What about them? They were having sex, now they just spirit hug and do chaste rituals of meditative intercourse.
>specially when it is not so uncommon for sisters to fall to chaos.
It's extremely uncommon to the point that even most knowledgeable Astartes believe that it literally never happens. It does happen, but it's not common, and it is covered up by the Ecclesiarchy.
A full bro Chaos-leaning archmilitant (as in the ship role, but also the class would be fun. Always the first to chime in with "kill them all and let the gods sort them out" to the point of sociopathic comedy, is an option for murdering shit during void incursions, and has to be constantly warned off from straight up murdering everyone who disrespects the RT (violently confrontational with Yrliet and Marazhai, among other things) and has a rivalry with Ulfar if it comes to it.
They are all coming back, except Horus. According to the latest canon, Primarch souls are eternal and exist forever in the Warp. The Emperor can bring them back if he really wants to. The cicatrix maledictum has empowered the Emperor enough to finally focus his consciousness once more and Guilliman's leadership has brought sufficient stability for him to intervene more and more without everything going to shit. Which is to say, GW needed an excuse to bring them all back to sell models.
lol we now know Ferrus was already brought back by Horus during the Heresy, literally as a joke. We'll see what he has been up to all this fricking time eventually and what excuse they come up with as to why he hasn't been active.
He says himself he is not a ghost and is real, resurrected and physically there because Horus wanted to flex his warp-peen. And Sanguinus inexplicably cannot sense anything to the contrary. So either he gets off again soon after this, which I totally hope they should do for the lols alone, or he gets figuratively stasis'd somewhere for all this time.
Honestly they should just bring back the ones that disappeared. So Vulkan, Khan, Corvus and Rus. Dorn was actually confirmed dead until a canon shift so they only found the hand or some shit.
Sanguinus, Dorn and Ferrus stay dead.
Half or more of his soul/s are walking around the materium already. Mephiston is like the fourth or fifth strongest known psyker in canon because of it.
Sanguinius exists in two or three parts. You have the dark angel embodied in Mephiston, and you have the angel embodied in the Sanguinor. I believe there's a third part I'm forgetting because I'm barely awake, but basically there's two or three, or maybe it's just one, extremely powerful unaligned warp entity that's said to have existed even before Sanguinius. Sanguinius is like a synthesis to this. It's why he had the Dark Rage. It seems like a soul flaw not just a genetic thing.
Also, there's simply The Angel. The first creation and attempt by the empire to make what you would think of as a Primarch. It came to the conclusion that humanity would fall to chaos inevitably, and that the only way to save them was to kill them. It was capable of greater-than interstellar flight, and in a day it kill everyone on an entire planet. The Emperor put it to sleep in a coffin, and leaving out some details, it's still there. It's his greatest weapon, and it's what the first Space Marines chapter, the Dark Angels, is named after. Source: Inquisitor: Conspiracies - Death of an Angel.
So yeah, IMO, more than half of Sanguinius is already running around, and The Angel might be a true synthesis of whatever warp entity/s make up Sanguinius.
This but unironically. Some of that lore has been around for over two decades, and GW doesn't do retcons by omission. The Star Child lore has just been reaffirmed after over two decades as well in The End and the Death: Volume 2. Canon is canon unless explicitly retconed.

Star Child is the cornerstone of the plot from here on out. The Terminus Decree has been all but explicitly been confirmed to be a bioweapon capable of killing all transhumans, and so he's not coming back that way. Cypher was told "not yet" through one of the Custodians by the Emperor, and so it's highly theorized he's going to kill the Emperor when the time comes to release him.

The moon Titan. All transhumans including the Primarchs, I should clarify. What's more, stop them from ever being made again. I don't know where this plot is going.
Bringing the Primarchs back was as big a mistake as adding a new range of SUPER space marines to make the original ones obsolete, all just to sell new models.
A huge warp storm outta nowhere ripping the Imperium in half is grimdark enough but obviously they really need to nail primarch stuff and having them team up with xenos is definitely not grimdark. Should have had it that he started kicking ass as is outlined in the codex astartes in a way that made the militarum realize they might as well have been reading it in Aeldari and have his side of the Imperium be in a new golden age and contrast it with the things that are generally going on on the other side. No I will not read the nulore.
That's really not something that matters for the potential shitstorm, sadly.
Regular people would just boot up toybox and turn on same-sex romances
/vpol/, however, would seethe for all eternity
That's what I mean really.
Though toyboy playersexual checkbox is still a bit off. I tried with a femRT and Cassia and she still goes full "y-your shoulders are nice" at the attempt to call her beautiful. It did trigger the scene where she gives you the courting book.
Regular people would just boot up toybox and turn on same-sex romances
/vpol/, however, would seethe for all eternity
For it to truly make people mad you need to specifically write the romance as a dyke only thing, go out of your way to mention that you're two women in a relationship, use as many female pronouns as possible, etc
I mean if I was writing it myself I'd just have it that due to the Sororitas being a female only order they just naturally gravitate towards lesbianism for intimacy/companionship and find anything else weird/affront to the Emprah/etc.
Though personally Argenta has a very good set up for an ending where she has kids with the RT due to her hang ups about orphans and how her parents died, so Argenta specifically would actually be better as a straight only romance, funny enough.

I guess, it just feels there'd be more potential for actual conception. Dunno she could avoid a relationship with the RT because she's afraid of having kids and that seems more like a penis in vegana issue.
Honestly it's a pointless exercise. We're never getting Argenta romance sadly.

Imagine telling Argenta she'd be a less effective soldier for the duration and for the last few months of pregnancy, you flat out refused to allow her to fight heretics. That woman LOVES her some killing.

I think that's not really the general issue. I was more thinking that she'd want to avoid it so if she and the RT die they don't leave behind orphans, like what happened to her.
I think in general her orphan status had a lot of potential for good character building and it was ignored.

Isn't it something like a sacred duty to reproduce in the Imperium? the main resource of humanity is its numbers, after all.
[...] >Do necrons want romance? >How about a choas demon?
Yea, the Winterscale quest in act 4 (if you go incoclast) is you basically NTR'ing a Khorn Herald. That fricker was starstruck and then you undid Calligos' murderhoboing ways in one conversation. Double points if you played a fat bastard RT.
What's the deal with Calligos' corruption, was it due to Worten the Grey or something? I went full heretic so I never learned the details.

Worten was a Bloodletter using a human as a flesh-puppet
the Emprah
they're just part of obscure religious sects that believe that killing the enemies of the imperium is the highest form of devotion, and they spend their whole life training to improve at that without too much oversight

Would you like it if Owlcat went to a big publisher to get more budget and full voice acting and overall more expensive presentation for their next game?
Their fundamentals are flawed, and more money isn't going to fix that.
They need to focus more on what they have and refining it, rather than petering out in quality the longer their games go.
Every single part of the game needs the same amount of love.
I don't know if Owlcat just gets burnout, or runs out of time, or really just have no money, but it's a consistent thing with them.
Until that is addressed, more money likely won't help them, especially if a developer adds another layer of issues to the relatively small team.
How do I determine what guns and weapons to equip my guys with? Should I just be looking at the damage number? I'm having trouble making Argenta useful and I want to make sure i'm not misunderstanding anything
within the same type of weapon (pistol, sniper, rifle, etc) you should look at rof, dmg, and minor properties (overpen, dodge reduction, etc)
for example argenta specced for burst weapons wants high rof because she will have means to add flat dmg and double rof, but maybe you dont want super high rof low dmg like a stubber and instead prefer a compromise like heavy bolter
anyway relax it will make sense as you play, at the beginning your weapon choices dont really matter
Recoil and range is pretty important next to the dmg number
Be aware that when you're looking at a weapon damage range, it's the base value, the game won't show your acutal full damage until you wanting to do an attack (unless there is another way to see it beforehand and I'm dim)
>roll to see if you hit >okay now roll to see if you ACTUALLY hit >okay now have your target roll to see if you ACTUALLY actually hit
Jfc how do I into 40k, my friends have recently gotten into it and they're trying to include me but I don't find it engaging.
the secret is that you dont have to
aside from all the side games with different, usually better rules (Kill Team, Necromunda, Mordheim et al), you can just paint things, or play the vidya, or whatever
yes you will lose street cred among Ganker if you dont consume every possible avenue of 40k media, and we all know that anonymous' opinion of you is the most important thing in the world, but you're tough and will get through it
I like the universe of 40K (was introduced 25 years ago by a friend), I play 40K vidya, I even buy 3dprinted minis that I think look cool. But I have never and will never play a game of 40k on the tabletop.

Yeah, frick.
I do enjoy the lore and the model building process (haven't gotten into painting yet), but I don't enjoy the tabletop like they do.
I think they wanna get into the vidya too though so that might be fun.
the worst part about act 3 is re-equipping every item. It even resets the date received filters too. As much as I like the game so far, I also hate it.
Quick tip for next time, anon. Move all the equipment your party is using to your cargo before act 3 and then when you loot a box just move all everything from cargo back to your inventory
>Get the no shuttles destroyed accomplishment for Act 1 >Managed to get Aurora down to like 10% health and he still didn't do the cutscene to destroy one
Aurora bugs out sometimes. He doesn't get his free first turn movement ahead of everyone and doesn't destroy shuttles.
I'm not sure exactly what triggers it but I know I genuinely have only beaten him due to that.
I dunno how you even get that achievement legit without it bugging out.
Not that I ever will get it regardless. I don't play on daring. I play on daring + 50% buff to skill checks and ship combat on easy.
>I dunno how you even get that achievement legit without it bugging out.
He only has 350 or so health on Daring, it's pretty easy as long as he doesn't kill any of your people.
When he doesn't bug out the issue is just that you need to overkill him from 50% health on a single character's turn. My Ripper pistol attempt got him down to single digit on hard and I just couldn't be arsed to do over in an attempt to get better rng on damage.
I mean the issue is that you gotta burst him down in a single turn like the other anon said. Because if he hits a certain damage threshold he ALWAYS goes for a transport. So you gotta make sure you're above the first threshold and then get him from there to 0.

Anonymous
>Because if he hits a certain damage threshold he ALWAYS goes for a transport.
That's a thing? I usually just kill him before he even gets his second turn.
Anonymous
Yeah assuming he doesn't bug out once you get him under a certain amount of health he'll run to a ship and blow it up I think the Thresholds are something like 60% 40% and 20% health remaining problem is that it kicks in right when you hit end turn on a character and he'll move to that point in the turn order and not trigger attacks of opportunity when doing it.
At least it's less buggy then the beta I got him down to like 10% health then and he immediately fricked off destroyed all 3 ships and gave me a game over.

Anonymous
I'm almost certain that's the case? I won't pretend to be sure though.
From what I've experienced, if he goes bellow a certain amount of wounds it makes him destroy a transport. Again I've only ever managed to beat him the times that for some reason it bugs out and he NEVER tries to destroy a transport. Because what makes that happen also makes it so he loses his first turn that he always gets ahead of all your party that doesn't have seize the initiative.
I managed to get it legit but needed to savescum a lot so I didn't get screwed by the Black person sniper killing everyone from across the map. Now that I know the system better I feel confident in killing him first try.

That sniper is the real issue of that encounter. Fricking homosexual ass little b***h.
3-5 damage now but It's still 8 shots and an Operative with Tactical Knowledge can clear 10 exploits off an enemy to give each of those shots +10 base damage then also use Jimmy's biomancy to increase incoming damage by about 10% and Ballistics Calculation for another 15% damage and .
I've lost the image for it but I one shot one of the act 2 Daemon Engines with it on my assassin since after all my buffing each hit was something like 40 damage and 6 direct damage because Lethality applies to ranged weapons too.
I thought the exploits would only proc off the first hit? I thought they changed operatives to only proc exploits for the first hit...
Anonymous
Tactical Knowledge is one of the Operative abilities, you clear 1 exploit off everyone in an area or all of them off a single enemy and each stack gives your whole party 2% armour bonus and your character +1 damage for the rest of combat, and you can use it every round to keep gaining more stacks, combo it with the talents that throw exploits on enemies and you can clear 30 off one enemy and have your whole party tank multimeltas while the Operative one shots everything.

The one where every 2 allies with los apply an exploit on all targets is fun.
The extremity of some conversation skill checks makes no fricking sense. Why do I even bother putting points into them if I am just going to be penalized so harshly that it nerfs those skills into the ground?
I've already done three companion quests in act 4 and they all feel so uneventful
Abelard's quest was fun but Abelard himself was irrelevant
Idira's quest was a boring as frick "guess I'll die lord captain, that's fine"
Heinrix's quest was.... I don't know, nothing? He killed his mentor and that's it, I assume that's his final quest since I doubt there's going to be another one
They really did rush this shit
Did they fix failing a check locking you out forever? Talking about those where you can use items like Multikey/Demolition Charge or go for no no items for a harder check. Not even sure which is the bug here, being able to retry with an item or being locked out but still having the option.
>execute party member for being a fricking traitor/heretic/I feel like it >gear is lost forever
It's not like they left, they're just dead now, and lying at my feet.
I have no problems wiping blood and grey matter off enemies equipment, why should I care if it's an elf I was having follow me around.
It's what I'm playing now that I've abandoned my Assassin run due to broken talents, only just finished act 1 but the plan is to give myself a ton of Fellowship with Leader's Assault and Defensive Stance as well as pic related to give me Officer buffs.
fricking hell, assassin is my favorite archetype and I usually run THREE assassins. and I just hit lvl 35ish? and I'm only now realizing how fricked up it is after reaching the end of the talent tree.
I loath the implementation of traps. 99% of the time they show up out of combat and just create pointless busywork and force a need for a stat requirement.
nooooo it's owlcat's INGENIOUS way of utilizing the absolutely riveting injury & trauma system, what do you mean you don't like being forced to organize your party into a specific formation and walk slowly across the giant empty map so they don't bounce all over the place while you're running and get broken legs from triggering every trap within 50 miles
BROS I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!
I'm trying to romance Cassia and accidentally told her to gtfo from my ship since I was going through the dialogue as fast as possible.
God, I'm in Rykard Whateveris where the colony is on siege and the encounter design is horrid shit
It's just (lol fight 20 enemies except 10 of them are dotted on parts of the map where you have no line of sight and they are by themselves so go spend a billion turns getting to them and clearing them)
Does it get better, why the frick are they even putting complete shitter enemies that don't really pose any threat to you on a football field's distance yet also still include them in the encounter you are having right now
Shitter enemies are in every fight because a bunch of abilities are designed around buffing you when you kill enemies and with no chaff to kill you wouldn't be able to build momentum for heroics.
>i dont remember what the origin-specific perks were, though
One give bonus to any solid range weapon (recoil, range, armor pen, damage)
One give bonus when there are nearby allies
One use FEL to calculate Willpower abilities
>The weapon perk is nice but the Will replace with FEL talent seem pretty situational.
Should let you abuse Sanctic officer even more. Tie both the officer stats to Fellowship, then let you base psyker abilities off your fel.
Commissar really only works for an extra "bring it down" via "give them hell" on the first turn, hopefully allowing the officer to proc their ultimate as well.
They really want you in base contact with an enemy so all of your allies get officer tier resolve.
Black person, EVERY class in this game is pointlessly convoluted. those 3 are the worst, but they're also the most broken (in the bad sense of the word, not the good sense). they went overboard coming up with all that bullshit and half the shit doesn't even work
Operative Assassins are ridiculously simple. >Study Target >Exploit Weakness >Seek Weakpoint >Killing edge >dead enemy.
Bounty Hunter sucks and only a glitched item made it good, don't use it.
>Stick your dick in Argenta while on shore leave on a paradise world >Get a vision of the Emperor midway through >"Trader. Nut as deep as you can, and I'll take care of the rest." >Obey the Emperor, finish, and impregnate Argena with triplets while a sunbeam of holy light surrounds you two lovers >Look up at the sky and see pic related
Best timeline and best waifu.
Argenta would have the most normal and plain pussy, but the sheer religious fervour, physical strength, stamina and high-tier motherly instincts would combine to milk the biggest nut you've ever experienced out of you. A+ for effort.
>Fricks like a dead fish, the trauma might just outright kill her because MUH ELDAR EMOTIONS >Prone to mechanical mayhaps, will lead to involuntary castration >Will mutate mid-frick and fuse you to her at the crotch. Existence will he extremely painful.
It's kinda hard because of his stats. Low agility means he will always go last. But you want int so he can do skill checks more. He's actually a great candidate to be a grand strat to deal with his low agility and still scaling with int. Grand strat doesn't have much that you need. Locus. Locus talent. Replenish ap if you reuse a strat. Rest of the grand strat stuff is just gravy meaning you can use those talents to pick up his tech priest unique ones. I don't know about vendor gear but he works well enough in medium armor since you get one from vendor whose armor scales with tech use. The planetary event where he gets the logic calculator would also REALLY benefit him as a grand strat.
Im assuming Locus Talent is Blurred Locus, but what replenishes AP if you reuse a strat, closest I can find is the strongpoint talent that gives you 1 ap back if you use two on the same zone
Pinnacle of weaponry, aiming protocol, filtering protocol, overcharge protocol, at the minimum. Get grand strat so he can move first and begin buffing/debuffing while getting free plasma potshots. Get any other plasma related talents and gear on him, obviously.
>kill the ugly beggar in the first meeting >he's just chilling on the street later showing off your boots >you picked a glass cannon sniper for your build and abelard is weak as frick from debuffs, but you have to start the first fight surrounded with no gear >kill and behead the commisar the first second you meet him >he's just chilling in a cage later saying his throat hurts (lol) >get into a storybook event with the flying homosexual >all of the % chances display incorrectly and you never know what to pick
The fencing gloves are so fricking absurdly good. My whole squad got downed but me, then my MC parried 16 attacks in row, and solo the fight
Also is there a way to screw yourself in romance without realising it? Because some of the dialogue options seems to irritate and amuse my treasonous elf at the same time
Have everyone by the door while your tank talks to the altar guy.
Kill the adds first. Then throw everything you have at it while praying your tank can absorb the extra attacks.
>Didn't tell Pascal to tear the xenotech out when he was dying on the street >Didn't get an option to trade shit to elf frankenstein to have him take it out >can't find any options in dialogue with him to see about removing it
Do I just need to toybox to get this shit out of my techpriest now?
>isocube
You're getting a shotgun lobotomy. The mind will be made free of xenos taint so that the soul may yet be saved by the Emperor. This will naturally be done after the ritual destruction of said xenos in a public and painful manner, which may included any or all of the follow; disembowelment, flaying, scourging, burning at stake, dismemberment, eye gounging, scalping, hanging, and/or acidic liquidation.
The Arbites would have to be AT LEAST a justiciar to be even taken seriously by the Rogue Trader. Anything below a Marshal wouldn't attempt to frick with one, especially not outside Imperial space. You have to keep in mind that Rogue Traders are individuals that even Inquisitors can't directly touch.
Some talent seem pretty useless >Lasgun talent is useless since no one gonna use Lasgun into mid game >Brace for Impact talents since the person with it not gonna stand near the team most of the time.
Afaik the high end Dark Eldar guns are all lasers so the talent applies to them and there's a few really good ones like the Ghost Lasgun from the Inquisitor wreckage.
Unfortunately, only Argenta gets to turn her ability in a multi use.
You know, if AM Argenta wasn't so broken, Master Tactician Argenta would be OP as shit with her essentially doing War Hymm every turn while also making everyone shoot a target.
Unfortunately, only Argenta gets to turn her ability in a multi use.

Oh that.
I take the one talent that makes it so it gives deflection or cover or whatever it is and activate it once per battle whenever it's most appropriate.
It's free anyway and that's about the only use I've thought of for it.
Pretty meh ability since abe gets it and typically is mid in the initiative. Supposed to be your "oh shit we got ambushed" panic button but it only lasts one turn. If you had it on a high initiative character it could be really good.
It's ok for a little while but doesn't really scale, it's applied to the damage from when they hit walls and other stuff like that after being knocked away so you need to succesfully push them and the damage doesn't really get affected by all the multipliers your regular hits get.
Most upgrades can wait. Every colony can have 10 upgrades, and while some only unlock far later, you can eventually fill them all out to almost fully 10/10/10 across the board.
Get the things you think will be useful. Anything that blocks off a later upgrade will be in the same act.
If a tier III upgrade requires a tier II, a tier V will require a tier IV, and so on.
>It's only purpose is juicing up your RT with talents from the various events.
Do those even stick? I have some stuff show up in the reputation menu as permanent buffs but never anything from the colony events.
So I just finished Quetza Temer in Chapter 4 and it ended when Winterscale realizes his boy was Khorney and they attacked each other. I told him that I would help him back to his ship for aid but then the conversation ends and he is just lying there and there are no prompts to do anything and the quest just sort of ends. I go back to my own ship and nothing happens. Is this a bug? Is it intended? Will an event trigger at a later date? I feel bad just leaving him in the dirt on that shit hole planet bleeding out.
That's how it resolved for me, and I had Winterscale's assistance during the final part of Ch4 and met him as a cripple (he handed me his axe so that he'd never be tempted again), so I assume it's working as intended. But obviously since we're talking about Owlcat you can never be sure.
Legitimate possibilities for nids, not just Leviathan: >Silent King and Necron bullshit weapons cut through them like butter >The Emperor wakes up and does a psychic battle to kill the Hive Mind >Everyone possible fricks off into the webway and rides it out, Commaragh style >The Mechanicus gets the most bullshit asspull of a weapon from the writers
That's pretty much it. Even Orkz can't outfight fight that. The Imperium is outnumbered, for once. Chaos daemons can't survive and renegades fare just as poorly as anyone else. Tau aren't even a snack. Eldar gods are also daemons, which can't exist in the shadow of the warp.
There's still going to be a galaxy-spanning battle in any situation.
The bullshit power of Necrons can't hold the entire galaxy.
Even if the Emperor kills the mind, there is still at least a galaxy's worth of nids fighting each other and spilling over into the Milky Way.
Getting everyone into the webway or onto halo stars will be a fighting retreat that costs septillions of lives.
If someone actually writes that the Imperium found a way to counter all of nid-dom, everyone dies because grimderp drives sales.
King and Necron bullshit weapons cut through them like butter
LOL
LMAO >>The Emperor wakes up and does a psychic battle to kill the Hive Mind
Shadow in the Warp
possible fricks off into the webway and rides it out, Commaragh style
There is tyranids planet in the Webway >>The Mechanicus gets the most bullshit asspull of a weapon from the writers
Yeah about that...
The more I think about them the more I hate tyranids conceptually.
Having another major threat to the galaxy is whatever, but having them being written as only the very tip of the invasion to the point that it's only a matter of time before the galaxy is fricked is just Hispanic dbz chart levels of powerwank even for a property that thrives on powerwank
Canonically in one of the earliest editions, it had devoured twelve or so galaxies worth of biomass before reaching ours. Again, very tired. Fairly sure it was twelve.
To kill it, literally blow up the stars. Necrons could do it.
The idea that the Nids are just the scout force will be retconned away as Inquisitorial paranoia and we find out the Nids are just the survivors of an extragalactic threat that's chasing them or that they all froze in deep space or something.
I don't believe that's canon, but like I said in another post it's canon they've eaten twelve galaxies worth of biomass already. For reference, the largest observed galaxy IRL is 160 times wider than ours. They could be quite large.
Every depiction of extragalactic Tyranids is artistic expression to demonstrate how massive the swarm is, not actual evidence of their numbers. It's just that 40k is so balls out with everything else that people accept it as fact. Abaddon did not actually destroy Cadia by growing really fricking huge, but it's a good image.
I waited for the last patch before starting chapter 3, things have been goofy and slightly irritating so far but I haven't hit anything gamebreaking yet. the biggest problem by far is the load times.
that's fricking tragic. it really kills my enjoyment of the game. the biggest problem is that they didn't properly limit saves, and xbox has a limit on how much data a game can store, so I constantly have to delete saves to make new saves. and with the long load times on the load menu (lol, lmao), it takes like 30 seconds to delete 1 save. but the new saves keep getting bigger in size, so I end up needing to delete 2 saves to make 1 new one (yes, even quicksaving has this problem). and the real kicker, the game CONSTANTLY freezes up while doing simple things like inspecting an item in your inventory. and when it freezes, it automatically opens the bug report window, which automatically saves your game, which then forces you to spend more time deleting old saves.
It's the same Unityslop cache clearing issue we've seen time and time again. Knowing Owlscat, I can only imagine the spaghetti code that lies under the hood, so I doubt it'll be fixed anytime soon
Does failing compaion quests lock you outta the later ones ? Only asking as I was a dickhead to Abelard in the conclusion of the striking workers event and the quest log has that filed as failed.
So I tamed the Forge Fiend on the forgeworld, and it's a huge boon dealing with these Dangerous warp encounters, but Argenta, Heinrix and Pasqal are b***hing about it specifically as if it was on the bridge. Is it supposed to be standing around the bridge somewhere?
>one disabled enemy sits there and drools for over a minute at the end of their actions every round >map freezes and gets stuck on the screen and has to be removed by spamming the right icons until it’s gone (happens around 5-10 times an hour) >can’t move to any tiles at all despite having full MP requiring a reload
Trying to attack an enemy and instead attacking the tile under their feet or the tile visible between their legs or between their arms and torso. Also, in smaller rooms, clicking the 4th wall and blasting away at a most invisible ceiling.
The primarchs are all men. Gender swap them all and suddenly 40k would be flooded with japs and fan art of primarchs committing incestious acts with each other.
There are 5 ways to get into that basement.
The fight gets drastically easier or harder depending on the door.
If you entered at the red door, you're fricked.
If you entered at the yellow door, you're in for a rough time.
If you entered at green, it's pretty much yellow with less cover and better line of sight.
If you entered at either blue, you have a great way to kill anything that is trying to kill you first.
Also, if you see someone kneeling down and praying, try and kill them, or they'll mutate into a daemon. >I didn't crop this picture, but whatever. I guess I'll go gargle wieners as repentance.
You ask for one back from the hommunculus to help complete the guy's goals. He won't give out the second one.
After shit goes south, but before the hommunculus flees the coop, ask for your second one, to get them out of his hair.
Phrase both like you're helping the evil bastard, and he will be faster to part with them.
The time you get the 2nd is also a good time to get Ulric if you haven't convinced him to free the Space Wolf yet. At least that's how it worked for me. I'm sure that there's other ways to convince him to alter the timetables, but I didn't get the chance.
In Act IV, am I supposed to be able to instantly spam build a shitload of colony projects beyond the limit of the visible squares? This feels like an egregious glitch.
>pros >she won't stink up your ship >doesn't constantly b***h during combat >your exotic pet won't unnerve the serfs >no chance to betray you with its deceitful Xenos ways
>cons >you have to make a generic sniper party member that won't have as high a BS or her unique ability and talents to replace her
>I feel kinda bad for her though
Don't worry I felt the same way, that is until she got catcalled by a lady on my ship and proceeded to act like she was raped before calling everyone (including you) animals. Jimmy had a nice talk to her and I haven't seen her since.
I have two question. what position give psykers the most amout of freedom other that inquisition and rogue trader? and could psykers be declared saints?
How in the hell am I supposed to fight this Drukhari space battle dogshit encounter where every turn they just spawn in 3+ more ships? I've been upgrading the shit out of my hull but it doesn't matter.
If it's the one everyone has trouble with, that particular one can be done later.
You eventually unlock a second ship that helps you out, and it helps that particular battle a lot.
Also, torpedoes are king against Drukhari.
Then, at that point, you might just not have either good enough weapons to do damage fast enough, or the right set of abilities to take advantage of.
Of course, it might be you needing to git gud, but that is a hard fight, even when you know what you're doing.
>Called Cassia pretty to boost her confidence a bit >She's now in love with me and gave me a book on courtship of noble ladies
Damn I really digged myself too deep, I don't wanna make the fish sad.
When are we going to get some details on the two new party members coming with the two DLC?
All we know so far is one will be a death cult assassin and the other an Adeptus Arbite.
Will there be any more DLC/expansions after those two? It would be horseshit if we don't get a proper Xenos merc rather than those two shitty spaces elves.
We could use a Kroot to have a spot for all the melee that isn't normally viable.
Everyone wants an Ork, but I think that's the low-hanging fruit. Unless we got an entirely new story ark with a WAAAGH coming through the sector, there's no reason to have a freeboota just wandering around, or a nob all by his lonesome.
Have a damaged ork-crewed space hulk appear, something has infested it and wiped out the orks and you encounter a sole remaining Bloodaxe Kommando solid-snaking around picking them off.
He offers to sign up with you after you start killing the threat off.
And that would work, but then he has no goal. There is no end-game for the kommando except for existing as part of the trader's crew. He's not trying to get a ride somewhere, get rich, or kill his old warboss for being a git.
Even Marazhai had plans beyond just escaping Commoragh, and he was a complete asspull of a reasoning to get a Drukhari on as a playable character.
Any Ork needs a goal of being part of the crew and a reason to both entice the trader (I knowz 'bout dese 'ere sekret stashes from me Freebootin' days / An' I'll kill dat warboss dedder than ded! Dis ain't no place fer a proppa WAAAGH!) and leave the trader when the game is done and the Ork's epilogue comes up.
He doesn't need a deep goal. He's in it for the scraps (the trada knows where the best fighting's at). Maybe if the trada becomes a daemon prince, triarch protector or.something he strikes out to become a Kaptin.
I feel like they're the equivalent of those Israeli propaganda pictures aimed at men to make them enlist.
You know what I mean, I don't have an example but I'm pretty sure everyone has seen a pic like that once.
so mankind has been on the top of the world for like 13 thousand years and no one has ever figured out a way to travel through the galaxy without teleporting to hell and hoping the demons aren't hungry today?
>no one has ever figured out a way to travel through the galaxy without teleporting to hell and hoping the demons aren't hungry today?
Well there was that one guy. Also humanity emphatically has not been top dog of the galaxy.
Seethe impcel, your Imperium will be squatted and replaced with a democratic republic ruled by Girlyman and Yvraine's transgender son before the decade is out.
How does one gets black signet from the inquisitor?
I've been going mostly dogmatic: blasted Rykad Minoris, killed eldars on Janus, purged Kiava Gamma. The only big non-dogmatic choice was the send food to Footfall.
And no matter what I say to Calcazar I still can only get white one.
Is it bugged or am I doing something wrong?
It's not possible the way the dialogue variables are currently set up.
At most you can get the red one if you pick the right options.
Plot choices don't matter either unless you killed Henry X.
I can't even get red one. I've tried enabling flags with toybox and even I avoid [MercyCounter-1] as much as I can I still get white.
I think toybox is not 100% accurate in this case, the only option for kiava gamma that seems to not frick you out of the red ring is 'observe the seeds of corruption' from my testing.
Toybox is is mostly accurate, except the very first set of answers: > Sure let's talk > What's the hell are you doing > Assassination REEEEEEE
All of them are marked as MercyCounter-1, but it's actually remains at zero.
My guess the counter was supposed to get set to some initial value after this first answer — which is probably 2 for civilized answer and 1 for hostile ones.
The rest answers work as toybox shows, except you do indeed get Scarlet at -1 and White at 0, -2, -3 and -4. I could've get it below -4 or above 0 without editing it in toybox.
Something is clearly fricked here.

>At most you can get the red one if you pick the right options
Oh cool! I had thought I fricked up by not getting black during my iconoclast adventures.
Which makes it more surprising considering I was also half heretical.
When do I get to fug the fish? I've smooched her every opportunity, told her that loving me is more important than her stupid house and had her sleep in my bed.
I'm currently on act 2 and I stumbled onto a planet with multiple CSM and a hellbrute, I don't know how you are meant to fight it legit, I ended up just abusing elusive shadow to murk the cultists and used a buffed up alebard/cass/agentata to deal with the CSM stuffed away in some corner to avoid the hellbrutes instant kill volley fire
Congratulations, that fight was fricked. I placed my party without panning the screen up so I had no idea the Hellbrute was there, so I just dropped Argenta out in the open with no cover because I assumed I was just gonna buffcrank that c**t into killing everybody in a turn or two like usual, and the Hellbrute 1 tapped her.
I won that encounter off of Abelard dancing his ass off dodging and parrying hovering around 10%hp while Cass, Pasqal and Heinrix were doing what damage they could.
I guess my party is built like shit, as my Alebard and assassin RT maybe dodged/parried like 3 attacks each from the CSM and both got their asses blown off by the hellbrute ranged attack when I misspostioned them. My RT atm has about 110 agility when buffed by cass, so those CSM are packing some meant perception stats alongside their 95+ weapon skill
>I'm currently on act 2 and I stumbled onto a planet with multiple CSM
Where?
You sure that's act 2? I've never seen this.
It's the "Ice world" in this system if you're looking to get your boy holes filled out
>I guess my party is built like shit
I'm pretty sure it's the hardest fight of act 2 regardless of builds.
And you get nothing valuable out if it. Just some cargo.
Yeah, i was really blue balled after pulling some random frickin' cargo after all that, judging by the fact this area was apparently only recently placed in, I'd like to imagine the cargo is just place holder for the real reward.
Also, witnessing my dodge man get raped and my deflection tank get bofo'd, it does worry a bit how am gonna fair past act 2
NTA, I'm not sure if I had a rumor before going to the planet, I just scour every planet and landing dungeon I can find. I wasn't expecting anything like that fight when I landed, and I just barely completed it. If Abelard didn't keep dancing between chainaxes and bullets I would have had to reload.
No, I was just aimlessly exploring systems looking for space fights to farm scrap and planet loot, if it means anything, I only started this save about 2 days ago

Oh.
Maybe it was bugged and it got fixed in a patch.

My friend who started the game earlier than me also missed this one despite claiming that he explored everything.
So maybe this encounter was stealthily added in one of the recent patches.
Extra turns are really cracked in this game, my PC is an Officer/Tactician, Cassia is an Officer/Strategist, Argenta gives herself a shitload of free attacks with her Soldier/ArchMilitant Heroics, Abelard gives himself a bonus turn with his Warrior heroic, and I specced into Vanguard with him to make him an absolute tank that pulls aggro onto himself. Pasqal is kinda there, honestly his damage has fallen off compared to Abelard, Argenta and Cassia.
Why am I, the Rogue Trader, possessor of a Warrant of Trade, heir to the Von Valancius dynasty, forced to partake in "romance"t? Why can't I simply order Abelard to send a harem of e-girl concubines or something up to my quarters?
On another note, is it just me or are psyker powers kinda lackluster or ass? It’s very likely that i’m moronic or have just been building wrong, but I find there’s very few moments where a damaging psyker power wouldn’t be strictly outclasses by using Gun. I picked pyromacy and feel kinda ripped off
>Switched out Idira for Pasqal for my Iconoclast run because trying to make Yrliet the tech gal feels too dumb >need to find a new warp knower >Jae has -30 to Lore (Warp) for some reason >Picked grim portents (-5 lore (warp)) for my RT's origin (he read a scary book about the warp when he was little and is a coward in general) >got so scared of it he studied it in depth apparently
What's there for damage though? Purge Soul doesn't work against certain stuff. I can't remember if there's a staff that scales with resolve, or if they're all just psy rating and WP.

There's a staff that does scale off resolve. And the basic power of the Sanctic school increases resolve for everyone in a group. Have everyone cast it. Rape happens.

Primitive just means that it isn't a power weapon, lightsaber, plasma gun, flamethrower or anything. Hitting someone hard enough with a sharp stick is still effective in the 41st millenium

It's a goddamn book ducktaped to a broom handle. Can't get much more primitive than that bro.

It is moronic when singing spears and fractal/ghost swords aren't at least force weapons.

Sword of Faith and Hammer of the Emperor. Which both also ramp up continously with all the resolve gain, plus you're getting so much momentum you can just spam Sword of Faith to increase its base damage, too. Oh, and between Shield and Light of the Emperor, nobody ever fricking dies.
Plus the staff
.
Sanctic is crazy in how it ramps up if you have multiple casters.
no, you will have your forced drama and you will like it
It feels extremely dumb to give player multiple choices and skillchecks and stuff only to end all encounters in the same way >all eldar are dead and it's all monkeigh fault
What's the point of videogame interactivity if you're gonna railroad this hard?
Just about to finish Gomorragh, didn't encounter any quest breaking bugs there only a few misstranslated dialogue lines, weird camera focus and NCPs speaking as party members.
Is the rest of the game worse?
I don't mind waiting or starting a new playthrough if I'm going to need to fiddle with toybox to finish every other quest.
I wonder how a romanced fish will react to a full heresy playthrough.
How do I tank?
I'm thinking of playing a warrior > arch militant stacking armor and parry since vanguard sucks dick. Thing is soldier can build for medium armor+dodge and run n gun is basically charge.
Taunt is great and all but since its a save it usually ends up being a waste of AP
>really enjoyed rogue trader >decided to try owlcat's other games >tried pathfinder kingmaker >game starts >some moron gnome b***h yappin about heroes and shit >uninstall
i fricking hate dnd setting so much it's unreal
You aren't too off base with your original assessment.
It isn't D&D, it's Pathfinder.
So, basically just D&D 3.5 with the mechanical autism cranked to 11 and a slimy veneer of unveiled progressive ideology smeared over everything.
Is the dogmatic path just a murderhobo run? Every time someone looks at you funny you're encouraged to fricking execute them right where they stand no questions asked.
They're all good. Sanctic is low wp ungabunga using resolve and buffing. Telepathy on idira is really straightforward and scales unbelievably hard with pr. Biomancy buffs are good the heals suck. Divination is all buffs but they're pretty good. Pyro is not as easy to use like telepathy but is fun
Get your basic operative stuff to stack exploits. You won't need things like ballistics etc. But don't invest in any operative abilities. Analyze enemies/expose weakness is all you need. Go bounty Hunter after. You only benefit from a couple of things there so use your bounty hunter levels to get more psyker talents. All the telepathy damage ones are great.
You wear unsanctioned gloves, spam all your psycasts for cheap during first round of combat. Hope your head doesn't explode. Get a couple of pr boosting peril/phenomena and then go to bursting heads for the 500 damage.
Exodites literally never leavr their planets unless absolurely needed. They also attack pretty much anyone who lqnds on their planet who isn't a Craftworld Eldar or Harlequin.
Honestly think a Ronahn (DOW2:R) style male pathfinder elf and a female Wych would have been better. Mature guy who's been through a lot and needs a lot of support to help break through his shell and the young, ambitious drukhari halfborn who's willing to do anything and anyone to rise up.
Yrliet herself is bad but not the entire problem. Eldar are supposed to be mystical and dangerous beings who wield esoteric powers and have strange motivations.
In RT they're just stupid morons who can't stop dying en masse because the writers didn't really want to deal with them.
Not all Eldar are like that. The problem is that most Eldar stuck to a path and only Farseer are like that. Plus Yrliet is young for her race, around teenager for human
Well,In RT you encounter only remnants of minor Craftworld (which still acts like morons), and they are calling for aid from Alaitoc which is pretty good (for Ward-verse Eldar) in settling scores with Imperium

I'm not saying you should just grab yourself the best gear and make a perfect build at level 5. But faction rep requirements is clearly overtuned as hell, and even with it maxed you still gonna meet the profit factor to buy the really good stuff.
You could get 2 plus navy in the release version to max by early-mid act 4. I agree on the respec cost being bullshit but what you're suggesting is absolutely cheating in a game that's already fairly easy to break.
>played it on release till bricked in act 4 >restarted few hotfixes later >bricked 5-6 times >gave up in cumrag
Define playable. Have the broken traits, items and weird as frick glitches been addressed at all?

It wasn't Cain that got laid, he just become a scholar after he "retire" and befriend a local sister who was in a relationship. (she also gambling and drink alcohol)
I know.
Well, Cain's inquisitor gf would get uppity if he'd bang even woman he meets.
Argenta is into little girls.
No, seriously. Why did they make her not romanceable?
WHY?!?!
I want only her, bros.. it isn't fair.
She is a nun. Nuns are celibate
We can hold hands together.

specially when it is not so uncommon for sisters to fall to chaos.
>specially when it is not so uncommon for sisters to fall to chaos.
You know he's coming back right?
Would he still be as broken as he was during the Heresy or will time have made him weaker? Because he was overpowered as hell.
I hate Primarch wank so much it's unreal.
I know that Ferrus should definitely not come back, and neither should Sanguinius.
lol we now know Ferrus was already brought back by Horus during the Heresy, literally as a joke. We'll see what he has been up to all this fricking time eventually and what excuse they come up with as to why he hasn't been active.
A spooky warp ghost is clearly not the same.
How? Seriously how?
That's all fricking moronic.
Then you're probably going to hate it when Mephistion and Dante do a fusion dance with a Sanguinor to resurrect the primarch.
This but unironically. Some of that lore has been around for over two decades, and GW doesn't do retcons by omission. The Star Child lore has just been reaffirmed after over two decades as well in The End and the Death: Volume 2. Canon is canon unless explicitly retconed.
Star Child is garbage
Star Child is the cornerstone of the plot from here on out. The Terminus Decree has been all but explicitly been confirmed to be a bioweapon capable of killing all transhumans, and so he's not coming back that way. Cypher was told "not yet" through one of the Custodians by the Emperor, and so it's highly theorized he's going to kill the Emperor when the time comes to release him.
>The Terminus Decree has been all but explicitly been confirmed to be a bioweapon capable of killing all transhumans
Holy based, where do I press the button?
The moon Titan. All transhumans including the Primarchs, I should clarify. What's more, stop them from ever being made again. I don't know where this plot is going.
>40k
>expects it not to be moronic
ngmi
Bringing the Primarchs back was as big a mistake as adding a new range of SUPER space marines to make the original ones obsolete, all just to sell new models.
Frick no, bringing back the primarch is a mistake. They need to kill lion and robotman again permanently to drive the "grimdark" aspect better
Especially since now that half of the Imperium can't see the Astronomicon.
Total fish love
I love my ultra religious sexually repressed gun dyke gf!
>gun dyke gf
I do wonder if they gave us Argenta romance but she was gay, the reaction it would get. I kind of want to see that shitstorm.
let them, it would get modded the same day it releases
That's really not something that matters for the potential shitstorm, sadly.
That's what I mean really.
Though toyboy playersexual checkbox is still a bit off. I tried with a femRT and Cassia and she still goes full "y-your shoulders are nice" at the attempt to call her beautiful. It did trigger the scene where she gives you the courting book.
>Though personally Argenta has a very good set up for an ending where she has kids with the RT due to her hang ups about orphans and how her parents died, so Argenta specifically would actually be better as a straight only romance, funny enough
Adoption exists
What's the deal with Calligos' corruption, was it due to Worten the Grey or something? I went full heretic so I never learned the details.
Worten was a Bloodletter using a human as a flesh-puppet
Figures. thanks.
As it should be if it's not a player sexual romance. Gays get lots of gay stuff, hets get lots of het stuff.
>Gays get lots of gay stuff, hets get lots of het stuff
Owlcat always avoids that, that's why you don't get kids if you play straight
The Adepta Sororitas girls definitely touch each other heh
Regular people would just boot up toybox and turn on same-sex romances
/vpol/, however, would seethe for all eternity
troons are so disgusting same with dykes
I get that the 2nd expansions companion is going to be a judge dredd type, but what exactly are death cult assassins? Who do they work for?
the Emprah
they're just part of obscure religious sects that believe that killing the enemies of the imperium is the highest form of devotion, and they spend their whole life training to improve at that without too much oversight
Khorne

Yea, the Winterscale quest in act 4 (if you go incoclast) is you basically NTR'ing a Khorn Herald. That fricker was starstruck and then you undid Calligos' murderhoboing ways in one conversation. Double points if you played a fat bastard RT.
Would you like it if Owlcat went to a big publisher to get more budget and full voice acting and overall more expensive presentation for their next game?
It would be Owlcat's worse game yet.
Budget isn't their issue.

Enough with this meme. If you want some good writing just read a book or a VN for frick's sake
Owlcat is too incompetent for that, unironically. Adding full voice acting would mean even more bugs
I just want a good game I don't care if the assets don't look amazing when you zoom in
full voice acting and cutscenes are trash and so is bg3
go watch a movie you mass effect zoomer
no. go back to bg3, moron
They have budget for all that, they just need to stop stretching the main story into a disjointed mess and adding filler
Voice acting is a cancer on rpgs, it consumes so much time and resources that could be better spent on improving the game.
Braindead take and I fricked your mother.
Don't you need to openly be the rogue trader to access this?
You lose out on an entire area to explore if you do.

Where are all the portraits stored? I want to pull some of the npc portraits from the game files.
moronic question but can you be a psyker without choosing Sanctioned Psyker in character creation?
Yes, in the late game you can become unsanctioned.
Wasn't that just for sanctioned psykers to become unsanctioned ones?
Nope, I started as a commissar and just got to level 36 and could become a Psyker
Which patch are you playing?
You can become an unsanctioned psyker at lv 36.
Starting a second playthrough and my autistic tendencies prevent me from choosing anything other than Officer for my MC.
does this game shit on Cadians as much as Darktide?
What's the best faction reputation to get from Jae? Mechanicus?
>roll to see if you hit
>okay now roll to see if you ACTUALLY hit
>okay now have your target roll to see if you ACTUALLY actually hit
Where do you get the Psy Focus talisman?
Jesus fricking christ I just finished chapter 1, got to advanced classes and suddenly battles have become such a slog
>Get the no shuttles destroyed accomplishment for Act 1
>Managed to get Aurora down to like 10% health and he still didn't do the cutscene to destroy one
The hell.
Aurora bugs out sometimes. He doesn't get his free first turn movement ahead of everyone and doesn't destroy shuttles.
I'm not sure exactly what triggers it but I know I genuinely have only beaten him due to that.
First time around I beat him by dumping a buffed Ripper pistol into him for 80% of his health but he still ended up destroying a ship right after.
>Because if he hits a certain damage threshold he ALWAYS goes for a transport.
That's a thing? I usually just kill him before he even gets his second turn.
Fricking homosexual ass little b***h.
>uffed Ripper pistol into him for 80% of his healt
the frick? That only does 5-6 damage, didn't they nerf the hell out of it?
I am aware of that, I abuse it quite often. I thought you were talking about something else.
The one where every 2 allies with los apply an exploit on all targets is fun.
>Eldar lore dumps
I liked the ones we had before release. They were comfy. And gave the Eldar far more credit than the game does.
The extremity of some conversation skill checks makes no fricking sense. Why do I even bother putting points into them if I am just going to be penalized so harshly that it nerfs those skills into the ground?
Have you considered playing on the latest patch that reduced the difficulty of all checks by 20%.
I already am and apparently having 140+ in a skill is not enough to pass a simple conversation test.
Not even sure which is the bug here, being able to retry with an item or being locked out but still having the option.
>execute party member for being a fricking traitor/heretic/I feel like it
>gear is lost forever
It's not like they left, they're just dead now, and lying at my feet.
I have no problems wiping blood and grey matter off enemies equipment, why should I care if it's an elf I was having follow me around.
Is Vanguard a good class for Officer Commissar? I don't want everyone to be Grand Strategist and I have no idea what Master Tactician do.
MT > GS
It's what I'm playing now that I've abandoned my Assassin run due to broken talents, only just finished act 1 but the plan is to give myself a ton of Fellowship with Leader's Assault and Defensive Stance as well as pic related to give me Officer buffs.
I was just about to post about this. I'm going crazy thinking I'm missing something.
Feigning attack: After a melee hit, the target will have 0% parry and dodge against the assassin's next hit.
1st hit: successful. 2nd hit: parry????
There's a bunch of broken shit on Assassin, I spent a ton of talents upping my dodge for Esquive and then the ability didn't even function.
fricking hell, assassin is my favorite archetype and I usually run THREE assassins. and I just hit lvl 35ish? and I'm only now realizing how fricked up it is after reaching the end of the talent tree.
What do I pick bwos
I usually go with 3 and then 2.
either do what this anon said
or do 2 & 4. both combos are incredible.
I loath the implementation of traps. 99% of the time they show up out of combat and just create pointless busywork and force a need for a stat requirement.
nooooo it's owlcat's INGENIOUS way of utilizing the absolutely riveting injury & trauma system, what do you mean you don't like being forced to organize your party into a specific formation and walk slowly across the giant empty map so they don't bounce all over the place while you're running and get broken legs from triggering every trap within 50 miles
>walk through steam cloud
>*crippled*
>*crippled*
>*crippled*
>*crippled*
Literally how was I meant to know?
steam is HOT anon
it reduces your character's ability to be shot and stabbed several hundred timed
why can't I damage Aebys or the champions, just the torturers?
nvm I can they just dont have health bars over their head
nice game owlkek
BROS I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!
I'm trying to romance Cassia and accidentally told her to gtfo from my ship since I was going through the dialogue as fast as possible.
Is there a way to get her back?!
Reload.
Surely you've got a recent autosave. If she just came on you at least have the one from leaving Eurac V
Reload a save
reload the last save you fricking moron, is this your first time playing a video game
you don't need help. you've already reloaded the save to fix you mistake but thought it would be funny to make a post about it on Ganker for (you)s
God, I'm in Rykard Whateveris where the colony is on siege and the encounter design is horrid shit
It's just (lol fight 20 enemies except 10 of them are dotted on parts of the map where you have no line of sight and they are by themselves so go spend a billion turns getting to them and clearing them)
Does it get better, why the frick are they even putting complete shitter enemies that don't really pose any threat to you on a football field's distance yet also still include them in the encounter you are having right now
no. the encounter design remains the same throughout the game, and yes, it's terrible
you vill have 3 snipers in ze party, and you vill be happy
Shitter enemies are in every fight because a bunch of abilities are designed around buffing you when you kill enemies and with no chaff to kill you wouldn't be able to build momentum for heroics.
NO anon the point was not about having shitter enemies, but their placements
You're gonna LOVE cumrag
RTWP encounter design
What is Hiveworld origin good for? The weapon perk is nice but the Will replace with FEL talent seem pretty situational.
probably any build that relies heavily on fellowship. i dont remember what the origin-specific perks were, though
>i dont remember what the origin-specific perks were, though
One give bonus to any solid range weapon (recoil, range, armor pen, damage)
One give bonus when there are nearby allies
One use FEL to calculate Willpower abilities
it could be really nice to have a dps psyker with healing abilities and you only need to pump fellowship instead of pumping willpower too.
>The weapon perk is nice but the Will replace with FEL talent seem pretty situational.
Should let you abuse Sanctic officer even more. Tie both the officer stats to Fellowship, then let you base psyker abilities off your fel.
Any good commissar build? Preferably using sword and pistol
probably soldier-archmilitant, or soldier-assassin depending on your playstyle
I made mine an officer and the Commissar origin really isn't a factor so idk
Commissar really only works for an extra "bring it down" via "give them hell" on the first turn, hopefully allowing the officer to proc their ultimate as well.
They really want you in base contact with an enemy so all of your allies get officer tier resolve.
meant warrior-assassin, sorry
Am I moronic or are Operatives & BH/A needlessly convoluted and complicated?
Black person, EVERY class in this game is pointlessly convoluted. those 3 are the worst, but they're also the most broken (in the bad sense of the word, not the good sense). they went overboard coming up with all that bullshit and half the shit doesn't even work
Operative Assassins are ridiculously simple.
>Study Target
>Exploit Weakness
>Seek Weakpoint
>Killing edge
>dead enemy.
Bounty Hunter sucks and only a glitched item made it good, don't use it.
elf pusy
I prefer artificially ripe & augmented Jae gash.
>not cillia-lined Cassia pussy that makes you see colors when you nut
The only way to be sure is to sample all three:
>Forbidden, inhumanely tight and lubricate elf pussy
>Cybernetically augmented, vibrating, pump function smuggler pussy
>Mutated, tentacled psionic starburst pussy
And then the best one is holy and blessed nun pussy. But you can't frick that one.
>Stick your dick in Argenta while on shore leave on a paradise world
>Get a vision of the Emperor midway through
>"Trader. Nut as deep as you can, and I'll take care of the rest."
>Obey the Emperor, finish, and impregnate Argena with triplets while a sunbeam of holy light surrounds you two lovers
>Look up at the sky and see pic related
Best timeline and best waifu.
>Emprah himself blessing the sex
That reminds me of Arue and Desna filling the room with flowers after the first time.
we could have had it so good bros....cucked by owlcat again
>Amiri
>Nenio
>Now Argenta
It's like they're doing it on purpose.
>Nenio
have a nice day
>Nenio
kys Black person
>Emperor
The euphoric r*dditor wouldn't help you with that, m8.
>Doubting that the Emperor cares about his faithful
Argenta would have the most normal and plain pussy, but the sheer religious fervour, physical strength, stamina and high-tier motherly instincts would combine to milk the biggest nut you've ever experienced out of you. A+ for effort.
>Fricks like a dead fish, the trauma might just outright kill her because MUH ELDAR EMOTIONS
>Prone to mechanical mayhaps, will lead to involuntary castration
>Will mutate mid-frick and fuse you to her at the crotch. Existence will he extremely painful.
what's the best setup to turn Pasqal into a plasma monster
I hear this game is kinda buggy. Is it bad enough that I should wait or is it okay to dive in right now?
Just wait if you're not feeling a massive urge to jump in homie it's not that stable yet
The first 3 acts are pretty stable, running through 4 right now, much better than it was before. Haven't reached 5 on my 2nd yet
>The first 3 acts are pretty stable
That still depends on the routes and builds you use tbh for act3
Fair
>kill the ugly beggar in the first meeting
>he's just chilling on the street later showing off your boots
>you picked a glass cannon sniper for your build and abelard is weak as frick from debuffs, but you have to start the first fight surrounded with no gear
>kill and behead the commisar the first second you meet him
>he's just chilling in a cage later saying his throat hurts (lol)
>get into a storybook event with the flying homosexual
>all of the % chances display incorrectly and you never know what to pick
The fencing gloves are so fricking absurdly good. My whole squad got downed but me, then my MC parried 16 attacks in row, and solo the fight
Also is there a way to screw yourself in romance without realising it? Because some of the dialogue options seems to irritate and amuse my treasonous elf at the same time
>The fencing gloves are so fricking absurdly good
Weren't they boots?
SEX. SEX WITH THE VOX MASTER.
How do you fight the Forgefiend on the cursed ship?
Shooting until it died worked for me.
Have everyone by the door while your tank talks to the altar guy.
Kill the adds first. Then throw everything you have at it while praying your tank can absorb the extra attacks.
>Didn't tell Pascal to tear the xenotech out when he was dying on the street
>Didn't get an option to trade shit to elf frankenstein to have him take it out
>can't find any options in dialogue with him to see about removing it
Do I just need to toybox to get this shit out of my techpriest now?
Toybox is Omnissiah, praise it
Pasqal doesn;'t need a tox flamer, he spits sick burns already.
My favorite is when you first enter footfall bar and Idira tries to joke with him, only to get the burn of the century.
Just have him get downed and then trauma replaces it. No issue with it and when given choice did not go heretek in his act v quest.
Time to fly back and forth until demons attack and he can shake hands with a bloodletter
How many years in the isocubes would the arbites companion give your RT for soulmelding with an Eldar?
He can't do shit I'm behind seven Nomus
>isocube
You're getting a shotgun lobotomy. The mind will be made free of xenos taint so that the soul may yet be saved by the Emperor. This will naturally be done after the ritual destruction of said xenos in a public and painful manner, which may included any or all of the follow; disembowelment, flaying, scourging, burning at stake, dismemberment, eye gounging, scalping, hanging, and/or acidic liquidation.
...I have a permit.
>RT yelling AM I BEING DETAINED as the Arbites drags him off to the isocube.
RT is legitimately a sovereign citizen though.
Some talent seem pretty useless
>Lasgun talent is useless since no one gonna use Lasgun into mid game
>Brace for Impact talents since the person with it not gonna stand near the team most of the time.
Afaik the high end Dark Eldar guns are all lasers so the talent applies to them and there's a few really good ones like the Ghost Lasgun from the Inquisitor wreckage.
Brace shouldn't be a one time use. Give it a cooldown, goddamn.
Unfortunately, only Argenta gets to turn her ability in a multi use.
You know, if AM Argenta wasn't so broken, Master Tactician Argenta would be OP as shit with her essentially doing War Hymm every turn while also making everyone shoot a target.
She's busted. Meanwhile Ulfar sucks ass. His built-in charge doesn't even work.
Wait what's the Brace for Impact ability?
that blue shield ability thing that abelard has. the one that you can only use once per fight
Oh that.
I take the one talent that makes it so it gives deflection or cover or whatever it is and activate it once per battle whenever it's most appropriate.
It's free anyway and that's about the only use I've thought of for it.
Preventing melee superiority can be a really nice bonus since it can save some talents technically
Pretty meh ability since abe gets it and typically is mid in the initiative. Supposed to be your "oh shit we got ambushed" panic button but it only lasts one turn. If you had it on a high initiative character it could be really good.
How do you perfom "collison" attacks/moves ?
Attacks that push enemies like forceful strike from Warrior and Kick from Arch Militant as well as Force Grenades.
Oh it means those type of attacks, shieet, well Abelad just got an upgrade for his thunder hammer
It's ok for a little while but doesn't really scale, it's applied to the damage from when they hit walls and other stuff like that after being knocked away so you need to succesfully push them and the damage doesn't really get affected by all the multipliers your regular hits get.
I will respec the yiffer into soldier arch militant and I will force myself to like it
>Colony improvement requires almost 30k Kasbah rep
Is this bugged? Seems absurdly high for Act 2. This shit can wait, right?
Most upgrades can wait. Every colony can have 10 upgrades, and while some only unlock far later, you can eventually fill them all out to almost fully 10/10/10 across the board.
Get the things you think will be useful. Anything that blocks off a later upgrade will be in the same act.
If a tier III upgrade requires a tier II, a tier V will require a tier IV, and so on.
I see. No rush then. I already got the ones I want.
colony management is pointless. It's only purpose is juicing up your RT with talents from the various events.
>It's only purpose is juicing up your RT with talents from the various events.
Do those even stick? I have some stuff show up in the reputation menu as permanent buffs but never anything from the colony events.
check your Rogue Trader's talents, they popped up there for me
Why did they waste time with dogmatic options right after you already picked the iconoclast course for things to follow?
Good to know ty.
Should I change Argenta's starting weapon with a regular bolter
Just bought the game after hesitating for a while
gonna sleep and start playing tomorrow 🙂
How are you supposed to beat this?
We're gonna need a lot of promethium.
Shooting it with a gun the retroactively deletes your existence.
Retcons and IoM plot armor
Silent king will save us.
Rhana Dandra
Ork boyz will sort it out
Legitimate possibilities for nids, not just Leviathan:
>Silent King and Necron bullshit weapons cut through them like butter
>The Emperor wakes up and does a psychic battle to kill the Hive Mind
>Everyone possible fricks off into the webway and rides it out, Commaragh style
>The Mechanicus gets the most bullshit asspull of a weapon from the writers
LOL
LMAO
>>The Emperor wakes up and does a psychic battle to kill the Hive Mind
Shadow in the Warp
possible fricks off into the webway and rides it out, Commaragh style
There is tyranids planet in the Webway
>>The Mechanicus gets the most bullshit asspull of a weapon from the writers
Are there actually giant tentacles grabbing the galaxy like this? Pretty sure they'd be visible from every single planet in the galaxy.
They're obfuscated by a magic super space old god. Also, I don't think they're explicitly stating that Tyranids come in a galaxy-sized tentacle ship.
>Abaddon did not actually destroy Cadia by growing really fricking huge
More of His lies. Don't fall for it
We coat all biomass in the galaxy with capsaicin. Tyranids cannot handle spicy food.
I can't imagine playing this game in the current state on console without Toybox. How are you console cucks holding up?
I waited for the last patch before starting chapter 3, things have been goofy and slightly irritating so far but I haven't hit anything gamebreaking yet. the biggest problem by far is the load times.
>load times
It's bad on PC as well
that's fricking tragic. it really kills my enjoyment of the game. the biggest problem is that they didn't properly limit saves, and xbox has a limit on how much data a game can store, so I constantly have to delete saves to make new saves. and with the long load times on the load menu (lol, lmao), it takes like 30 seconds to delete 1 save. but the new saves keep getting bigger in size, so I end up needing to delete 2 saves to make 1 new one (yes, even quicksaving has this problem). and the real kicker, the game CONSTANTLY freezes up while doing simple things like inspecting an item in your inventory. and when it freezes, it automatically opens the bug report window, which automatically saves your game, which then forces you to spend more time deleting old saves.
It's the same Unityslop cache clearing issue we've seen time and time again. Knowing Owlscat, I can only imagine the spaghetti code that lies under the hood, so I doubt it'll be fixed anytime soon
when are the trannies at owlcat throwing in a hotfix. im still stuck in the arena fight in act 3
A hotfix won't fix your skill issues
no i mean the fight wont even start
>all the heretic options are just 'muahahaha me want power'
vgh, can't be lorgarpilled....
ill stick with my dogmatic priest run
It starts that way but there's some really fun things that happen starting in chapter 3
Does failing compaion quests lock you outta the later ones ? Only asking as I was a dickhead to Abelard in the conclusion of the striking workers event and the quest log has that filed as failed.
adepta sororitas pusy
So I tamed the Forge Fiend on the forgeworld, and it's a huge boon dealing with these Dangerous warp encounters, but Argenta, Heinrix and Pasqal are b***hing about it specifically as if it was on the bridge. Is it supposed to be standing around the bridge somewhere?
Post your favorite recurring bugs

This shit is somehow more fricked than xcom
Trying to attack an enemy and instead attacking the tile under their feet or the tile visible between their legs or between their arms and torso. Also, in smaller rooms, clicking the 4th wall and blasting away at a most invisible ceiling.
Which Navigator ability should I get on Cassia?
The ones that move enemies around and the one that damages them when they move around. Get those first at least.
What exactly does Bounty Hunter do? Mark a target and everyone try to kill that target for bonus?
Do Japs like WH40K? Primarchs, Horus Hersey and whatnot is all quite anime; seems like something they'd be into.
I hardly see Jap 40k fanart so probably not.
No. It’s peak anglocore aesthetic. Japs typically view it as brutish and ugly, for obvious reasons.
The primarchs are all men. Gender swap them all and suddenly 40k would be flooded with japs and fan art of primarchs committing incestious acts with each other.
Games Workshop has stores for Warhammer in Japan, but it's extremely niche.
>Go into a random basement in rykard minoris
>Get absolutely demolished by 20 cultists and the first daemons you can encounter
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUHHHHH
filtered
Yes, actually
Help me out
There are 5 ways to get into that basement.

Can you save both imprisoned party members in Commoragh?
yes
How?
You ask for one back from the hommunculus to help complete the guy's goals. He won't give out the second one.
After shit goes south, but before the hommunculus flees the coop, ask for your second one, to get them out of his hair.
Phrase both like you're helping the evil bastard, and he will be faster to part with them.
The time you get the 2nd is also a good time to get Ulric if you haven't convinced him to free the Space Wolf yet.
At least that's how it worked for me. I'm sure that there's other ways to convince him to alter the timetables, but I didn't get the chance.
You can just get both back at the same time when he panics.
Yrliet is a fricking monster with that rifle.
want to go here
Have you tried?
In Act IV, am I supposed to be able to instantly spam build a shitload of colony projects beyond the limit of the visible squares? This feels like an egregious glitch.
Pros and cons of shooting the xeno elvish b***h where she stands?
>pros
>she won't stink up your ship
>doesn't constantly b***h during combat
>your exotic pet won't unnerve the serfs
>no chance to betray you with its deceitful Xenos ways
>cons
>you have to make a generic sniper party member that won't have as high a BS or her unique ability and talents to replace her
I feel kinda bad for her though, she did help me and the governor.
I'm starting to think I'm not cut out for this whole dogmatic thing.
>and the governor
You have already lost your way and shall pay dearly for your transgressions
>I feel kinda bad for her though
Don't worry I felt the same way, that is until she got catcalled by a lady on my ship and proceeded to act like she was raped before calling everyone (including you) animals. Jimmy had a nice talk to her and I haven't seen her since.
Holy crap, these abominable xenos surely know how to make weapons.
I feel temped to take aeldari or drukhari proficiency on almost every character.
>Rate of fire 1
lmao
lol
Capping Arch Militant damage bonus would reveal Argentagays for how little they actually understand the game.
It's accurate.
I have two question. what position give psykers the most amout of freedom other that inquisition and rogue trader? and could psykers be declared saints?
Some high librarian or some shit I guess.
Space marine Librarian. I couldn't name any off the top of my head.
Champion of Tzeentch
Kek
>Inquisition has been dispatched to your location.
How in the hell am I supposed to fight this Drukhari space battle dogshit encounter where every turn they just spawn in 3+ more ships? I've been upgrading the shit out of my hull but it doesn't matter.
You download Toybox and press ctrl+q
If it's the one everyone has trouble with, that particular one can be done later.
You eventually unlock a second ship that helps you out, and it helps that particular battle a lot.
Also, torpedoes are king against Drukhari.
I have the extra ship from one of the colony developments, and it doesn't do much. It dies pretty quickly.
Then, at that point, you might just not have either good enough weapons to do damage fast enough, or the right set of abilities to take advantage of.
Of course, it might be you needing to git gud, but that is a hard fight, even when you know what you're doing.
>Also, torpedoes are king against Drukhari.
This. The ult that allows shooting three torpedoes at once absolutely evaporates them.
Wait until you get the deldar raid on your colony with 6 frigates. That one is a ball of fun
should I?
Yes, she touches your fingertips if you do, very cute.
I like how janky the animations are. She actually, literally gives you her hand when you go soak up your feet with her.
>Called Cassia pretty to boost her confidence a bit
>She's now in love with me and gave me a book on courtship of noble ladies
Damn I really digged myself too deep, I don't wanna make the fish sad.
You could say you've hooked her.
He doesn't need one, he just needs to be an Ork and add some Orkish flavour to situations the player encounters throughout the game.
I disagree, but you do you.
He should have his own story and goals that works in tandem with the trader.
He doesn't need a deep goal. He's in it for the scraps (the trada knows where the best fighting's at). Maybe if the trada becomes a daemon prince, triarch protector or.something he strikes out to become a Kaptin.
Should you visit every system again in chapter 4?
Or do rumors and quests cover all the new content you can find?
Reminder that Sororitas are the Imperium's tiktok soldier girls
Crazy to think this youtuber was a pedo.
That's incredible.
He didn't really figure it out either, Big E's plan was just stealing shit from the Eldar.
They should have set the game in Jericho Reach, not Koronus.
Reminder that Sororitas are Great Unclean One rape meat.
I just want a game where I can exterminate Imperial meatwaves with superior anime robot technology like it's Rorke's Drift again.
Reddit is down the hall and to the left.
Seethe impcel, your Imperium will be squatted and replaced with a democratic republic ruled by Girlyman and Yvraine's transgender son before the decade is out.
Not even GW cares about Yvraine.
>democratic republic
Done that before, didn't work out too well
Now kiss.
Dawn of War.
>attack the eldar girl on Janus
>she just braps and runs away
>don't even get any dogmatic points
lame
violence against women is not dogmatic, chud
She is a filthy xeno and thus deserves death.
Beware the alien, the mutant, the heretic.
Is it bugged or am I doing something wrong?
>killed eldars on Janus
And also maybe the heretic cult there too maybe?
Yeah, that too.
Toybox is is mostly accurate, except the very first set of answers:
> Sure let's talk
> What's the hell are you doing
> Assassination REEEEEEE
All of them are marked as MercyCounter-1, but it's actually remains at zero.
My guess the counter was supposed to get set to some initial value after this first answer — which is probably 2 for civilized answer and 1 for hostile ones.
The rest answers work as toybox shows, except you do indeed get Scarlet at -1 and White at 0, -2, -3 and -4. I could've get it below -4 or above 0 without editing it in toybox.
Something is clearly fricked here.
It's not possible the way the dialogue variables are currently set up.
At most you can get the red one if you pick the right options.
Plot choices don't matter either unless you killed Henry X.
>At most you can get the red one if you pick the right options
Oh cool! I had thought I fricked up by not getting black during my iconoclast adventures.
Which makes it more surprising considering I was also half heretical.
I need a cheat that automatically passes all skill checks
git gud
Is savescumming for 1 hour git gud enough?
In the options menu you can make skill checks easier to pass.
Just role play as a fricking idiot, problem solved.
When do I get to fug the fish? I've smooched her every opportunity, told her that loving me is more important than her stupid house and had her sleep in my bed.
After her act 4 quest
I'm currently on act 2 and I stumbled onto a planet with multiple CSM and a hellbrute, I don't know how you are meant to fight it legit, I ended up just abusing elusive shadow to murk the cultists and used a buffed up alebard/cass/agentata to deal with the CSM stuffed away in some corner to avoid the hellbrutes instant kill volley fire
You sure that's act 2? I've never seen this.
Also, witnessing my dodge man get raped and my deflection tank get bofo'd, it does worry a bit how am gonna fair past act 2
fml, it's obscured, but the system is called The frozen prince
Were you following some rumour?
I'm pretty sure I checked every single system and landing spot in Act 2 and never saw any CSM encounters.
Same.
I've also explored everything and never seen it.
>I'm currently on act 2 and I stumbled onto a planet with multiple CSM
Where?
Why am I, the Rogue Trader, possessor of a Warrant of Trade, heir to the Von Valancius dynasty, forced to partake in "romance"t? Why can't I simply order Abelard to send a harem of e-girl concubines or something up to my quarters?
>Abelard, send that class of Sororitas ear-marked Progena to my chambers along with the oil, whips and candy
Is that even legal? Can a rogue trader do that?
LOL, the average noble gets up to more perverted shit than that. Why do you think Slaanesh cults are such a common thing among imperial nobility?
You have millions, nay billions of serfs.
So yes it's legal and yes you can do it - some of the contracts involve selling people for stuff FFS.
Why is that Viking companion not a gay romance option?
I really lost interest to other games after RT and Pathfinder
Any recommendations?
If you lean more towards combat, try Jagged Alliance 3 (with 1.13 patch), Icewind Dale 1+2 or Temple of Elemental Evil.
If you're looking for story, try Arcanum.
I want Argenta yuri so fricking bad bros
On another note, is it just me or are psyker powers kinda lackluster or ass? It’s very likely that i’m moronic or have just been building wrong, but I find there’s very few moments where a damaging psyker power wouldn’t be strictly outclasses by using Gun. I picked pyromacy and feel kinda ripped off
Pyro is one of the highest DPS in the game https://youtu.be/L3VvNM1kNDk
I’m 5 seconds in and I cannot fricking comprehend the amount of soul pouring from this video
Werglia is one of the last Real Gs out there. Throw him a sub
Some of the buffs they can give are pretty crazy. Doubling your AP and shit.
>Switched out Idira for Pasqal for my Iconoclast run because trying to make Yrliet the tech gal feels too dumb
>need to find a new warp knower
>Jae has -30 to Lore (Warp) for some reason
>Picked grim portents (-5 lore (warp)) for my RT's origin (he read a scary book about the warp when he was little and is a coward in general)
>got so scared of it he studied it in depth apparently
Roleplaying is fun. Also Jae is a doctor now.
>he read a scary book about the warp when he was little and is a coward in general
Normal entry point for the Chaos buttslave pipeline.
Lore warp is really hard to get high skill in my opinion. Not much gear to boost it and not enough people who scale with int.
Should only play as a Psyker rogue trader, with Idira and 4 Psyker custom Mercenaries as party members.
Sounds like fun. Spawn in daemons, blow said daemons up with your spacewizard powers only to spawn in more daemons.
A simple skirmish ends up creating a new Great Rift.
Alternate, they're all sanctic. Budget Grey Knights squad has arrived.
>everyone casts word of the emperor, resolve shoots through the roof
Might be a thing with the powers that scale off resolve.
Which is literally all of the sanctic discipline powers, mind you. They all go off of psy rating and resolve.
Rape happens.
>a holy symbol of the Imperium
>primitive
Who let the Yrliet write the equipment codex entries?
Primitive means it's a simple blade or bludgeoning tool when used as a melee weapon.
Air of Authority lets you exponentially increase resolve if you have 2+ officers.
So there are no ways to save knife-ears in three systems in act2?
no, you will have your forced drama and you will like it
It feels extremely dumb to give player multiple choices and skillchecks and stuff only to end all encounters in the same way
>all eldar are dead and it's all monkeigh fault
What's the point of videogame interactivity if you're gonna railroad this hard?
To teach you xenophobia before they start raping and torturing you
Is dual wielding pistols viable?
Any build tips?
>Is dual wielding pistols viable?
Yes
>Any build tips?
Jae will be better than you
From what I've been trying to pull off with Jae, I don't think so.
Maybe you can make it work on a Soldier or Assassin character.
Yrilet might be moron writting-wise, but frick her VA is hot
I just got her and talked to her dad. So far the idea of a defective aeldari reverse double autistic ranger girl seems amusing enough.
No Argenta romance no buy
Just about to finish Gomorragh, didn't encounter any quest breaking bugs there only a few misstranslated dialogue lines, weird camera focus and NCPs speaking as party members.
Is the rest of the game worse?
I don't mind waiting or starting a new playthrough if I'm going to need to fiddle with toybox to finish every other quest.
I wonder how a romanced fish will react to a full heresy playthrough.
There is no reaction, the characters all keep acting the same way. The only differences are the ending slides she kills herself
So I guess Enfeeble just doesn't work?
How do I tank?
I'm thinking of playing a warrior > arch militant stacking armor and parry since vanguard sucks dick. Thing is soldier can build for medium armor+dodge and run n gun is basically charge.
Taunt is great and all but since its a save it usually ends up being a waste of AP
>really enjoyed rogue trader
>decided to try owlcat's other games
>tried pathfinder kingmaker
>game starts
>some moron gnome b***h yappin about heroes and shit
>uninstall
i fricking hate dnd setting so much it's unreal
UHH ACKSHUALLY it isn't DnD
I hated her as well
oh i thought it is lmao, i just chalked up high fantasy with gnomes and bad characters as a dnd game.
WoTR has significantly less gnomes than Kingmaker. And the most important one is Regill, who is the most based companion.
You aren't too off base with your original assessment.
It isn't D&D, it's Pathfinder.
So, basically just D&D 3.5 with the mechanical autism cranked to 11 and a slimy veneer of unveiled progressive ideology smeared over everything.
there should be girl space marines
wouldn't that be kinda cool
wish we had one as a companion
The emperor should be a woman as well. Then all the chaos minions would call us simps of the golden throne.
u need balls (metaphorically) because space marines are all clones of dudes who are clones of another dude
progenoid glands != cloning
>Get a weak lasgun
>Shoot Abelard with it
>Team all gain AP and MP
Is the dogmatic path just a murderhobo run? Every time someone looks at you funny you're encouraged to fricking execute them right where they stand no questions asked.
No its more of a religious Judge Dredd run.
Judge Dread the Karl urban one
Which spyker power is good? I try Pyromancer but It barely do more dmg than lightning
https://www.rrproducts.com/spyker-power-seeder-rsps120-4510.html the I guess the seeder could be pretty cool.
Psykers just get mogged by navigator powers
Only powerful psyker is sanctic officer being buffed by a 2nd officer
They're all good. Sanctic is low wp ungabunga using resolve and buffing. Telepathy on idira is really straightforward and scales unbelievably hard with pr. Biomancy buffs are good the heals suck. Divination is all buffs but they're pretty good. Pyro is not as easy to use like telepathy but is fun
Man I love all these random encounters where ulfar cant get out of the entrance of the room because it's all 1 space chokepoints.
This has been a known weakness of astartes for generations.
How do you build Indria?
Airlock door spec
Get your basic operative stuff to stack exploits. You won't need things like ballistics etc. But don't invest in any operative abilities. Analyze enemies/expose weakness is all you need. Go bounty Hunter after. You only benefit from a couple of things there so use your bounty hunter levels to get more psyker talents. All the telepathy damage ones are great.
You wear unsanctioned gloves, spam all your psycasts for cheap during first round of combat. Hope your head doesn't explode. Get a couple of pr boosting peril/phenomena and then go to bursting heads for the 500 damage.
Is Psyker power scale with Willpower?
Only for Black folk that can't read
Telepathy and pyro scale damage with wp yes
I went all in on perils and made a warp gambling build
How many companions do you lose if you go full heretic?
is this the point in the thread where grogs and zoomies start arguing over "nulore"?
Man the Templar Calix are so cool.
Literally Dark Heresy Jedi Knights, wish I could play one.
I tried to envision my dude as a Templar Calix trained melee battlepsyker and had a blast with Bio/Div/Sanctic by end game
I wish we got a renegade marine
Can I start chapter 4 already?
whoops haha sorry
hope you don't mind me chucking that pretty stone you have there into the cicatrix maledictum 🙂
Dumb elf slipping in the blood of my enemies again. Help her up and take that warp damned stone from her, wouldn't want it to damage her spirit stone.
>can't commission a custom made sexbot-wraithguard and install her spirit stone in it
gay
poor gillette.
Part of me wanted Yrliet and RT to nake Eldar more popular or at least liked more, and I feel like the exact opposite has happened.
Owlcat should have given us a eldar extradite instead of a craftworlder. Since the extradites already gets too little attention.
Exodites literally never leavr their planets unless absolurely needed. They also attack pretty much anyone who lqnds on their planet who isn't a Craftworld Eldar or Harlequin.
You do get dino riding elfs though.
The exodites reason to leave with you could be to find out why and how someone stole the sun from her solar system, dooming her planet to die out.
Yep. Shame they've decided to show eldar in the most stereotypical way possible. There is no winning for the eldar I suppose.
>In RT
That's just their entire existence.
Such is life for the Eldar.
The samr Alaitoc which had to beg a random minor Marine chapter to not massacre them completely in the Path of the Eldar books?
>had to beg
>"How many thousands have died already?" whispered Alaitin. "How many of your warriors have fallen to clean the blood from this man’s hands, Chapter Master?"
>The boom of the pistol caused Aradryan to jump. De’vaque’s head disappeared in a cloud of blood and bone and his headless corpse collapsed to the pavement.
>"Too many," snarled the Chapter Master. "Call off your ships and I will cease the attack".
The same Alaitoc who drove invaders out of their homeworld reducing their numbers to 300 marines
The same Alaitoc who cleaned the mess after Idranel, Gabriel and Macha
>Craftworld gets abstolutely reamed in their own book
>"B-but they didn't REALLY beg!"
>almost wiped out by a single Battlefleet + one chapter of discount smurfs
yeah nah
What factions are worth trading with? I know explorators have some nice loot and colony projects but who else?
Toybox all of them, you're not getting enough rep for a single maxed one unless you grind warp events. Owlcat is fricking moronic as usual.
Owlcat is moronic but you Black folk cheat everything these days
I'm not saying you should just grab yourself the best gear and make a perfect build at level 5. But faction rep requirements is clearly overtuned as hell, and even with it maxed you still gonna meet the profit factor to buy the really good stuff.
You could get 2 plus navy in the release version to max by early-mid act 4. I agree on the respec cost being bullshit but what you're suggesting is absolutely cheating in a game that's already fairly easy to break.
They nerfed the max rep requirements. At the end of act 4 I had drusians, tech priests and navy maxed.
What's the difference between plasma and melta torpedoes? And what's the difference between normal torpedoes and "short-burning" ones?
I think the short-burning ones last less turns
Short-burn torps are more maneuverable and have one turn less runtime. Melta torps just hit harder. afaik.
How do I get more point for the navy and get better ships parts?
Are there any good buffs for melee accuracy/dodge reduction?
Or do you have to rely on Exploits + Expose Weakness?
You see Ivanius, when hold boltar like me, you shall never the inaccurate, because of fear of shooting fingers!
The Emperor protects my fingers
Game fixed yet?
It's playable, at least on new saves
>played it on release till bricked in act 4
>restarted few hotfixes later
>bricked 5-6 times
>gave up in cumrag
Define playable. Have the broken traits, items and weird as frick glitches been addressed at all?
