Jimmi's is home grown, all natural, free range 'tism. Left to his own devices he'd talk your ears off about trains or board games any time. Eldar are naturally obsessive and Craftworld tism is enforced at a societal level, where being interested in specific things entails a long lifetime of ritual behaviour. As a Ranger, even Yrliet is on the "I don't particularly enjoy follow ritualised rules" ritual path. Poor girl never stood a chance.
Not really, most of Footfall is made so you go to the big boss, get back on the ship to get Heinrix, then bring him along since he does get some stuff to do everything except the quarantine zone you can't do yet.
They rightfully expected us all to kill her on Janus, if you're stuck with an untrustworthy alien with shitty writing on your ship you deserve your fate
Suppose you're supposed to kill Argenta for her betrayal too then. And Jimmy for his heretical leanings. and Pasqual for his true identity. And Jae for holding orgies on your ship and not inviting you. Truth be told the only people who don't earn a BLAMing are Abelard and maybe the space marine. It's not interesting if it happens with everyone. It just makes the MC (read: the player) a moron.
You’re operating under the assumptions that all companions are equals and have the same standards levied against them. That just simply isn’t the case in this or any rpg.
Killing xenos is your Emperor-given mission. Stepping over their corpses to claim their lands and treasures as your own is your ultimate goal.

cool but he also put traitors, both in action and ideal, to the sword without restraint. that it happens to everyone you bring with you in this game is gay. killing the xeno doesn't stop it.
I need to stop talking about videogames on Ganker because at this point I don't know if you are for real or shitposting.
What I mean to say is that you frick are an unreliable source of information.
That's why I like Fantasy more.
It has much less autistic elves. >dad Teclis told me to help and protect humans and by Isha, I will help and protect the shit out of them.
High Elves are allied with humans and taught them magic
it's the wood elves who are by the far the most Eldar-like and shoot everyone that comes into woods (survivors get shot again)
but even then their goddess hands out her bathwater to lumberfoots
>it's the wood elves who are by the far the most Eldar-like and shoot everyone that comes into woods (survivors get shot again)
They really don't, they also guide people out of their woods or even welcome random wanderers to feast with them and release (hundred years later while they did not age one bit). While Athel Loren elves can ape out due to seasonal reasons, they also randomly appear to help humans and kill orcs and beastmen. They may also kill intruders into their realm, but not always and there can be some logic behind it.
Then you got the Laurelorn Forest elves that are even more diplomatic and in general nice to humans outside of their realm.
High Elves are allied with humans and taught them magic
it's the wood elves who are by the far the most Eldar-like and shoot everyone that comes into woods (survivors get shot again)
but even then their goddess hands out her bathwater to lumberfoots
Heck even the drooki are more reasonable than the craftworld eldar
Sure they're raiders and pillagers but they're consistent in their characterization and don't flip to betrayal on a dime. And Malekith even has some honor sometimes.
Kind of but even their internal politics and backstabbing are written way better, and the characterization of their leaders
Like Morathi.

Malekith is the ultimate Gankerner >extremely ugly because he is 100% burn scars >sits in his basement all day seething >has a mommy-wife that does everything for him >his entire shtick is revenge against the Chad
Not every craftworld is zealous like Biel-tan Even though they're right. Most of them just want to be left alone and are happy to trade and try to avoid conflict
Wood Elves recognize that most humans who wander into their forests are doing it out of ignorance and not malice, so there is no reason to shoot them dead, if they can just be escorted out. Amusingly enough, Kerillian is a b***h even by the Wood Elf standards, so she's an exception, not the rule. And High Elves may have a giant stick up their ass, but they are always willing to help out the Empire in the time of need, and Karl Franz and Finubar are besties for life. And Laurelorn Elves are total bros, thanks to them living in close proximity to the Empire and understanding humans the best. Most elf/human pairings are the Laurelorn Elves falling for an Imperial human.
The Fantasy setting was so soulful and quirly (in the best way) then GW opted to turn it into a 40K clone before finally killing it when it didn't work. I fricking hated the grimdark shit and Chaos wanking they tried to push again and again. Orderchads trashing their Storm of Chaos plans in 2004 and forcing them to magic Chaos victories in was hilarious, I guess their got their revenge with End Times.
Knights of the white wolf and cannons were incredibly overpowered that edition.
However the "everchosen" getting stomped by a big black orc is still my favorite warhammer memory.
>GW was still so salty about based Grimgor raping Archaon they rewrote the entire thing in End Times to have Archaon win instead and cut off his head
Their pettiness is unrivaled.

I liked storm of chaos invasion too, compared to end of time gay one
Also how vampires were resolved is still pure kino
After the destruction of the Chaos army, Manfred turned his army towards Middenheim. While Karl Franz's terrified army was retreating under the eastern causeway, a single silhouette emerged from the ranks of the Undead. It was Mannfred himself, who slowly rode up on his steed and stopped a few dozen paces from where Karl Franz sat on Deathclaw, flanked by Kurt Helborg and Ludwig Schwarzhelm. The Vampire's voice rose above the tumult of the storm:
"As my father once called upon your ancestor, so will I call upon you. Surrender the city to me and you will be spared. Resist and you will all die."
A lone figure stepped out from behind the Imperial regiments and faced Mannfred. His bald head glistened in the light of the raging storm, and his long moustache flew across his cheeks in the howling wind. With crossed arms and furrowed brows, Volkmar the Grim stared into the Vampire Lord's eyes:
"Almost five hundred years ago, a man like me killed a monster like you. It can be done again."
Mannfred considered his options and looked at the Theogonist with a stern face. The vampire remembered well the sight of the Great Theogonist Wilhelm throwing himself from the walls of Altdorf along with Vlad von Carstein and impaling them both below. He also thought of his lands and the encroaching army of Vardek Crom. With a growl, Mannfred turned his nightmarish steed and rode east, his deadly army following him.
As night fell, the fields and forests around Middenheim were quiet, almost silent. For the first time in nearly three months, the sounds of war could not be heard.

You can't save terrible units.
I distinctly remember my unit of chaos knights, which ate up like 1/3rd of my points getting routed and killed by freaking goblin wolf riders that edition.
And oh boy was it fun to march your 100% melee army into enemy gunfire for 3-4 turns, whittling them down to nothing.
Dealing with orc animosity tests was more bearable than the garbage called chaos.
There's literally not a single good romance in this game lol
You're genuinely better off just accepting that you'll be disappointed no matter what you pick and go with no romance at all.
Lord Captains please help me fix this mess in Toybox, where do I find the flag for "this planet has been scanned"? This is Janus which I already have colonised yet it shows up as unscanned and doesn't let me scan it either.
Partial voice acting makes me irrationally angry. You voice act one part of the conversation and as soon as you go to the second part there's no voice acting, it's so fricking jarring. It'd be better to just have no voice acting and dedicate all their resources to fixing bugs.
If they pulled the money in to do it with humans VAs, you would just b***h about their chink/israelite investors controlling them.
Either create better voice AIs or frick off. Actually JUST frick off, those audio files nom GBs away like crazy, and my SSD is nearly full.
Oh, nice. I'm used to how other devs ration assets and resources compared to owlcat content megalomania so it felt like we'd seen all of comoragh already, taking the portal to the outer spire now.
I'm a certified brainlet. There are backgrounds, home planets, "professions" or something, and god knows what else. Which one of those is your class that actually defines your playstyle and which are kind of auxiliary minor things?
your class determines your playstyle the most
homeworlds have different talents that you can get (some are better than others)
backgrounds the major difference is psyker as that gives you a psy rating
so whats the difference between inquisitor and the dlc char (judge dredd)
feels like they're exactly the same thing
no they are not
Aribtes are Judge Dredd but only within their assigned district on a planet/station
Inquisitors have literally unlimited authority and technically only answer to the Emperor himself
think municipal cops vs state intelligence service
Arbiters are the federal police of the Imperium. They're often found in very small numbers compared to local planetary police forces, but where the local planetary police forces follow local planetary laws, Arbiters are beholden to Imperial law. They're often hardcore as frick and patrol in tanks, incorruptible judges Dredd that shits on local laws and routinely purge gangs or arrest nobles. In rebellious planets the last place to fall is 99.9% of the time the local planetary Arbiter precinct, which is a heavy fortress in all but name (and often the ONLY real presence of Imperial law on the planet).
Inquisitors are secret state police/The Guys You Don't Frick With. Their authority is absolute, second only behind the Emperor or another Inquisitor, they travel through the Imperium to find threats, heretics, xenos, daemons and to purge them with extreme prejudice. An Inquisitor can make absolutely everyone shits their pants and has the legal authority to do... absolutely anything he wants. Not always the actual authority to do it, fricking with some people/organisation can a bad idea, but the legal authority, sure.
Most people haven't gotten to him I wager.
He's great. Amazing voice acting
This bit here where he's ranting about hating his time in the arena was the best piece of voice work in the game since Idira's scream at Theodora's death/body.
Frankly all of this game's performances have been stellar except maybe the inquisitor. Felt he was just a tad too bland during his big scene at the end of chap 2. Needed a bit more something.
Honestly, the one performance I am not feeling is Pasqal. Maybe because voicing an admech is really hard, but I keep comparing him to Omicron Arkh. That fricker was a chad.
the guy on reddit (kek) was very useful for keeping track of etudes back then
he tested a lot so you could know when to turn on or turn off shit when it suited your playthrough
like how i was able to diverge aeon into swarm with just some editing
hope some anon starts a pastebin or a rentry down the line
I've genuinely been trying like I did for Wenduag but I can't make heads or tails of some stuff
I can tell you she's got two counters for the romance. One is her pacience, which starts at 2 and is lowered by dialogue with the "toomonkeigh" label.
And then there's the "accordance" counter, which is named that in dialogue as well. This one's the positive one. Not sure if the true ending requires x amount of it, or if you've got to make sure to get every single accordance counter. If so I've already missed one. But it can easily be increased or decreased as necessary in toybox.
As for anything else, haven't gotten past chap 3 's second arena fight, so can't say more.
As for her regular questline and her betrayal, that's where I'm stumped. People say there's ways to avoid the betrayal but I don't see a single etude that would influence it. Having the "prologue_corruption" one active, which is the one that changes if the door to the secret room's open or not, changes nothing. And having one or both of the wraithbone sword handles with you ALSO gives no new dialogue options. But then again I spawned those into a save where I had already long finished her personal chap 2 quest.
So I dunno.
Yes, that's currently my opinion. There was that and a bug where her conversation about the trophy in your study (the displayed one, not the hidden one) wouldn't fire, so her betrayal was completely out of left field.
But I think ultimately the progression is always that you find her in your study, she has a short conversation where she spots the trophy and then betrays you. That's always how it goes down. But hey, I hope I'm wrong. But I want to see it happen with some anon before I believe it, that's all.
It's seems like her dialogue were changed in the last moments before release and weren't tied up with the rest of the story
I mean she finds us good enough for monkey to join, and player anyway tries to investigate what grandma were doing. So there are no logical reason why her questline shouldn't crossroad with our little investigation.
Also, if I got achievement for talking with Cassia too polite does it mean she will throw a tantrum when I go for mysterious persian meat?
If that's the case it's good, but I get the feeling she just betrays you no matter what.
>If that's the case it's good, but I get the feeling she just betrays you no matter what.
Well that's my point. Either, they sabotaged her character on purpose (or may be because GW told them so), or they changed something in the last moment, but forgot to tie up pieces of the story
They always intended for her to betray you and there be no alternative (if she's alive), then like the idiots they are didn't expect people beta testing to get absolutely fricking pissed at it. Then they made some empty promises about "fixing" the whole thing and just slapped the "fix" on a singular choice most people won't take in the prologue.
Typical Owlkek spitefulness.

Heinrix has two flags too, closeness and devil.
I don't even know if they do anything, considering his romance succeeds based on a different counter altogether.

You don't need to let her kill everyone.
She only needs to kill one person of the various options in act III. For example I let her kill the old crone.
If you then do her act IV quest to the end properly, letting her kill the transformed demon, once you get to the manor you can let her kill the dad and then you can stop her from killing the servants.

The correct way to do her quest is to either kill her immediately upon finding out about her true nature or kill her when she tries to murder you for trying to fix her fricked up ways (doomed as this attempt is since she is a dyed in the wool psycho and psychos can't be fixed).

Except killing her in self-defense is literally a valid and equally correct conclusion to her questline according to flags. Otherwise you'd get a Valerie and temple of Shaelyn situation again, which we didn't.
You either fight her psycho ways and kill her at the end or you don't and don't. Either is a valid end to the quest. To claim only the latter is is erroneous.

You have to be pretty moronic to fully embrace Chaos. Usually, Chaos gods trick you into joining, most people don't do it willingly. Unless you are Lorgar.
Its the only way for a human being to be free in the material world, Yes your soul is gonna get eaten and burn in hell for it. But the Emperor was gonna do the same, same for most Xenos too.

Well yeah, but that is more of a sacrifice to the Throne to keep the Astronomican running thanks to Magnus fricking it all up.
>what's the point of embracing chaos if it fricks you in the ass anyways? Are they moronic??
The nature of Chaos gods is that they will frick you in the ass eventually. However, until it happens, you can become so powerful that you can do some of your own ass-fricking.
Lots of Chaos worshippers are either in it for a short-term power gain (think get-rich-quick schemes), think that if they worship their God devoutly enough it will make an exception for them (not really) or think they can cheat the God and weasel out of their obligations (ask Magnus how it worked out for him).
If you get ridiculously lucky, you might ascend to become a Daemon Prince, but that's like winning a lottery. Most of the time you will just die and your soul will get munched by whatever God you worshipped.
Ok but then you're already in a romance? Anons kept saying that if you start the romance then the whole thing runs its course and that's it, no more content.
Can you still romance her if you were polite but nothing romantic in the library scene?
It was weird to me that I could make a pass to fishgirl literally the second I had her on my ship, so my character was just polite. I hope it's not the scripted beginning of the romance.
No, you just either politely tell her you like her as more than a friend or you do it crudely. Those two lock you into romance. Any other response locks you out.

You just described every renegade house.
Do you know why you suck up to renegade houses?
Their navigators absolutely slap in combat, and with how cassia is the crutch to over half the anons here, it's working.
Good luck getting a respectable navigator from a high ranking house to step foot in combat, they have serfs (you) for that.

I described nothing of the sort. Fratricide following the paternova's death is the norm in every navigator house.
And you don't need to suck up to navigator houses as RT. By their nature as prissy noble houses, pissing in one's chips is usually enough to make another like you just for that.
And if we actually followed any sort of common sense, Cassia would be confined to the ship 24/7, but as she's intended to be a companion that is obviously not gonna happen. Nobody sane would take their one and only navigator out into the field, especially out on the edges of imperial space.

Yeah that's the one but before patch if you picked the polite option she ran away blushing and the next time (so actually the first time) you talked to her on the bridge you had the option to "Let's talk about us." and break up with her.

He does a frickton of damage but he feels a bit squishy compared to Abelard. His mass healthpool vanishes too fast without the temp wounds and the parry from vanguard.
Yeah, he's pretty shit
His 2x2 footprint gets in the way of Argenta's burst fire too much, that alone disqualifies him.
Maybe he should have been written as a scout with only a few of the geneseed and no power armour to explain the balancing. Not sure if Space wolves even bother with that aspect of Astartes lore.
He does a frickton of damage but he feels a bit squishy compared to Abelard. His mass healthpool vanishes too fast without the temp wounds and the parry from vanguard.

Romanceable Eversor waifu companion when?
Anon, Eversors are incapable of anything that isn't murdering whatever is in front of them
they are kept on ice and dropped into whoever's day needs to be ruined
I gave her an assassin class and it's useful, there are fights where you need reach and/or to reliably take out something without burstfire rng bullshit.
Also the real way to play is to have 3 different combat specialists for short/long/melee and 3 officers giving turns to whichever is needed at any given time.
Didn't used space marine enough to judge, but yrliet second most useful damage dealer after sister of battle
Literally bait for free turns to pick off distant targets. Also all her weapons ignore armor
If there is some psyker or sniper that has to die she is great at that. I got her doing 100+ damage when spec'd into an assassin. Killing Edge is mandatory and you can easily buff up her dodge for more Lethality.
I can't imagine not having at least 1 sniper on my team. Those enemy snipers that spawn 55 tiles away and can hit their shots 100% of the time are cancer if you can't take them out fast.

There is "complex eldar mind" and then there is being utterly moronic.
Why is your retinue so light on the soldier archetype? We have 2 warriors, 3 operatives, 2 officers and only a single soldier.
Is the space wolf or deldar a soldier? I don't know since i am only in act 2 and the furry looks more like a warrior than soldier to me.
This game is WAY too easy
Like half the things in it should be nerfed hard
It’s boring to have to severely restrain yourself on character building or you one turn every fight in the game
Not him but i would be fine not bieng able to change that, i just don't want to be a pyromancer since it's basically a dead choice that does literally nothing for me.
Does toybox stop cheevos though?
Must Eldar be moronic at all times?
Is there some divine edict by Gav Thorpe that every 40k licensee is obliged to shit on them and portray them as total morons?
It's complicated.
Eldar are, relqtively speaking, one of the 'good guy' factions of 40k, arguably more so than the Imperium. However, the Imperium has Space Marines, who are the posterboys of the setting who sell mkre than every xenos faction combined.
As such, Eldar aren't actually allowed to be successful on their own, as that might detract from the focus people have on Space Marines being the heroes of the setting which itself is great for marketing.
So instead, Eldar are left out in the cold getting the occasional new models but never being allowed to so anything in lore, because the management which took over after the Fall of Cadia debacle doesn't want factions other than Marines to get a heavy spotlight.
This also goes back to Gav in that he waa the only writer allowed to write Eldar stories, and even then only token ones where he was avle to get away with making them incompetent to the extreme. Eventually GW decided even token books were too expensivr for Eldar and cancelled the latest Eldar plotline partway through. This was back in 2018 and Eldar haven't been involved in any plotline since then.
>Eventually GW decided even token books were too expensivr for Eldar and cancelled the latest Eldar plotline partway through
More like GW dropped idea of deleting Slaanesh
>More like GW dropped idea of deleting Slaanesh
Making slaanesh die in 40k and having the horned rat take over to introduce space skaven would have been the only correct move.
Would have been better than "not-squats"
>Must Eldar be moronic at all times?
This is the only way how Thorpe can depict "le tragic race" >Is there some divine edict by Gav Thorpe that every 40k licensee is obliged to shit on them and portray them as total morons?
Considering he is one of the oldgays and how messed GW upper management you may be not far from truth.
The sad thing is that in the Rogue Trader alpha, it seemed like Yrliet was finally going to be an exception, because she was coming off as very competent and reasonable... and then from Act 3 onwards, she got hit by the trademark Eldar suicidal moronation.

Idira is an extremely accurate representation of an Unsanctioned Psyker in 40k. The only difference is she gets Party Member immunity to the "Instantly explode into a shower of bone and gore" perils and just gets KO'd.

You may be right and all but she's a Black person and I can't stand that disgusting Black person voice.
I though the imperium was too zealous in how it treat xenos and that not all of them were evil but it was me who was too naive
Finally this game convinced me that the Imperium is completely in the right and I should have put every single one of their filthy kind to death when I had the chance
I won't ver make the same mistake again
Half the posts about the story in this game feel like the poster only read about it from someone who heard about it from someone who hasn’t played the game
I'm so mad that I can't use this heavy bolter you get at the end of Chapter 1 because its heretical. When the frick do you get your first heavy weapon besides this?
>How good are Melta weapons?
I gave mine to Pasqal and he slaps with it.
So far giving Argenta a sniper rifle has worked out terrific, although I would like to give her a bolter again at some point.
>just got to chapter 4 >got annoyed by my choices/builds/character appearance and started an entirely new character
This is going to be the one anons, Im sure of it, i'll actually finish this run
It's unity, it runs like shit regardless of the setup.
Also if you have less than 16GB RAM it will probably choke, freeze and crash after half an hour.
Biomancy is also suited to melee and sanctic pairs best with officer. Sanctic/officer is already good but will get better once the fricking talents and sword of faith actually work.
Yep. >you are just a regular factory worker >assembling munitions for the Imperial Guard >shift in, shift out >the pay is okay, the hours are fine >besides, you are proud of your work >until one day you don't feel so good >three days later, you have to miss your shift because your head hurts so bad you can't think >five days later, you are sweating, vomiting and shitting blood >by the end of the week, you are yet another screaming face on the armor of Lucius the Eternal >who stepped on a landmine made by you half a galaxy away
homie what? Chaos gets a thrashing almost everywhere in the lore. Most Greater Daemons and Daemon Princes got killed so many times, they are a joke at this point.
Failbaddon destroying Cadia was one of the very few times Chaos was handed a win, and even that was necessary to advance the metaplot that was stagnant for 15 or so years.
GW wants to wank chaos but they can't because timmy only buys the cool spess murines.
So they wank chaos in lore and have them do stupidly absurd shit like drive a blackstone fortress into Cadia, but then they lose in the end anyway because SPESS MARINES SO BADASS WOW MOM GET ME THAT NEW PRIMARCH HE'S SO COOL MOM
I hate GW, but the ultimately fault lies with the perfidious timmy and their soccer mom.
Chaos wank ruined Fantasy. Thank Timmy for doing his damndest to prevent it in 40k, even if it means Marine wank.

That's true. WHF's fate is the demonstration of what happens when GW doesn't have to consider money.
I still hate timmies. They ruin 40k even if they keep chaoswank at bay.

>Chaos gets a thrashing almost everywhere in the lore
Is that why Abaddon had his 12 failures rewritten to be "uhm akshully that was all tacticool genius planning"? Is that why the setting is entirely about how great and powerful Chaos is and how all resistance is basically doomed to failure, regardless of how illogical it is?
Chaos is like Wolverine (or any immortal/regenerator). They are functionally immortal, so they can have the shit beaten out of them 24/7 and still come out no worse for wear and end up winning.
You want a real shat upon faction, you look at the Eldar. Chaos wins even when it loses. Eldar lose even when they win.
>You want a real shat upon faction, you look at the Eldar. Chaos wins even when it loses. Eldar lose even when they win. >a race that set itself on its way to extinction is slowly approaching extinction
I fail to see the problem.
>You want a real shat upon faction, you look at the Eldar. Chaos wins even when it loses. Eldar lose even when they win. >a race that set itself on its way to extinction is slowly approaching extinction
I fail to see the problem.
Last big Chaos v Eldar fight was Eldritch Omens I think. >Exodite world gets caught in the big new Cicatrix Maledictum, population survives by shelterinf in psychic domes >World emerges from the Warp Storm and Abaddon immediately sends a Warpsmith to wipe out the Exodites and claim the planet as a fortress >Eldar show up to defend the Exodites long enough for the domes to be renewed so the planet can survive re-entering the Warp Storm >Eldar get absolutely slapped, leading Autarch is captured and chained up in a dungeon while the Warpsmith goes off to try snd break the domes >Autarch escapes by crushing a Chaos cultist's neck with her thighs and frees ger forces >Eldar then blow up the Black Legion fortress from within, killing everyone but the Warpsmith and the Autarch as the planet is about to re-enter the storm >Warpsmith proceeds to torture the Autarch to death before the storm hits >Considered a 'Decisive Victory' for the Eldar because the domes remained intact
>by the end of the week, you are yet another screaming face on the armor of Lucius the Eternal >who stepped on a landmine made by you half a galaxy away
That story mang >"A landmine, they will never let me live THAT down!"
More like "what if he gets killed by a Necron Warrior whose mental engrams are so atrophied he doesn't even remember who he is, let alone feels anything?"
Or "what if he gets killed by a Rubric Marine?"
Or even "if Lucius chokes to death on a piece of grox meat, will he come back as some agri-world farmer?"
Joke is how Slaneesh first saved his ded ass from a mary-sue raven that made an edgelord point of "totally not caring" riiiight , so why would that even change anything?
As long as chaos is amused, the fricker will stay around anyway
Yeah, but usually not in imperial worlds, they expect people to be worked to the bone to keep the war engine going
There's a frickton of human worlds lots to the empire who are just like our current one tho, also, some imperial worlds just don't have a whole lot going for them so they're rather lax
In the grimdark future, there are billions and maybe trillions of human worlds scattered around the galaxy, and about nothing happens in 95% of them. There's all kinds of worlds. Paradise worlds, feudal worlds, hivemind worlds, craftworlds, etc.
About 95% of people have never seen a Xenos, or knows anything about chaos.
If you're young and extremely handsome and land on an Exodite world you might be kept as a pet after they slaughter the rest of your crew and destroy your ship.

Your dudes is an entirely different thing from making gross statements about the setting. Saying that it's just normal for some human to start fricking eldar on exodite planets has nothing to do with your dudes, and I'm not obliged to consider it canon in any form.
In these threads, I want to talk about the setting itself as presented by the various official sources, be it armybooks, BL novels, the comics, video games, whatever. If I cared about your dudes, I'd ask about them on /tg/.

There is an episode in one of the Ventris books about a human who collaborated with deldar in exchange for life extension. It is heavily implied that he also gets to shag a Wych as a bonus, although the Wych is both disgusted and highly aroused by the fact.
No happy human-eldar harem planets in the lore.
She wasn't really aroused by it, but the purple prose was bad enough, so what do I know.

THE OCTAGONAL SURGICAL chamber was cold, the breath of its occupants misted before them. The two figures in charge of the procedure moved with a silky elegant poise through the shadowed chamber. The light was kept low, as the Surgeon's eyes were unaccustomed to brightness and it was widely reckoned that he did his best work in near-darkness anyway.
A channelled metal slab was bolted to the floor in the centre of the chamber, surrounded by arcane devices festooned with scalpel blades, long needles and bonesaws. The chamber's third occupant, a naked human male, lay unmoving atop its cold surface. There were no restraints holding him there. The Surgeon needed total freedom of movement of the body in order to work and the drugs would keep the subject from moving.
The Surgeon had administered the precise amount to achieve such an effect, yet not so much as to prevent him from feeling something of the procedure.
Where was the art if the Honoured could feel nothing?
The Surgeon wore an anonymous red smock and pulled on thick, elbow length rubberised gloves, the fingers of which ended in delicate scalpels and clicking surgical instruments. His assistant watched his fastidious preparations from the shadows with a mixture of languid boredom and reverence.
She had seen the Surgeon's skill with his instruments many times before, and though the things he could do were wondrous, she was more interested in her own pleasures. The Surgeon nodded to her and she span, naked, towards the slab on her tiptoes, a wicked leer splitting her full red lips.
She gripped the edges of the table and pushed herself upwards and forwards, lifting her legs slowly until she was completely vertical. She walked astride the prone human on her hands then propelled herself into the air, twisting on the descent to land astride the figure.

She could see the fear of the procedure in his eyes and smiled to herself. It was always the fear that aroused her. Aroused her and repulsed her. That this human ape could think that she, who had learned the one thousand and nine Pleasures of the Dark, could actually enjoy this. Part of her was filled with self-loathing as she realised once again that she did, and it took an effort of will not to plunge her envenomed talons through his pleading eyes and into his broken mind. She shuddered, the man mistaking it for her pleasure, and leaned forwards, trailing her tongue along his exposed chest and feeling the skin pucker beneath her. She worked up to his neck and gently bit on the skin, her sharpened teeth penetrating his skin and tasting the bitter flavour of his bad blood.
He moaned as her teeth moved up his face, feathering razor kisses along the line of his jaw. Her long, blood red nails trailed up his ribs, leaving smoking, poisonous tracks in their wake. Her thighs tightened over his hips and she knew he was ready. The blood was singing in his rotten veins.
She looked over her shoulder and nodded to the Surgeon. Even though the human could not move, she sensed the terror rise up in him. The woman vaulted gracefully over his head, landing with a gymnast's grace behind the slab, spitting the blood that coated her teeth onto the floor. The Surgeon pressed the first of his bladed digits against the man's belly. Expertly, he opened him up, paring back the skin and muscle like the layers of an onion.

The Surgeon worked for another three hours, dextrously unravelling every centimetre of the man to the bone, laying his flesh and organs open in gory ribbons of meat. How easy it would be to just continue with the opening and take it on to his skull, leaving him a screaming, fleshless skeleton. The temptation was great, but he resisted it, knowing that Archon Kesharq would visit a thousand times such misery on his own frame were he to let the kyerzak die too soon.
Humming alien machinery of rubber tubing, hissing bellows and gurgling bottles of blood surrounded the procedure, gently feeding the still-living cadaver with life preserving fluids. A loathsome metallic construction, like a serrated gallows, swung upwards and over the table, supporting a glossy, beetlelike organism that pulsed with rasping breath. Fine, chitinous black needles stretched from its distended belly and worked at each flensed slab of flesh. Moving too quickly to be seen by the naked eye, they stripped diseased, stringy matter from each organ and hunk of meat, weaving new translucent strands of organic matter in their place.
As the throbbing, eyeless thing finished with each segment of flesh the Surgeon would gently lift it back onto the body and meticulously rework it onto the subject's frame until he was once again whole.
Only the head remained unopened, his mouth moving in a soundless scream of pain and revulsion. The razor gallows lowered the glistening creature onto the man's face, its fleshy underside undulating warmly over his skin. The black needles extended once more from its body, slithering across his cheeks and working their way into his skull through the nose, ears, mouth and eyes. Threads of agony wormed through his brain as each nerve, capillary and blood vessel was stripped out and renewed.

Finally it was done. The grossly swollen organism was lifted from the subject's head and deposited on a wide metal tray at the end of the slab. The Surgeon lifted a narrow bonesaw as the creature began convulsing, its colour fading from lustrous black to a necrotic brown. Before it rotted away to nothing, the Surgeon split it across the thorax with the saw and removed a dripping yellow egg sac. It would be needed to grow another organism for the next time.
The Surgeon nodded to the naked woman who sashayed back to the slab and raised the man into a sitting position. His movements were slow and awkward, but she knew that his discomfort would soon pass. He gathered his clothing and sullenly pulled a short, blue velvet pelisse with silver stitching around his shoulders. He picked up a bronze tipped ebony cane and painfully shuffled towards the chamber's door.
Without turning, he snapped, ‘Well? Are you coming?’
She wienered her head to one side, her venomously beautiful features twisting into a sneer of contempt. He turned to face her, as though sensing her loathing of him.
His eyes locked on hers with a mixture of hatred and arousal and she could see from his beseeching eyes that he had suffered greatly. She was glad, and guessed that it would take at least six of the one thousand and nine Pleasures of the Dark to placate him this time.
It was such a shame that human understanding of such things was so limited.

You are a fool and a mongrel.
Started chapter 2. Should I be conservative with Extractums and are there any resources that I should focus on early or should i just plop em down randomly?
>Should I be conservative with Extractums
Not really, just don't spend them on plasteel or something, use them on the rarer resources. And you can relocate them at any time anyway.
i guess im not in rush to get into it with owlcat's patching etc but might as well ask
is having psyker background worth it even if i don't exactly care about being the "mage" or should i keep crime lord for my stats? (aiming for agi/perception/int kind of char i suppose, ranged probably).
should i go soldier or operative? it looked like operative gets more utility skills over time but i like the idea of the archknight or whatever its called. does soldier kill more stuffs than operative? and again, does make psyker even sense for that? how important are the background skill bonuses (as in, relatively compared to leveling, is +5/+10 to main stat a lot over time?)
also can you only choose a single 2nd class or can you "multiclass"? the descriptions made an impression to me that you pick class levels at will but that might be op?
Operatives are strong enough to deal with what you face. But the game is very poorly balanced and there are many options that are ridiculously overpowered.
What talents are generally good for her to make her an actual bolter b***h?

IMO: ditch all into cargo "scrappy" as soon as you find alternatives.
Ripper>laspistol since those damn piss-LEDs can ONLY burstfire, no single shot avilable
Any heavy weapons in Chapter 2? There are some in sale at that Saint Drusus merchant in Footfall, but the requirements to get any of them are really high at this point.

Just like how they missed genestears infestation on a fricking Terra
Actually clown would be way more funny as companion and romance option (with secret ending RT joinning the clowns as Death Jester) instead of attempt to make average eldar into "Aerie/Shadowheart waifu"
There are so many effects which give extra attack or reduce cost of attack, so after playing a certain setup for a bit I can attest that it's severely fricking bugged, and moreover it won't be fixed easily because of a tangled clusterfrick that should go with counting those effects and their priority over each other. >Dual-wielded weapons >Arch-militant >Never stop shooting >Effects that make pistol reolad costs 0 >Item that reduces next attack cost to 0 if pistol shot crits
I'm not even sure where do attacks come from any more, but it's unethical. I've made Argenta a normal arch-militant with 2h ranged weapon, it's already very strong but it working as intended and doesn't allow you to shot 8 times and clear everything in vicinity on a budget of 0mp/2ap turn that officer gives.
These two fricking debuff are completely crippling my skill rolls, fricking hell. Especially since I chose the Forge World feat that lets me scale with social skills.
So if I already got achievment for romance in Act1 does it mean I have to break with someone (I have no idea who I've romanced) before going for brown lady?

Yes, you can. If you betray a dog who cares about you you're lower than garbage.
Do eldargays really?
>out 'tisms jimmi
pretty amazing, fricking elves.
Should I rush Janus to recruit Yrliet or do I do the other Footfall shit first? Do I miss any interactions if I bring her to Footfall side quests etc?
Not really, most of Footfall is made so you go to the big boss, get back on the ship to get Heinrix, then bring him along since he does get some stuff to do everything except the quarantine zone you can't do yet.
She's only 150, basically still having her teenage rebellion phase.
It's just a general.
New games are like that
I still don't understand the reasoning for practically every writing decision involving Yrliet, what were they thinking?
We cannot hope to understand her with our mon'kegh brains.
>what were they thinking?
'Take that chuds!'
They rightfully expected us all to kill her on Janus, if you're stuck with an untrustworthy alien with shitty writing on your ship you deserve your fate
They tried to write an eldar but also make her a generic waifu for the waifutards.
She makes complete sense
t.eldargay
She's a craftworld Eldar. ffs I wish they made her ynnari or exodite, I'm tired of reading the complaints of lorelets
You’re supposed to kill her I y be same way you should let argenta put down idira the first chance you get.
Any of those lead to you and your party being brutally tortured by dark elves?
I don't race to the bottom. They're all bad and you should feel bad for liking them.
You’re operating under the assumptions that all companions are equals and have the same standards levied against them. That just simply isn’t the case in this or any rpg.
There's 0 reason to show favoritism here. Argenta won't frick you bro.
Mods will fix it.
Those characters are humans. Yrliet is a xeno. You're supposed to kill her immediately for that alone.
It won't help you is my point. 9/10 companions have traitorous plot points. It's lame and boring.
Killing xenos is your Emperor-given mission. Stepping over their corpses to claim their lands and treasures as your own is your ultimate goal.
You mean keeping Xenos in my harem is my Emperor-given mission? Alright!
Why would you keep a harem of corpses?
cool but he also put traitors, both in action and ideal, to the sword without restraint. that it happens to everyone you bring with you in this game is gay. killing the xeno doesn't stop it.

Heck even the drooki are more reasonable than the craftworld eldar
Sure they're raiders and pillagers but they're consistent in their characterization and don't flip to betrayal on a dime. And Malekith even has some honor sometimes.
because Drucc are more like the typical "Evil Empire of EEEEEEVILLLL" types and you know what makes them tick
Kind of but even their internal politics and backstabbing are written way better, and the characterization of their leaders
Like Morathi.
Malekith is the ultimate Gankerner
>extremely ugly because he is 100% burn scars
>sits in his basement all day seething
>has a mommy-wife that does everything for him
>his entire shtick is revenge against the Chad
You can trade with druchii at least, and somewhat trust them not to frick you over, no such thing with craftworlders.
There are plenty of craftworlds that just want to be left alone and trade with nearby imperial worlds.
>You can trade with druchii at least, and somewhat trust them not to frick you over
Yeah you also can participate in cultural exchange with them
>nd somewhat trust them not to frick you over
And this is why no one takes Ganker seriously
Wandering into a wood elf forest is like being Alice in Wonderlands. With Death Grips constantly playing. It might not turn deadly, but it likely will
The Fantasy setting was so soulful and quirly (in the best way) then GW opted to turn it into a 40K clone before finally killing it when it didn't work. I fricking hated the grimdark shit and Chaos wanking they tried to push again and again. Orderchads trashing their Storm of Chaos plans in 2004 and forcing them to magic Chaos victories in was hilarious, I guess their got their revenge with End Times.
That's what happen when the creators are massive chaosboos from the get go, when Chaos is literally the least interesting thing in any 40k.
>40k
Warhammer setting I meant obviously, not just 40k.
>Orderchads trashing their Storm of Chaos plans in 2004
take me back
Knights of the white wolf and cannons were incredibly overpowered that edition.
Why is Mannfred such a b***h?
>why is Mannfred competent and prioritizes his holdings and not a petty, self-destructive moron like in ET
Out with you, out.
In wh world you are b***h if you refuse to fight
>Mannfred using his head, thinking of the bigger picture then making the rational decision
Kind of amazing considering what they did with him in ET.
IIRC GW tried to save Chaos by adding some rules like "cannons don't work anymore" but it didn't work and they still got their shit kicked in.
Dealing with orc animosity tests was more bearable than the garbage called chaos.
name literally one reason for not fricking elves
Heresy.
>wanting a waifu that outlives you and goes on to ride wiener for centuries after you
>or a waifu that ages with you and you die together
20 YEARS AT LEAST
Getting plapped by jimmi on the table. My career as a rogue trader has peaked there
Who should I romance for my first playthrough?
Nobody, they all are pretty shit.
Cassia

*date rapes you*
Women can't rape men.
Only gays and women trying to pretend they care about men's feelings claim otherwise.
you say that until you wake up next to a hambeast
More like
>let's everyone know your dick size
>broadcasts her getting railed by you to the ENTIRE SHIP
>everyone issues congratulations
I want to know how it works in a lesbian relationship.
There's literally not a single good romance in this game lol
You're genuinely better off just accepting that you'll be disappointed no matter what you pick and go with no romance at all.
>There's literally not a single good romance in this game lol
Actually no, only Eldar is moronic
Sounds like you're projecting
Why do the Navy reputation stuff not automatically go into cargo? Is it safe to sell them?
Lord Captains please help me fix this mess in Toybox, where do I find the flag for "this planet has been scanned"? This is Janus which I already have colonised yet it shows up as unscanned and doesn't let me scan it either.
Please help, I've been trying to find the corresponding flag in etudes and search 'n pick but I'm coming up short.
what happens that results in Yrliet being mindbroken?
her spirit stone gets destroyed, and she gets rightfully mindbroken over it
why does it break?
look at her go!
RULES OF NATURE
No voice acting, no buy
the partial voice acting annoys the frick out of me, either do it all or do none of it
Partial voice acting makes me irrationally angry.
Actually JUST frick off, those audio files nom GBs away like crazy, and my SSD is nearly full.
>hobo chapter closing bossfight
alright, take your bets how long this is gonna take. 2 turns? 3?
That's not a closing bossfight, not even close.
Oh, nice. I'm used to how other devs ration assets and resources compared to owlcat content megalomania so it felt like we'd seen all of comoragh already, taking the portal to the outer spire now.
>Kill Yrliet
>She drops her spirit stone
Can I do anything with this or is it just a new ornament for my desk?
I hope you can break it and send her soul to mommy
Well?

The reason why there is barely diplomacy is because 40k is a fundamentally different setting
my ulfar is a little bit shy around other poeple
>average SM cosplay
>only 108 HP
That's a Space Marine?
he is quite garbage actually
his 2x2 size really should have warranted like 2-3x HP instead of the autorez
He can be good with those buffs where people need to be within 2 spaces of him as a buff totem due to his size making it easier to proc
>hit a bump in the road, have your nose broken
Why is he giving me the middle finger? Rude!
I'm a certified brainlet. There are backgrounds, home planets, "professions" or something, and god knows what else. Which one of those is your class that actually defines your playstyle and which are kind of auxiliary minor things?
Archetypes are your mechanical classes, backgrounds are your story classes, home planets are just buffs.
your class determines your playstyle the most
homeworlds have different talents that you can get (some are better than others)
backgrounds the major difference is psyker as that gives you a psy rating
no they are not
Aribtes are Judge Dredd but only within their assigned district on a planet/station
Inquisitors have literally unlimited authority and technically only answer to the Emperor himself
think municipal cops vs state intelligence service
>Cassia romance is literally middle ages noble courting
Unironically kino
so whats the difference between inquisitor and the dlc char (judge dredd)
feels like they're exactly the same thing
Inquisitors are basically a sort of secret religious police like the literal inquisition. The Arbites are the actual literal police.
Adeptus Arbites is just glorified cop. Inquisitor is a CIA spook.
Inquistitors are the CIA, Arbiters are the FBI
>Arbiters are the FBI
Nah, they are beat cops.
An Arbiter has to follow the exact letter of the law at all times. While an Inquisitor can use his judgement in most situations
An Arbiter is the Law.
Inquisitors are above the Law.
I practically never hear anything about Ulfar, how he is as a character? Forgettable?
No one's gotten him yet. I'm like 60 hours in and haven't even seen or heard of him.
The Omnissiah knows all, comprehends all.
>we dont have an autist who collects useful etudes and datamines like in wrath
godamn what a tragedy
We have one posting about jimmi's fricked flag conditions.
the guy on reddit (kek) was very useful for keeping track of etudes back then
he tested a lot so you could know when to turn on or turn off shit when it suited your playthrough
like how i was able to diverge aeon into swarm with just some editing
hope some anon starts a pastebin or a rentry down the line
So I dunno.
I think betagays just go confused by some beta bug where the abduction fired off as though she was dead?
Yes, that's currently my opinion. There was that and a bug where her conversation about the trophy in your study (the displayed one, not the hidden one) wouldn't fire, so her betrayal was completely out of left field.
But I think ultimately the progression is always that you find her in your study, she has a short conversation where she spots the trophy and then betrays you. That's always how it goes down. But hey, I hope I'm wrong. But I want to see it happen with some anon before I believe it, that's all.
Heinrix has two flags too, closeness and devil.
I don't even know if they do anything, considering his romance succeeds based on a different counter altogether.
I heard they have announced dlc companions? i can't find it, who are they?
Adeptus Arbitres and a Death Cult assassin. That's all we know.
How enticing.
I was expecting an Ork Freeboota or a Kroot, but I guess Owlcat can't be bothered to create new models.
>expecting an Ork
Lol
pls no bully
Death cult assassin's a girl
Taking beats if she's twins tier or druid guy tier.
>Death cult assassin's a girl
Was it confirmed? Granted 99% of death cult assassins are girls, because GW can't be bothered to make a male model, bug still...
You have Marzipan, that should satisfy you.
Marzipan really is Camellia(male) except well, he is very upfront about it
Not really, not even close
Marzipan is actually one of the most loyal companions, Camellia betrayed you more than eldar
Camcam didn't send my party to the Abyss
worst she had done is killing my soldiers which is bad but not as bad as condemning my entire party to a fate worse then death
if you pick any path she doesn't like, she'll betray you
at the start of ch4 she betrays you
Arbiters aren't local enforcement, planets have their own shit for it that modeled after arbiters. Arbiters job is judging and punishing anyone who breaks imperial law. For example if itch decided to jaywalking and because of that some administratum truck was slowed down, this shit on them to punish criminal scum. Also holding off planet in case of revolts
>Camellia betrayed you
Camellia CAN betray you, if you do her quest wrong. Same for Wendy
Yrliet WILL betray you (I've yet to see someone avoid it so until then I am going to remain in doubt about the whole thing with the secret room)
>not letting cam murderfrick everyone is doing her quests wrong
You don't need to let her kill everyone.
She only needs to kill one person of the various options in act III. For example I let her kill the old crone.
If you then do her act IV quest to the end properly, letting her kill the transformed demon, once you get to the manor you can let her kill the dad and then you can stop her from killing the servants.
The correct way to do her quest is to either kill her immediately upon finding out about her true nature or kill her when she tries to murder you for trying to fix her fricked up ways (doomed as this attempt is since she is a dyed in the wool psycho and psychos can't be fixed).
I'm not discussing the merits of the character or whatever you should roleplay as
I'm telling you factual information about her flags and questline and how to do it and what you need, necessarily, to do.
Anything else is down to your choices and roleplay. Nobody's forcing you to accept the character.
No it isn't. Killing her in self defense doesn't properly conclude her questline.
It LITERALLY does.
The journal even has a generic "the decision has been made but only the commander knows if it was the correct one" or something like that, just in case you decide to kill her, and the quest is complete and succesful
Sbe doesn't try to kill you if you don't try to fix her
Watch them make both companions male, fat and gay, lol like that viking shitter from wotr
It seems like GW is autistic about keeping the 50/50 gender split in this game, so one will be male, the other female.
Watch only the male being romanceable, because of gays crying that the only gay option in RT is a drukhari sociopath.
>Death Cult assassin
Orks are reddit
Surprised you didn't expected tyrranid hive companion, fricking moron
>no perpetually horny jeanstealer hybrid waifu
oh no Ganker looks to be lagging good luck with your playthrough bros
why isnt yrliet's quest appearing in my log
>oh hey, there's a psyker pyromancer, I guess I'll try that
>dump melee and ranged combat, go all in willpower
>my only ability to interact with enemies is a 1d4 damage DOT
I done fricked up huh, I guess everyone has to use guns and you can't be a mage?
It gets better later on but i still do more damage with my sniper than the dot, i hope when i am psy rating 2 and get the fire beam I'll actually do damage otherwise it feels like you aren't really playing with a class.
Pyro is a melee chad, anon. Set yourself on fire and go swinging dual weapons
Going sword and flamer/melts also works I think
Some pyro talents work on other flames too
Salamanders might mail you a cease and desist order tho
I'd say go Telepathy into Pyromancer instead.
Or massive biomancy + pyro dots or jump in the middle of them and spam word of the emperor for 2xPS aoe damage

Lmao yeah I'm just not going to search space for another bomb because Argenta failed her 60% skill check of placing a c4 against the wall.
Never failed a demo check but there sure as shit ain't enough melta bombs for all of it
I'm fricking off to Janus just to find some melta bombs to come back to the shadow quarters in footfall
Mod to make everyone white when?
Reward for defeating the birb on the chaos path.
Do heretics get any protection from perils of the warp?
Constantly triggering demons and party wide debuffs doesn't sound like a good idea
I don't think they care much at that point
I meant ingame not in character
>Do heretics get any protection from perils of the warp?
No. Even Chaos ships have Geller fields. It's super risky even if you are a Word Bearer boasting ridiculous favor from all four gods. There are things in the Warp who don't give a shit.
Then... what's the point of embracing chaos if it fricks you in the ass anyways? Are they moronic??
They like being fricked in the ass
Some have no choice
Some see it as a way of getting away from the grinding existence of being an expendable cog
Some are true believers
The ultimate goal of every chaos follower (who isn't brainwashed canon-fodder) is to become a daemon prince.
It's a one in a trillion shot, but if you make it you get to live forever, true immortality, can't be killed only banished.
But can still get your ego bruised by a rusted tin can
I mean getting fricked by grey knights is your lot in life as a daemon.
Fortunately they're extremely rare, so the chances of you personally running into one are minimal at best.
Honestly, dread surviving for 10k years without stasis or basical maintenance or warp fricking with time makes no sense and capeshit-tier like new Lion ability to teleport (just imagine who cool could be alternative plot with Azrael and Saphon taking risk and negotiating with non-Chaos Fallen in order to locate Luther) behind the rest of inner Circle
Are they going somewhere with Lion? Girlyman coming back was a huge status quo change. By comparison, Lion just... fricks around?
>Are they going somewhere with Lion?
He didn't even met with Azrael and rest of the Unforgiven, story still on "Lion send them message from Dante's flagship "I am back sons""
daemon primarchs came back after doing nothing for 10k years, so loyalists need some force too
the problem with warhammer(both fb and 40k) is that only good characters can die, while evil ones can retreat and survive without problems
It's kinda like wow, but empire(or order faction in fb) are treated like horde by devs
Sooo is the reuniting of Girlyman and Lion already written? Any survivors on that planet, or were all inhabitants purged for security reasons?
What's the point of mass shootings if you can't get laid?
Insanity, nigguh
I mean, yeah?
You have to be pretty moronic to fully embrace Chaos. Usually, Chaos gods trick you into joining, most people don't do it willingly. Unless you are Lorgar.
Freedom.
Its the only way for a human being to be free in the material world, Yes your soul is gonna get eaten and burn in hell for it. But the Emperor was gonna do the same, same for most Xenos too.
Except the Emperor doesn't eat your soul.
Unless you are a psyker bed-snack.
Or unless he wakes up and shit goes DARK KANG
Please, none of that moronic DK business here, thanks. Abnett got too big for his breeches and should've stuck with his Ghosts novels. Those were fun, and he had a good cheat sheet to copy off of.
I grant you that boon for sake of sanity, but sleepy psyker meals are still canon even pre-HH lunacy
Well yeah, but that is more of a sacrifice to the Throne to keep the Astronomican running thanks to Magnus fricking it all up.
Usually choice looks like "with lubricant or without"
>what's the point of embracing chaos if it fricks you in the ass anyways?
Most of the time people got gradually eased into chaos worship through cults and can't opt out after they got too deep in
Yes.
Yes
Yes, they do
There are many more minor chaos gods, but unlike in fantasy nobody cares about them. Some of them want to kill chaos.
>There are many more minor chaos gods, but unlike in fantasy nobody cares about them. Some of them want to kill chaos.
YWNBAG Be'Lakek
I actually thought about malal, necoho and randal or whatever his name was (the luck one) from fantasy
IMO 40k gives big 4 too much attention
Do medpacks, grenades and bombs replenish in stores?
yeah I'm looking for a steady supply too
no
Don't think so, but you can get a constant supply from colonies, I'm flooded with grenades anytime I build something new on one of them now
Do you still instantly get the library scene with fishfu right after nabbing her?
That's how it's supposed to work.
I think that scene requires you to be polite. If you try hitting on her, the romance gets shut down.
No, you just either politely tell her you like her as more than a friend or you do it crudely. Those two lock you into romance. Any other response locks you out.
>Any other response locks you out.
So you cannot frick elf or gipsy without traumatising the fish?
What.
What’s the better weapon proficiency, Eldar or Dark Eldar?
Didn’t mean to reply
, we just met, but I want to have frick with you
>The only way to start the romance
Really?
I mean that is literally how it works in real life. You either express that you're interested up front or you're basically out.
Neither the simpering snivelling "polite" approach nor the "let's frick in my chambers rq" make any sense considering the setting
>le grimdank setting!
Right I should have told her that if she doesn't spread her legs I'll remove her vocal cords
Rape option is a huge missed oppertunity
I'm still mad telepaths can't use dominate in conversations to get their way.
That was the reason why I resolved into a comissar - what's the point of being a wizard if it's only acknowledged in combat?
I'm not saying it should be some sterile sexless environment (which it is anyway, I didn't see any pleasure girls on footfall or anything to that effect), but a captain of a voidship fawning over some silly little quirky warp twisted megapsyker like a schoolgirl seems really moronic
>let's frick in my chambers rq" make any sense considering the setting
I don't know, a newly minted Rogue Trader is likely to gain a pretty swelled ego. I think most Rogue Traders are risk takers by default, even if some are more calculating in their approach
>considering the setting
It's always so easy to spot the people who only know Warhammer from youtubers.
Yup, typically the same midwit lorelets that complain about iconoclast.
I just complimented her. Romance still triggered.
That's false. You can start it at any time by talking to her.
Politeness with a high ranked Navigator is expected of any RT, most houses are far more powerful than you and can frick you up.
But neither "wanna have frick" or "you're such a beauty" makes sense when having a new Navigator on board for literally 5 minutes.
The canon, most logical answer should be a polite nonsense conversation about the weather.
>See woman you're attracted to
>Whip out your dick and give it a try, see if it works
>NOOOOOOOOOOOOO YOU CAN'T DO THAT SHE'S LE HECKING NAVIGATOR YOU'RE BREAKING MUH LORE YOUR CHARACTER WOULD NEVER DO THAT!
>high ranked Navigator
You mean a glorified science experiment of a failing house currently locked in a fratricidal war following their paternova's death.
>And you don't need to suck up to navigator houses as RT.
lmao
Concession accepted, have a nice day.
>It was weird to me that I could make a pass to fishgirl literally the second I had her on my ship
RT has no time to waste
The one where she leaves a book on how to court a noble lady? yes
Yeah that's the one but before patch if you picked the polite option she ran away blushing and the next time (so actually the first time) you talked to her on the bridge you had the option to "Let's talk about us." and break up with her.
Despite never even talking to her before that.
How is the space wolf companion? Did they make him useless as an over compensation for how powerful space marines are in the lore?
>Did they make him useless as an over compensation for how powerful space marines are in the lore?
yup
I dunno, his heroic act is supposed to be pretty OP.
Yeah, he's pretty shit
His 2x2 footprint gets in the way of Argenta's burst fire too much, that alone disqualifies him.
Is it just me or is Yrliet completely useless? Are snipers a trap?
there are enemy snipers too
and there good old bug from xcom is back where they can straight up ignore walls
Yeah but sniping seems completely useless when Arch-Militant Argenta has 25 move and deals quadruple the dmg of her sniper with her heavy bolter.
AM is really OP
better damage than BH and Assassin and tankier than Vanguard
Anon, Eversors are incapable of anything that isn't murdering whatever is in front of them
they are kept on ice and dropped into whoever's day needs to be ruined
I can fix her
you quite literally can not
>enemy can shoot at you from below building but you can't shoot at them from above building
the LOS is moronic
I gave her an assassin class and it's useful, there are fights where you need reach and/or to reliably take out something without burstfire rng bullshit.
Also the real way to play is to have 3 different combat specialists for short/long/melee and 3 officers giving turns to whichever is needed at any given time.
Didn't used space marine enough to judge, but yrliet second most useful damage dealer after sister of battle
Literally bait for free turns to pick off distant targets. Also all her weapons ignore armor
I gave the magos a longlas and he's absolutely ridiculous
Longlas is only good early game
If there is some psyker or sniper that has to die she is great at that. I got her doing 100+ damage when spec'd into an assassin. Killing Edge is mandatory and you can easily buff up her dodge for more Lethality.
I can't imagine not having at least 1 sniper on my team. Those enemy snipers that spawn 55 tiles away and can hit their shots 100% of the time are cancer if you can't take them out fast.
But could the Commander defeat the Rogue Trader?
In 1 to 1 combat? Of fricking course he could
Did you forget the trickster path lets you rewrite reality?
Romanceable Eversor waifu companion when?
>Eversor
Not a death cult and they're crazy psychos even more than Camellia.
>hotfix up
What does the hotfix hotfix?
Nothing much.
What Heinrix dialogue? if it's nothing important I'll pass
He doesn't have many dialogues in the first place during chapter one, so probably irrelevant.
Probably the softlock after Aurora fight.
And yet I got that exit problem today
being unable to exit your room
You could quicksave/quickload to get the exit back lol
Quests
Fixed one of Heinrix dialogues in Chapter 1;
User Interfaces
Fixed a possible problem with the Lord Captain's quarters exit icon;
Why newbies are so upset about xenos being treacherous?
Can't wait for dark elf companion waifu in their fb rpg who will try to kill you at night
Just imagine hatefricking with Asur MC with Nagarythe origin
>fb rpg
Lul
Lmao, even
They'll make a Soulbound game instead.
oh, sigmar got their own rpg too
yeah, it's a possibility then
I expected dark heresy though, just so they won't waste assets from this one.
Also new pathfinder game, but I heard they lost license
I don't think Owlcats themselves like Pathfinder very much.
They like 3.5 rules, and pathfinder is the only source of that with any brand recognition
Apparently Soulbound is actually pretty good but I'm just going off hearsay. I'm not sure quite how successful RT was but it might lead to other GW games.
>I expected dark heresy though, just so they won't waste assets from this one
They should do imperium maledictum since its new.
They should do another Warhammer game imo.
They expected a generic pointy eared waifu to fall over the human male self-insert MC, like they are conditioned by shitty anime and porn.
Reminder she gives us her spirit stone Noldorgay
You lost.
Noldorgay won
Nah, we just expected ANYTHING, and for her to not be a complete and utter buffoon and traitor.
Canon Eldar are better, I want to romance something truly alien yet extremely sensitive.
Nah, issue is that she continues to backstab me for no reason, while saying that we need to learn to trust each other.
There is "complex eldar mind" and then there is being utterly moronic.
>for no reason
There is
Possible payoff of betraying you is great, you are nothing to her
You own no models, Noldorgay, how can you claim to be a true Eldar fan if you don't at least have one as a little hobby project?
Why is your retinue so light on the soldier archetype? We have 2 warriors, 3 operatives, 2 officers and only a single soldier.
Is the space wolf or deldar a soldier? I don't know since i am only in act 2 and the furry looks more like a warrior than soldier to me.
Ulfar is a soldier yeah
The wolf is a soldier, the deldar an assassin.
And Yrliet is still a gunner.
Soldier is unironically OP.
They had to limit access so you didn't break the game too hard.
dude
space elf pusy
Made for drying up and becoming barren while the Lord Captain romances Cassia.
This game is WAY too easy
Like half the things in it should be nerfed hard
It’s boring to have to severely restrain yourself on character building or you one turn every fight in the game
why they made ephemereal eldar look like an uggly ftm troony?
Depends on the artist.
Fanart doesn't count.
Is there a full respec available anywhere?
In toybox
Toybox, but you don't get to respec your homeworld/origin yet.
That would make the Imperium look worse.
We can't have that.
And that's why Fantasy elves are the best.
Eldar get new models?
New Striking Scorpions are coming out in January as part of a Kill Team box.
>Eldar get new models?
Ever since 6th edition
>Eventually GW decided even token books were too expensivr for Eldar and cancelled the latest Eldar plotline partway through
More like GW dropped idea of deleting Slaanesh
>More like GW dropped idea of deleting Slaanesh
Making slaanesh die in 40k and having the horned rat take over to introduce space skaven would have been the only correct move.
Would have been better than "not-squats"
>horned rat
The emperor?
have a nice day, ratgay. Even AoS considers your faction to be a bad joke and is bringing Slaanesh back.
>Even AoS
AoS factions are jokes by default
>gender-fluid
Like a beer or something?
The sad thing is that in the Rogue Trader alpha, it seemed like Yrliet was finally going to be an exception, because she was coming off as very competent and reasonable... and then from Act 3 onwards, she got hit by the trademark Eldar suicidal moronation.
>Must Eldar be moronic at all times?
This is the only way how Thorpe can depict "le tragic race"
>Is there some divine edict by Gav Thorpe that every 40k licensee is obliged to shit on them and portray them as total morons?
Considering he is one of the oldgays and how messed GW upper management you may be not far from truth.
Are there mods to turn off the Black folk yet? I just met Idira and I hate her already.
You have a bolter
It's better now but it doesn't say that she's dead yet?
moron
You get to shoot her when she has psyka moment
Thank god. A shame they had to ruin a psyker character, hopefully there's a chance to make a proper one later.
Idira is an extremely accurate representation of an Unsanctioned Psyker in 40k. The only difference is she gets Party Member immunity to the "Instantly explode into a shower of bone and gore" perils and just gets KO'd.
You may be right and all but she's a Black person and I can't stand that disgusting Black person voice.
take the femMCpill
jesus christ this shit is buggy man, am I really gonna have to wait a year before owlcat patches this shit into some semblance of working?
Do I bother with medium armor on anyone?
I'm thinking of taking the soldier talent for no penalty on Argenta
MC is a soldier too but he's a psyker so he doesn't rely on lining up bursts.
Any armor with bonus to psyker stuff?
I though the imperium was too zealous in how it treat xenos and that not all of them were evil but it was me who was too naive
Finally this game convinced me that the Imperium is completely in the right and I should have put every single one of their filthy kind to death when I had the chance
I won't ver make the same mistake again
>Humankind
Half the posts about the story in this game feel like the poster only read about it from someone who heard about it from someone who hasn’t played the game
should there be a chaos spawn on rykard in warehouse? Last time I did this fight there wasn't any demon but I don't see any psyker memery in log
When did you go to Rykad last time compared to now anon?
I just redid the fight for the second time because right after first one I didn't notice steam and entire team got traumas
Cultist enemies have an ability which gives them a 10% chance to turn into a Chaos Spawn.
oh yeah, I thought kneeling animation was a bug lel
Half the talents I actually want to use on my psyker don’t work
>Don't want to use Jae
>But also don't want to drop Cassia's navigator powers
what do
Play Officer yourself, idiot.
is there anyone i should take onto dargonus aside from jae and jimmi?
I'm so mad that I can't use this heavy bolter you get at the end of Chapter 1 because its heretical. When the frick do you get your first heavy weapon besides this?
How good are Melta weapons? I just got one on Janus and i want to know if its usefull on Argenta?
Would love to know this aswell, i want to give Argenta a heavy bolter.
>How good are Melta weapons?
I gave mine to Pasqal and he slaps with it.
So far giving Argenta a sniper rifle has worked out terrific, although I would like to give her a bolter again at some point.
Yeah i should give her a sniper aswell since the only bolter o found doesn't really cut it anymore for damage output.
>just got to chapter 4
>got annoyed by my choices/builds/character appearance and started an entirely new character
This is going to be the one anons, Im sure of it, i'll actually finish this run
Your opinions on how to build Idira?
will this game run on a shit pc
It's unity, it runs like shit regardless of the setup.
Also if you have less than 16GB RAM it will probably choke, freeze and crash after half an hour.
>game has ntr
>he says as Yrliet OHKO's him in the arena
Bro!
How do the psyker origins fare for a soldier?
I hear a lot about pyromancer, but not as much from biomancy or sanctic.
Biomancy is also suited to melee and sanctic pairs best with officer. Sanctic/officer is already good but will get better once the fricking talents and sword of faith actually work.
Are there average normal 9 to 5 worker people in the setting?
Billions of 'em. Someone's gotta keep the gears turning.
Yes, but we have those irl so why write about them?
it's more like 04:00 to 22:00 and yes that is the existence for countless billions on hive worlds
most of your subjects are supposed to be that
the workweek is more like 84 hours
>9 to 5
Try 4am to midnight, and breaks are heresy. But otherwise yes.
Yep.
>you are just a regular factory worker
>assembling munitions for the Imperial Guard
>shift in, shift out
>the pay is okay, the hours are fine
>besides, you are proud of your work
>until one day you don't feel so good
>three days later, you have to miss your shift because your head hurts so bad you can't think
>five days later, you are sweating, vomiting and shitting blood
>by the end of the week, you are yet another screaming face on the armor of Lucius the Eternal
>who stepped on a landmine made by you half a galaxy away
Chaoswank is honestly the worst wank of all. Can't have their precious babies have any logical weaknesses or anything, nuh-uh.
>I still hate timmies. They ruin 40k even if they keep chaoswank at bay.
Seems fitting for 40k as a hobby in a meta sense.
>spess marines keep the setting alive even if they also ruin it
>chaos is the enemy (GW) constantly foiled
>eldargays are only sustained through sheer autismo like their faction
>orkgays just havin a laff
>Thank Timmy for doing his damndest to prevent it in 40k
Meh....
At least we got kino-exarch release
Last big Chaos v Eldar fight was Eldritch Omens I think.
>Exodite world gets caught in the big new Cicatrix Maledictum, population survives by shelterinf in psychic domes
>World emerges from the Warp Storm and Abaddon immediately sends a Warpsmith to wipe out the Exodites and claim the planet as a fortress
>Eldar show up to defend the Exodites long enough for the domes to be renewed so the planet can survive re-entering the Warp Storm
>Eldar get absolutely slapped, leading Autarch is captured and chained up in a dungeon while the Warpsmith goes off to try snd break the domes
>Autarch escapes by crushing a Chaos cultist's neck with her thighs and frees ger forces
>Eldar then blow up the Black Legion fortress from within, killing everyone but the Warpsmith and the Autarch as the planet is about to re-enter the storm
>Warpsmith proceeds to torture the Autarch to death before the storm hits
>Considered a 'Decisive Victory' for the Eldar because the domes remained intact
Lucky chaos cultist
days later, you have to miss your shift because your head hurts so bad you can't think
>Missing a shift
Grounds for termination of life by Power Maul.
>by the end of the week, you are yet another screaming face on the armor of Lucius the Eternal
>who stepped on a landmine made by you half a galaxy away
That story mang
>"A landmine, they will never let me live THAT down!"
>pay
>hours are fine
>surviving a missed shift
What pleasure world are you on?
Well, he HAD to live decently enough to 'take pride' in his work, else Lucius would have had to pop up in another soul
Not all planets are hivemind craftworld grimdark hellhole.
That's a fair point. I can't imagine life on Girlyman's worlds being bad at all.
>I can't imagine life on Girlyman's worlds being bad at all.
Average lifespan on Macragge is 35-40 years
Infant mortality still a big issue in the Imperium I see.
>Average lifespan on Macragge is 35-40 years
Pretty sure that's Mcragge years, not terran years
Is this some kind story from the actual canon?
Yep, a short story. The name is Lucius: Pride and Fall.
Fricking Chaos.
Yeah, by some butthurt Luciusgay who got mad that people found plenty of ways to logically circumvent his immortality.
funny as shit how everyone likes to go "what if he gets killed by a Basilisk that doesn't even know what they're shooting at"
>"Well aimed shot and quick reload, men! I am proud of.. ugh headache!"
I just want Kharn or Typhus to annihilate Lucius and Slaanesh to seethe because he can't do shit about it this time.
>Kharn
Khorne would probably let him shit out a very self centered turd and have a laugh at letting a favorite Slaneesh follower regrow from that
>40k khorne
>carrying
Yeah, but usually not in imperial worlds, they expect people to be worked to the bone to keep the war engine going
There's a frickton of human worlds lots to the empire who are just like our current one tho, also, some imperial worlds just don't have a whole lot going for them so they're rather lax
Is it worth mining for like 2 of a resource?
In the grimdark future, there are billions and maybe trillions of human worlds scattered around the galaxy, and about nothing happens in 95% of them. There's all kinds of worlds. Paradise worlds, feudal worlds, hivemind worlds, craftworlds, etc.
About 95% of people have never seen a Xenos, or knows anything about chaos.
Are there have-sex-with-cute-elves worlds? this is important
It's called Commoragh, but it's the get-raped-but-not-in-the-sexy-way webway-town.
If you're young and extremely handsome and land on an Exodite world you might be kept as a pet after they slaughter the rest of your crew and destroy your ship.
Name examples from the lore.
40k lore is whatever you make up that doesn't conflict with named characters.
So nothing, thanks.
40K is a setting first. Your mind canon is canon.
I don't care about your canon.
A good chunk of any discussion of lore is BL related, for better or worse. If we keep it at armybooks, then there is not much to talk about.
Learn to read, moron.
Learn to not make shit up on the spot.
Are you stupid? You must be stupid. 40K has always been a setting for you to write whatever you want as long as it doesn't involve named characters.
If I cared about your dudes, I'd ask about them on /tg/.
>some human to start fricking eldar on exodite
Other way around, the Eldar are fricking the human. Big difference.
You are extremely dense, and moronic. You clearly don't understand what a setting is. My canon is not your canon, moron. 40k is a sandbox setting to create stories for your nerdy roleplaying games at home.
>My canon is not your canon, moron
Yeah, and I asked about examples from the setting, not your canon.
You aren't as intelligent as you think. If there are no examples from the setting, make them yourself. That's the whole point of a setting like 40k. You can even create your own primarchs with their space marine chapter.
>You can even create your own primarchs with their space marine chapter.
Now let's not get too crazy, anon
There are two unknown primarchs for a reason.
>If there are no examples from the setting, make them yourself
Anon, get this into your head. I don't care about your dudes, your headcanon or things you make up. I wanted to know about what happened in the already existing lore.
And I keep telling you that nothing happens in the setting, intentionally. Besides the main plot, almost nothing is explored.
>And I keep telling you that nothing happens in the setting
Yeah, thanks for the cool answer.
She wasn't really aroused by it, but the purple prose was bad enough, so what do I know.
>I wanted to know about what happened in the already existing lore.
There is an episode in one of the Ventris books about a human who collaborated with deldar in exchange for life extension. It is heavily implied that he also gets to shag a Wych as a bonus, although the Wych is both disgusted and highly aroused by the fact.
No happy human-eldar harem planets in the lore.
>both disgusted and highly aroused by the fact
Gimme 5 mins, I'll try to find that fragment.
1/2
2/3
3/4
4/4
Try tumblr
thanks anon. you should post this in the new thread
>He relies on shitty BL authors for his lore
You are a fool and a mongrel.
Find a nice exodite world. They are not quite as autistic as craftworlders or durkdurks, and used to playing with the wildlife.
There was one actually
Empire burned it
Untold trillions, no 40k game really shows the full scale
Started chapter 2. Should I be conservative with Extractums and are there any resources that I should focus on early or should i just plop em down randomly?
>Should I be conservative with Extractums
Not really, just don't spend them on plasteel or something, use them on the rarer resources. And you can relocate them at any time anyway.
Which are some of the rare resources how can I tell?
Xenotech, flogiston, chemicals, adamantine
Thank you
When is the next patch?
i guess im not in rush to get into it with owlcat's patching etc but might as well ask
is having psyker background worth it even if i don't exactly care about being the "mage" or should i keep crime lord for my stats? (aiming for agi/perception/int kind of char i suppose, ranged probably).
should i go soldier or operative? it looked like operative gets more utility skills over time but i like the idea of the archknight or whatever its called. does soldier kill more stuffs than operative? and again, does make psyker even sense for that? how important are the background skill bonuses (as in, relatively compared to leveling, is +5/+10 to main stat a lot over time?)
also can you only choose a single 2nd class or can you "multiclass"? the descriptions made an impression to me that you pick class levels at will but that might be op?
Why are Operatives so fricking useless???
Operatives are strong enough to deal with what you face. But the game is very poorly balanced and there are many options that are ridiculously overpowered.
they're supposed to be your "boss killers" but uhhh, heavy bolters exist lmao
Somebody probably already said it before, but the OST so far is pure kino. It fits the setting perfectly in my opinion.
What is it with slavs doing such a good job in this area (among many others, of course)?
All critically acclaimed WH40k games have good OSTs.
eastern yurop is cursed postcommie shithole so devs actually have to make good games to forget our subhuman existence
t. czech
>still no patch on ps5
I want to kill these devs
Consolegays must suffer.
What kind of moron plays a RPG like this on console?
moron here, in Chapter 1, getting lots of weapons. Ripper Autopistol, Laspistols, Scrappy Autoguns, Scrappy Autopistols, which are good?
longlas and sniper
also m40
> Laspistols, Scrappy Autoguns, Scrappy Autopistols
Literally trash for low-level enemies
Thanks, found a Longlas. So does Argenta keep her bolt weapon? I have a well-maintained Lasgun.
First of all think with your head and just look at damage/range/fire rate and decide for yourself what you want
Secondly bolters are pretty bad
>bolters
*Argenta's starting bolter
She rapes once you hand her a normal one and actually get some talents.
What talents are generally good for her to make her an actual bolter b***h?
As long as burst fire is counted as area attack by the game (whether it's a bug or intended), any of the stuff that boosts area attacks.
Arch-Militant later will basically play itself with all it's ludicrous boosts.
>As long as burst fire is counted as area attack by the game (whether it's a bug or intended), any of the stuff that boosts area attacks.
Wait, that's how it works? The frick? I remember a tutorial early on that explicitly says there are single, burst and area attacks. I thought they were completely different
Yeah, was weird to me too. Some anons tested it a while back and found it's bugged to work at the moment. Might get fixed at some point, but might as well abuse it for the time being. Not like respeccing later is an issue.
Argents starter bolt is a trap, shit is nerfed
(+1 rate of fire for less damage compared to 'avg.'Bolters). Give her either of the two lasweapons imo.
IMO: ditch all into cargo "scrappy" as soon as you find alternatives.
Ripper>laspistol since those damn piss-LEDs can ONLY burstfire, no single shot avilable
>into cargo "scrappy"
*All scrappy into cargo, sry
I cheated the fricking faction rep, I guess with the dlc you'll have enought to max some of them, but as of right now it's impossible.
Any heavy weapons in Chapter 2? There are some in sale at that Saint Drusus merchant in Footfall, but the requirements to get any of them are really high at this point.
What do you guys think of using the heavy stubber instead of the heavy bolter?
I really don't understand how you are supposed to win these ship battles in chapter 2.
what are some good builds for psykers?
Pyrobio fighter
Biosanctic officer
>Psyker eyes are blue and glowing in the concept art
>Psyker eyes are blue and glowing in the available psyker portraits
>Psyker eyes in game are not blue or glowing
What did they mean by this?
Small cypriot studio, please understand, saar
Bros Idira made fun of me for being sanctioned
>Yrliet is fricking dumb
>the Farseer on Janus is fricking dumb
>Marazhai is dark eldar and therefore dumb
any other dumb elves I should know about?
All knife ears are dumb
is 40k capeshit?
yes, theres a slot for capes
@660797402
you sound mad. probably also use toybox to cheat
How in the Emperor's name are you supposed to handle these raiding events on your colonies?
What's the Emperor's name?
Emperor's name is Emperor.
Go to sleep, Ian
Kevin
'The'
i can't even beat the ship battles i find in chapter 2. playing on daring. what the frick were they thinking with these space battles
Is officer/vanguard a good combo?
They both scale off FEL. It's more melee oriented, you will have to be near your frontliners to buff them.
Yes especially if you picked sanctic psyker
Can I drop voidship battle difficulty and still get core difficulty achievements? Wrath allowed you to put those shitty worldmap battles to story mode and still get them.
You should not, it drops difficulty to "custom".
But then this IS Owlcat so who knows.
probably not, but you can use toybox
Mod to torture Yrliet to near death and make her cry in pain for her betrayal when?
Been a long time since I wanted to see a fictional character suffer this much, I want to flay her skin, torture and kill her Eldar companion I front of her and force her to eat their corpse, break every bones in her body I want to defile her for the thousands of year she'll be alive, this would be a family tradition when I die my son will take the mantel of her suffering I hate her so much nothing would compare to how hurt I felt when she betrayed me
>mod
Mods not required
You can do worse later on
/me tortures you to give up your blacked out name
WHAT IS IT
Anon, I game over'd myself 3 times trying to find a way out of the Homunculus frickery during act III before I realized it was a 100% fail condition unless you agreed to his term.
Torture ain't gonna work
When you got that dialogue?
right when you meet her in Comorragh
So you force her to stab somebody? Or deldar do that?
It seems that you can buckbreak her
Does it break her romance? I choose it
what the frick is wrong with you
Roleplayed it as a moment of weakness for my dude, I hope I can apologize later.
we are achieving levels of simpdom not thought possible
The only one who should apologize here is her you fricking homosexual, she should spend every moment on the ship doing a naked dogeza for you
is w40k just introducing more and more powerful shit in the universe without ever resolving anything?
Warhammer 40K is a setting where the plot will never resolve.
They can age of smegmar it at any moment by following on the golden egg/child/god of faith schizo theories
End Times is not canon (in my mind and games).
>resolving
Anything "resolved" would mean removing a line of models to make people pay for.
Unless it would be done in a "peaceful alliance" which would allow armies to merge, and we really dont do that sort of shit around here. As seen in GullimanYvraine and the fallout
>pick heretic choice to bring that daemon engine to my ship
>it apparently should help you when you get attacked during warp travel
>it never does
Is this just another bugged piece of shit or am I missing something?
so how badly do the Dark Eldar torture you?
Ever been tied down to a bed, stripped naked and then tickled with a feather duster? Imagine that, except now a busty female dark elf is doing it to you.
I know, it's too terrible to contemplate
Just go to /gif/ and check out bdsm threads. Like that only this time for real, none of that fake shit.
Marazhai smut piece describes blood pooling in his clavicles, so it outa be pretty metal.
Imagine spending a night with him, and then going to jimmi to heal the lascerations. I love bullying sweet jimmi
is he in?
no Setsuna Chad for the space combat minigame, you gotta do shit yourself
Iconochads somehow understand the fricking Harlequins. Part of me wonders if he's a Solitaire.
Finally
Being a clown pays off
Iconochads can't stop winning
The horned demon mask is kind of a giveaway.
I'm rusty on my lore. Aren't solitaire a pretty big fricking deal on the power level? Maybe not Primarch level, but close?
yup
he could solo the entire tower easily
It's an Eldar. Nothing they have is strong.
>Nothing they have is strong.
>t. butthurt Banana-fan
Reminder, that story ended with the Harlequins all dying except for one who saw the Emperor's psychic presence and proceeded to piss and shit herself before running back into the Webway terrified.
>Reminder, that story ended with the Harlequins all dying except for one who saw the Emperor's psychic presence
Yeah all 6 of them, after slaughtering thousands of Custards through Imperial Palace and bunch of Ordo Sinister titans and making way to Throne room
Excuse me, but how it's changes the fact that throne jannies failed to their job AGAIN?
Just like how they missed genestears infestation on a fricking Terra
>Primarch level, but close?
You're a fricking moron.
They can one punch kill custodes.
>he is called Arebennian by the other eldar
>got the mask with horns
it couldn't be more clear
>Clownchad, you want to join my retinue? My elf is defective.
Actually clown would be way more funny as companion and romance option (with secret ending RT joinning the clowns as Death Jester) instead of attempt to make average eldar into "Aerie/Shadowheart waifu"
Imagine pinning him to the ground and having your way with him. as a joke haha
Anon he plays the role of Slaanesh in Harlequin productions, he'd turn things about in an instant.
Oh noooooooo, that would be terrible!
I loved that bit
You get one again after that
Being such an idiot gives you mad clown cred
I'm pretty sure Yrliet flat out says he's a Solitaire
>469 posts
>not even 100 unique IPs
Grim tidings for this game indeed.
>BL novels
that sounds very funny
I love my powerful sister Argenta! This is the damage from just 1 burst bullet.
There are so many effects which give extra attack or reduce cost of attack, so after playing a certain setup for a bit I can attest that it's severely fricking bugged, and moreover it won't be fixed easily because of a tangled clusterfrick that should go with counting those effects and their priority over each other.
>Dual-wielded weapons
>Arch-militant
>Never stop shooting
>Effects that make pistol reolad costs 0
>Item that reduces next attack cost to 0 if pistol shot crits
I'm not even sure where do attacks come from any more, but it's unethical. I've made Argenta a normal arch-militant with 2h ranged weapon, it's already very strong but it working as intended and doesn't allow you to shot 8 times and clear everything in vicinity on a budget of 0mp/2ap turn that officer gives.
Spoonfeed me on skill checks.
Do I need persuasion on my mc or can I always just use my companions?
>can I always just use my companions
Yes, the checks take your entire party into account.
Yeah there's a talent for that, also an accessory that gives you a buff for having two melee weapons.
What about dual wielding ranged weapon like revolvers? Would my accuracy take too much of a hit to make it feasible?
Jae specifically has that as her personal gimmick I believe.
You should try to specialize in something for the moments you're alone.
Is there melee dual wielding? Can I be space Kirito?
What kind of relationship can you cultivate with the sister if romance is a no no?
These two fricking debuff are completely crippling my skill rolls, fricking hell. Especially since I chose the Forge World feat that lets me scale with social skills.
Is Yriliet’s quest - Aeldari in distress- not starting I’f you persuade the Eldar to be your vassals on Janus a bug, or on purpose?
So if I already got achievment for romance in Act1 does it mean I have to break with someone (I have no idea who I've romanced) before going for brown lady?
>50 hours
>still in chapter 2
What the frick? How long is the game.?
Chapter 2 isn't even the longest one
you know what's better than a corridor with one trap?
a corridor with 5 traps right next each other
KINO
Persuaded cassia to flamethrower somebody
>KINO
You a hoodrat, boy? No? What the frick are you doing then?
