonymous
They killed and ate about 90% of the old ones, before Kekorach tricked the C'tan into fighting each other, giving the Necrons the chance to get revenge and shatter the C'tan. The Silent King(Leader of the Necrons) then ordered his race to hibernate for millions of years. The Krork who grows stronger and smarter the more they fight, then didnt have anyone to fight since the Eldar keept fricking off via their webways everytime the Krork attacked them. Leading to the Krork degrading until they became the Orks.
The last surviving Old Ones are believed to have been killed by the Enslavers.

I did not pretend to be Fidelio. Figured out everything with the servitor, donated the inheritance to the granddaughter, dad tried to kill her for it and the servitor stepped in and murdered him.
>pretended to be Fidelio >got the inheritance
Was this the right decision? I've read something about giving it to his granddaughter if you don't pretend but she also becomes the target of the people who tried to kill RT. Is this a better outcome, kind of don't want to replay the whole thing to find out?
Same but I talked to the girl and could choose to hand it to her with priest helping her (and dad got killed by servitor for trying to take girl hostage and people theorized the servitor was Fidelio). Ending slide was priest getting the girl to invest in a voidship and things went fine.
No, I talked to her at the funeral where she was hiding. Got baited into the trap, came back, and had the option of saying the girl was the only one who cared about whatshisname so she should have it.
>Repentance was the name of a ship he boarded >Killed the crew in very inhumane ways, the Captain was burned alive while his wife was forced to watch >Said wife's last name was Fidelio >He turned her in to a servitor, removed her pleasure center but made sure to keep her memories intact >Had massive regrets over this before he died, hence why the granddaughter says he was always sad when it was mentioned later on >RT can figure all this out, and either put the servitor woman out of her misery iimmediately, or donate the inheritance to the granddaughter >If you do this before putting the servitor out of her misery the dad of the granddaughter triies to kill her at the funeral >Servitor steps in to kill the dad, dies in the process >girl is taken in by the chaplain to be raised and protected
I figured everything out and then gave Fidelio the revenge that she deserves. I let the kid and grand kid flee because they were not involved then proceeded to kill every fricking pirate prostitute in the area. I planed on giving the inheritance to the grand kid but the game did not let me so I got it for free.

Big E promoted peace and integration of Xeno's into the imperium. This is literaly cannon. One of the original jobs of Rogue Traders was to make first contact with Xenos and figure out if they could be absorbed or if they were a threat that needed to be wiped out.
>Big E promoted peace and integration of Xeno's into the imperium
BULLSHIT. The entire fricking POINT of the Great Crusade was to reunite humanity and exterminate ANY and ALL Xenos threats.
Frick your homosexual LGBTQ feminist rewrites MOTHERFRICKER.
Using an Eldar webway for your own purposes under their nose isn't necessarily acceptance/approval of the Eldar. If using your enemies shit to further your own goals works..
Yes and part of a Rogue Trader's job in those days was determining whether a given Xenos races they encountered was or wasn't a threat.
That's literally in lore propaganda. Emps knew how the immaterium worked. He wanted peaceful friendly Xenos alive because their altered mindsets were vastly more powerful at fixing the immaterium than just making more humans.
You're wrong. Both the Imperial Truth and the Imperial Creed don't say Xeno have to be exterminated, necessarily.
Both are very clear and what they state is >The galaxy is the demesne of Mankind
That's all. That's the only fundamental rule. It's just that Xenos are 99.9% of the time never going to accept this. You think that the Eldar from Biel-Tan or any Necron or the goddamn Orks are just gonna accept that Mankind is the ruler of the galaxy?
Threats. Not any and all Xeno. The primary goal was to reunite humanity. The Primarchs integrated plenty of xeno races into the Imperioum even before Horus was named Warmaster.
Feel free to prove me wrong, but I know you can't. Now repeat after me >The galaxy is the demesne of Mankind
That's the rule. Xeno genocide not required. Can you repeat it shitposter-kun?
He is right though. The Great Crusade was to exterminate all alien races who didn't immediately agree to be second class citizens and give up their worlds to mankind, which was all of them, and bring rogue human worlds into the Imperium/Imperial Compliance. The Rangdan Xenocides were a thing. Fighting orks and eldar were a thing. Just because the Imperial Webway used part of the Webway doesn't mean he liked the Eldar. They were simply tools and he would have killed them if they tried to interfere with his plans.

To be fair the Rangdan Empire, was a massive hyper aggressive slaver empire, that was almost matching the Imperium in power. If the Imperium hadnt genocided them, then they would have continued to enslave other races until they could take over the Imperium.

That's what I heard too, plus there were ideological complications which warranted their extermination. But I haven't really read the HH books so I don't know much about it. The Rangdan Xenocide happened way before the Horus Heresy. It is (alluded to be) one of the reasons for at least one of the missing primarchs.
That being said there's other alien species that the Imperium is largely fine with the Jakero for instance, and Horus was completely fine with incorporating the Interex with their sizeable Kinebrach population into the Imperium as well.

>The Great Crusade was to exterminate all alien races who didn't immediately agree to be second class citizens and give up their worlds to mankind
So basically the other anon's right. Xeno genocide is not a necessity. It's just no Xenos race will in general accept the tenants of the Imperial Creed/Truth.
But theoretically they can't. If they couldn't then sanctioned Xenos couldn't even exist as a concept.
That's literally in lore propaganda. Emps knew how the immaterium worked. He wanted peaceful friendly Xenos alive because their altered mindsets were vastly more powerful at fixing the immaterium than just making more humans.

Kroot, Jokaero, Demiurg, Kinebrach All have planets inside the Imperium and coexist. The main thing is that they all xeno races inside the Imperium has to be part of the Imperium. Since forming an empire within the Imperium is tantamount to heresy.
During the great crusade it was mentioned at several points that at least Lorgar, Fulgrim and Horus all had diplomatic meeting with xeno races. With Lorgar even deciding against making a Craftworld into a protectorate, but decided against it because he found them too fricking arogant. Also Sanguineous had atleast one peacefull meeting with the Silent King.
>writes them off completely
He was on a schedule though, and had to break the Orks on Ullanor before they hit critical mass and actually threaten the GC.
There was also the Rangdan shit.
Theres allways overzealous people promoting xenocide. But the there is also plenty of smaller xeno civilizations that live peacefully inside the Imperium and follow their laws and does trade. Theres also plenty of other minor spacefaring races, where the standing order essentially is to not interact or trade with them, until an Ordo Xenos Inquisitor or a Rogue Trader has checked them out, and determined how viable coexistence is.
We just rarely hear about it, since 40K by its nature tends to focus on war and other armed conflicts.
>Big E promoted peace and integration of Xeno's into the imperium
Are you fricking high?
The Emperor SPECIFICALLY TARGETTED any Humans who were coexisting with Xenos. There was an entire planrt where Humans and Eldar were living peacefully, and he specifically sent Vulkan and fricking Konrad to massacre everyone there.
Why would they rewrite that though, politics aside. wasn't the plot point that both Big E and Modern Imperium's ideas were evil and foolish in the long run thus caused more harm than good.
Because Big E wanted a rationalist atheist society and progressives can't bring themselves to portray that as capable of being bad.
A nice thing about 40K was they rightfully portrayed both authoritarian religious nutjobs and authoritarian atheist nutjobs as equally bad, but shitlibs gonna shitlib.

Well now he doesnt have a choice, he's stronger than the chaos gods and anathema to everything in the warp. The big 4's gambit failed during the Heresy and now they've set themselves on a path that can only lead to their destruction once big E has enough of their shit.
>virtue-signaling re-writes
Anon they literally went and decided that the Scattering of the Primarchs was a result of a woman moment. Not some Big E keikaku, not the Big 4 meddling, just a woman being a woman.
In fact, they went on and retroactively added even more moronic women to the cast like Kandawire and Astarte who tried to pull the plug on the GC and the Astartes project but then of course it didn't matter because Big E saw it coming and already had back up plans.
Reminder that humans absorbed into the Tau empire will never get to frick a Tau girl because of the caste system.
You have much better chances just being a good ol' IG guy and getting a cute Tau wife post battle. You know if the Ordo Xeno don't find you.
Actual best bet is get involved with the local politics in Tau border space and frick the cute water caste girls they send to seduce the men. Just be sure not to simp.
Yrliet's autism is outstanding.
It really is a shame about the negative points to her character. Because she's got tons of really good bits throughout the game. And her voice actress did a damn good job (not as good as Idira though, frickin how she ended up with the best performance is beyond me)
There is no logical reason for Aeldari and the Imperium not to ally each other at this point considering how many other threats they have to deal with.
Which is exactly why they ally with eachother from time to time.
Also, there are plenty of reasons, like revenge for all the genocides that both factions have commited uppon eachother.
Distain for lower beasts, jealousy of superiour beings, greatly opposing cultures etc.

At least girlyman is less moronic and works with them. Much to the horror of people who think everything has to be grimdank all the time, even at the expense of logical and interesting storytelling.
>Get to act 5 >Only barely got to rank 3 Dogmatic >Highest reputation with a faction 20 >Only lvl 47
Considering the game is pretty much shouting that this is the final part of the game. How the hell do you actually max out ranks?!
For factions, I tried focusing on Drusians, always sold junk to them first before I sold the rest to other factions.
For Dogmatic, I did also mix in some heretical stuff. So I can see me hitting rank 4 at least if I only went for Dogmatic.
As for levels, I missed a LOT of companion quests.
I couldn't find heinrix in Commoragh, so I missed out on his quest.
I missed out on Ulfar because apparently you only get dialogue options for him to join if you act like a submissive littel b***h to the heamonculus.
I missed out on Idiri xp because I gave her to the inquisition.
I missed out on Jae because I didn't want to give official trade licence to a pirate. And also I killed her when I found out she was a traitor.
I missed out on whatever the deldar companion is because I killed him in the arena.
I missed out on Pasqual's final mission because I couldn't find a way into the lift.
>Ulfar
He seems kind of broken and bad to begin with so its not a huge loss.
In addition to not having any sort of HP or DR boosting aside from his second wind ability in order for him to actually compensate for being 2big for cover, his bolt pistol seems to occasionally decide it's a two handed ranged weapon so that he cannot fire it in close combat and his special charge will sometimes leave him a space away from the enemy or not actually perform the attack potion
>I was higher than that
Not him, but I just finished clearing the palace after the Drukhari assault and I'm 108/40/0 D/I/H. Every location visited. Where the hell are the points?
Seeminlgy, wait for Owlcat to get their head out of their ass and patch it. For instance, the latest patch halved every faction rep requirement, and increased the conviction points every single dialogue choice gives you.
So what the frick is a Halo device? I know what it does, but why? It’s not Chaos-related going by what I can find on Lexicanum, is there anything at all known about their makers?
>I know what it does, but why?
Because Warhammer 40k is, more than anything, meant to evoke timeless fears and hopes that stories are meant to explore. Halo Devices are nothing more than the catalyst by which somebody can yearn for immortality, and become a monstrous Thing because of it. As another anon said, it's meant to be vampirism mixed with werewolves and Elder God mythology. If you are meant to visualize the Calixis Sector as Europe and the Koronus Expanse as the Caribbean, it's the equivalent of a conquistador returning to the Old World with a strange bauble he recovered from an Aztec temple, and it offers eternal youth at a terrible price.
I feel like the rogue trader system is needlessly complicated. Do I really need three dozen possible abilities per archetype not including psycher/navigator?
Can I really romance a cute elf girl while playing as a human male in this game? Female elves are built for human men. I want to play out this fantasy.
I found it very good but it suffers from two major negative points She WILL betray you and you can't avoid it. It's a whole lot of misunderstandings but still a betrayal and very hard to forgive in character, and sours it a bit. I'd also argue the lack of physicality is a negative point. She doesn't really try to change for the RT as much as the RT does for her, basically.
> Argenta has 350+ BS by the end of round 1 and it keeps increasing > can point at any enemy behind full cover at the opposite end of the screen and get 8/8 critical hits every time
What is recoil ?
>Fighting some bloodletters and CSM after doing deadly warp travel option >Abelard is holding frontline in front of a set of stairs >CSM walks up to abelard, gets parried and ends his turn >Abelard succesfully pass check on Thunderhammer shove to push CSM back >Game gets stuck in slow motion for almost a whole minute well CSM SLOWLY slides down the stairs well kneeling
It's right after the second arena fight if you spare and recruit Marazhai
She basically tries to tell what a terrible idea it is to do it and he says that to her.
I just realized why gays troons and women infest these communities guys... because there's a record, a history so-to-speak that they CAN "correct the book on"
Because most of his frick ups were the result of him trying to do the right thing, unlike most of his traitor brothers. His frick ups were generally a result of him being too fricking arrogant to listen other people, which caused him to double down on his mistakes until he landed in a position of either Chaos or death.
yeah the game is fricking moronic and it gives you random bullshit numbers on your skill checks, but some of them inherently work and some of them inherently fail. None of the initial choices matter except they give you injuries when you fail. The last choice I succeeded with the toughness check.
No but I'm pretty sure there's something weird about how it calculates them. I missed something by 1 several times and kept dying and after a couple tries I lost almost every single check and mainly just passed the medicine check at the end and that was enough to win.
Should I turn Heinrix into an Officer instead of a Warrior? It's not like Cassia uses a lot of Officer stuff anyway since she's broken as a full on Navigator.
Unless it's an overwhelming advantage Tyranids get stomped. Hive Mind sensing that a planet is chock full of sleeping Necrons is enough to make the hive fleet move the frick on.
Its hinted that one of the reasons that the Necrons are waking up in present time, is because the Silent King encountered the Tyranid in his 60(or so) million years travels, and booked it back to known space to prepare for their arrival.
Since the ultimate goal for most major Necrons is to become mortal again, the tyranids eating all organic matter in the universe, is obviously a big problem.
You just KNOW that they are going to do to 40K what they did to DnD. Guilliman and Yvraine are going to marry and become the "New" Emperor and Empress starting a new faction in the Imprium where they fight back against the fascist xenophobic bigots and bring peace and love back to the galaxy.
Take your meds, Yvraine along with her faction are soft-locked and completely forgotten.
And Guilliman now mistrusted by the most of the Imperium after Godblight
Not him but what happened to make the people distrust Guilliman? I heard he got empowered by the Emperor and fricked up Mortarion + part of Nurgle’s domain, that should count for something if he’s willing to go for propaganda. Or did people learn about Imperium Secundus?
>Not him but what happened to make the people distrust Guilliman?
When Bobby woke up his first order was to seal Macragge oldest library. But when durring Plague Wars one book slipped and big-big surprise it was historical record of Bobby's little naughty secret
Also, half of the Imperium practically taken by Lion

That's not even a secret, people found out about it during the heresy and Sanguinius explained the reasoning behind it, followed by them putting those plans permanently on ice. I don't see why anyone would be upset over them making plans to unite the worlds under the assumption Terra and the Emperor were dead.

I'm sure you could understand the ramifications of the Imperium and especially the Custodes finding out about Gorillaman's "well it wasn't heresy you see, I'm a good guy" gamer move.

Again, what fricking ramifications? Has anyone actually been implied in text you gigantic homosexual?
Do you really think GW would EVER turn their currently space marine poster boy evil or in way portray him negatively? They wont do it to Lion and they don't do it to Girlyman because that would send Timmy into a frotting rage and he'd stop buying space marines.

They really won't. It'd be daft for sales.
In a thread where everyone claims Argenta's not a romance because of GW meddling, saying they'd do something like THAT is baffling. THAT'S the sort of shit that GW would never permit because that's actually something that could hurt tabletop sales. Argenta being a romance is crumbs compared to the impact making Bobby even slightly bad could have.

Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines, also empire builder and organizer extraordinaire. During the Heresy they were cut off by a giga warpstorm, he thought that shit was lost and the Emperor died so decided to enact a contingeny plan to save mankind/the Imperium and declared establishing his own empire, Imperium Secundus with Sanguinius being the CEO and the Lion thinking it was heresy.
But then the storm cleared, the idea got scrapped - Roboute even considers it his biggest frick up - and they legged it towards Terra.

The last thing with Yvraine I recall is her right hand man saying she's becoming Guilliman's lapdog and her getting mad because she knows there's truth to it. Outside of that thanksgiving meme image there's been nothing suggesting they're going to frick, she's just doing her own thing and occasionally helping and hes trying to unfrick the Imperium while dealing with the high lords and Ecclesiarchy being homosexuals, and his traitor brothers trying to frick with Ultramar.
Why didn't Owlcat just do a Warhammer Fantasy CRPG, GW cares much less for that IP and there would be barely any restrictions/rewrites regarding plot.
Plus you can do a lot more with the setting itself, since it the WHFRPG it's mostly average joes interactiong you don't need to be Rogue Trader tier to have freedom in Fantasy World to do shit.
There was no restrictions placed here, people need to stop giving Owlcat that excuse.
GW doesn't care about video games unless it hits Dawn of War levels of big.
>Why didn't Owlcat just do a Warhammer Fantasy CRPG
Too close to pathfinder in terms of looks I suppose, and also the fact that it's a small minority of people that actually give a shit about wh fantasy.
>muh restrictions/rewrites regarding plot.
Why would you believe them? They lied about Amiry. You literally can romance iconic characters in WOTR, it's just that Owlcat didn't want to make certain characters frickable.
Owlcat literally lies to everyone's faces about their reasons for not making certain characters frickable or not making changes to the ending slides. Like motherfricker, they stated that adding a more player-arue-centric romance ending slide would be too much work. 3 sentences at the ending slide is "too much work" for them.
>Games Worskhop to be overly controlling
That's old GW. Besides, if they were overly controlling we most definitely would not have the Yrliet "romance" since it's wholly unprecedented and is considered gigaharam in general.
No, the two or so minor tidbits about half eldar that spawned over more than three decades - and have been utterly retconned - do not count.
GW is only autistic about things that could potentially impact the tabletop sales. RT won't impact those at all.
The only thing I can believe GW told Owlcat is to have a space marine companion. I imagine that's really the only thing they asked and Owlcat prolly would have done it anyway.
Is there anything I can do about the Scrapcode thingie on Foulstone? Got debuffs from that and the Word Bearers after I legged it there for some event.
Also thank you Owlkeks, Janus projects are still jumbled, seeing how some Mechanicus project requires Dark Sages (aka tard mechanicum) instead of the Admech one.
Does Heinrix even need Willpower for anything but his healing abilities? It seems that most of his standard psyker stuff scales with Psy Rating instead.
Have Lion and Guilliman even meet each other since coming back? Lion is probably going to be pissed since he was firmly against the chapters idea and was both glad to hear he's not the only Primarch and furious that Guilliman went ahead breaking down the dark angels.
They have not met yet. Lion's response to finding out Guilliman is alive was relief that he wasnt alone. They might've had their differences in the past, but my guess is they will hug when they first meet.
Lion is the oldest and has been stated to be the most like the Emperor out of all of the Primarchs. So hopefully he will decide to take a supportive big brother role and be a rock for his little brother.
He also mellowed out a bit and realized he was a bit of a c**t before. But he's still going to be mad as frick about Guilliman making the legions into chapters.
Rogal Dorne's space marines generally comes in two flavors: Fortification, and the Black Templars who are ultra aggressive crusaders.
Lions: Super paranoid space marines.
Ferrus: Super Cyborg space marines.
Corvus: Stealth ninjas wearing jetpacks.
Vulcan: Friendly blacksmiths wielding flamethrowers.
Jaghatai: Underated mongol bikers.
There is also the Grey Knights, who are formed out of several different chapters. They specialise in fighting demons and are probably the best per unit space marines.
>repelled Death Guard
That was their god that they don't believe in wrecking some ships in her domain in the warp. The Tau, expressly, failed to hold back the death guard at all, and Shadowsuns attempt to leverage T'au'va to try and help completely failed and they had to fall back through the Startide Nexus.
Listen, bud, I like the Tau. They're my favorite faction. I even splurged out and got the joytoys for them. But the Tau were on the back foot and losing for the entiery of the battle. Shadowsun was literally jettisoned into space. The only reason the Tau weren't wiped out just in general is because of T'au'va, and she could barely save Shadowsun, and couldn't help out in any actual fighting at all. The Nexus is, seemingly, the only place T'au'va has any kind of real power.
Tau god not being a mecha was the gayest shit. I thought Gundamgays were the entire reason they made that faction.
The tau mechs aren't even gundams. They're more like VOTOMs if anything.
I will continue flirting with them at every opportunity, which going off the level of reactivity i’ve seen so far won’t be very often, just so I can see their funny reactions, but i’m still sad it’s not possible
Noble for femRT Crime Lord for maleRT
FemRT stays evil and tries and corrupts Jimmi, fails miserably and becomes a crazy yandere killing every single woman around.

Making one takes a couple decades, need some spares in the meantime.
So, Game Workshop just plagiarized the Navigators of Dune to make this shit?
yes
Geedub plagiarized many things.
AI being being forbidden to due a previous AI war is ripped right from dune as well I think.
Yes. There is a small difference in that the AI war in Dune was not due to an AI rebellion, but the rest is basically the same thing.
The AI rose up and literally enslaved humanity though. That isn't a rebellion?
That's all Warhammer is. Just a mishmash of every science fiction trope and idea they can get their hands on. How do people not realize this?
Halo copied ringworld
Anon... Do you not know what a "trope" is? Everything you have ever seen or experienced is just an amalgam of ideas from other shit.
There is no such thing as an original idea/setting. A lot of the story beats you love are literally older than civilization.
The entire aesthetic of the Imperium was taken from Nemesis the Warlock and Judge Dredd
So is this character essentially just someone with Harlequin-type ichthyosis turned Guild Navigator?

She's the best. Go to your chambers and jack off to Argenta or something
She is cute but she gets fricking annoying. I cant stand people that sit there and say shit like "I'm ugly no one will ever love me!" right after I say I love them. Its fricking disrespectful.
You're autistic, go tell that ugly ass kid that gets bullied because of how ugly he is that he's beautiful and chances are he won't believe you. Now apply this to a mutant who knows she's going to turn into a fish monster later in life and that knows most people look at her with disgust and you'll understand why she has a hard time accepting it, especially since she can't see the future and for all she knows the instant her mutations get too ugly you'll dump her
that didn't take long
What? Porn? We've had that since the alpha
ah, I never played the beta or alpha.
Currently it seems like the game needs some serious fixing so I've held off on progressing past act 2, I don't want to get soft locked like I've heard many report happening.

So this description of Rogue Traders from the TTRPG is what makes me like the concept more than DH.
>The bearer of a sacred Warrant that empowers him to journey beyond the boundaries of the Imperium to trade, explore,
>and make war in the God-Emperor’s name, a Rogue Trader is a unique figure in the grim darkness of the Imperium. He
>may be a newly entitled power on the rise or hail from a long lineage of nobles and voidfarers, but all bear their titles
>with pride, striking out into the unknown in search of fortune and glory. A Rogue Trader is a power unto himself in the dark
>voids, master of all he surveys―at least as far as his force of arms and sharpness of wits can press the claim. A Rogue Trader
>can be many things but whether standing as diplomat before a planetary ruler, cutting a shadowed deal in a station undercity,
>bellowing orders amidst an armed host set upon plunder, or striding the bridge of a mighty starship, they remain one thing
>above all—free.
Space conquistador is fun

How does the Tide of Excellence talent for Pasqal work, is it every time someone gets an Exploit on them or every time he attacks someone to remove the Exploits?
everytime an exploit is consumed by an ability (tactical knowledge, expose weakness etc) or by an attack
Great, I guess he'll be getting it as one of his last talents then. I do love his Tactical Knowledge after all.
It doesn't work currently, it does nothing
That's unfortunate, I guess I'll skip it then.
I've thrown away two shards so far, I sure hope that I get to throw away more.
Is Pasqal able to get enough Strength for Heavy Armour Proficiency?
>I've thrown away two shards so far, I sure hope that I get to throw away more.
You sadly don't. Two shards are all you get unless you actually fall into heresy.
That sucks.
I can't wait for my mentally moronic woman playthrough.
Do you actually get a weapon or something if you collect all the shards?
you get a busted 2h force greatsword for the final act.
Why do only the gayest TTRPG settings get vidya?
When will we get an Eclipse Phase cRPG?
If a RT somehow lost their writ, couldn't they just carry on as if nothing happened? Nobody ever really goes into the Writ Chamber to check on it.
I do!
he could probably have it reissued after having a train run on him by the entirety of administratum
I doubt it, since the original writs are issued and signed by Big E himself.
Though Roger Gotcha, does have the authority to issue new ones nowadays
Are Rogue Traders with a writ signed by Big E higher in status than the other ones
no
Well, you can hardly revoke something signed by the Emps, compared to something issued by, say, a Sector Lord.
They are in the TTRPG if I remember correctly, something about starting gear/ships/profit.
Not necessarily, but often yes. Newer warrants issued by the high lords are usually more restrictive than the original ones.
Maybe they made it so big so that there's something left when you get cored clean through the warrant chamber by a Dark Lance.
Tzeentch stole her eggs.
The Rogue Trader is whoever that has the warrant.
I think the game does a good job of establishing that Theodora was a moron
yes, but then jimmi got sad and jealous so i stopped
no because i do not buy games because of shitty romance content devs put into it to get dumb zoomers buy it

MTP seems to be bugged, Argenta gets 4 AP and some MP from Bring It Down! instead of just 3 AP.
Do you have it on more than one officer?
I only have one Officer, I'm going for Cassia last this time.
The party is only level 11.
I also hadn't cast Air on Authority on her yet, the MP seems to be gone from subsequent recasts but the extra AP still remains.
Do you have the Examplar ability that makes Officer abilities grant more MP/AP?
I tracked down the cause of the extra AP and came to the conclusion that I am moronic, it came from the Noble talent, You. Do Something.

>Iconoclast: Toss the shards into the reactor
I love mixing Dogmatic and Iconoclast. I wonder if there are any great Heretic options at any point.
Honestly the dogmatic option should have been to toss the shards
Is there anything useful you can do with the shard if you're not going full Heretic?
No. It's a Chaos artifact, that stuff is repulsive for everyone but heretics.
I was hoping I could research them or something. Doesn't it turn out that they're shards of Crudarach like that rock?
I had the option of giving it to Heinrix but I just threw it away, I assume that he does some Inquisitorial crap with them.
They get written out of the plot if you do that. Heinrix is not a Radical, so he most likely just has it destroyed.
Limited use if you're iconocuck
Near the end game. you can just tell a group of armed guards that you reject their existence, and handwave them into nowhere.
Specifically you can
1) Crush the shield blocking you (and them) with your unholy power
2) wish that the shield blocking you never existed
3) Mind control them into letting you past and then tell them to "stop breathing" while leaving them there to die.
I kiss the fish everyday
I HATE IT
I LOVE IT
She's adorable.
Why isn't she romancable?
she belongs to Idria anon
Because she's a minor irrelevant npc that's only there to give you info dumps and rumors, you fricking moron
And Owlcat offered to make the fat merchant in WOTR romancable if people wanted it. We don't understand the thought process of Owlcat.
Owlcat specifically said they added options they had no intention of including into the game, so no, they weren't going to add a Wilcer romance, just like how they weren't going to add extra mythic content as DLC
you underestimate bara homosexuals anon
For WOTR Owlcat made a poll to see if people wanted them to add romances with all ready established but minor npc's or if we wanted new characters to romance. So there is hope that she will become romancable someday.
Don't give yourself hope anon. I dared to hope for a Nurah romance after that poll.
Didnt they add a male shapeshifter as a new romanceable companion after that poll?
The buckbreaker of waifugays was already in development long before that poll was made
I just find it funny that apparently a fantasy rpg isnt complete if the developer doesnt include a male romance that can turn into an animal.
But RT only has a woman who can turn into fish.
And the game is barely finished. The assassin companion will be a male Callidus assassin and use Polymorphine to shapeshift into the pet Jae gives you, all to get closer to you. Mark my words.
>assassin companion will be a male Callidus assassin
It's Death Cult Assassin.
>jimi turns into an animal in bed
checks out
that sounds more like a marzipan thing
does marz gifting you a pet sslyth count?
iirc the poll was after the Ulbrig dlc came out and despite being bara bait he was a fun companion
No, the poll was before it was released, but it was already in development and we knew this thanks to datamining
What would the consequences of plapping Vigdis be?
nothing because you're a Rogue Trader and she can't say no
Tinnitus probably. Jae doesnt even have to broadcast it, for everyone to hear you do it.
>RT portrait
Smells like fujobait
lmao you are right, even though you posted the most shit breed of a dog to make a point of something smelling like fujobait.
these are sight hounds, not scent hounds.
That's a woman?
And what does a Vox Master do that they need extreme skills and noble heritage? I had assumed it was just the person who makes the shipwide announcements.
I would NEVER touch xenos filth in such an unholy way you heretic.
What's the point of playing this game in it's current state anyway?
Oh look, the romance novel for lonely old women rendered into a form for men
Neat!
You're trying to be hyperbolic, but if only you knew how bad things really are....
i'll have you know that you don't have to be old to read trashy romance novels. or smutty fanfiction
But you DO have to be low IQ
not really. it's just porn for women. you don't have to be low iq to watch porn
Only the low IQ fall for the porn trap, yes. Its only because of low IQ fricks like you that shit like onlyfans exists and flourishes.
Cope.
>Cope.
i'd rather fap
eh you can appreciate high art and also trashy elf fricking
Lol who do you think Heinrix and Marazhai are for?
lonely femcels?
The best selling book in canada in 2020 was about a woman who has sex with a bear.
Your argument is doodoo, you are doodoo.
>book predicts BG3 success
amazing
>Anon calls my observation an "argument"
Literal moron.
The best selling game of 2023 also has a woman who has sex with a bear.
One of my two Tactical Knowledge buffs keeps resetting instead of stacking after I use another TK, is this normal or a bug?
Is it supposed to be stackable?
I thought so, though I guess the stacking could be the bug.
it don't matter, you still keep the buffs
Which one is it? Inspire is supposed to stack, but I'm not sure about other buffs.
Is Yrliet brain damaged?
I get Idira being the moronic little sister that you have to tardwrangle away from sticking her hand into a blender, but what excuse does a 500 year old elf have?
She's desperate. She suspected Marazhai would just lead her to a bunch of corpses of her people but she wanted to at least get closure.
>She's desperate
Your turn
please understand that elves are moronic and some are in a state of arrested development, so it takes them 500 years to unedrstand the same concepts that take humans 15 years
Yes, she's so moronic it's outright bad writing because no one can be this fricking moronic
Isn't she only 150?
She's basically a rebellious teen by Eldar standards.
>Is (any Eldar) brain damaged?
Yes.
>Is Yrliet brain damaged?
>female
>eldar
Yes, doubly so.
>RT I wish to see your soul where lies are impossible and everything is laid bare
>I will not judge you as this is the deepest form of trust one can give anouther
>WTF YOU WANT TO HOLD MY HAND?!? YOU DISGUSTING FREAK!!!
I want to impregnate an Eldar
not a heretic btw
I'm going to lovingly plap Yrliet and no amount of "lore" or "canon" will stop me.
hi who is the elf with pale skin and red ponytail
i recognize her from elsewhere so i don't think the ai made her up
It's AIsloppa of Yrliet a character from the game Rogue Trader google her
thank you friend
Why isn't this on sale
Relatively new game released by a company renowned for being greedy fricking israelites 1000% of the time doesn't receive a deep discount during a sale!?!
Shocking.
yeah but why
You guys weren't lying about Yrliet romance, how can someone frick up a simple human / elf romance?
I just got the:
>I know how much I disgust you so I won't hug you to try and comfort you.
>Thank you remembering rogue trader.
Here all we have is autistic space elf, prostitute and a spoiled mutant that is only going to mutate even further.
Yet when one game has a gay romance out of 4 all of Ganker loses their shit and piles on shitting on the game.
>spoiled mutant that is only going to mutate even further
I'll love her either way
Behold! Anon's wife
Vladiym what the frick are you doing
Bitches
If I remember right eventually they all devolve into an octopus like thing eventually
I keep Yrliet around and try to be nice to her because she annoys people around me the most.
Same, I bring her and Marazhai everywhere.
Same, keeping a walking heresy around is worth it just to remind the Inquisitorial narc who's boss.
You're a Rogue Trader, it's not heresy to have some xenos scum aboard.
>Human betrays everyone leading to one of the worst experiences in everyone's lives
>Blame the Xenos
Hmmm
Are you talking about side with C'tan ending?
I'm talking about all of act fricking 3. The inquisitor betrays humanity to work for the dark eldar. All of his shit ends in another rival dark eldar faction blaming you for his deeds and coming after you. If he never betrayed humanity none of that shit would have happened but everyone blames Yrliet and chimps out against her.
Also people forget how insanely stupid it is of Heinrix to still make you trust Scalander after he knows Drukhari fricked with him.
Imagine being so stupid you can't comprehend why people shit on the moron you trusted but got you captured instead of the antagonist you'll end up killing anyway
>Half the crew says that they will do anything to save the RT and the protectorate
>Get upset when a Xeno's does everything she can to try and save her people and her craftworld
Hmmmm
She could have, you know, tried to talk with you about it. Yrlietgays are so fricking stupid
Didnt the craftworld open fire on Theodora's ship first?
She sent a ship infected with some Nurgle plague their way iirc. I don't remember seeing anything about them attacking her.
>Farseers get premonition about a ship being dangerous to the Craftworld
>Instead of sending one of their incredibly fast and agile fleets to destroy it they take the entire Craftworld
Judt for once I'd like for Eldar to be written with even the slightest evidence of intelligence.
They did send their smaller ships to intercept though, they just didnt notice the plague being carried back with them from the debris.
>The Eldar, who literally have a mental interface with their ships which often have Spirit Stones integrated into them to monitor the ships even more, don't notice a warp-borne plague being carried on them
It wasn't a warp plague that's the issue.
It was a C'tan based tech plague
That makes it even fricking worse God damnit.
C’tan destroyed Old Ones, Necron destroyed C’tan, Krork/Eldar destroyed Necron.
>Krork/Eldar destroyed Necron
They didn't, Necrons just went to sleep since they realized that defeating the Eldar and the Krork would cost them too much. And since they lost their fleshy bits, time wasn't really a factor for them and thought that they could just wait it out until the rest get somehow fricked over.
Which happened, eventually.
>Necrons just went to sleep since they realized that defeating the Eldar and the Krork would cost them too much.
Nice dementia clanker, but Codex says pretty clear that Necrons were on the verge complete defeat against knife-ears and green-asses
The War In Heaven turned the Warp into a real shithole, IIRC. Like the spiritual equivalent of depleted uranium rounds contaminating it.
>did that change
It did, most recent version is that they buck broke the OOs and the C'tan but had zero chance to defeat the Eldar, especially with the Enslaver plague going on. So Szarekh decided to just wait since for the Necrons it would be just a matter of closing their eyes and opening them a moment later.
I'm pretty sure it was initially about waiting out the Eldar
They figured that fighting everything to claim supremacy would be more trouble than it was worth, and that any mortal empire would eventually fall. So the Silent King decided that since the Necrons are functionally immortal they might as well just wait for a time where there is less opposition and claim the universe then.
>The entire fricking plot of this situation is moronic and screams "We wanted to put an Eldar in but didn't really know how, so here's a dead Craftworld".
More like
>we have no idea about Eldar outside of some wiki-pages and memes
On Janus you can pick soulstones of eldar who arrives to aid rebels, but you can't give them to farseer to convince him to work with you
Im pretty sure even Yrliet calls them out on their stupidity. Also they were only there because they deviated from their path, the same thing they keep giving her shit for.
No, they were there because Crudarach was caught right in the goddamn middle of the great rift when it erupted. It's very clear that's what was what was being described.
They in truth had little choice but to head into the Koronus Expanse, even if they were getting visions it was going to end badly.
>debris from the ship hit the craftworld
damn, if only craftworlds had zillions of laser cannons that could just obliterate stuff like that before it travels all the fricking way
Why not just move the craftworld slightly?
iirc they took a vote and chose to go after the thing because of the vision which is what caused the vision to be true in the first place
Honestly, eldar deserve to die out.
The only Eldar that deserves to live are the Exodites. Since they just live on their planets and co-exist with the wildlife. Sure if you land on their planet they will probably kill you, but they dont bother other people besides that. And they tend to be slightly less arogant than other Eldar
The planets all belond to mankind though, and they'd never accept that.
That's what it comes down to. No Xeno race will ever accept human dominion. Just like humans don't accept Xeno dominion.
>Just like humans don't accept Xeno dominion.

A bunch of Tau frickers don't count. They're a minority
To be fair I'd a Tau.
Also yes it's sample the full one's too big.
my headcanon is that watercast Tau look like the Lumeris leader in Endless Space 2. But you know, blue.
>To be fair I'd a Tau.
No you wouldn't because they don't look like that. They look identical to the ugly as frick guys.
timmy moment
The tau don't look like cute anime girls dude, get over it
Nobody cares Timmy. Go jack off over your spess marine figures mommy bought you.
>Nobody cares Timmy.
You clearly do.

No. Only timmys. Which you are.
I'm a Mechanicuschad you frick

sorry bro, I'm an orkchud
I don't know who that is and I don't care. I'd rather Tau women looked hot and I've jerked off to images like the one you posted but they don't.
Eh, still bangable to me.
You would stick your pecker in a fresh log of shit just to feel the warmth you fricking nutjob. Shut up.
what the frick is his problem
He, Cato Sicarius, is right about xenos and how they must be purged on sight.
Xenos
It wasn't a nurgle plague, it was the tech-virus that Amarat (or however you spells his name) developed for Theodora based on the Necron tech they found in the Tomb World with the C'tan shard.. That tech-virus was what made him doubt himself and split his consciousness with all the different tech priests with Pasqal's last name.
Why did he do it? Was it a test run? It's plainly obvious what it was for, but why go after the elfdar if not for shiggles?
I don't think we ever get the explanation as to why she did beyond just being a massive c**t who thinks she's entitled to everything. Though, there is the fact that the blade handle from the chaos thing is made of wraithbone. Maybe there was something there.
You need to perform a LOT of sacrifices on the heresy path, so maybe sacrificing an entire craftworld to make a hilt for the blade fragment might count.
Absolutely agree but its also understandable that she doesn't when she finds a piece of her fricking craftworld mounted on the wall of your chambers as a trophy. It kind of paints the picture that you were in on killing her people or are covering it up.
>Rogue trader can SPECIFICALLY tell her he doesn't know what the frick the rock on his wall is
>Still betrays you
>Later in Commoragh you can once again tell her you didn't know what it was and only took control relatively recently
>Then you are not to blame..."
She's a stupid fricking c**t and I'm deciding if I going to put up with her for the oneshot potential once I get out of this shithole or just hand her over to Jimmi and make a generic assassin to replace her and not have to worry about gear restrictions
Bros that Fidelio quest in Footfalls..
did you pretend to be Fidelio or not? the quest plays out very differently depending
I did not pretend to be Fidelio. Figured out everything with the servitor, donated the inheritance to the granddaughter, dad tried to kill her for it and the servitor stepped in and murdered him.
>pretended to be Fidelio
>got the inheritance
Was this the right decision? I've read something about giving it to his granddaughter if you don't pretend but she also becomes the target of the people who tried to kill RT. Is this a better outcome, kind of don't want to replay the whole thing to find out?
You can get the PF either way, I prefer killing the pirate scum.
figuring out the servitor and giving inheritance to grand daughter is the best outcome
I pretended and still gave it to her and things turned out ok.
I was never given the option or found out about the servitor thing.
you can't if you pretend to be Fidelio
Same but I talked to the girl and could choose to hand it to her with priest helping her (and dad got killed by servitor for trying to take girl hostage and people theorized the servitor was Fidelio). Ending slide was priest getting the girl to invest in a voidship and things went fine.
Do you find her somewhere after the quest?
No, I talked to her at the funeral where she was hiding. Got baited into the trap, came back, and had the option of saying the girl was the only one who cared about whatshisname so she should have it.
>Repentance was the name of a ship he boarded
>Killed the crew in very inhumane ways, the Captain was burned alive while his wife was forced to watch
>Said wife's last name was Fidelio
>He turned her in to a servitor, removed her pleasure center but made sure to keep her memories intact
>Had massive regrets over this before he died, hence why the granddaughter says he was always sad when it was mentioned later on
>RT can figure all this out, and either put the servitor woman out of her misery iimmediately, or donate the inheritance to the granddaughter
>If you do this before putting the servitor out of her misery the dad of the granddaughter triies to kill her at the funeral
>Servitor steps in to kill the dad, dies in the process
>girl is taken in by the chaplain to be raised and protected
Fidelio was his daughter not his wife and iirc she wasn't there on the ship, she tracked hi down later and tried to kill him
iirc you can kill everyone present yourself, mercy kill Servitor and give money to granddaughter
I figured everything out and then gave Fidelio the revenge that she deserves. I let the kid and grand kid flee because they were not involved then proceeded to kill every fricking pirate prostitute in the area. I planed on giving the inheritance to the grand kid but the game did not let me so I got it for free.
>Still no SoB romance
Shit game.
Has No Respite been fixed or does it still give a lot of characteristics points?
WHY DO YOU HAVE THE OPTION TO ROMANCE LET ALONE ASSOCIATE WITH FILTHY FRICKING XENO SCUM!? THIS IS NOT CANON!
Imagine having a Warrant and NOT using it to frick xenos. Madness!
Quiet you low level voidborne!
>his RT isn't an abject hypocrite
Roleplaying Imperium wrong.
No you see even Heinrix agrees that RTs can legally have xenos in their retinue and there is precedent for this.
Jimmi mad that the RT doesn't have time for regicide because she's busy meditating with Yrliet.
i will never not have time for jimi. i will kill every prostitute who dares even look at Jimmi. I will airlock any c**t who adres encrouch on my personal time with Jimi. I will give every xenos to Jimi as a courting present
>Giving Jimmy the chess board made out of soulstone that is filled with the tormented soul of a farseer, just to make it even more romantic.
I'm pretty sure Jimmi's not into torture porn, that's Marazhai.
True, but he does really like his chess. So he can probably deal.
the whole point of the warrant is that you need flexibility to do your job properly. as long as you frick xenos behind closed doors it's all good, it's only an issue when your subjects think it's ok for them to do the same
Big E promoted peace and integration of Xeno's into the imperium.
Not true, Emperor didnt have a beef with the Eldar. He was using their tech even.
Using an Eldar webway for your own purposes under their nose isn't necessarily acceptance/approval of the Eldar. If using your enemies shit to further your own goals works..
>Eldar webway
It's not Eldar.
homosexuals get ye gone
Feel free to prove me wrong, but I know you can't. Now repeat after me
>The galaxy is the demesne of Mankind
That's the rule. Xeno genocide not required. Can you repeat it shitposter-kun?
>Xeno genocide not required
It is now.
Secondarybro... your lorereps...
>ANY and ALL Xenos threats
Yes and part of a Rogue Trader's job in those days was determining whether a given Xenos races they encountered was or wasn't a threat.
No, they exterminated every sentient alien race they came across.
"No you're wrong, I'm right"
That's your argument. Try again.
I really preferred it when Ollanius Pius was just an ordinary Guardsman instead of being steadily levelled up to whatever he is now.
Theoretically they can*
That's literally in lore propaganda.
Both are very clear and what they state is
>The galaxy is the demesne of Mankind
>The Primarchs integrated plenty of xeno races into the Imperioum even before Horus was named Warmaster
Name 3
He literally gets to a point where he realizes that Xenos are more a net negative threat and writes them off completely.
>writes them off completely
He was on a schedule though, and had to break the Orks on Ullanor before they hit critical mass and actually threaten the GC.
There was also the Rangdan shit.
Heresy.
It's clearly modern homosexual virtue-signaling re-writes. The integrity of the setting is fricking doomed.
Women and gays ruin literally EVERYTHING that they touch.
Why would they rewrite that though, politics aside. wasn't the plot point that both Big E and Modern Imperium's ideas were evil and foolish in the long run thus caused more harm than good.
We live in the age of "product must become inclusive or flounder/perish" anon.
If Emps wasn't such a homosexual and accepted Godhood, we wouldn't be here. Yeah, you don't need it, but you can reach it and your people want you to reach it.
Well now he doesnt have a choice, he's stronger than the chaos gods and anathema to everything in the warp. The big 4's gambit failed during the Heresy and now they've set themselves on a path that can only lead to their destruction once big E has enough of their shit.
>Why would they rewrite
It wasn't rewritten.
>virtue-signaling re-writes
Anon they literally went and decided that the Scattering of the Primarchs was a result of a woman moment. Not some Big E keikaku, not the Big 4 meddling, just a woman being a woman.
In fact, they went on and retroactively added even more moronic women to the cast like Kandawire and Astarte who tried to pull the plug on the GC and the Astartes project but then of course it didn't matter because Big E saw it coming and already had back up plans.
If I frick her in the nose hole will she die?
it's like choking so not immediately
It would be extremely painful
Tell me about the Tau. Why does she wear a mask?
Reminder that humans absorbed into the Tau empire will never get to frick a Tau girl because of the caste system.
You have much better chances just being a good ol' IG guy and getting a cute Tau wife post battle. You know if the Ordo Xeno don't find you.
>good ol' IG guy and getting a cute Tau wife post battle. You know if the Ordo Xeno don't find you.
yeah...
forgot pic
Actual best bet is get involved with the local politics in Tau border space and frick the cute water caste girls they send to seduce the men. Just be sure not to simp.
Remember it is canon that Tau women prefer human men.
The cute blue girls are probably all highly trained glowBlack folk after extensive plastic surgery.

It really is a shame about the negative points to her character. Because she's got tons of really good bits throughout the game. And her voice actress did a damn good job (not as good as Idira though, frickin how she ended up with the best performance is beyond me)
Pasqal is great too, there a line delivery from him after Kiava Gamma I think that floored me
Yeah, Pasqal's too, though his gets a few free points due to the voice distortion that was needed for it.
Distain for lower beasts, jealousy of superiour beings, greatly opposing cultures etc.
>logical reason
well uhhhhhh I'm a GW writer and I say frick that gay shit
At least girlyman is less moronic and works with them. Much to the horror of people who think everything has to be grimdank all the time, even at the expense of logical and interesting storytelling.
Eldar, for all their posing and grandstanding, are way more whimsical than humanity.
>Get to act 5
>Only barely got to rank 3 Dogmatic
>Highest reputation with a faction 20
>Only lvl 47
Considering the game is pretty much shouting that this is the final part of the game. How the hell do you actually max out ranks?!
You don't actually need max conviction unless you want Heretic 5 for the sword. I got the good ending with just Iconoclast 3 even.
I'm at the end of act 3 and I'm like halfway through rank 3 heretic. how the FRICK am I ever supposed to hit rank 5?
What did you do? I was higher than that before the end of Act 2.
Some of them come from colony stuff. I got + 15 dogma for carving scripture into a bunch of people on foulstone.
Seeminlgy, wait for Owlcat to get their head out of their ass and patch it. For instance, the latest patch halved every faction rep requirement, and increased the conviction points every single dialogue choice gives you.
>and increased the conviction points every single dialogue choice gives you.
I've still only been getting +3, and +15 from the very first choice.
I guess Owlcat fricked it up then. The last patch notes said they improved Conviction points gain across the board
They fricked it up instead since Idira and Cassie don't have their level 1 convictions anymore, and Idira needs it for some early game heretic gear.
Yeah, so it's just more Owlcat incompetence.
>defiled
You mean blue balled.
So what the frick is a Halo device? I know what it does, but why? It’s not Chaos-related going by what I can find on Lexicanum, is there anything at all known about their makers?
It's spooky lore that turns you into a 40k Vampire Count
This except your only option is Strighoi and your personality is overwritten Johnny Silverhand style into whatever personality was on the Halo Device.
it's some xeno shit
You will spend 5 minutes after every fight trying to level up and you will like it.
Yes. Because that is half the fun in these games.
Go play something else if you just want 3 classes with a pure linear build path.
>Go to Nurgle infested ship
>Enemies all have no animation
Never happened.
Can I really romance a cute elf girl while playing as a human male in this game? Female elves are built for human men. I want to play out this fantasy.
You don't frick her. You get a hand holding scene at the very end. Anything else you gotta headcanon.
Damn. Is the romance itself actually any good?
The romances in this game are by far the weakest part of them. I had significantly more fun shooting the shit with Abelard than kissing the fish.
I found it very good but it suffers from two major negative points
She WILL betray you and you can't avoid it. It's a whole lot of misunderstandings but still a betrayal and very hard to forgive in character, and sours it a bit. I'd also argue the lack of physicality is a negative point. She doesn't really try to change for the RT as much as the RT does for her, basically.
You talk a lot and meditate together. It's cute but not a typical romance. You can frick a male dark elf though.
So was the necron companion and waifu cut in beta or something? I remember Ganker freaking out about it.
That was just a meme about Jae anon
That was just people joking about how boring Jae was in beta.
Why is the fish keep bothering me? I am exploring planets
She probably wants to teach you proper english
Any narrative consequences when picking who should accompany you at your coronation?
No but you get different bonus points for colonies except they are bugged and may disappear later.
>Got the glove that reduce recoil
>Become god
> Argenta has 350+ BS by the end of round 1 and it keeps increasing
> can point at any enemy behind full cover at the opposite end of the screen and get 8/8 critical hits every time
What is recoil ?
I use my PC rather than Argenta since my PC got Never Stop Shooting
Update the game pirategay.
>Let us argue over the history of shit that doesn't exist and never happened for hours on end
Why are men like this?
Same reason women talk endlessly about conversations they had with other women.
Because it's fun. Go back to gossiping about other people behind their back troon.
>Fighting some bloodletters and CSM after doing deadly warp travel option
>Abelard is holding frontline in front of a set of stairs
>CSM walks up to abelard, gets parried and ends his turn
>Abelard succesfully pass check on Thunderhammer shove to push CSM back
>Game gets stuck in slow motion for almost a whole minute well CSM SLOWLY slides down the stairs well kneeling
Thank you Abelard my ever faithful seneschal
Gork>Mork
What a gretchin thing to say
I love Yrliet but it's strangely satisfying to see her get BTFO
Full convo context?
It's right after the second arena fight if you spare and recruit Marazhai
She basically tries to tell what a terrible idea it is to do it and he says that to her.
Why does Yrliet unjustly persecute the best boi.
What did he ever do to her?
There is an ending where they become frens
I just realized why gays troons and women infest these communities guys... because there's a record, a history so-to-speak that they CAN "correct the book on"
It makes so much fricking sense AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Why do people say Magnus did nothing wrong when he clearly did?
Because most of his frick ups were the result of him trying to do the right thing, unlike most of his traitor brothers. His frick ups were generally a result of him being too fricking arrogant to listen other people, which caused him to double down on his mistakes until he landed in a position of either Chaos or death.
That doesn't mean he did nothing wrong, just that he was a well intentioned moron.
He absolutely did a ton of shit wrong. Im just explaining why some people claims hes innocent.
>book event in Comorragh ends in a game over if you fail the checks
Is this predetermined?
I keep failing a couple +80% chance checks after reloading
yeah the game is fricking moronic and it gives you random bullshit numbers on your skill checks, but some of them inherently work and some of them inherently fail.
Shit luck, nothing else
>fish and elf are amazonian
>jae is only normal sized woman
Why only one shorter gf option?
Frick you Owlcat. Give me a Ratling Abhuman gf
Why was Owlcat too scared to include felinids?
Should I turn Heinrix into an Officer instead of a Warrior? It's not like Cassia uses a lot of Officer stuff anyway since she's broken as a full on Navigator.
What happens when Necrons and Tyranids run into each other?
Unless it's an overwhelming advantage Tyranids get stomped. Hive Mind sensing that a planet is chock full of sleeping Necrons is enough to make the hive fleet move the frick on.
Its hinted that one of the reasons that the Necrons are waking up in present time, is because the Silent King encountered the Tyranid in his 60(or so) million years travels, and booked it back to known space to prepare for their arrival.
Since the ultimate goal for most major Necrons is to become mortal again, the tyranids eating all organic matter in the universe, is obviously a big problem.
>*revives your Primarch*
Nothin personnel... Mon-Kiegh.
>And Guilliman now mistrusted by the most of the Imperium after Godblight
Got a source on this?
>Got a source on this?
Godblight novel
I don't remember reading that in Godblight.
Frick are you talking about? What secret?
Girlyman is the most squeaky clean of the primarchs. Only one that comes close is Dorn, even if his autism leads him to think otherwise
>What secret?
Imperium Secundus.
>even Guilliman's secrets are boring
That's not even a secret, people found out about it during the heresy and Sanguinius explained the reasoning behind it, followed by them putting those plans permanently on ice. I don't see why anyone would be upset over them making plans to unite the worlds under the assumption Terra and the Emperor were dead.
Not to mention the moment they realized the Emperor and Terra wasn't gone they did all they could to shoot Angle boy directly there.
>That's not even a secret,
Not for High Lords and Custodes
>primarch kickstarts full blown heresy, resulting in the GC, Big E and the Imperium at large getting royally fricked up
>10k years later it gets revealed that at the same time another primarch thought that Big E was dead anyway and decided to secede from the Imperium and do his own thing
I'm sure you could understand the ramifications of the Imperium and especially the Custodes finding out about Gorillaman's "well it wasn't heresy you see, I'm a good guy" gamer move.
The only one who would think what Girlyman did was heresy is a complete fricking moron. So if GW wants to write people angry over that then fair enough, but it doesnt make sense to be if you have an IQ above 90.
>The only one who would think what Girlyman did was heresy is a complete fricking moron.
So most of the Imperium?
>is a complete fricking moron
Imperium isn't exactly short on spastic morons willing to go apeshit. And it would be quite easy to twist all that shit about Imperium Secundus to kick off another civil war.
>Do you really think
No I don't, but with the Lion returning and BL giving a callback to Bobby facepalming when the Lion showed up in The Unremembered Empire it's quite clear they will try to stir up some shit.
>No I don't, but with the Lion returning and BL giving a callback to Bobby facepalming when the Lion showed up in The Unremembered Empire it's quite clear they will try to stir up some shit.
>MUH MUHREENS DINDU NUFFIN WRONG
Valdor was right about everything.
Again, what fricking ramifications? Has anyone actually been implied in text you gigantic homosexual?
Do you really think GW would EVER turn their currently space marine poster boy evil or in way portray him negatively? They wont do it to Lion and they don't do it to Girlyman because that would send Timmy into a frotting rage and he'd stop buying space marines.
at worst he will get a slap on the ass by custodes and then they will work towards unfricking everything.
How is that a secret? That was a known variable. For a good while Girlyman didn't know if Terra was still standing and made plans accordingly.
who the frick is bobby, and what is the naughty secret?
Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the Ultramarines, also empire builder and organizer extraordinaire. During the Heresy they were cut off by a giga warpstorm, he thought that shit was lost and the Emperor died so decided to enact a contingeny plan to save mankind/the Imperium and declared establishing his own empire, Imperium Secundus with Sanguinius being the CEO and the Lion thinking it was heresy.
But then the storm cleared, the idea got scrapped - Roboute even considers it his biggest frick up - and they legged it towards Terra.
thanks
how would Guilliman handle an Iconoclast RT ruling a secessionist Koronus?
any secessionist gets the nuke and no amount of shitty deus ex machina is gonna save him
>secessionist
Would nuke them without asking a question.
>Or did people learn about Imperium Secundus?
Not yet but it had been written down in the Macragge library and Nurgle tricked some moron into finding the book.
He did burn down a third of Nurgles realm, while being piloted by Big E. Thats pretty impressive
It's not that I believe Owlcat, it's that I have an unshakeable faith in Games Worskhop to be overly controlling and continue to make bad decisions
>There's finally Yrliet porn
Good
There was a pic off her giving a bj for a while now
Is there anything I can do about the Scrapcode thingie on Foulstone? Got debuffs from that and the Word Bearers after I legged it there for some event.
Also thank you Owlkeks, Janus projects are still jumbled, seeing how some Mechanicus project requires Dark Sages (aka tard mechanicum) instead of the Admech one.
What present would Yrliet actually 'preciate? Or do gifts mean nothing to Eldar?
>inb4 muh bolter to head
Soulstones, any kind of relic from her craftworld, that sort of shit
Do you think a piece of a craftworld will be a nice choice?
You can give her a entire bucket full of soulstones, that you find in the secret bunker where you can first encounter the Necrons in act 4.
Anything that's Eldarian origin, though she'd probably complain about putting your Mon-Kiegh hands all over it.
But he's still going to be mad as frick about Guilliman making the legions into chapters.
>. Lion's response to finding out Guilliman is alive was relief that he wasnt alone.
Yes good job, now post the end of the book where he literally says he's "not alone" and is clearly showing relief over it.
>Yrliet wandering inside my room
>Tell her I'm glad to see her and she can come whenever she wants
>I didn't know I need permission
Yrliet cute.
I just realized I don't know shit about space marines beyond the Ultramarines being the most normal ones and the Space wolves vikang furries.
Yeah but the Grey Knights are lame and not cool so they aren't canon.
They might be lapdogs for the Inquisition, but they are still canon... Except the babycarrier, that shit is entirely too lame to exist.
SOON, RUSSBROS...
>inb4 the Tree of Life is Isha
That would be pretty cool. And since Big E recently burnt a third of Nurgles domain down, we might see Russ again.
filthy dog
well done owlkeks
well post the expanded modifiers
I forgot to take more screenshots
he gets +200 base dmg from that
Pasqal, right?
its the weapon, I am sure it was meant to be (2x int BONUS) not flat 2x int damage
IIRC Pasqal has a talent where plasma damage has the same bonus that scales with INT, so that weapon gets even more broken in his hands
Patch your game, piratechud.
ummm
Huh.
The patch notes explicitly mentioned this being fixed.
Well done indeed, owlkeks.
TAU ARE FRICKING LAME AND LOSERS
Tau website
Tau aren't anime you dumb c**t.
Still an obvious Japan ripoff, dipshit.
Doesn't make them weebshit gayc**t
Don't @ me again you filthy fricking WEEB.
Cry about it
Anime is tranime. You will seethe at this simple fact and post some picture of a graph or some shit to try to "own" me.
Stop watching fricking cartoons.
good bait now have a nice day.
>The weebs are triggered
Good
>He says, while playing video toys
timmy moment.
>TAU ARE FRICKING LAME AND LOSERS
>repelled White Scars and Raven Guard
>repelled Ultramarines
>repelled Death Guard
Raven Guard are stealth coward's, no shit they lose in a real fight.
>repelled Death Guard
That was their god that they don't believe in wrecking some ships in her domain in the warp. The Tau, expressly, failed to hold back the death guard at all, and Shadowsuns attempt to leverage T'au'va to try and help completely failed and they had to fall back through the Startide Nexus.
>The Tau, expressly, failed to hold back the death guard at all
They haven't lost a single planet, unlike Ultramar
And Nurgle lost a third of his domain.
The tau mechs aren't even gundams. They're more like VOTOMs if anything.
Tau god not being a mecha was the gayest shit. I thought Gundamgays were the entire reason they made that faction.
I can’t frick the fish or Argenta as a woman so i’m playing this as a fricking bachelor
No lesbos allowed
>back of the knee, maybe
The funny thing is that lesbos definitely have a thing for shoulders.
Still the way she delivers this line is hilarious.
I will continue flirting with them at every opportunity, which going off the level of reactivity i’ve seen so far won’t be very often, just so I can see their funny reactions, but i’m still sad it’s not possible
who the frick is timmy
What's the best origin thematically for a heretic that isn't psyker? I already did that one
crime lord
Noble, they're all degenerates to begin with.
Noble for femRT Crime Lord for maleRT
FemRT stays evil and tries and corrupts Jimmi, fails miserably and becomes a crazy yandere killing every single woman around.
MaleRT gets redeemed by fish pussy.
>becomes a crazy yandere killing every single woman around
>doesn't get to keep her man
THEN WHAT'S THE FRICKING POINT
The point is tragedy.
i'll fricking shank you
it won't make Jimmi love you again
then i'll fricking kill you, him and myself
>RT destroys her entire dynasty in a woman moment
There is no dynasty if i can not get impregnated, do you understand? This is the end of the line. I'll burn it all down, the warrant included
what are some RT man moments?
Forgiving Yrliet
a sanctioned psyker willingly walking into a ritual circle
destroying the navigator dynasty, forgiving a xeno
>forgiving Yrliet
>playing along with the fish's shoujo romance dreams
>raising a C'tan Shard as his beloved son
I love my boy nomos
he's a good c'tan shard
Nomos, you are one of the good ones.
>destroying House Orsellio so Cassia stays by his side
>disrupting Yrliet's ritual
Slapping Cassia the moment you meet her.
Is it safe to play the GoG patch already? Or is the game still completely broken?
So you cannot get dialogue with Yrilet in your quarter about her craftworld in Act2 without romancing her?
>iconoclast options support using xenotech
Isn't that a bit a heresy? I'm a lorelet.
>NO YOU CAN'T USE THIS SUPERIOR ELDAR FIREARM BECAUSE ?????
give me one good reason why not
So?
Everything is heresy. Even you asking that is heresy, you double heretic.
xeno stuff = iconoclast
chaos = heretic
Only to the mechanicus, and only if they don't find it first and can figure out how to bullshit that they actually made it so it's okay.
Or if you're a rogue trader with a warrant that says you can use xenotech.
It's more like they support the study and use of xenotech against the xenos. Heresy to most people maybe but a RT can get away with it
If the emperor doesn't want me to use xenos guns, then why do they bigger numbers?
Rogue Trader, only actual heresy counts as heresy.
