I really wish Arch-Militant had like a line in the status somewhere to designate what type of attack was used last time.
I'm literally pen-and-papering this shit to try to keep the stack going.
I'm not "hating on the default portrait" I'm pointing out that the name and portrait are both the default ones because you obviously fabricated this picture.
You also have a run-on sentence.
It's painfully obvious that you fabricated this, likely through toybox or some sort of unity editing software, and frankly I have better things to do then sit here and argue with you about your garbage forgery.
The whole Shadowheart thing from BG3 really broke people. To have the stereotypical naive girl turn out to be polyamorous.
the alphabet people have really gone too far
Valerie talking about fricking other man on first date and wanting to have sex with you only because you looked similar was a bug?
Or her looking like a man?
Surely it was xD
So let me get this straight, you get the hecking pure virgin you've been wishing for since Kingmaker and yet you STILL shitpost about her, to the point that you have to make up fake screenshots?

Yes, yes, I know, this is the part where you come up with headcanons like "uhhhh you only meet her once a year!" or something like that, but still, you didn't even mention it, why?
Also she doesn't stop loving you, the marriage is political, there was never any love to begin with

Nobody liked Octavia, Valerie was a mess though. The bar talk and her endings really killed her as a romantic option for most people though. The twins salvaged Kingmaker's romances
I think that Nyrissa is supposed to be the canon waifu, not that anyone would go for her since most people on here play dogmatic Lawful Evil (she is the enemy) and her route is almost secret in how many hoops you need to jump through.
By the time I learned she was a romance option I was like 7 wrong decisions in so I didn't care. She only really makes sense as a romance option for a druid, or I guess cleric or ranger, since you have to be simping for her from the onset with the whole nature thing
>since most people on here play dogmatic Lawful Evil
I played Chaotic Neutral based moron, romanced Kanerah and allied with Nyrissa to eternally btfo the Lantern King.
Yup Nyrissa (with this portrait tho) is best and only pure waifu in all owlkeks games.

>fight with Janus' governor >multiple guards that burst fire for a ton of damage and spam stun grenades, plus a b***h summoning a daemonette every turn >send CHADBELARD in to tank and just counterattack everything to death with his thunder hammer while elfu snipes and I give moral support as any good officer would
>sneak around to the perfect spot >position perfect at battle start >watch as elfu + Cassia redo ability destroys the summoner without her getting to act a single time
It was glorious
>instantly starts cat-fight with Pasqal about who should loot Yrlet craftworld
Tbh I think changing of system and setting was a huge contribution to Owlcat
You can save a mega generator and nobles/plebs. If you save the plebs, they will start ACKing themselves on your ship in the most bizarre way and will also give a status that I still don't know what really does.
Goddamn it!
IS EVERYONE ON THIS GODDAMN PARTY EXCEPT THE ELF AND THE NUN STUPID ABOUT CHAOS?! Why the frick did Pasqal that the heretik fellow with his name's cogitator. That's asking for goddamn trouble!
holy frick i just spent like all day on Footlocker back and forth because I did not understand there was a button in the lower right hand corner of the solar system map that took me to zoom out one level and start warping around
the warp effectively works in the same way animism works the older and more symbolically important something is the more power it holds in the warp, and in Black crusade their rules for corrupting imperial relics and the more important it is the bigger the pay out from the god's favor, so something like a legally aquired RT warrant from the era when emps was handing them out would be a frickton points of infamy
Not sure about you guys but after the finale of the first chapter getting to dab on a CSM in chapter 2 with a single heroic action turn is very fricking cathartic. ~400 dmg to a single target from a single turn, from turn 2 feels mad to me, doubly so that my psychic ass actually refunded enough AP to get off like 8 casts in a single turn with no perils.
Yrliet literally announced to me that her mission not more than 20 minutes ago was to weaken the monkeigh so that they may kill eachother en masse, and not a single dialogue option I have acknowledges this
It's all like "really, slaanesh? We must stop that!" and nothing to tell her "what the frick, you wanted to do what to my planet?"
How do you find that if you don't mind explaining?
From last thread but
>Yeah you needed to have a convo with her in your quarters and get her "you have muh craftworld relics hidden!" rant out of her system
>That was how I did it during beta, but things might have changed. >Theodora killed her craftworld, and she has a damn eldar trophy locked in her secret room, the same one you get access to with the heretic decision in prologue. >If you dont have the conversation with Yrliet, she finds that shit while sneaking about and assumes YOU killed her craftshit and betrays you to the drukari. If you have the convo she won't, but a crewmember does it instead >But as I said, that was beta, might go different now

>Sword of faith nominally unlocks at level 31 after getting psi rating 3 >The earliest ability unlock you get past that point is exemplars level 40 node
Okay what the actual frick, are you serious right now owlcat.
Gonna wait to actually commit to a game until some build guides come out, right now there's no way to fully respec and finding out you shat away points in X when Y was better sucks, and you still can't choose a different initial archetype.
>there's no way to fully respec
Just talk to the fat frick on your bridge, moron. Unless you mean that you can't pick a different starting class, but that's because the companions are built for flavor. Any starter can be busted as shit with the right feats anyway.
I mean full respec double moron, I know I can repick abilities but you can't change your homeworld, darkest moment, background, or initial archetype. If you picked soldier, you're stuck with soldier, if you did noble, you're stuck with noble. Some of these options blow ass. >that's what companions are for
Frick that, I want to be a charismatic psycher who wins shit with diplomacy and explodes heads in the name of the God-Emperor.
>wtf why doesn't the game let me completely change my character on the fly
Disdain. Disdain for plebs. You're supposed to roleplay the character you made. The game is as hard as you want it to be, so you can just lower all the sliders if you're getting buttblasted.
Voltann would just be a dwarf which while everyone loves dwarfs its kind of a waste. A tau could be interesting given their ideology and shit I guess if written well. Necron could be the greatest but they could also make it a very boring >Oh I wish I still had my soul. Im so forgetful I forgot my wife's face. Im sooooo old.
I unironically want an Ork Freeboota who's as big as the Space Wolf.
Rogue Traders are one of the only places you can find legitimate Ork mercenaries, it is an actual thing.
I envision him as a Nob (hence the size), with a handful of unique Ork weapons including a hook on one hand that you might eventually replace with a Power Klaw or something.
An Ork Freeboota Nob would be perfect for a large sized melee fighter. That or an Ogryn. Or, if they really wanted to be KINO, Owlcat could start the Ork medium sized and give him a talent at high levels that increases his size to large
>heretic
take the reactor and dip >the other two
nuke it
it's an infinitely kinder mercy to kill everyone not corrupted than allow a daemon world to torture their souls forever
Some may question your right to destroy ten billion people. Those who understand know that you have no right to let them live.
The heretic option is to take nobody and nothing and just leave without blowing up the planet
Pretty well. Votann and CWEldar generally don't mine one another (ie: less likely to kill each other on sight), and there's a degree of mutual respect between the two. There's no deep seated hatred like there is towards the Imperium.
Imperium backstabbed a bunch of them during a major Tyranid incursion, allowing for the Tyranids to bust through. Most of them died, and the Imperium hunted down the rest of them and wiped out all traces of their existence. Now, only the ones who've retreated to the core are still around, and they have a major grudge. Most of the time, they're warring against the admech since they're hereteks with abominable intelligences.
Should you do all the colony projects you can? Or do you keep unlocking new tiers and you're fricked for slots if you did the early ones that don't advance the colony?
Because all eldar, especially dark eldar, deserve to suffer in the embrace of the god they created. If I can't feed him to the Dark Prince, I'll just leave him in a cage or maybe kill him when I'm done with him.
Women want to be dominated and are naturally submissive, that's why they get their space elf sadist, wouldn't work if the genders were reversed.
>Women want to be dominated and are naturally submissive, that's why they get their space elf sadist
As a woman (FEMALE) can confirm. Most stories and love interests for women are sexually dominant, however I disagree with your last part: >wouldn't work if the genders were reversed.
It would because a lot of men are femdomgays. Unless you mean reversed for women.

not really, no. the fact that camellia is the least popular romance in wotr is proof of it
can't argue with that
I heard these jabronis will be added, i always thought dead cult assassins to be the goofy part of warhammer lore >I DRESS LIKE A KINKY HOOKER BUT I STABBY STABBY GOOD!
>Men love serial killers(female), too.
False. Valanon, the most autistic waifu collector in history started shilling Cam Cam when he first heard about her. But then he dropped her like a sack of bricks after he found out she killed puppies. Called her a "not wife" filled with "puppy murder nonsense" so he did not like her anon! He did not! I guess he cared about dogs even more than waifus. Who knew?
So I know Tzeentch is a big player in the main quest, but can heretical players deal with the other three at all? Always been more of a Khorne and Slaanesh cultist.
yep, the other three pop up pretty frequently (the first main planet in Chapter 1 is controlled by a Slaaneshi cult) and a Heretic RT can do quests for some neat stuff from all four
she didn't. valerie from kingmaker did and now he's taking out his anger and frustration on people whose waifus aren't as godawful as valerie. surprised he's not going after male characters too tbh
>forces the entire crew to hear the slapping of the RT's massive, Emperor-blessed endowments against her, and asserting her dominance on other women >making sure everyone knows that she belongs to you, and that she wants to be punished in bed by you >Cassia will have to imagine the giant slab of meat in your pants whenever she talks to your >Yrielet will have to try to not think of the barbaric, primal mon-keigh passion and lust that was emanating from the coupling >Abelard proudly boasting about how hard his Lord Captain FRICKS
Absolutely based Jae, I love bawds now.
The rules for Freebooters in the TTRPG actually mention the upkeep necessary to keep that from happening. Which involves the use of flamers in potential contamination zones. Basically having a Freebooter means you will have significantly more upkeep.
This game's a bit schizo with how it wants you to approach dogma sometimes.
You're almost always encouraged to go "frick chaos, destroy it all" except when the Heinrix's shit is concerned. Because it's totally true that inquisitors are above it. Totally. Completely. No inquisitor has ever fricked with chaos one step too far.
So far 90% of Cassia's inputs into conversations are >Your colors are wack and you are broke ass pleb. RT... we are leaving.
Is this how it's going to be for the rest of the game?
I think my game is fricked. I left Kiava and now everything breaks the game. Load the world map, crash. Go to voidship bridge, crash. Reload the save, crash.
All the characters freaking the frick out when (real) Aurora shows up was nice. Argenta and Jimmy knowing exactly what he is - Argenta going berserk, and Jimmy deciding you’re all fricked
Cassia and Id not knowing but getting spooked by what they see
Abelard and pasqal not seeming to recognise exactly what he is but realising this is nightmarishly dangerous, and Abelard telling you to get behind him while he buys time…
This just makes me want a Freeboota even more
Imagine while everyone else is freaking out about their imminent deaths, your pet Ork gets excited for a good scrap
Abelard literally face tanked this little b***h, it's kinda lore breaking watching a ragtag group of humies already killing Space Marines in the very first chapter
>ragtag
The Magos should be able to solo him both in lore and tabletop. Navigator and Unsanctioned Psyker are also fricking busted lorewise.
But yes, Abelard should get ripped literally in half on the first melee attack that hits. It's a game, what can you do?
>Beating the final boss of Kiava gamma by chaining finest hour! to daring breach on the vanguard tanking all 3 bosses to also kill all 3 bosses plus 2 extra chaff at the end.
Oh man thats an addictive feeling, clearing a boss fight with no injuries is the cherry on top, hell they were barely doing double digit damage to him so I must have been doing something right.
>Ambush on Footfall >Expect a simlle clean fight >Idira goes to buff an ally >Instantly blows up and spawns a fricking Bloodletter
I mean Abelard handled it but holy fricking shit
so they say, but so far i've only found a single plasma pistol in the dynamo temple and it's underwhelming. plus his weapon skill is significantly higher than ballistics
Nah, I don't care about being op since I'm on normal, still on act 1 so it's probably just normal early game struggle.
I might change to single shot pistols instead of burst if it doesn't get better though.
I've been thinking, although I never pick the "Abelard, introduce me" dialogues I feel like they give him a lot of character and he would be a much boring character if the game didn't have them
It's like having a weird reassurance that you can always count on good ol Abelard to watch your back
I never did figure out who it was I think it might have been the servitor that saves the daughter, who's actually her mother. Dad sounds like a piece of shit enough to turn his wife into a servitor.
Beach and handkerchief
By weird progression I mean that 5 seconds after departing from her recruitment quest I get a library scene, where she leaves the courting book. I can ask her about relationship but can do nothing but break up until much later.

ive been going through art sites and cant really find anything that fit the bill
>there are people who's argentas aren't bugged
must be nice
mine wouldn't let me pick that talent so she gets the flamer/sniper combo for the time being
Why do brainlets think Cassia is bugged? the achievement is called "A Spark" which is exactly what it is.
You don't even handhold or kiss her yet. It's literally stage 1 of noble's courting.
What bugs have you experienced so far? For me, it's: >T-posing NPCs >broken abilities >soft-lock on Eurac >enemies firing through walls and z-axis >companions unable to complete turns forcing a restart
hard lock Rykad Minoris if you choose the wrong dialogue option in the electroplant.
The quest objective fails to kill the heretics holding the tech priest prisoner fails if you choose to go in guns blazing (it simply doesn't update and fails when you speak to the governor)
Some of the talents don't seem to be working. or are displayed incorrectly
>The quest objective fails to kill the heretics holding the tech priest prisoner fails if you choose to go in guns blazing (it simply doesn't update and fails when you speak to the governor)
works on my machine, a cutscene triggers when there's a few enemies left in battle where the captive priest causes a massive electric wave that finishes off the rest of the heretics
>where the captive priest causes a massive electric wave that finishes off the rest of the heretics
this scene didn't trigger for me. i just killed them on and the quest when ahead as usual, except that specific objective failed. also the power field wasn't disabled after the fight even though it should have been
Hard lock after Kiava if you choose the Dogmatic option, other than that just some graphical bugs and the fact that the Wanderers Portent rifle isn’t equippable by any character
>enemy can shoot me through full cover >i cant shoot him back >use 'secondary weapon heroic ability for free attack' on pasqual (left hand is melee, right hand is gun. he is unique in that you do not need to press X to swap to his 2nd weapon), but it simply does not shoot
No im pretty sure it's a bug because it appears after a certain point, it's actually tied to camera movement. You can check it. I'm if it's an actual fricking sound design choice then I can't wait for nails on school board immersive sound in the next title.
So is Grand Strategist the worst archetype?
Having to deal with finicky zone placements that you need line of sight to use seems like a chore to do at the start of each combat.
I feel like Grand Strategist is better the more of them you have, since you can pepper the encounter map with different zones. That's just my take on it, mind.
It's literally AP free buffs. They don't have to cover everyone, just check the status of the Black person who is in the zone to know which one he is in and the Frontline zone is the biggest one by default. The Tactician's infinite dumptruck meme stacking is going to be fixed, you know.
I feel like grand strategist really benefits from a voidborn biomancer psyker. Can double dip on int to not have to waste points on fellowship. Can then take combat locus stratagem and Deterioration talent to just make frontline into a massive frick you take like 50% increased damage zone and not worry about messing with the other zones. Add in enfeeble to make it even better.
Why do brainlets think Cassia is bugged? the achievement is called "A Spark" which is exactly what it is.
You don't even handhold or kiss her yet. It's literally stage 1 of noble's courting.
I think it's just a later trust conversation since he has a different response to the same question that leads down that dialogue tree. All of the companion conversations were front loaded in the beta.
>Have you seen all the men i hang out with all the time, always fighting and killing >after we return from a mission we all take showers together >it is our honor to lick each other clean as wolves are wont to do >all the sweat and blood, the taste of your brother in your mouth and his scent in your nose
a woman can never understand
it ranges from terrible to the worst part of the game
you have no idea how strong the enemies are before encountering them, they can flee but you can't, and you almost always are outnumbered and go last every turn
maybe it gets better after you have overpowered shit but when it's first introduced it gets old quick
i really really hate timed objectives in kingmaker
and im not sure but the fact I have 3 planets to go to tells me I'm probably going to be able to save 2 of them and have to sacrifice a 3rd
you waste less time with it set to easy than with it matching your regular difficulty since you're killing ships in two or three shots and never dying yourself
>they uninstall my beta steam game >never send me my product key for the full release >cant login to my account because frick keeping track of this dumb owlcat account ill use once >reset password doesnt actually send me a link >send an email to support that goes unanswered for a week now
if it's a don't give a shit account then you should be using an easy to remember throwaway password you use for everything of that kind. i only use autistic passwords for things i care about and stay logged into 90% of the year.
I'm lucky enough that's I've only seen a couple bugs in my 10 hours of playing and they weren't game breaking. If any of my talents or skills are not working I haven't noticed.
Being a chaosgay is just moronic
Even if you are an evil c**t who just wants to collect Janus tithes and food, letting the cult survive is an objectively dumb decision, they are harming the production with their bullshit and causing rebellions.
So uh whats even the main plot of this game? Is it a series of random adventures where you loot xenos for fun or is it more of theres ANOTHER chaos invasion and its your job to stop it.
There is an overarching chaos plot, but it plays like a series of misadventures, or at least that's how it has been up until now for me (act 2)
Xenos are involved and a big part of the various plots
Side quest can greatly range in variety
Building up your trade empire is also important.
kind of want to not have her swoon over my dick.
or does it not change much in terms of dialogue besides her being all "you brighten my day lord :^3" when you start a conversation
I think the only thing that is "broken" is "Lets talk about us," line just should not be there. You can't really do anything until much later. Maybe it's there so that people wouldn't complain that you can't break up with her or shut down the romance.
>cast finest hour on Argenta with a flamer >her attacks cost 0 AP for some reason so I can unload the full mag, reload and unload the full mag again
I'm not sure this is how it's supposed to work but sure why not.
i have a feeling they're gonna kill pain channelling. it makes idira ridiculously good. free guaranteed damage regardless of los and distance. it's busted
I'm not a particularly big voice acting snob, but this game has almost none at all. Would it really have been that hard to get people for a few more of the important characters in the story?
>Yrliet tries to praise Heinrix for not falling into the Tzeentch temptation and using the future prediction machine >Heinrix just tells her to frick off with the xeno shit
It's actually hilarious how little they get along.
I love my cute socially inept fishwise. Also I'm beginning to wonder if the people in this planet are dumb, incompetent or just plain apathetic because really they're calling the elf a mutant?
Alright lads on a scale 1-10 how fricking dumb and probably ooc would I be to have the Deldar join me as an iconoclast? I like having an evil person in my party and I need a bit more conflict in it than jimmi and the other knifear
Which party members stay if I go full heretic? Also, would they leave from me just picking heretic options until i've got votary or do i have to actively progress the little subplot for the blade shards/hand guard?
an iconoclast wouldn't have any evil in their party so it'll be an 11
tbh i think the rp limit would be tard wrangling idria and letting jae get away with her shit and do damage control
They worship the Omnissiah and pay lip service to the idea the Omnissiah and the Emperor are one and the same. Most of them don't actually believe in the Emperor. Most of the actually clued in Imperials know this but they're also the ones who make all the shit they need so they let it slide.
It's been the cause of a few religious schisms within the Mechanicus on whether or not Big E is the Omnissiah but generally they worship him as the Omnissiah and pay lip service to the Ecclesiarchy because they have an entirely different holy book.
the official line is that the Omnissiah is the God-Emperor as he manifests through the machine spirits, and the Mechanicus worships the Omnissiah with all the zeal of the Ecclesiarchy
whether that's actually true or not is entirely up for debate
They view the Emperor as the earthly manifestation of the Omnissiah. All things considered, I've always thought of them as a private military contractor.
Mostly the later, but since he was so hotshit with tech and is more machine than man now anyway, it's not hard for them to extend the belief that he's a mortal aspect of the Omnissiah.
Frick I can't decide what to do with Rykad Minor, I'm kind of leaning towards saving the reactor but logically bombing the shit out of the planet to cull it in advance makes sense too...
>heretic
take the reactor and dip >the other two
nuke it
it's an infinitely kinder mercy to kill everyone not corrupted than allow a daemon world to torture their souls forever
Some may question your right to destroy ten billion people. Those who understand know that you have no right to let them live.
If you've been at all Dogmatic it's very hard to justify not killing her from a RP standpoint. She literally summoned a daemon ghost to your ship and caused the deaths of hundreds, and will almost certainly do it again. Even an Iconoclast character would probably see it as mercy to BLAM her.
I'm playing iconoclast with some dogmatic and I couldn't think of a single reason not to kill her. I I've executed pretty much every traitor or cultist I've had the opportunity to.
It's 5 acts, enough content for 2 playthroughs trivially because Heretical path is very different from the other 2.
Each act has so far taken me a good night of solid playing to get through.
So if that's about 8 hours per night, maybe more in larger sections, I'd hazard a guess at around 50 or 60 hours a playthrough?
So 100+ hours in total, probably.
Cassia, Argenta, or Mehrene, who is more broken?
You mean personality wise or gameplay wise?
Because Cassia is hilariously OP.
Let me explain why Word Bearers are fricking gay and lame. First of all, they are objectively the most useless during the Horus Heresy. Every time hours were wasted because the troops were busy defacing some monument or sacrificing prisoners it's because of the Word Bearers. Every time an objective is lost because it's all demons and morons running straight in rather than using any kind of intelligent tactics, it's because of the Word Bearers (and World Eaters but they can actually back it up and are cool). Word Bearers simp the hardest for the Ruinous Powers, but they will never be favored by them because they're Chaos Undivided and the Chaos Gods learned to favor servants who are devoted to them alone after Bel'akor's nonsense, like a guy doing really pathetic romantic shit to try to get the attention of multiple girls simultaneously. And those girls have already had Chad frick them all once and leave (Chad being Bel'akor) so they're inherently suspicious. They are more subservient to daemons than any other CSM legion. They seem to have all of the problems of every monogod legion with none of the upsides, and worse, they sit in the shadow of much cooler Chaos Undivided legions even before the more "flavorful" monogod ones who have a more specific flavor of edgelord. They are the religious equivalent of simps. Even Emperor's Children are less pathetic than Word Bearers. Worst of all, Lorgar is one of the absolute worst fighters of the Primarchs and gets clowned on by practically everyone. Perturabo was right to drop friendly fire artillery on them. I won't even post a Word Bearer with this image because I don't want to save a picture of a Word Bearer in my CSM doing cool shit folder, just have the expression Perturabo made when the tungsten hit the ceramite and he told the Word Bearers to "have faith" and keep marching.
Perturabo left after Horus was dead and the entire affair was in disarray, the game was already over, not his fault everyone else wanted to go full moron with daemons and ignore tactics after he carried the entire Heresy on his back and beat the shit out of Fulgrim and Angron to make it happen. Besides, he destroyed the walls Dorn built, and isn't that what really matters?
>Perturabo left after Horus was dead and the entire affair was in disarray, >after he left traitors managed to make some progress
Really makes you think
I'm sorry Turd Bearer that you feel so affronted you have lost all logic at the reminder of your complete inferiority to a Legion that actually beat its rivals and does cooler stuff with daemons than your daemon-simping Legion. I am sorry that you are inferior in every way, from philosophy to logistics, from aesthetics to armaments. However I am not so sorry that I will ignore these obvious truths of which you deserve to be reminded, because your gene-seed is quite literally Essence of b***h. The simple fact is that the Iron Warriors are willing to work with Abaddon because Abaddon sometimes gets things done. Lorgar has never gotten anything done, in fact I cannot think of him accomplishing even one, single thing of note ever. Perturabo hates his children and they hate him right back, which is objectively healthier than the endless chain of simping for those who disdain you which comprises the Word Bearers and their organization. None of this has anything to do with the actual point, which is that after Pertuabo left the siege of Terra...continued to collapse, and "progress" only started getting made when the Black Legion began making moves. Because it turns out prayer is inferior to action, who knew?

Perturabo killed a woman just for talking back to him.
>WAAAAAAAAH I WAS REPLACED BECAUSE I AM RAGGING moron WAAAAAAH! >Morty actually breaks the defense
Perturabo was the one who broke the holes in the walls of the Imperial Palace. Horus' problem was that by this point he had lost any sense of battlecraft and was relying entirely on warpcraft to fight.

Yeah and the one who filled them with marines bodies because Dorn was keeping outsmarting him again and again

Four out of every five Imperial Fists in existence died at the Iron Cage and the remaining one was saved by the Ultramarines. Later Rogal Dorn would pretend he got them all killed on purpose to make them accept the Codex Astartes. Decimation is just 1/10. You can do math, right?

Nice goal post moving.
But how it's related to Pert being complete moron durring Siege of Terra?
>Theodora gets assasinated >damn homie that's crazy >50 hours later >literally did not get an inch closer to what the frick it is about or where the traitor is
Does nobody give a shit about this? What is my crew doing?
Well if you really want to know She was killed with a stub pistol and when Argenta shows up she has one in her second weapon slot
Not gonna read the spoiler but the shit with the sun too, I don't know shit about 40k but Abelard is just like >Damn shit happens
and then nobody talks about it, i am on the last planet of getting the protectorate together after the capital and literally nobody is talking about shit like this.
Companion quests are definetly a step up from wotr but I just want to know what the frick is going on
In 40k extermination of a planet "just in case" is a regular occurrence. A whole system going tips up is no different when there are thousands of them.
>tactician can do massive damage (300%+) >grand strategist can.... give some small buff? >vanguard can do some crowd control and is a little tanky
im gonna respec my psyker/GS into a tactician
>Cassia tells a courier to drop the mental baggage in his life because the stress makes his colors ugly >he goes home and kills his wife and children before blowing his own brains out
I love my fish wife.
>Cassia's endings are freedom, notme and hatred
Okay so which one is the one with the good ending? Freedom I assume? Hatred is obvious, ant notme sounds like the "she gets mindbroken" route which I'm not planning on doing (yet)
>Get to the end of the first fight on the agri world >One of the supposedly allied soldiers dumps a full burst into Cassia's back and sends her to 0 hp
Frick you too, buddy.
You get a slightly better one late act 1/ early act 2 (don't remember), and you can find a much better one on the first Act 2 planet, but don't be too married to her using bolters exclusively. My Argenta currently uses an Autogun as her primary and burstfires 3 times per turn for 8 x 4-9 damage. Arch Militant gets bonkers crit chance.
Anons what are the options for a pasqual in a non heretic run? It seems like he has three paths, Loyal, Ego and Amarnath
I get the first one im not sure what the second two signify. Ego seems like your normal heretek ]option but
Amarnath seems like a different version of disliking change unless im miss interpreting.
Im going iconoclast and want to try to make my retinue better people but not sure what to do with him
Actually, you know what? I have more to say about Lorgar Aurelian and what a b***h-ass motherfricker he is, what a fricking simp pussy this dumb gay bald moron is. After Horus was gone, which Chaos Undivided Primarchs were left to replace him? Konrad was insane and soon dead. Perturabo hates everyone, including his own legion, and just wants to NEET out and build unbreakable fortresses after he conclusively proved he was better than Rogal Dorn at the Battle of the Iron Cage. Alpharius was "dead". Lorgar was the one that actually believed in the cause, believed in Chaos, and what does he do? Fricking nothing, Lorgar sits there like an absolute cuckold and lets a completely regular Space Marine that was Horus' First Captain do the equivalent of frick every single one of his crushes by acquiring the favor of all four Chaos Gods and becoming their champion. Not Lorgar. This isn't just a title, it means Abaddon has all four Chaos Gods JUICING him full of power at all times the way they used to do for Horus, he has their gigablessing, he is their little pogchamp, their bestest boy, their snickerdoodle. The other Chaos Primarchs all don't care, are dead/"dead", or serve the interests of ONE Chaos God rather than all of them. Not Lorgar though, so he has to kneel down and kiss Abaddon's boot and follow his orders, which is fair because Abaddon has actual accomplishments somehow despite being the setting's designated whipping boy. Lorgar didn't just get cucked, he got cucked by a manlet. A manlet who achieved everything Lorgar ever wanted, who can actually understand the Chaos Gods enough to know the Truth the Word Bearers are constantly fapping to when they aren't betraying each other because a prophecy on their skin said "do it gayit". Even the Word Bearers' horns are gay, they don't get big cool demon horns, they get little Darth Maul cuck spikes because that's all they deserve and that's as far as Chaos gives a shit about their biggest simps.
>Afraid everything is going to unravel when I get to act 4 >Everything up until it has been smooth with only minor glitches >Get to act 4 >Everything unravels
Oh
They already said this game's dlc was only going to include content for the main story
It only took them two games to realize people don't like side story shit
>It only took them two games to realize people don't like side story shit
I liked Varnhold
But honestly, with Warhammer they can milk story-addons and companion-addons almost endlessly (look at TWW)
>It only took them two games to realize people don't like side story shit
I personally don't dislike lower level side story stuff but man they were just straight garbage
jesus christ I am so suspicious of Abelard >just so happens to show up soon as you get out of the Warrant chamber >insists you go check on the Lord Commander causing Edelthrad to die (the original heir) >have a vision calling you a puppet with his form >makes you the new Lord Commander
I am fairly sure he killed Theodora hence why they were caught off guard and no struggle.
That one's actually legit, the servo skull called him. As far as the puppet thing goes afaik very minor spoiler he basically wants to turn you into a figurehead while he manages every aspect of the trade empire because he thinks he can do a better job while also putting his extended family into positions of power.
So, are they going to do the same thing that Wrath did? And frick over our entire goddamn empire when we get shipped to delf town in act III, like how going to demon town ruined us in act IV?
What difficulty should I select if I have some experience with rpgs and strategy games? I am thinking DARING but the game says it's not recommended if you don't have experience with Rouge Trader?
Normal was too easy for me so I swapped to Daring, it says the modifiers ramps up throughout chapter 1 so you should have a better idea of what to do before it actually gets to being harder
I really wish Arch-Militant had like a line in the status somewhere to designate what type of attack was used last time.
I'm literally pen-and-papering this shit to try to keep the stack going.
When in doubt, Wildfire.
Abelard, frick my wife.

Second, you are literally irl npc.
>Fir-ACK!

where can i find more force swords?
Are there any daemon weapons? If I'm going to be a heretic, might as well go all the way.
Yes
I mean, there's the sword
Do you actually get to use it as an item though? My rt is a sniper so they wouldn't get much use out of it.
Abelard find me a navigator who isnt a prostitute
is this real?
Look at the name and portrait.
No, it's not real.
You're just mad that you forgot to replace it.
Nobody names their character "Rogue Trader" lmao.
nah my char has a name but hating on the default portait indicates that you're a moron troony tho
You are lying trying to lure potential customers or what?
>I have better things to do then sit here and argue with you about your garbage forgery
You're really mindbroken huh
>Leave prostitute hurr alone durr
Doesn't matter, I'll ascend to daemonhood before that happens anyway.
The whole Shadowheart thing from BG3 really broke people. To have the stereotypical naive girl turn out to be polyamorous.
the alphabet people have really gone too far
>Shadowheart
Jesus, how new are you? Try Valerie
I think Octavia's romance and the Valerie bug has permabroken the Owlcat community on here.
WTF u are talking about, m8?
She either cuck you, stops loving you or dies/leaves.
prostitute gets best ending.
Frick cuckcats.
>Navigator has Navigator endings
Woah
>believing cuckgay's shit
morons
No one is immune to this. Shit I've been bullying Shadowkeks since August. Good times.
Those endings are real, he's just a shitposter that conveniently left out her actual good ending
>She either cuck you, stops loving you or dies/leaves.
And where is the option where she rejects all marriage proposals and stays with you?
Yes, yes, I know, this is the part where you come up with headcanons like "uhhhh you only meet her once a year!" or something like that, but still, you didn't even mention it, why?
Also she doesn't stop loving you, the marriage is political, there was never any love to begin with
Nobody liked Octavia, Valerie was a mess though. The bar talk and her endings really killed her as a romantic option for most people though. The twins salvaged Kingmaker's romances
What was the problem with Valerie? I did her romance back then and it worked out well.
She's not a virgin and her ending says you two are in no hurry to have kids
Yes, really
Her endings were bugged iirc, and her talk at the bar is just badly written in general and turns most people off her
Valerie fricked a pig farmer one night when she was out drinking, but it was way before you were ever a factor
Whats the name for farmer fethishism?
Fricking wheezing
It's called EMism.
I can't even tell if you've edited it for a laugh or this is simply another piece of owlcuck writing. Beautiful.
I think that Nyrissa is supposed to be the canon waifu, not that anyone would go for her since most people on here play dogmatic Lawful Evil (she is the enemy) and her route is almost secret in how many hoops you need to jump through.
She was always the best kingmaker route. The twins are shallow and barely have any content.
>The twins are shallow and barely have any content
Impressive lack of self awareness
Are you saying I’m shallow and barely have any content
By the time I learned she was a romance option I was like 7 wrong decisions in so I didn't care. She only really makes sense as a romance option for a druid, or I guess cleric or ranger, since you have to be simping for her from the onset with the whole nature thing
>since most people on here play dogmatic Lawful Evil
I played Chaotic Neutral based moron, romanced Kanerah and allied with Nyrissa to eternally btfo the Lantern King.
Yup Nyrissa (with this portrait tho) is best and only pure waifu in all owlkeks games.
>and only pure waifu in all owlkeks games.
Twins
Kanerah is a literal gold digger prostitute who was in a relationship with a noble back in Qadira, you fricking moronic purityBlack person, you don't even know the characters you like
Better, Kalikke says that she often was waking up with different man, her sister had sex with.
And you have to romance a prostitute if you want to start romance with her sister xD
>Kalikke says that she often was waking up with different man, her sister had sex with
No, she doesn't
>you have to romance a prostitute if you want to start romance with her sister xD
No, you don't
Kanerah > Kalikke btw
Yes, you have.
If you dont go to bed with prostitute Kalikke romance wont trigger.
Why do you cuck gays like lying so much?
>Why do you cuck gays like lying so much?
The fricking irony lmao
And no, braindead cuckBlack person, you don't. If you ALWAYS flirt with Kalikke then you can start her romance without the bed event you get after fricking Kanerah, don't believe me? Actually play the game and try it, you'll see it's true, you can even use kingdom resolution to see which dialogue options are flirting and which ones aren't
>And you have to romance a prostitute
A highly skilled treasurer
I swear to god puritygays just post about crpgs and have never actually touched the games
>the stereotypical naive girl
Do you gays even play these games?
shadowheartgays were the worst from day 1 they deserved it, they're even worse thanCamgays
Camgays are based because they are sneedposters of crpg romances.
I unironically dropped her for Lae'zel the moment I found out. I don't mind tumbling a prostitute but if she's gonna do this whole "teehee flowers and stolen kisses uwu" romance shit without telling me until I'm invested that's a massive red flag in a relationship.
lae'zel is ugly and rude. i just killed her
building for action economy is broken as usual
my rando hireling still armed with the longlas from cassia's home station 20+ hours of gameplay ago is still carrying the team
Please give me your build,,,,,,,,,,,
>fight with Janus' governor
>multiple guards that burst fire for a ton of damage and spam stun grenades, plus a b***h summoning a daemonette every turn
>send CHADBELARD in to tank and just counterattack everything to death with his thunder hammer while elfu snipes and I give moral support as any good officer would
I swear the Daemonettes just melted his huge armor% tbh
>sneak around to the perfect spot
>position perfect at battle start
>watch as elfu + Cassia redo ability destroys the summoner without her getting to act a single time
It was glorious
I'm gonna marry Jae
Best choice
Funny how that works
>instantly starts cat-fight with Pasqal about who should loot Yrlet craftworld
Tbh I think changing of system and setting was a huge contribution to Owlcat
see, i would like her if she wasn't so ugly
Oh no no no
turns out you can turn a hoe into a housewife
but only in the 41st millennium
This is a lot better than the Pathfinder games so far
What even happens in Jae’s romance
she broadcasts you fricking her to the entire ship and Abelard compliments your dick game
give it to me straight, is there ever a point in the game where I can order the exterminatus of a planet and call in the Inquisition?
Yes.
Chapter 1.
I will now buy your game.
Thank you anon
the objectively correct ending to Chapter 1 is Exterminatus
Do you get anything for taking the other option?
You can save a mega generator and nobles/plebs. If you save the plebs, they will start ACKing themselves on your ship in the most bizarre way and will also give a status that I still don't know what really does.
So Yrilet has Lae'zel's voice actress, right?
Goddamn it!
IS EVERYONE ON THIS GODDAMN PARTY EXCEPT THE ELF AND THE NUN STUPID ABOUT CHAOS?!
Why the frick did Pasqal that the heretik fellow with his name's cogitator. That's asking for goddamn trouble!
I am happy I finally got the Dall-e to work and give a good portrait for my Pryomancer.
holy frick i just spent like all day on Footlocker back and forth because I did not understand there was a button in the lower right hand corner of the solar system map that took me to zoom out one level and start warping around
>do the strength check thing near the space marine battle on Kiava Gamma
>it runs over my party
t-thanks g-game.
Bear in mind it's one of the weakest space marines in the setting.
No I mean
There's a little puzzle right before to get a thing. It was my frick up though.
why does chaos care about some big parchment
They're Word Bearers. They're autistic like that. The law matters to them.
Word Bearers are such fricking dorks.
Those are MAGIC words so they have to bear them
Bear-er you say...
The Trader's Warrent was written by the big E, and Chaos is tsundere for him.
the warp effectively works in the same way animism works the older and more symbolically important something is the more power it holds in the warp, and in Black crusade their rules for corrupting imperial relics and the more important it is the bigger the pay out from the god's favor, so something like a legally aquired RT warrant from the era when emps was handing them out would be a frickton points of infamy
So like as far as leveling up do you just move clockwise along the circle and not really have choices or how does this work?
Not sure about you guys but after the finale of the first chapter getting to dab on a CSM in chapter 2 with a single heroic action turn is very fricking cathartic. ~400 dmg to a single target from a single turn, from turn 2 feels mad to me, doubly so that my psychic ass actually refunded enough AP to get off like 8 casts in a single turn with no perils.
what the frick is -Route Cost supposed to do because as of right now it seems to be doing FRICKING NOTHING
Adds +1 because it's a double negative.
it's not doing that either, at least
I figured it out, it's fricking moronic. It gives you 4 Navigator's Insight when you chart a new route
I like how Lawful options in Owlcat games are always
>What would Putin do?
Where is the Lawful option in Owlcat games to turn your country into a muslim shithole and let them commit crimes with barely any punishment?
But enough about the EU
He's certainly on-par with the average corrupt moronic nobleman.
This is literally my character after the first batch of patches and when I'm done with my current walkthrough
So when do we start getting some power armor? Heck for Argenta if not for the RT
I like how you need to pull a small heresy to reveal the truth and not get her not to betray you.
tl;dr?
She discovers that your predecessor murdered her craftworld and flips out unless you discover it first and talk to her about it.
How do you find that if you don't mind explaining?
Wait so you can actually stop the betrayal?
From last thread but
>Yeah you needed to have a convo with her in your quarters and get her "you have muh craftworld relics hidden!" rant out of her system
>That was how I did it during beta, but things might have changed.
>Theodora killed her craftworld, and she has a damn eldar trophy locked in her secret room, the same one you get access to with the heretic decision in prologue.
>If you dont have the conversation with Yrliet, she finds that shit while sneaking about and assumes YOU killed her craftshit and betrays you to the drukari. If you have the convo she won't, but a crewmember does it instead
>But as I said, that was beta, might go different now
There a way to find that room without doing the heretic prologue thing?
>, the same one you get access to with the heretic decision in prologue.
Oh ffs it's WOTR market square all over again
That’s a bit more understandable of a betrayal than people said it was
Elf ear caressing has the RT acting unwise.
It is heretical/iconoclastic to touch elf ears.
Horrifying
>Sword of faith nominally unlocks at level 31 after getting psi rating 3
>The earliest ability unlock you get past that point is exemplars level 40 node
Okay what the actual frick, are you serious right now owlcat.
man imagine how mentally ill or how unfulfilling your life must be to care this much about videogame romances
sorry i'll just collect cardboard rectangles and watch marvel movies instead.
Strange how he's not crying about Heinrix's ending. Or is that another guy?
Is the third experiment always supposed to fail?
Yes
In books I've found it says that meteorite is only useful for paint pigment
Gonna wait to actually commit to a game until some build guides come out, right now there's no way to fully respec and finding out you shat away points in X when Y was better sucks, and you still can't choose a different initial archetype.
https://github.com/xADDBx/ToyBox/releases/
I'm cruising through unfair with slightly imperfect builds. Just play.
>there's no way to fully respec
The game is as hard as you want it to be, so you can just lower all the sliders if you're getting buttblasted.
>nooooooooo you need to stick to a noobtrapped character because... you just have to OK?
there should be 4 moral axes, dogmatic and heretic are x, iconoclast also needs an opposite
Would you want a Tau, Necron, and Voltann companion to round out your xeno roster?
Necron. Those cheeky fricks got me into Warhammer originally.
>pic
Necrons don't look like this.
I know. Even the damned half human pariahs don't.
>froggy is actually inserting his cuck fantasies into the game now
Kroot.
Froggy hasn't been here in a while, he hasn't even shat up /vg/. I want to believe that he killed himself, but I doubt it
He finally got banned.
>now
Voltann would just be a dwarf which while everyone loves dwarfs its kind of a waste. A tau could be interesting given their ideology and shit I guess if written well. Necron could be the greatest but they could also make it a very boring
>Oh I wish I still had my soul. Im so forgetful I forgot my wife's face. Im sooooo old.
Alright, how about: Necron but it's HK47 from KOTOR.
>Teleports a bunch
>Gun completely ignores the armour and just melts the Marines nervous system
Necron science is such bullshit it's great.
What I desire most of all is a carnifex pet
How would the spess dorf get along with the eldar?
Better than they do with humans
The heretic option is to take nobody and nothing and just leave without blowing up the planet
Pretty well. Votann and CWEldar generally don't mine one another (ie: less likely to kill each other on sight), and there's a degree of mutual respect between the two. There's no deep seated hatred like there is towards the Imperium.
Why do Votann hate the Imperium?
They didn't Rock and Stone
Imperium backstabbed a bunch of them during a major Tyranid incursion, allowing for the Tyranids to bust through. Most of them died, and the Imperium hunted down the rest of them and wiped out all traces of their existence. Now, only the ones who've retreated to the core are still around, and they have a major grudge. Most of the time, they're warring against the admech since they're hereteks with abominable intelligences.
the Votann themselves (the ancestor cores) are something they don't want the Imperium to know they have, lest the Mechanicus try to raid them
Mechanicus is already raiding them since they have a bunch of pristine STCs.
Votann think Eldar are snobs and Eldar think Votann are short. Beyond that they don't have any particular issues.
Eldar call them Heliosi ancients, which is way better than mon'keigh.
A necron could be funny just from him hysterically laughing in the background whenever Eldar start talking about themselves.
What motivates people to even go to such lengths to show up every thread to post their fake cuck fantasies?
Your (you)s
Autism. Rampant, Chris-chan tier autism. He's literally brain damaged, probably from birth.
I can't decide, dogmatic or heretical? Which has biggest dick personal power fantasy payoff?
>failed the kill all heretics part of the quest in chapter one
the frick did I miss?
>not playing as a fat white noble and yelling at a black woman so she yells at people so hard they die
ngmi
Should you do all the colony projects you can? Or do you keep unlocking new tiers and you're fricked for slots if you did the early ones that don't advance the colony?
Elffricker sisters...
you are a troony
turn the tables on him and make HIM your bottom b***h
Mandatory portrait for that route
Can I feed this degenerate scumbag to Slaanesh after I'm done stuffing him with cum?
ye, but why would you waste a perfectly fine cumdump? there are better candidates for slaanesh snack
Because all eldar, especially dark eldar, deserve to suffer in the embrace of the god they created. If I can't feed him to the Dark Prince, I'll just leave him in a cage or maybe kill him when I'm done with him.
Why couldn't we get a kinky BDSM dark elf chick instead of this shit?
Women want to be dominated and are naturally submissive, that's why they get their space elf sadist, wouldn't work if the genders were reversed.
>Women want to be dominated and are naturally submissive, that's why they get their space elf sadist
As a woman (FEMALE) can confirm. Most stories and love interests for women are sexually dominant, however I disagree with your last part:
>wouldn't work if the genders were reversed.
It would because a lot of men are femdomgays. Unless you mean reversed for women.
sub bros RISE UP
You know the rules
>thereare unironically women who prefer getting flayed and turned into a chairthan having a wholesome relationship with Jimmi
WOMEN LOVE SERIAL KILLERS AFTER ALL
Men love serial killers(female), too.
not really, no. the fact that camellia is the least popular romance in wotr is proof of it
moron
You're a minority, the same 4 or 5 guys shitposting on /vg/ don't represent the entire internet I'm afraid
Not my fault you have shit taste.
Legitimately wanting to romance a character where the entire point of her character is that she can’t be loved or fixed and is just taking advantage of you being a waifugay so she can do more murders is actually moronic
>she offers you sex if you don't turn her in for being a serial killer
it's really just the first part that is so appealing. cause there's not much else going on
>she can’t be loved
But she still can make your dick hard. That's the entire premise of her romance, not traditional vanilla hand-holding, but mutual affection of the two sick fricks
>sick frick
is that what you call being a touch-deprived edgelord?
>mutual
In her best ending she leaves you because "doesn't like wanting to kill you"
we're not talking about taste. we're talking about you being the tiniest of the tiny minority. cope and seethe
What's tiny is your brain.
popularity != quality
Wow, you're moronic. Read the reply chain before posting
can't argue with that
I heard these jabronis will be added, i always thought dead cult assassins to be the goofy part of warhammer lore
>I DRESS LIKE A KINKY HOOKER BUT I STABBY STABBY GOOD!
The assassin Inquisitor in Martyr had such a sexy voice
>Men love serial killers(female), too.
False. Valanon, the most autistic waifu collector in history started shilling Cam Cam when he first heard about her. But then he dropped her like a sack of bricks after he found out she killed puppies. Called her a "not wife" filled with "puppy murder nonsense" so he did not like her anon! He did not! I guess he cared about dogs even more than waifus. Who knew?
>valanon
Opinion discarded.
Just saying there's some behaviour that can't be simped over.
Waifu homosexualry is as subjective as it gets anon-kun.
>Lose to Aurora because 6 cultists sat at the back and took pot shots while in heavy cover and I didn't run to them in time.
Fricks sake.
>Chorda changed the footfalls music
b***h must die.
Reject Xenos. Return to Mon-Keigh
Is there any way to move faster? Like in any real rpg system you are allowed to forgo combat to run
Anyone have a weird issue where the game "Stutters" like when I edge pan there is a delay as it slides?
>game doesn't tell you what weapons are considered heavy
why
I really want to romance with grandpa Abelard.
Neat. Can I corrupt my companions to the point they won't mind my heretical activities?
some of them
Why did the Fish Waifu break a schzio's brain?
Because she's popular
She didn't, Valerie did, he's just projecting his seethe onto this game just like with WotR
she didn't. valerie from kingmaker did and now he's taking out his anger and frustration on people whose waifus aren't as godawful as valerie. surprised he's not going after male characters too tbh
>surprised he's not going after male characters too tbh
Why would he? He got mindbroken by a woman not a man
to shit on women and gays who persue them, since those are the people who wronged him as he sees it
>forces the entire crew to hear the slapping of the RT's massive, Emperor-blessed endowments against her, and asserting her dominance on other women
>making sure everyone knows that she belongs to you, and that she wants to be punished in bed by you
>Cassia will have to imagine the giant slab of meat in your pants whenever she talks to your
>Yrielet will have to try to not think of the barbaric, primal mon-keigh passion and lust that was emanating from the coupling
>Abelard proudly boasting about how hard his Lord Captain FRICKS
Absolutely based Jae, I love bawds now.
>Meets Rogue Trader
>Decides to be his bawd to climb the social ladder
>Also constantly gives you free shit to ingratiate you to her
She's great people just hate skeevy characters.
I've barely started and I forgot how ridiculous the lore was for 40k imperial ships
A "frigate" with its own cathedral
Warp ships use the previous crew as fuel, shovelled by the current crew, right?
Love this fella, we are in a competition about who can outracism the other
I want some baal bros in my crew
>no ork freeboota companion
>no kroot companion
>but two space elves
it's not fair bros
if you let one orc on your ship then they will start releasing spores everywhere and then they will be all over the fricking place
>When a RT WAAAAAAGHs
Mite be kewl
>He doesn't want a grot shantytown in the bottom of the ship's hull
Git behaviour
plus in times of hardship squigs and grots make for good eatin
The rules for Freebooters in the TTRPG actually mention the upkeep necessary to keep that from happening. Which involves the use of flamers in potential contamination zones. Basically having a Freebooter means you will have significantly more upkeep.
is there xeno romance?
This game's a bit schizo with how it wants you to approach dogma sometimes.
You're almost always encouraged to go "frick chaos, destroy it all" except when the Heinrix's shit is concerned. Because it's totally true that inquisitors are above it. Totally. Completely. No inquisitor has ever fricked with chaos one step too far.
So far 90% of Cassia's inputs into conversations are
>Your colors are wack and you are broke ass pleb. RT... we are leaving.
Is this how it's going to be for the rest of the game?
Where do I sign up to see female nobles do this?
Worship Slaanesh
I think my game is fricked. I left Kiava and now everything breaks the game. Load the world map, crash. Go to voidship bridge, crash. Reload the save, crash.
>Game is starting to lag whenever the cargo window comes up
>Haven't decided on who I want to start building rep with yet
Bros...
AAAYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EMPERORMAN HELP ME!!!!!!
Abelard literally face tanked this little b***h, it's kinda lore breaking watching a ragtag group of humies already killing Space Marines in the very first chapter
the crew of a rogue trader are hardly a group of ragtags
>ragtag
The Magos should be able to solo him both in lore and tabletop. Navigator and Unsanctioned Psyker are also fricking busted lorewise.
But yes, Abelard should get ripped literally in half on the first melee attack that hits. It's a game, what can you do?
Pasqal isn't a Magos Dominus, he's a Magos Explorator.
Should I let the elf meditate or should I do the int check to start the romance
grab her boob while she's meditating
Are Eldar cute?
>Beating the final boss of Kiava gamma by chaining finest hour! to daring breach on the vanguard tanking all 3 bosses to also kill all 3 bosses plus 2 extra chaff at the end.
Oh man thats an addictive feeling, clearing a boss fight with no injuries is the cherry on top, hell they were barely doing double digit damage to him so I must have been doing something right.
The one thing this game lacks is party banter. there's very little of it. I've had maybe 4 conversation throught act 1
>Ambush on Footfall
>Expect a simlle clean fight
>Idira goes to buff an ally
>Instantly blows up and spawns a fricking Bloodletter
I mean Abelard handled it but holy fricking shit
Unsanctioned Psykers
Not even once
So turning Pasqal into a ranged Plasma throwing character is the right move?
that or a melta
so they say, but so far i've only found a single plasma pistol in the dynamo temple and it's underwhelming. plus his weapon skill is significantly higher than ballistics
I gave him a melta and a greatsword and he's frickin hard with that so far
Crime lord for dual pistol burst, so far it's been horrible. Does it get better or should I just respec?
If you want overpowered, I think Psyker Sanc Officer is the strongest build at the moment. Really, any PC with officer is incredibly good.
Nah, I don't care about being op since I'm on normal, still on act 1 so it's probably just normal early game struggle.
I might change to single shot pistols instead of burst if it doesn't get better though.
Marine companion should’ve been a White Scar instead of a Space Yiff. At least they have an actual history with the dark elves
At least it's not an Ultramarine, but a Space Wolf is #2 on the list of what I wouldn't have wanted to see
The space wolf feels so random. Do russians feel a connection to the snowy chapter?
I've been thinking, although I never pick the "Abelard, introduce me" dialogues I feel like they give him a lot of character and he would be a much boring character if the game didn't have them
It's like having a weird reassurance that you can always count on good ol Abelard to watch your back
>Trying to figure out why the game is stuttering random
>VSYNC was on and it was f ucking with my g-sync monitor
Good Work Owlcat
with the power of toybox, I have sidestepped Jae and got my own pet. I used it to recruit one of the Laceraxes that ambush you on Janus
What do I do with all the guns and armor I'm not using in my inventory?
Can't see a place to sell them.
cargo
>FRICK YOU SATAN I LOVE THE EMPEROR AND IM GONNA FRICKING JUMP IN THE FIRE
okay, that worked?
probably Argenta pulling space nun shenanigans
Oh frick, I might have made a mistake attacking
What's the deal with the rebels in act 2? Is not massacring them even an option?
My saves got corrupted so I’m gonna start a new game. Anyone got build reccs? Definitely going officer this time, that extra turn is goated
>Save corrupted
>Immediately wants to start again instead of waiting for a patch
Anon.....
Don't use Grand Strategist. The fact that you't rotate zones nor are they easily distinguishably really fricking sucks.
Go Tactician, you won't regret it
I moved in and just took Denz's inheritance, does anything actually happen if you give it to the other two idiots?
You can give it to the daughter if you're iconoclast.
You can also find out who fidelio is, and then kill them all, or not
Can you do anything with that unique bottle of amasec you find in the sewers if you go the route pretending to be Fidelio?
I never did figure out who it was
I think it might have been the servitor that saves the daughter, who's actually her mother. Dad sounds like a piece of shit enough to turn his wife into a servitor.
Yes, it's the servitor. He decided to send assassins after her and ended up turning her into a servitor.
Jesus sometimes it feels as if the enemy dodges fricking everything.
Kinda nuts thinking back on how quixos did nothing wrong
I am once again asking, can anyone confirm if Cassia's romance is bugged in act 2 and act 3?
How easy is it to frick up your build? Can you respec at no cost?
the first few are free then it starts costing profit factor
Arch-militant straight up doesn't fricking work for alternating burst fire and area attacks.
Why didn't you frickers say anything?
You're beta testing, what did you expect?
They weren't shy about giving you opportunities to kill off Idira.
Some bosses and important characters don't even have a fricking portrait. What the frick is this is unfinished game
I'm starting to lose hope bros... what if the patch doesn't fix her romance?
Works on my machine so far.
What act?
Almost at the end of act 2.
So far all the scenes happened. The progression is weird but I can't straight up frick. Only break up.
Anon, you're tempting me to keep playing. What are the scenes, how many are there and how exactly is the progression weird?
Beach and handkerchief
By weird progression I mean that 5 seconds after departing from her recruitment quest I get a library scene, where she leaves the courting book. I can ask her about relationship but can do nothing but break up until much later.
Maybe it's not actually bugged and the weirdest thing about it is that it starts immediately?
The way she talks makes it sound like you've been in a relationship for a while, it makes no sense
She is the first romancable companion, with second being Heinrix who only responds to women RT, and we know for a fact we are having sausage party here, so no one can check how fast his romance triggers.
Speak for yourself. I got his romance to trigger early in chapter 2.
Oh yeah I know about that, I meant if her act 2 romance events had a weird pacing too
>still no ember romance
why should i trust owlkek this time when they let me down hard before?
You can get fricked by Ember in Rogue Trader.
heh
HOLY FRICK
THIS GAME HAS TERMINATOR ARMOR
The genestealer bunker was cool, although everyone was shitting themselves a little too much considering how easy they are to kill
>watch streams and youtube videos where their Argenta is always hitting with burst
>mine is always missing
guys wtf am i doing wrong? she is only lvl 6 btw
Her starting weapon sucks
Get a weapon with better recoil or pump her BS somehow.
anyone find a good astra militarum commander portrait that they are willing to share?
ive been going through art sites and cant really find anything that fit the bill
>thought Argenta was kinda underwhelming with her bolter
>buy her a flamer
>she rips shit apart
The Sororitas really do need their flamer.
Bolter is good, stop being bad
>misses
doesn't matter if you miss 1 or 2 shots when you're firing 8 downstream
>there are people who's argentas aren't bugged
must be nice
mine wouldn't let me pick that talent so she gets the flamer/sniper combo for the time being
yes, this is common knowledge
Waow, a whole 45 damage for your turn. Very cool.
>blasts the demon with a flamer 3 times for 145 damage
You don't understand the hit percentages and how to target since the majority of spots go where your cursory is. Otherwise stack more accuracy, idiot.
her starter bolter is actually pretty bad
I gave her a flamer for aoe and a sniper for single target. It doesn't cost anything to swap weapon in combat which surprised me.
>sniper
you didn't beat it, Adeptas Sororitas use the holy trinity of Bolter, Flamer and Melta
>eldar just waltz into an imperial system and steal the sun
THEY CAN DO THAT?????
Eldar aren't Dark Eldar
>homie elves steal the sun
this is why we cant have anything nice
>space elves are still Black folk but they steal stars instead of bicycles
They've got some crazy tech, but it probably cost them a lot to do.
can't they invent a way to not be Black folk?
No. They are the way they are because Slaanesh with soulfrick them otherwise. It helps that they enjoy being evil pricks.
what happens if you save the cargo freighter in Mer-Segrit? I don't want to savescum it but i am curious
Have you guys been donating to the merchants evenly or dumping everything to one group?
later on there are some planetary upgrades locked behind donation amounts. so i donate to get those
It seems that choosing the Dogmatic option for Kiava causes the game to break but Iconoclast doesnt
>meta commentary about how the empire has no future unless they change
BRAVO OWLCAT
im beginning to think this ""inquisitor"" is a heretic
not really. radicals are common among the inquisition.
What bugs have you experienced so far? For me, it's:
>T-posing NPCs
>broken abilities
>soft-lock on Eurac
>enemies firing through walls and z-axis
>companions unable to complete turns forcing a restart
hard lock Rykad Minoris if you choose the wrong dialogue option in the electroplant.
The quest objective fails to kill the heretics holding the tech priest prisoner fails if you choose to go in guns blazing (it simply doesn't update and fails when you speak to the governor)
Some of the talents don't seem to be working. or are displayed incorrectly
>hard lock Rykad Minoris if you choose the wrong dialogue option
Thanks for the heads-up
>The quest objective fails to kill the heretics holding the tech priest prisoner fails if you choose to go in guns blazing (it simply doesn't update and fails when you speak to the governor)
works on my machine, a cutscene triggers when there's a few enemies left in battle where the captive priest causes a massive electric wave that finishes off the rest of the heretics
>where the captive priest causes a massive electric wave that finishes off the rest of the heretics
this scene didn't trigger for me. i just killed them on and the quest when ahead as usual, except that specific objective failed. also the power field wasn't disabled after the fight even though it should have been
Hard lock after Kiava if you choose the Dogmatic option, other than that just some graphical bugs and the fact that the Wanderers Portent rifle isn’t equippable by any character
>enemy can shoot me through full cover
>i cant shoot him back
>use 'secondary weapon heroic ability for free attack' on pasqual (left hand is melee, right hand is gun. he is unique in that you do not need to press X to swap to his 2nd weapon), but it simply does not shoot
If you kill the servos for whatever reason during that early event their bodies hang around the bridge forever and make annoying sounds.
So thats what that banging sound is? Its happening whenever I move the camera past certain spots, its ridiculous. Is there a way to fix that?
no, report it
Ah, it's them T-posing on lower deck are banging? Actual ghosts in the machine.
unable to complete turns forcing a restart
switch your weapon set when this happens, it unfreezes it
The banging sound on the ship bridge.
Is that a bug? I thought it was just ambient noise.
No im pretty sure it's a bug because it appears after a certain point, it's actually tied to camera movement. You can check it. I'm if it's an actual fricking sound design choice then I can't wait for nails on school board immersive sound in the next title.
yep, I just tried it for myself. It triggers when the t-posing servitor comes into frame
firing through walls and z-axis
This is fricking infuriating. From across the map as well
So is Grand Strategist the worst archetype?
Having to deal with finicky zone placements that you need line of sight to use seems like a chore to do at the start of each combat.
I feel like Grand Strategist is better the more of them you have, since you can pepper the encounter map with different zones. That's just my take on it, mind.
Grand Strategist should let you rotate the zones and not require line of sight
>High tech scifi setting
>Dual wield swords lmao
I am become Kirito, heretic to the emperor
I'm trying to find the biggest hammer I can and just smash things.
Why do brainlets think Cassia is bugged? the achievement is called "A Spark" which is exactly what it is.
You don't even handhold or kiss her yet. It's literally stage 1 of noble's courting.
Because she goes from 0 to 100 real quick, something that doesn't happen with any other owlcat romance (casual sex doesn't count)
stop comparing RT to pathfinder you moron
those games are shit
There was an entire meltie about cuckBlack folk and Pathfinder romances and you pick MY post to seethe?
so you don't deny that you're a moron? just stop talking then, we're all better off if you leave
what 100? you literally just started the romance, it's the same as Octavia or Kanerah. Wrath was the only one with slow romance starts.
>Operator with autopistols
this shit is broken bros, would be even better if half your talents actually worked
Ok, they actually did remove the line about women not being able to become space marines, instead they put this little thing, not quite the same.
WHY DOESN'T HE LAUGH CONDESCENDINGLY POZZED POZZED POZZED POZZED POZZED
So lame, that line was awesome
I think it's just a later trust conversation since he has a different response to the same question that leads down that dialogue tree. All of the companion conversations were front loaded in the beta.
i get some serious bara vibes from this guy
>Have you seen all the men i hang out with all the time, always fighting and killing
>after we return from a mission we all take showers together
>it is our honor to lick each other clean as wolves are wont to do
>all the sweat and blood, the taste of your brother in your mouth and his scent in your nose
a woman can never understand
Wut? He's a typical viking guy, not once have I felt any gay vibes from him.
He's gay and is projecting his fetish onto him
That's literally all space marines.
Did Owlcat say if they'll do an endless dungeon like for the pathfinder games in the future for RT?
how do I change Jae's portrait so she could be tolerable? any suggestions on what to use instead?
Fellow Black folk who hated the kingdom and crusade minigames as much as I did, how bad is the ship combat shit?
it ranges from terrible to the worst part of the game
you have no idea how strong the enemies are before encountering them, they can flee but you can't, and you almost always are outnumbered and go last every turn
maybe it gets better after you have overpowered shit but when it's first introduced it gets old quick
i really really hate timed objectives in kingmaker
and im not sure but the fact I have 3 planets to go to tells me I'm probably going to be able to save 2 of them and have to sacrifice a 3rd
I just set ship combat to Easy because frick that
I did that in the previous games but you still end up down the fricking rabbithole waisting so much fricking time with that shit.
you waste less time with it set to easy than with it matching your regular difficulty since you're killing ships in two or three shots and never dying yourself
Abelard, embarrass that heretic
Impregnating Eldar with mon'keigh seed!
Jae is the best romance, seethe
>meet space elf
>finish janus quest
>"join me later"
>come back later
where is she? i wanted to recruit her now to hand her over to the inquisition
(You) there!
Who do you think has the best voice acting out of all the companions?
Argenta
Abelard
Argenta and Pasqal
All I know is when Jae began speaking I turned "Voice Volume" to 0%
Idira
They are all really great, but I guess I'd say it's Ulfar.
Jae
Does the zealot cloak give a stack once per attack or will it make cass (or a pyro psyker) skyrocket in damage quickly?
why the frick are all the tech-use skill checks so hard? my guy Pasqal has 90 points in it and even then most of them don't go over 50% success chance
>they uninstall my beta steam game
>never send me my product key for the full release
>cant login to my account because frick keeping track of this dumb owlcat account ill use once
>reset password doesnt actually send me a link
>send an email to support that goes unanswered for a week now
just pirate.
if it's a don't give a shit account then you should be using an easy to remember throwaway password you use for everything of that kind. i only use autistic passwords for things i care about and stay logged into 90% of the year.
I'm liking the game but I don't think there's been more than 1 out of 5 segments that I haven't had to replay because of bugs.
I'm lucky enough that's I've only seen a couple bugs in my 10 hours of playing and they weren't game breaking. If any of my talents or skills are not working I haven't noticed.
apparently the last 2 chapters are riddled with bugs as expected
I swear to frick if there's another boss beyond the heretik head magus in Kiava Gamma I'm losing my shit
Being a chaosgay is just moronic
Even if you are an evil c**t who just wants to collect Janus tithes and food, letting the cult survive is an objectively dumb decision, they are harming the production with their bullshit and causing rebellions.
Agreed I'll only join them if they promise me a cute moronic cultist GF
You don't get it, do you? If you are Chaos, the only thing you care about is ascending, all that mortal shit is irrelevant.
How are people feeling overall about the cast?
Better than the past 2 pathfinder games?
Yes they're better, and unlike 90% of Ganker I actually liked the pathfinder cast
cuck
>NPC response of the average Owlcat fan
seethe more cuckboi
Will mods eventually enable me to play with a Necron model?
Probably.
>Ney'kraun Von Valancius
>no one can tell you're a Phaeron as long as you have a big hat and the right piece of parchment
Assassin or BH for the knife ears?
Yrliet? zero reason to pick assassin.
I picked bounty hunter and she is melting people on Janus so far
So uh whats even the main plot of this game? Is it a series of random adventures where you loot xenos for fun or is it more of theres ANOTHER chaos invasion and its your job to stop it.
There is an overarching chaos plot, but it plays like a series of misadventures, or at least that's how it has been up until now for me (act 2)
Xenos are involved and a big part of the various plots
Side quest can greatly range in variety
Building up your trade empire is also important.
>Incredible psychic powers that don't even destabilize the warp, they actually make it better
So Navigators really are a superior form of human, huh
They also never stop mutating throughout their life and inevitably turn into freaks
Is the cassia romance fixed yet?
refer to
and make your judgement
No, but it seems to be progressing properly anyway.
kind of want to not have her swoon over my dick.
or does it not change much in terms of dialogue besides her being all "you brighten my day lord :^3" when you start a conversation
I think the only thing that is "broken" is "Lets talk about us," line just should not be there. You can't really do anything until much later. Maybe it's there so that people wouldn't complain that you can't break up with her or shut down the romance.
okay, I'm believing you on this, I'll continue my playthrough.
>you can let Pasqal cut the head of a dying man to get a servo-skull familiar
way more metal than the shitty foxes and cats from pathfinder
>you can only have one
reeee thats not how all the art work depicts it
>Entire conversation with Yrliet has the constant [Dogmatic][Attack] Due, xenos! line
It's the little things.
Abelard, stop making draconian decisions about my crew without consulting me.
>cast finest hour on Argenta with a flamer
>her attacks cost 0 AP for some reason so I can unload the full mag, reload and unload the full mag again
>Yrliet tries to praise Heinrix for not falling into the Tzeentch temptation and using the future prediction machine
>Heinrix just tells her to frick off with the xeno shit
It's actually hilarious how little they get along.
based jimmi shitting on the knife years. any banter with the other elf?
I doubt I'll find out this run
I'll play the closest I can get to a sister of battle. The delf's getting BLAM'd
shame. wanted to see what they have to say if you go after the both of the. should be good
I love my cute socially inept fishwise. Also I'm beginning to wonder if the people in this planet are dumb, incompetent or just plain apathetic because really they're calling the elf a mutant?
Are any of the skills for the rogue trader more important?
Anyone tried flirting with Cassia by immediately trying to frick her? It triggers the "CassRomanceInsulted" but I'm not sure what it's there for
Alright lads on a scale 1-10 how fricking dumb and probably ooc would I be to have the Deldar join me as an iconoclast? I like having an evil person in my party and I need a bit more conflict in it than jimmi and the other knifear
eh. why not. maybe you're a nouveau riche who likes to surround himself with new exotic things
You did take Idira's buff talent right?
Yep it was the first talent I took
nope the inquisition has her now so i could care less
do the Adeptus Mechanicus actually worship the Emperor or are they just paying lip service to him so they don't get creamed
Void Dragon bros where we at?
Frick I can't decide what to do with Rykad Minor, I'm kind of leaning towards saving the reactor but logically bombing the shit out of the planet to cull it in advance makes sense too...
daemon worlds are bad for business
Abandon it completely and let it become a Daemon World
>heretic
take the reactor and dip
>the other two
nuke it
it's an infinitely kinder mercy to kill everyone not corrupted than allow a daemon world to torture their souls forever
Some may question your right to destroy ten billion people. Those who understand know that you have no right to let them live.
>heh the corpse emperor is powerless
>btw hand over that big parchment he once touched it's magic because of that
>tfw you will never live in the 40k universe
I can hire a mob of insane methheads to beat you to death if you want
Should come close to the genuine 40K experience
>tfw you’ll never get your balls run over by a tank
I killed Idira. Figure I'll get her quest done on my heretic playthrough.
I I've executed pretty much every traitor or cultist I've had the opportunity to.
>csm enteres the scene
>i am aurora 🙂
LMAO GAY
This dark eldar place is a joke right, could they have made a more annoying experience
>armor that scales with Lore (Imperium)
The Emperor Protects 🙂
>not even 15 minutes in and this guy is telling me I did something not even the rogue trader did
based Owlkeks giving me my power fantasy fix
how long is the game? is it worth?
If you like 40K, yes.
If you like games like Wasteland, yes.
If you like X-Com, probably.
If your only experience with CRPGs is BG3 or the previous Owlcat Pathfinder games, pirate it first.
You mean personality wise or gameplay wise?
Because Cassia is hilariously OP.
>So if that's about 8 hours per night
I'm almost 40 hours in and haven't even made it out of Act 2.
from one of the devs
I won't even post a Word Bearer with this image because I don't want to save a picture of a Word Bearer in my CSM doing cool shit folder, just have the expression Perturabo made when the tungsten hit the ceramite and he told the Word Bearers to "have faith" and keep marching.
>ragequitter
>calls somone useless
Perturabo left after Horus was dead and the entire affair was in disarray, the game was already over, not his fault everyone else wanted to go full moron with daemons and ignore tactics after he carried the entire Heresy on his back and beat the shit out of Fulgrim and Angron to make it happen. Besides, he destroyed the walls Dorn built, and isn't that what really matters?
>Perturabo left after Horus was dead and the entire affair was in disarray,
>after he left traitors managed to make some progress
Really makes you think
Do you mean when Abaddon was in charge?
>Iron kek starts looking for someone to blame
Because it turns out prayer is inferior to action, who knew?
>and "progress" only started getting made when the Black Legion began making moves.
>Iron kek
>doesn't know fluff
Colour me surprised
>a woman is being annoying
>kill her
Based.
>get BTFO by your little sister
>seethe too hard and kill your
Perturabo killed a woman just for talking back to him.
He left before iirc, cause Horus said that Mortarion would be in charge of the siege
>WAAAAAAAAH I WAS REPLACED BECAUSE I AM RAGGING moron WAAAAAAH!
>Morty actually breaks the defense
REEeEEEeeeeeEEEE
I’M TAKING MY TOYS HOME
Perturabo was the one who broke the holes in the walls of the Imperial Palace. Horus' problem was that by this point he had lost any sense of battlecraft and was relying entirely on warpcraft to fight.
maybe if that moron was penetrating his sister instead of penetrating some gay ass fortresses the whole crusade he wouldn't be such a loser homosexual manchild
Smells like salty Fulgrim fanboy in here honestly.
>butthurt over Perty
>incest, size_difference, all_the_way_through
>butthurt over not being able to have sex with fortresses
Imagine being one of the Emperor’s Children
>Superhuman warrior, praised for your devotion
>Beautiful and artistic, make pleasing art when not waging precise war
>chemically and psychologically castrated, but that’s okay, sex isn’t important, art is
>Get assraped by your flaming nonce of a Primarch and a fricking mongol laughs at you for it
Fulgrim wasn't a flaming nonce until he picked up the rape blade
And then it gets worse when they fall because of a shitty postmodern art performance.
>often partially missing armor, run in like crackheads at top speed and get killed because their fightboner overwhelms their sense of tactics
>face like a prolapsed anus
>cannot experience the full range of their deity's blessings because nosex
>still get assraped by Fulgrim but now he has two barbed snake dicks
>your art is now shitty impressionistic bullshit instead of aesthetic marble statues
>Perturabo was the one who broke the holes in the walls of the Imperial Palace
Yeah and the one who filled them with marines bodies because Dorn was keeping outsmarting him again and again
Four out of every five Imperial Fists in existence died at the Iron Cage and the remaining one was saved by the Ultramarines. Later Rogal Dorn would pretend he got them all killed on purpose to make them accept the Codex Astartes. Decimation is just 1/10. You can do math, right?
Nice goal post moving.
But how it's related to Pert being complete moron durring Siege of Terra?
>king sperg telling others why they suck
lol. lmao
Perturabo was the most based sperg who ever lived.
>Theodora gets assasinated
>damn homie that's crazy
>50 hours later
>literally did not get an inch closer to what the frick it is about or where the traitor is
Does nobody give a shit about this? What is my crew doing?
RT is dead. Long live the RT.
Not gonna read the spoiler but the shit with the sun too, I don't know shit about 40k but Abelard is just like
>Damn shit happens
and then nobody talks about it, i am on the last planet of getting the protectorate together after the capital and literally nobody is talking about shit like this.
Companion quests are definetly a step up from wotr but I just want to know what the frick is going on
In 40k extermination of a planet "just in case" is a regular occurrence. A whole system going tips up is no different when there are thousands of them.
Well if you really want to know She was killed with a stub pistol and when Argenta shows up she has one in her second weapon slot
Mort was rude to me despite us being death world bros so I ordered the investigation to be scrapped
>tactician can do massive damage (300%+)
>grand strategist can.... give some small buff?
>vanguard can do some crowd control and is a little tanky
im gonna respec my psyker/GS into a tactician
Cassia, Argenta, or Mehrene, who is more broken?
Cassia can stun an entire screen and always goes first.
So?
My psyker can deal 1000+ damage in one attack.
>Cassia tells a courier to drop the mental baggage in his life because the stress makes his colors ugly
>he goes home and kills his wife and children before blowing his own brains out
I love my fish wife.
>Cassia's endings are freedom, notme and hatred
Okay so which one is the one with the good ending? Freedom I assume? Hatred is obvious, ant notme sounds like the "she gets mindbroken" route which I'm not planning on doing (yet)
>Get to the end of the first fight on the agri world
>One of the supposedly allied soldiers dumps a full burst into Cassia's back and sends her to 0 hp
Frick you too, buddy.
I'm playing a warrior with a sword and a plasma gun, should I go assassin or arch militant?
arch militant is great. two free extra attacks per turn if you set it up right. tried assassin briefly it seemed okay
Her suggestions during officer meetings are pure moron energy. I love it.
haha, this nerd used his real name for his rogue trader! and he's afraid of us finding it out
Silence, you will address Lord Captain Blanket von Valancius with the respect he deserves
If you don't rp Spencer-sama style in every rpg why even bother
Nah, my name is so Black person tier it blacks out automatically.
I just feel embarrassed about it since it's pretty chunni.
tell us right fricking now what it is
Jamal-kun
When do you get a good Bolter?
You take it from Aurora's corpse
I was just doing the main content not all the side stuff
That's a heavy bolter and heretical. I need one for Argenta.
>Afraid everything is going to unravel when I get to act 4
>Everything up until it has been smooth with only minor glitches
>Get to act 4
>Everything unravels
Oh
Is this game good for not diehard fans?
I enjoy the lore, but there are good competitors like the pathfinders which I haven't finished/played yet.
I am mostly interested in the RPG aspects than anything else.
I knew barely anything about 40k lore going in and I'm having a blast
OK sold
Depends what you prefer more XCOM/Wasteland or Infinity engine cRPGs
I think it's vast improvement comparing to their Pathfinder games
Refreshing to see a dev improve so much from game to game. I hope they will improve on dlc too since their past dlc's were asssssss
Among DLC content is lawful version of Camellia
jesus christ I am so suspicious of Abelard
>just so happens to show up soon as you get out of the Warrant chamber
>insists you go check on the Lord Commander causing Edelthrad to die (the original heir)
>have a vision calling you a puppet with his form
>makes you the new Lord Commander
I am fairly sure he killed Theodora hence why they were caught off guard and no struggle.
to add to this, his justification for coming was "I got your vox", despite vox channels being blocked
That one's actually legit, the servo skull called him. As far as the puppet thing goes afaik very minor spoiler he basically wants to turn you into a figurehead while he manages every aspect of the trade empire because he thinks he can do a better job while also putting his extended family into positions of power.
The dude was definetly in love with The Rogue Trader, I don't think it was him
It's all coincidence
Well, "coincidence"
Storm bolter or heavy bolter? Choose NOW
Bros.. I'm going to romance Jae
>yrliet has a skill that always hits
>yrliet has a talent for said skill that grants it dodge reduction
what.
Foolish mon-keigh. Rolling for hit and rolling for dodge are two separate rolls!
When you fire a weapon you roll to hit then they get a contested dodge roll based on their agility reduced by your perception if you succeed.
Might be bugged but my understanding is:
>Doesn’t need to roll to hit
>Enemies still roll to dodge
>Talent makes enemy dodge roll harder
I've had enough of these fricking bugs this is much worse than WotR launch, might just drop this for now.
So, are they going to do the same thing that Wrath did? And frick over our entire goddamn empire when we get shipped to delf town in act III, like how going to demon town ruined us in act IV?
of course they are, they don't know how to do anything new
What difficulty should I select if I have some experience with rpgs and strategy games? I am thinking DARING but the game says it's not recommended if you don't have experience with Rouge Trader?
Basically how difficult is the game really.
Normal is no brainer, go 1 up if you have experience with CRPGs.
Thanks. I was thinking it would be like that. I like a hit of challenge.
Normal was too easy for me so I swapped to Daring, it says the modifiers ramps up throughout chapter 1 so you should have a better idea of what to do before it actually gets to being harder
so is an Eldar being in love with a Mon-keigh similar to a human being a furry?
Important question here
More like zoophilia
>Can't hide capes
>Can't hide armor
>Can't hide glasses
Why? You can in WotR, there is no excuse
>jae fricks you so hard you turn invisible
jesus christ
