Fug, I bought the last two pulls for Silver. She came home on the 15th ten pull along with Dorra who I pitied on her original banner. This meant I had 15,000 medals and everyone on the banner, so I pitied the only style I was missing for my bro Hector, his school style. I hear Vandalize amplifies into something nuts in the future, so I'm happy to have that for him plus the skin/art.

This Silver has no use for Vandalize+ though, her Skill 3 gives her a stackable shield which is immensely more valuable, on top of being indirect and dual attribute, same for the next Silver, putting Vandalize+ into the mix doesn't really give her any benefit, she's already pulling crazy ST DPS with her Auspicious Dragon stacks anyway and Vandalize+ will only compete with Skill 3 if she's put in a STR+ slot, unless you put her in a STR+AGI slot she's gonna suffer from needless hybridization.
I was talking about Vandalize+ for Hector bro, I just got it from his school style (well, regular Vandalize). Though I don't know if it's useful for his recent JP style.
I did not know the damage block Silver gets from S3 can stack! I saw the "(Max times: 1)" and figured she could only have one up at a time.

Need to see the GL changes, potentially the whole banner is skippable if there's no serious changes.
Hilda's niche is weaker due to GLEX Diana introducing heals for foils, she's no longer a must have if you have Diana.
Baum used to be lackluster, only kinda worth it if you have the previous Baum so she can inherit Skill 2/3 and act as a better platform for those.
Mama's a mixed bag since they buffed Mama 3 so hard this one is virtually superfluous, she does have a niche as mass charmer for a future remembrance battle but I doubt she'll keep that niche in the future and overall she'd need a serious rework to be worth pulling for if you already have Mama 3, which is a hell of a lot more valuable.
Wait until the preview, if there's no significant changes to at least Mama it's a big skip.

First two mamas weren't all that different from JP, the only notable change was Mama 2 Skill 3 having a mass heal on top of the global buffs, which was made fully obsolete by Mama 3.
Unless they REALLY rework the next one, and I mean a full rework from the ground up with pretty much all passives redone and sizeable changes to at least Skill 3, then she'll be redundant, Mama 3 stole the tankiness from the upcoming one by getting HPT in GL, and has a perfect combination of native support skills that allow for some serious versatility, this Mama doesn't, or at least won't without heavy reworks, either they make her a godlike BP battery or give her Scrum Guard+HPT, there's many possibly ways they can fix her but they need to go all out because Baum and Hilda are pretty much dead weights for GL's current state and speed, she's already carrying the banner by default but she needs serious buffs to truly carry it considering Anya is virtually not far away at all and will bring much more desirable utility, not to mention Liam 2 being on the same banner, if they want to steal israeliteels they need to earn that robbery.

Who knows, probably the other two Golden Week banners at this point, then it will probably be Mecha megabanner with Genocide Heart raid, Saruin is still far away and Anya's banner comes after the Mecha banner.
It's GL though so you'll never know, the release calendar for 2.0 is almost completely different from JP.
Golden week this month followed by robros then liam/anya is my guess.

Anya's banner is the start of the Tension VII generation so they have to get all pre Tension VII stuff out of the way first, and since Children's Day has been prepared before the other two banners we know what this month will be about.

Tension VII won't magically make your 2.0 styles useless, iirc it's like...a 5% increase compared to Tension VI? The vast majority of the best styles of JP 3.5 don't even use Tension VII anyway, the real meat of the meta from that point onwards will be who has the better chase and BP loops, GLEX Rouge isn't a Tension VII gen style and yet it's vastly better than most of those, same with GLEX Silver or GLEX Darque, Matriarch 4 will still be the go to Matriarch for a long time, Liam 1 can still work perfectly fine etc.
Some degree of powercreep is also inevitable in gacha, whether you like it or not.

Most of the styles aren't so hot without buffs, it's just favorite pulling for the most part.
The only ones that are worth pulling are Omega Body T260G, Leonard, Death Machine and maybe pzkwV.
Nacht's kit is too weird without serious buffs to its DPS, Rabbit and Zeke are made of paper for current content and Engineer Car and BJ&K are just not there on multiple levels, oh yeah and there's Mecha 3 who tries to be a Row+Column farmer in one package...with just S attacks, which is kinda sad too.
Of course this is just the JP version of the banner we're talking about, there will be buffs, some HPTs sneaked in a couple of those styles at least or better BP upkeep, but you'll still be pulling for favs more than anything so don't expect much, especially since Anya's banner will most likely come after that one.
Aw frick, Children's Day Monika already? She was one of my last hopes for bow sim. Silver left me with nothing so I guess I'll skip both her and Valentine's. Man, this is almost as bad as last late Aug/early Sep for me. Guess I'll just save for mecha, the most important banner for me. As an FFLgay, I have my sights on Mech, Death Machine and Talon, plus I like T260G and ZEKE from Frontier.
How does the super mecha festival banner work, anyway? I know it's 10 new SS styles, which is already wtf, and I think they're the only SS styles in the pool like with reprints. But even then, it'd take hundreds of thousands of israeliteels to sweep that banner even including pities. Does it have 10% rates like a bottomless? Even if it did, I doubt I could get the 5 styles I'm going for in 45k.
The megabanner has only those ten limited styles on it, so you don't risk getting Hector'd,
So the good news is that if you do get an SS it will always be one of those, the bad news is that you can still get dupes, especially of one of the worse styles on the banner like Rabbit or Zeke, so it's best save until then, this month will probably be fully dedicated to the Golden Week banners so if you skip all the banners you might end up with enough israeliteels to guarantee at least a pity in the mecha banner.

Depends on if Mat + 1 other wil buffer is good enough to take status ailments off the table. Answer to said question is dependent on the boss and it's defy/break budget.
Biggest boon is that Int, M.Arts, and to a lesser extent Str characters can be useful in hard content where right now they're hard mogged on by Dex teams for a variety of reasons most importantly due to accuracy.
e.g; JP was using Liamless teams with heartthrob
Additionally, ours is better due to defense +/- allowing slightly less of a discrepancy in outgoing/incoming damage when compared to the reduction forever peace gives even though peace still just wins out due to LOV everywhere else.
Basically it's alright but if you've got the previous mats. She might also enable alternative boss strats.
But ultimately skippable.

Ended up getting my favourite girl who has a Valentine's alt, one of my top three gals overall, Ellen. Already got her on her initial banner, but it still felt very fitting for today so I'm not too sad.

Dammit, trying to do the Darius event and it's frustrating as heck with these counter strats. Enemy keeps avoiding my counter tank and I just had to reset again because one round they used entirely indirect attacks except for one who ignored my tank, meaning I got zero damage and no BP back to use a counter stance again. I have the damage, I just don't have the rng.
I am going insane. Scher got the god roll of 2-2-3-2-2 counters over 5 turns on the first try. I have been resetting the Darius fight for over an hour now. I just now got my closest run, but my luck ran out on turn 4 and they only attacked Princess Lion a single time, meaning she couldn't counter at all on turn 5 and it was a wash. My best slash/heat/dark team didn't even reach the 5.5mil I just did, so I don't think I can do this the normal way either. Nothing is more infuriating than putting a counter tank in the highest aggro slot imaginable and watching the enemies completely ignore them and target down people in the back, reduced aggro slots, repeatedly.
There we go. Jeez, I'd pay real money for a formation with a 100% aggro slot.

Gets you over the hump at the start of a fight to avoid status ailments reliably turn 1 as most defy's resolve at the end of a turn. Also helps with overall incoming and outgoing damage (even more thanks to our buffs)
The entire ability is really good but various communities I've read through online seem to be coping about pulling yet another matriarch like they always do when a new one releases. The last mat that everybody puts on a pedestal now was also handwaved off. The one that comes after however actually is just a stinky unit without buffs so you can look forward to that I guess.

I've rebuilt back up to 21k but I haven't been this terrified in a while. Valentine's and Children's Day banners were both ones I've had on my "to pull" list since last year but I've been forced to skip both and if we follow JP's schedule, I am turbofricked by a terrifying lineup as shown here
Undine is my #1 fave girl, she's a mandatory pull for me. Then there's the Super Mecha Festival which is the biggest banner in the history of the game for me; I love robots and I have four faves on that banner I wanna chase. And then there's Liam 2, with Liam being my most used character in hard content. And that's followed immediately by a new, gorgeous Sif who is another big favourite of mine. And then Ellen, my #2 fave after Undine! And a new Asellus/PWR 2 banners later.
I have 21k israeliteels and I need at least 300-400k to get all my faves coming up. This is going to be the largest, most painful set of skips in the history of the game for me, even eclipsing when I had to skip Borgin, then Human F+Esper Girl, then Bune then Ellen at the end of summer 2022.

This game isn't that bad on that side since dailies take twenty minutes of auto at best and once you get past the stat grind threshold you really don't need to bother with most stuff in the game.
I stopped cleaning shops since years too since I'm stocked on so much stuff when it comes to components and shit there's no reason for me to ever bother doing the bare minimum, the only thing I pick up nowadays are gold pieces and books, I didn't really do much this month either outside of dailies, and a couple of days of daily autos.
This game not having PVP or Guild Wars works in its favor because I just log in and auto a few times for events and dailies. Been playing since launch and its the one of the few games I haven't quit yet.

This is the worst banner disaster this game has sprung since launch on me. Ellen is my #2, she's my fave character only after Undine. And I painfully had to skip her latest axe style. Now it's back on a rerun banner where I have 3 of the styles (missing her and Victoria), plus her new style that I wanted desperately because m. arts are my favourite weapon type tied with axes who sadly get a raw deal in this game AND the new Liam? Liam, my most used character for hard content. There has never been a worse choice between favourites and meta. If the mecha banner came after this, I might quit the game, this sucks so much.

Anya can force some specific grinding patterns just by existing and also gives buff cleanse to foils, which is useful for remembrance I guess? She also has a heal but with Hilda and GLEX Diana around that's not really all that special.
Sumire's kind of a gimmicky bossing style that has a lot of functions from full evasion on odd turns to a counter and Def weakening.
Both get good styles later that can benefit from inheriting stuff from these two styles, Anya's inherently high value for enabling more effective grinding and having a cheap buff cleanse for bosses though, Sumire's good but with general buffs and things like GLEX Urpina 2 she's just merely good.

Ellen banner was a trap. Follow meta, not your heart. That's what the game always tells me because it always brutally punishes me for pursuing the characters I like. First pull on Ellen banner was fricking Asura. Then useless Christmas PWR dupe offbanner. Then the only PWR style I'm missing, the weird spring festival one with Saber Ray and Blessed Garden. Then nothing. Then nothing. Then another fricking Asura. This dude looks so useless in my over-saturated m. arts box.
To be fair they buffed Asura's counter stance in GL to be a SSS, which is a kinda big since he's no longer mediocre at his niche, he still has issues with BP cycling but with an SSS AoE counter and his OD gimmick he can have some neat uses.
Anya's banner is still better though, for some reason they gave Liam 2 HPT and his Skill 3 is also dual attribute, Zozma's kinda meh but he's still a decent pick for sword remembrance due to his heal and overall versatility.
And then nothing but dead pulls. 38k for nothing. Should've given us 50,000 israeliteels for logging in instead of 5,000 if they were gonna pull this.
I think I may uninstall after playing this every day since before launch (a couple countries got it early). I don't think I can take this any more. I have nothing left and nothing to look forward to but more crushing disappointment. I nearly quit last late summer/fall but was talked off the ledge by you guys with the upcoming half anni select tickets (which didn't let me get any of the faves I was forced to skip then) and reprints being a thing, but reprints have been nightmares that I can't touch, like the one today.
I am never going to recover from this. This triple skip (which is so much worse than a skip because I'm not saving israeliteels; I just blew everything for NOTHING of value) already hurts so much and there's a ton of top faves coming right up in this hell period, including that mecha banner presumably. It's never gonna get better. And every time I log in, I'm gonna have to face that. I'm grinding for nothing, for styles I won't be able to get. I don't want to skip everything for months to go in on one reprint that will maybe happen six months in the future and be powercrept to hell while countless styles for my faves pass me by.
And the worst part is, this experience taints the rest of this awesome series for me, because I'll think of Re;UniverSe whenever I play moments from it in other SaGa games and see the characters that I like who made me quit.
Yeah, I saw HPT on Liam 2 and was like holy shit he's everything I wanted Liam to have. Another reason to quit though, I'll never have that style.
Frick, maybe I should just close the app and sleep on it til tomorrow but I'd just be logging in to an account with zero israeliteels and no prospects. Another lame thing about quitting is that I won't even get much of my free time back because this game is 99% macro grinding on my laptop in the background.

Yeah, JP is horrifying to look at, as they've been getting new things for my faves for like a month straight. I have never recovered from last summer's disaster, I've been living pity to pity for over six months now. I love this game and the characters but the gacha brutalizes me to no end. It's the only game where I've kept track of how many banners I have to go to pity on and it's always been around a 50/50 split which feels pretty awful. Frick, I'm so split. On the one hand, I know it'd be easy to continue because it's so low maintenance, but is it worth it to skip 99% of what I want so I can get 1% every six months or so? Is it worth this continuous feeling of want gnawing at me as I know I can't even get a decent fraction of my faves? I ended up liking way too many characters. Even if it's less than half the styles that come out, it's still not viable. I set myself up for disappointment liking characters that seem to get a lot of styles.
Shiieeet, every time I try playing a game in Japanese, I have a bad time and end up dropping it pretty quickly. I know most people don't care about the story and Liam arc has been pretty meh, but I do enjoy reading all the flavour text and comments a lot. It really brings the characters to life for me and the machine translations just don't cut it for me. Without full Japanese fluency, it's a miserable experience for me of a different flavour from the miserable experience I'm having now. Not to mention rebuilding years and years worth of an account from nothing.
Crap like this, and many of my past experiences throwing away 45k israeliteels to get nothing, makes me think the global version has false rates. This never happens in the japanese version. Come home sagabro, the current event is giving away a lot of israeliteels, free remembrance-tier weapons, and much more.

Single pull Chad here on not my best performance. Did 10 singles and got absolutely nothing so then after months I decided to do a 10 pull after so long. I'm happy with this result but will keep it safe and single for a while. Anya seems lovely and so does Ellen but can't try to force luck sometimes

Single pull bro, I tried doing some singles on Liam's banner as I've been hoping to become a single pull chad. I had enough to do seven singles and I actually got two SS styles! But it was an old Polka style and freaking Volcano's school style from years ago. I'm so mad and disappointed. But at least I've gotten SS styles from single pulls for the first time, so that's something.

Not sure why this new Pandemonium thing is so easy compared to ancient content like Wastelands that I still can't beat. My Egg team sleptwalk through the final "hardest" stage and would've won if Sherah on the final round didn't decide to nuke Liam for 3000 damage with Crimson Flare after he acted in Tiger's Den, ignoring taunt on Mask and Mask didn't cover, of course. Hopefully a reset will scrub that bad rng.

Yeah, it's a Guts' type passive so you avoid any LP loss and KO by HP damage for one fight.
It does not prevent getting sapped by LP drain though.

On a less depressing note, since attack boosts stack, if Punch Ellen triggers her first passive two turns in a row so she has two large atk boosts, is her SSSS nuke the hardest hitting single hit attack in the game?
It should be more or less in the same ballpark as Ventus' skill 3 in terms of attack multipliers, but not in the actual top tiers like Morning Glory, or Liam 2's skill 3.
So if we consider it purely from the point of view of the attack's value, as a single hit, it's probably up there but not the strongest.
ND3 comes during the summer banners, they don't generally move seasonal banners around but on the current GL release schedule it's hard to say.
We should have got the two Golden Week banners and the mecha banner before these ones but they chose to use Anya's banner to make the unity version upgrade feel like a big thing, only god knows what comes next week.

Speaking of Liam 2's S3,
got me thinking. His new chase has the highest damage so it's the best if hitting blunt weak plus it has that stacking atk boost iirc, but it sacrifices the BP generation of Liam 1's wind chase. Would it add up to more damage if you inherited Liam 1's wind chase onto Liam 2 so you can get enough BP to use Liam 2's massive S3 every other turn? At least, I think it works out to every other turn.

Hmmm, her total passive boost should be 50% iirc, if we add the defense down stack from her other passive in OD it should be 60-65%?
Liam 2 at his best should be 75% and his skill 3 is stronger than Ellen's skill 3 so in terms of theoretically highest possible performance Liam still hits harder with his skill 3, but again Ellen's up there.
The thing with this Ellen is that even if her skill 3 isn't the strongest single hit nuke in the game you can still gamble on BP rotations to spam it every so often, Liam still wins hands down in blunt dps but considering series/type locked content that's pretty relative.
When are we suppose to get ND 3? I feel like it's a waste of gems to pull for her reprin nowt since her next style has AoE heal

GL fixes are not unusual, and yeah, Wyvern 20 is a lot stronger than it is in JP, can't really do it with my current box either, I can manage 18 in most weapons but anything above that is too hard, it hits much harder and now that it can lock on you can't abuse things like AGI scumming anymore.
To be fair they're already introducing the current JP shield spam meta in GL so it's understandable that we're seeing all around buffs.

How do I get this dumb lug Asura to learn his only skill worth using, his fat counter? I switched to normal auto in the story so the enemies have a chance to attack and they've hit him with direct attacks, but no luck sparking so far.
Nevermind, got it. Jeez, even if his counter is strong, he's only ever gonna get to use it on t1. And counter tanks are only good in hard content, and there's no hard content you can clear in just one turn of countering.
The thing with Asura is that once he's in OD he gives 1BP back to the whole team for every attack he lands.
This is not super efficient considering how bad his BP patterns are but in certain scenarios it does work, you'll get the most of it in things like Wuhan/Domafa remembrance where there's multiple enemies that can use direct attacks, considering Asura's skill 3 is also SSS now he ends up having a small, but definitely functional niche.
It's will also be useful for the usual high difficulty events with teams of PCs, a field wide SSS counter is nothing to sneeze at when it comes to those, we really do need somebody who can put Taunt on OTHER characters though, it's insane how we still have nothing like that and how much the counter tank niche is suffering from it.
Speaking of remembrance, another boss for global just got announced already. I'm assuming they're coming next month. Right now I can only evolve an SS weapon once per month, so I'm hoping with the two new bosses I can bump that up to two evolutions and take the time it takes to max a weapon and cut it in half.

You don't need GLEX Femps, Berva or Sekishusai can solo her, she herself can also carry her whole fight due to her counterstance gimmick, then there's things like Mat 3 giving a shield to everyone, Taria 3 or GLEX Neidhart also giving themselves a shield every round etc, it's not a hard fight, if anything it's extremely easy.
Not saying it's hard but the whole oneshot bullshit is getting of hand. What's the point of mitigation and healing when shit just bonks you for two times your hp even on reductions.

The only remotely dangerous attack she has is her skill 3, anyone with HPT who builds up against slash and with 2K HP or so can survive it easily, hell even Berva can survive it on Hard with guard up and he has no HPT, nevermind how you can debuff her morale either, there's bosses where you can't tank nukes but Sumire's not one of them.
And again, you have people that can deflect attacks, her only threatening move is a direct attack that not only you can tank with the right character, you can deflect it altogether and counter, so again, Urpina, Sekishusai, Gen, Noel and whoever has a deflect Slash/strike counter dabs on her.
I really don't see where's the issue.

I remember when this PWR came out on JP and people here said she was OP/busted. Ah, HPT on Asellus too? I'm dying over here.
Blood Sucker is an extremely strong option, especially when paired up with HPT, but I wouldn't call her broken, her rotations still suck and she doesn't have access to any actually broken stuff like shields or chases.
You pull for this PWR mostly because she's a sword style that can inherit all of the previous PWR options and bring them to remembrance fights for support, sword healers are still somewhat rare and the three Still Blade Light users are made of paper and kinda obsolete by now since sturdier options like PWR or Zozma exist, PWR can also act as a souped up Matriarch for general STR/AGI purposes.
Asellus is in a similar situation, her on demand cover is a strong tool but the real reason you'd pull for her is to bring over her previous tools to short sword remembrance fights, not to mention that Patrick (pbuh) has recently claimed the niche of meatshield entirely for himself as the absolute god emperor of cover tanking, that said if you have the recent NY Asellus this one can be really good at cover tanking since NY Asellus' skill 3 can help her self top damage and add even more damage reduction on top of HPT and her cover reduction bonus, problem is the rotation for that is admittedly garbage without a BP battery, so again, same fundamental issues as this PWR.
Constance is perhaps the one style that can stand more on her own due to bringing Scrum Guard+ to maces, which is really valuable, and having a pretty strong, but RNG dependent support kit, that said her importance has been somewhat lessened by the buffs given to Thyme, who doesn't have Scrum Guard and two party heals but is also much less RNG reliant on his stuff than Constance, granted you could easily stack both of them for remembrance fights (and Mask) and end up with incredibly consistent turtling.

The new event doesn't even have a higher stat cap than the main story chapter we just got, and I already have all 116 characters that I use/like/could find a feasible purpose for all fully stat capped so I don't even have motivation to grind.

That's what I do though. And it's just pity after pity. I have to pay for a pull to finish pitying GLEX Silver. Problem is, if I take a break all the issues will just snowball. The game is low maintenance, I can't justify dropping it when all it does is run in the background. I kinda wish we'd get more content that's engaging other than remembrance which is a pain in the dick and flat out impossible for some weapon types for me. Something a bit more than the romancing fights but with not as many fights as Egg (which is coming back, but I already fully cleared it).
Just do your dailies, this game is a casual grinder, no need to hurry or worry about anything but saving israeliteels for your best homies.
Bad luck streaks suck balls though, I'm in one myself ever since I burned all my luck on the NY banners, admittely I got away with too much shit (Got five out six styles in the Asellus/Ciato banners in for 3300 israeliteels) but my luck has been terrible ever since

Well, one day I discovered how easy macros are to set up and the rest is history. The game essentially has infinite stamina, as the more you grind, the more stamina you get, and it's practically impossible to spend it all before the current wave of pots runs out. There's only been one time in the game's entire lifespan where there was an odd dry spell of no new limited time stamina pots, so I dipped into my eternally growing permanent pots back then. The list of chars started with the ones I was using and a few faves, then grew and grew as more characters I liked were introduced, my fave series (FFL 1/2/3) got more and more characters, remembrance became a thing that demanded a bunch more characters and I started finding uses for certain plat/welfare styles.
I don't even macro grind 24/7, but they stop showing sparkles faster than you'd think and all it takes a few events in a row with the same cap or a dead week to get everyone up to cap again. And you get stuff like the latest story chapter which has stages that can be cleared with just a single action per wave and four trainees able to be carried, which combined with all the 3x boosters had me capping at least 4 to 8 characters per hour
Now I'm just going through the list of every character I own in order of weapon type, starting with swords. It got me to notice characters I've never even touched, like SS Bear. I just realized he has Still Blade as his S3, which just got amped to SSSS damage. Makes me wonder if he'll ever get a proper style to take advantage of a nuke like that.

That said, it's not really that bad considering it's this game. But man are you lucky that you had a FFL favortism since most other games would have ended up with you being incredibly upset on how paygated or intentionally frustrating progression becomes.

Yeah, I'm glad I'm not trying to collect every Katarina. And I keep hearing about cool new styles for the gang in JP. I'm missing SS Borgin, and the latest Human F and Esper Girl but other than that I have the rest at 50, lots of hidden stats unlocked for each and almost all their skills and spells at rank 99. I wish I had the willpower to focus exclusively on pulling FFL styles and chars, but I couldn't help becoming attached to other characters like Mirsa and Undine, so I'm not feeling confident in my ability to get more FFL styles in the future. Mecha and Death Machine in that big mech banner's got me sweating.

I keep a list of everything that I regret skipping, and it's huge. We're in the middle of one of the heaviest times for me with the banners floating around and coming up next. And the worst part is, the ones I am forced to skip (like Asellus and PWR right now), I feel like I'll never get because all reprint banners are constructed in a way that uniquely screws me over, sticking 1 style I really want with 3 ones I have and 1 that's just kinda there, making every single one a trap.
I wish we could get three months with no new styles for characters I like but that is actually impossible looking at JP's schedule. I haven't recovered since last summer and never will, I'd need at least two banners in a row (that I pull on, so not counting ones I skip) where I don't need to pity and that's just not possible with my luck.

It really feels like the battles start becoming RNG heavy with and after the griffin fight.
oh, and mariah had a maxed out Gungnir. so she also had that 9% damage reduction.
Don't think I'm going to try again, it took 50+ turns to get to Round 9 in the first place.
I auto'd R2 up to rank 7 and half of rank 8 with my Dojo team, GL Kami 3 is still a beast if he can get his coin tosses consistently.
Switched to a manual GLEX Silver/Liam DPS team and it was all easy, still have to do Challenge though, but my ISP is currently shitting itself so I'll try later this evening, maybe that one will actually force me to care, but only R3 will be actually hard at this point.

...do you even need any of the new units there? Zozma is niche at best, liam is a shitty sidegrade. Only anya is somewhat useful for like 3 difficult future bosses for buff erasing, but even then there are alternatives like arsenal or the glex rising nova amp users. Stop pulling like a madman, please. Only pull once you have 45k to avoid frustration. Only do single pulls as well; it helps for saving.
I don't need anything except I guess better bows, but none of my faves use bows except Monika (who I had to skip). Zozma's atrocious, so of course he's the only one I pulled so far. I like Anya more now after the latest story chapter focused on her, so I'd be glad to get her but she's not a must for me. Liam's my most used/favourite char to use on hard content, so I really want his new style as it fixes one of the biggest issues I still run into with him (getting bursted down/hyperfocused by a boss at 1 LP despite formation, taunt and cover). Singles have never given me anything good.
Spiral comes at the end of the month due to the new tickets and floors being added, but Anya's banner will still be active by then.

iirc it should be Diana/Jean/Dragon Knight, none of these styles are particularly noteworthy, just standard plat pool material unless changes happen.
Of the new styles, the dragon knight is good for wyvern remembrance with his str debuffs. He was my second mvp, after souji. The rest are trash though.

Better get used to them since they'll be the new standard from now onwards, the passive combination is also better than normal rainbow molds precisely because outside of a couple of stinky passives like Combo%, they cover a wider range of characters compared to standard rainbow molds, which are usually aimed at just 1 or 2 characters.
The current vermilion molds for instance aren't just for Anya, but pretty much for ANY female foil user outside of some rare exceptions like Aisha/Flammar/Sapphire, say you have Hilda, GLEX Diana, any Monika, Fatima, Selma or even the current on banner Asellus, there's nothing better than the current Vermilion molds outside of a fully upgraded remembrance rapier, those molds are THAT good, even though they'll be obsolete by the time the latest ALL SERIES molds will hit the game.
Eh, I had the molds to spare and figured if he's gonna start learning spells, it might be handy to have in my back pocket. Didn't expect it to be so rough though, but that's how desire sensor works (got a perfect bow for Monika in 10 forges despite not even having her).
That's a good point about the number of characters that can use the vermilion molds. I was focusing on SaGaRS+ passives because it's the best overall passive, but I should go make some more for Diana and Monika too.

Long story short, with the current end of Liam's story raid JP introduced a new mold category that gives an All Series set of bonus, so basically any mold other than maybe Lapis molds for Critical type attackers is now obsolete in JP because the new molds can give an unconditional 110% modifier to anyone regardless of series, attack types etc.

You need like 2000 molds to craft a single weapon, though. It may seem cool, but grinding them is just a pain in the ass.
You don't need a perfect weapon to make him work. It's not like he needs any other weapon than the brionac. All those molds could've seen use to make easy double "male 30%" for all male gun users such as fuse, or the human. But i'm sure you ignored all those weapons and sold them anyway.

About to try the final floor of the second Turbulent War, and it's kinda spooky that my 110k CP teams trigger the warning flag for being underpowered, but my Egg team that's 114k CP is enough to not get warned. I must be just at the minimum power level the devs think I need to be to try this stage.
And wiped to a turn 1 Ultrasonic Wave that confused my whole party, leading to Liam massacring everyone. Now that I know it's coming up, I'll try and OD my WIL buffs for that round. I just pray 3 WIL buffs will be enough.
And after a couple resets due to bullshit rng, I got back to the bug Ettin on wave 8, did my OD, he didn't use any status ailments and instead hit Liam with a nuke (that he somehow survived) and then promptly died. Wave 9 is for fat purple dudes, who targeted Liam down, killing him, and then put my whole squad to sleep with Lullaby.
So I guess it's just a total crapshoot, I have to guess whether to OD my WIL buffs on either wave 8 or 9. Takes too long to keep running this, so I have to stop for today.

He has Left Fork so he's a slightly better Mirsa without Still Blade Light, won't matter much when the next Mirsa comes up and makes Albert fully obsolete though.

They gave him HPT and now Skill 1 recovers HP (minimal) on hit, since it has two hits this is actually pretty good, Jamil was already a good bow style but these changes make him even better, very good for remembrance considering how much he can get from his previous styles and how good this style is as a base.
Verdict: Must get for remembrance

Claudia was already good so the buffs are minor and nothing that really changes her value, she's Claudia so she's automatically god tier due to developer bias, a 9BP SSS column pierce is ridiculous and she also has the Galaxy equivalent for Pierce, except it's still 16BP so it's T2 only, still ridiculous.
Verdict: God tier farmer, god tier remembrance style

Sif has received some interesting changes outside of stat buffs though some of those are indirect changes that are also interesting on their own.
First off she's no longer slow as molasses (71>95%AGI) her second passive no longer gives her 30% damage on OD attacks, instead she now builds up OD gauge every turn and when activating OD she gives Guard Up (medium) to all allies for two turns and also gives a minimal heal to everyone.
The second more interesting change is a change to Sky Dive+, now Sky Dive+ gives OD charge (Small) to everyone but the user, you know who else has Sky Dive? Aisha, and Primiera among others but Primiera's a loser in this game so Aisha's the big deal here because she's getting a FOIL style next, and you can slap it on her for remebrance purposes.
Verdict: She doesn't suck balls anymore, could be better but at least is usable and with a unique perk that could be built upon later.

2 Axe users are better than 1.
Two axe users? Aisha swaps to foils in the next banner, the only axe user in there is Hawke, who's admittedly pretty good even without considering how they'll buff him, mostly because he's just stage Dantarg but with an Axe.
The current banner has Albert being kind of dead weight, Sif hanging in there and Jamil and Claudia carrying it for remembrance/farming value.
Next banner, without considering buffs, has Aisha being the dead weight, Hawke being good for remembrance/row slash farming, Barbara hanging in there as farming support and Grey being a weird hybrid of row farming/bossing due to his SSS>SSSS slash frost charge.
Grey is also currently completely obsolete in that specific niche due to people like Human Male, and more importantly Edel who's THE slash nuker in the game with his absolutely ridiculous OD chase and being able to fill his OD gauge at will in one round.
Both banners are largely about pulling for favorites, both are remembrance focused, neither are particularly better than the other, it all depends on how desperate you are for either bow or axe remembrance, and if you need pierce/slash farmers.
Man, I love conquests. I think they're my favourite content in this game. It's not just because they're great ways to power up your teams or because they give lots of israeliteels to try and get new styles.
For me, it's the maps and the sprites. They're so damn soulful, and I mean that unironically: they have heart, especially the themed boss sprites for stuff like music fest and prefecture tours. I really like fantasy maps, it's part of why I love jrpgs.

PC gets to slap japanese voices on ENG text easily, that's it.
After the RS2/3 remasters they're developing the remasters in-house, probably because the team can afford it now, so there's not a lot of differences between ports outside of maybe loading times on mobile.

You have dual language options, but if you choose JP the text also gets switched to JP, you can't choose JP audio only.

Play a better saga game, like scarlet grace, or unlimited saga. Minstrel saga is overrated, and gets boring after two or three playthroughs. Save yourself the headache.
"Modding" a English Subs only it is easy in the sense you just swap the English voice file with the Japanese voice file in the programming files and call it a day.

Minstrel Song Remastered fixes a lot of the under-the-hood programming error stuff that the PS2 version had. Also increases droprates on a ton of items (some people think the Treasure Map droprate went up; I'm inclined to agree but that might be confirmation bias), includes a robust and customizable NG+, has 2x and 3x speed, makes 4 NPC-only characters playable (Monica, Schiele, Marina, and Flammar), and changes some of the recruitment stuff like Dowd being recruitable right out of the gate without having to do the Jamil stuff and Freilei hanging out with her sister in Weiserheim if you turn her down to be recruited later.

Forgot to mention it has extra superbosses that unlock on your next playthrough after you beat 10 Fatestone Saruin. I think beating 10 FS Saruin also unlocks new gear in the drop/treasure tables as well. And another important thing is you don't actually have to listen to all the spoken dialogue if you don't want to. You can just press whatever the confirm button is to get the text to pop up at once, although some scenes won't let you.
Swapped GLEX PWR to GLEX Diana and got some great rng, so that's the second Turbulent War down.
Finally! On the tenth ten pull, I got him. No Anya along the way, gonna have to skip her. Now I can save up for Undine and robots. Gonna be cutting a number of other banners out of my pull plans too.
I think I kind of underestimated Sif.
With the new OD buildup she's actually quite strong as a manual nuker and party OD builder, outside of Ellen I don't think there's any other Axe nuker who hits as hard as her, and Ellen's also heavily RNG based so the difference isn't actually that much, on OD she hits harder than So-Cho, which is impressive given she's using a mere SSS instead of a SSSS, still no match for Roufas, Liam or GLEX Silver but she also doesn't come with the downsides of any of those three.
Think I will try Wyvern today. Are there any particular turns where I need to do particular things?
Fight is fairly straightforward, the Wyvern will pelt you with lots of AoE and sometimes a couple of ST attacks, none of them hit particularly hard but multiple rounds with three or so AoE will wear down your party pretty fast if you don't have countermeasures.
Key points are:
>Wyvern will put Guard up on round 1 and every three rounds after that, it also gains DEF UP stacks every round for four rounds or so, so he gets tankier as the fight goes on
>Lots of AoEs every round, though many of his attacks are direct so you can also counter them and stop Triple Strike from dealing too much damage if you're lucky
>At Round 3 and every three rounds Wyvern will enter an evade stance that lets him evade five hits, this is a [Fast] stance so the trick here is to enter OD and beat him up before he gets the evasion ready, Round 3 and the beginning of every round past its evasion state will be where you do the biggest damage since its Guard Up state will go off, so it's best to focus on building BP for OD combos on those rounds.
Also forgot, after his first loop, he'll use Oscillation on every round after the one where he uses the evasion stance.

pretty much, the AOE are mostly there to charge your OD and check if you can mitigate the damage well enough to survive and win the DPS race
Sword 15 turned out to be pretty easy, I overkilled it on turn 6. Not sure I wanna try Sword 20 though, I imagine the damage is pretty rough. Leon and Mirsa are showing their age as they're pretty squishy. Kinda wish I could pull for Al now that he's a better Mirsa when it comes to damage, though I like Mirsa more so w/e.

Currently, his Skill 3 is virtually the single strongest slash nuke in the game, charge notwithstanding, and since he's built to be a row nuker getting that Fast actually makes him worth pulling...if you don't have Noel/Leonard/Last Empress/Hawke that is.
Still, he will basically be able to carry Wuhan Remembrance when it comes to great swords, that's not a terrible deal but I still wouldn't pull for him.
Honestly it's kind of meh banner, Grey's only good for one thing too many people do it already, being the best in a 1-3 rotation isn't exactly a major reason to pull for him, at that point Hawke is ironically more reliable as he will clear a row in T1 without fail due to frontloading more power than Grey, his Skill 2 is ridiculously useless for this style though considering he has zero natural damage mitigation whatsoever, the innate mitigation of a defensive counterstance means very little nowadays, but maybe they're hinting at a GLEX here.
Aisha's buffs are negligible, still, she does have access to 25% morale down which is pretty useful, especially for remembrance, and given the GL change to Skydrive+ she can also work as a decent OD battery, which is pretty decent, but still very unfocused.
Barbara has the opposite issue where she's stuck doing nothing but spamming Skill 3 and hoping her 20% damage party passive procs, but as much as the defensive buff she can give is pretty impressive she's stuck with no mitigation of her own, you can inherit Power Snatch from her GLEX if you have it, but that will frick up with her rotation tremendously and without those defensive buffs she's dead weight.
Barbara is the only style here who offers something significant to anyone and somebody that can't be done by other people, the rest is remembrance material with either niche or overlapping applications with past styles, Barbara is virtually really relevant in actual hard content but I don't know, I'm not really convinced, I'd need to see her in action.

The new Gray event has the same stat cap as the conquest's boss nodes and the Sword Demon seems way easier to kill in one turn with 2 characters, so if you guys still have Anya boosters left, now seems like a great chance to use them for easy triple stat gains.
I'm using my usual single enemy farming team of Liam #1 in the front of Magia fight and GLEX Doll in the back with three trainees in the middle.

What sort of team are you using? I can't remember what I beat it with, was probably either AGI cheese or Tiger's Den turtling witih Liam.
I haven't really tried to optimize it. It just looked like another of those overtuned gimmick fights which requires a lot of reloading so I didn't even bother.

SSG might get more focus with the new story season in general, Liam's story included some of Unlimited's story and pulled Chaos Ruler near the end, Firebringer is one of the few final bosses left and will likely come around in the next season.

I think I've figured out what I'll do about this banner. Since Hana's all I want from it and I care more about collecting all the FFL/GBSaGa styles than remembrance (I'm still missing SS Borgin and UDx Human F and UDx Esper Girl), and Hana's latest style has no use outside of one remembrance fight, I think I will wait 15 months to get her from a select ticket, kind of like I did with School Sif and School Hector.
I will save my israeliteels for GW Undine, and Mecha/Death Machine/T260G on the super mecha fest banner.

I am hoping Super mech banners get super buffs for being delayed.
It happened to the Robin family banner and made Polka one of the best characters in the game, so here's hoping, fellow robot enthusiast.
The bulk of the buffs is probably going to Rabbit, BJ&K, Mecha and EngieCar, there might be some heavy reworks in some cases.
The rest were already decent to good, if a bit niche in some cases like Nacht, but seeing how they made Vampy's skill 2 into something that is actually really nice despite the time travel I've got some faint hopes.
She's the only foil user outside of Jamil who can charm, it's gonna be real useful for Wuhan Remembrance, it's the main reason why they made her time travel really.
Her Skill 2 will also be very, very good on the next Vampy style.

I like Vampy and played this game for all those years for her but her next style is also medicore and S2 does nothing for that due to S3 BP costs (even if it's 5 only) and being a chance on a chance to even function as a support or sustain tool is horrible.
Rouge has usable RNG. Vampy kinda has crapshoots where her BP off of S2 looping is 3.5 a turn. It's not particularly good. Rememberance bait never mattered to me Mostly because I wanted each weapon to have a GLEX before I started and Axe never got one which contributed to me quitting. At any rate this style being generally unsable everywhere but remembrance bait means I might fully be well detached by the time her next style (doesn't) get buffed next year.

I never said the next Vampy was good, but the new skill 2 from this one gives her something to do after her party wide stacks of Heat+Def up are loaded onto the party, 25% for 2BP might be crappy considering what will be out by then but it's way better than what she already has, possible buffs notwithstanding.
Would I use the next vampy as a general party support over somebody like say, Hardy? Hell no, but it makes her suck less and almost kinda worth using, we all know Vampy's a meme they use to bait people to waste their israeliteels anyway, making her passable is better than being a complete meme.

Hello Saga Bros, single pull Chad here once again. I'm now at 76k gems but decided to keep it safe and single on this new vamp lady banner. 2 pulls in and I'm already happy with the result. Is King Sei worth it? I like his design and build
He got slight buffs in GL and came much earlier than usual, to put it short, Sei's gimmick is basically being Souji on steroids, he starts off with 20 BP and has two A power AoEs that cover either Slash or Strike attribute, with a 90% total damage multiplier he can T1 and T2 consistently with those on a lot of content, making him a pretty great farmer.
Alternatively he can also help in maps that have two boss nodes by being able to T1 and T2 with a SSS Slash/Shadow attribute, it's fairly niche but still applicable in things like conquest raids.
In short, he's a solid farmer, he can also act as an emergency manual morale buffer in some hard content but be aware that Sei's made of paper and without extreme party support like GLEX Femps' full round damage immunity or the upcoming shield spam meta he won't survive long.
So with a nice team he can bomb shit up huh? You sold him to me like this, gonna try and get more luck now
His main purpose and niche is being an exceedingly stable T1/T2 farmer pretty much, that's not something a lot of people can do and he largely outclasses most people in how competent he is at that, so if you need somebody who can cover T1/T2 on a slash/blunt/shadow stage he's your man.
The caveat with Sei is that in some scenarios he'll probably need a bit more firepower to truly carry a team on his own, and of course the double edged blade of the time travel bonus is that he'll also get outranked faster, once people like funeral Laura come around you'll start seeing a big power gap in efficiency for the same T1/T2 routines.
I'm not sure he can even do his own event stage 10 on his own currently unless you have a maxed remembrance weapon, but he will absolutely demolish any main story farm stage or really any 3 wave stage.

I'm thinking when Undine's banner comes along, I'll chase her with singles because I have no interest in any of her bannermates. That'll be my first time truly going deep on singles on one banner, but I don't have any faith as I've never had luck with singles.

The more I think about doing singles vs my usual ten pulls, the more my doubts grow. Doing singles is only good if there's nothing else on the banner you want, in which case, pulling on that banner probably isn't a good idea in the first place. At most, singles save you 2700 israeliteels if you somehow luck out and would've gotten your banner target on the first pull in the ten pull they would've appeared in, which isn't much considering I usually have to dump 45k to get the one style I most want on a banner and the chances of actually saving those 2700 are very slim, 1 in 10. I'm not sure if I've even seen my target appear in the first pull on a ten pull more than once or twice in all these years. Meanwhile, going for tens comes with the side benefit of possibly grabbing another banner style in the same ten pull, having it pop out between 1 to 9 pulls later when you otherwise would've missed it by doing singles and stopping immediately upon reaching your banner target. I've seen this happen several times in the past, though I haven't kept count of it.
So I guess it comes down to whether or not I want to give up a shot at one or more extra limited styles to save a handful of israeliteels.
I think now the way to try a real 50/50 would be singles and then when you get the equivalent of a ten pulls, do a ten just to see what comes. Might be almost the same who knows, I'm now at 68k so I gotta keep it together cuz once you say "one more just to see what happens" you're doomed.

Just went to check GW Undine on nao's database and was surprised to find GLEX Undine there as her latest style for JP. They must've just got her. They replaced Tension V with Tension VII, kept her second passive the same and buffed her chance to evade and small heal to a chance to evade and medium heal. Her unique S3 got nerfed from B power to C power for someone reason, and she comes with Rain of Life+ instead of Rain of Life (is that amplify on global yet?).
10% more END and AGI, and 5% less CHA.

It's the remembrance sword. I'm glad I waited for the month to roll over before using my last Anya boosters on the spooky spring festival event, 'cause now with the sword maxed Arthur can go from carrying three trainees to a whopping four like I mentioned in my last post. Thing is, it requires the remembrance sword to be maxed and Arthur himself to be maxed. Before last night, I had a maxed as max can be Arthur (hard stat capped, full promo scrolls, all four tiers of hidden stats unlocked) but because the remembrance sword was "only" SS and two out of four stars, he couldn't quite one-shot King Sei on wave 2. Even now with the sword all maxed, the rare low damage roll can cause Sei to survive with a single pixel of health.

Looked up the mech styles last night on the JP database, they looked pretty trash by global standards so I prayed for buffs as I went to sleep. And they all got buffs! I'm not smart enough to tell how good the buffs make them, but I'm pretty pleased with what they did to T260G, ZEKE, Leonard and Warmech. So many robots, I hope I can get a few on the way to pity!
Zeke is still kinda garbage, Rabbit is the real black horse of the banner, if his new BP battery passive works with his satellite chases he might be very good strong despite having no defenses whatsoever.
Nips just can't get enough of school SOL, the manga spinoff is kinda cute too to be fair, if not incredibly clichè.

These fights are pretty ridiculous. The amount of damage they're pumping out every turn is crazy. Even with scrum guard and tigers den you need even more defense buffing and constant small heals to last long enough against them.
I've only managed to clear the 2's, because I have the concert goddess, holy moon on scrum guard fempress, scrum guard gustave and mariah, I haven't been able to come close to beating it in the other categories.

I tried spamming spread shot the first couple of rounds but eventually the damage just becomes over whelming so you're better off just focusing King Sei with Claw Bit Ejection.
Everyone should be wearing the strongest slash/sun equipment possible.
Word of warning though, I won this fight with ZEKE and Mesarthim going down, the fight is still awfully RNG intensive. Lost a couple of fights with King Sei focusing Mersathim early on with his strong single target skills back to back.

I used whirlwind formation, front row was kid monika liam2 and golden baum, back was muse (frozen scene) and mama 4 with pean of victory, have to survive 2 turns atleast with muse getting 2 peans atleast to have a chance to stick petrify on the skeletons, once I did that it was smooth sailing raping them with liam.

I strongly recommend to do so since Rabbit's passive triggers on Ra-Bit chases.
But to give a quick rundown:

Excellent row farmer and bosser, if you have the previous omega body style you can get a SSS+SSS Heat/Blunt chase on OD which is Roufas tier damage, otherwise you can slap Bit Shot on this style for better survival.
>Rabbit
Good T1-T2 farmer for heat/sun, pretty good damage pusher on boss fights thanks to being able to stack chases with Ra-Bit, the real reason you want rabbit is that his passive 2 DOES trigger on Ra-Bit chases, which means Rabbit is the only thing this game has to a functional BP battery, problem is it's made of wet paper, even so he's a must for supporting Liam in DPS if you don't have Shuzer.

It's ridiculously tanky, tankier than Engineer car ironically while having better damage, must get for Siegfrei remembrances since Proton Rocket will be inefficienct compared to Terminator Laser. Nearly impossible to kill, especially once all of its stacks are up, also good for T2 and row farming

Actually, small update on T260G:
System Overload stacks with itself, that is you get multiple SSS chases on OD which are ridiculous fricking damage at max stacks, and if you have Thyme/Concert Doll/The latest Sif/Aisha you can help T260G to push OD way more frequently too, which makes her pretty damn beastly since she can do SSS+SSS+SSS+SSS+SSS+SSS on Overdrive, and if you happen to have a three SS OD Damage% gun that would be absolutely fricking ridiculous damage too.
you're tempting me to do a few pulls
Keep in mind a lot of it is condensed information, if you want to go indepth in some particular styles then your average rating on how good most of those styles are will probably be different.
Nacht for instance can pump up pretty decent damage once all of the Heat Up stacks are on, if you want you can also keep stacking Skill 3 five times and get a statistically insane column attacker on paper, but Nacht's main issues are that it has zero defenses, much like Rabbit, and it doesn't offer anything other than column damage without its previous style.
BJ&K's medkit buffs DEX so it's definitely geared towards gun comps, making it ideal for remembrance fights but also decent support for Liam especially, in any boss fight, though I'd personally go with Ogniana in that case since her heal gives Heat Up stacks and also heals her, if you don't have Ogniana he's a good Liam healer though, and again he makes Mei Ling obsolete for gun remembrance which is good since there's not really that many gun healers outside of her, only Onsen Emilia and Cindy count and both are AoE healer, with the latter being RNG based.
Zeke is another case where he can potentially be an extremely good farmer in a vacuum due to having what is effectively an A+ power AoE for every single round, which can also come in handy for final island, so even if you can't do three rounds with just that it sure can help clean up somebody's else's job.
Honestly the only downright bad style in this banner is Engineer Car due to the lack of firepower/self heal, everyone else has either a good or very strong niche, coupled with the 10% pull rate I strongly suggest to make a pull or two, Rabbit alone is ridiculously valuable for anyone, barring a few possible surprise along the way it's one of those very rare valuable banners alongside Saruin's banner, the next Halloween banner, the pirate banner, Iskandar's banner and the more recent streak of banners for the end of Liam's story.
I'm so happy T260G is finally good after collecting all of her styles since launch. Great to hear about Rabbit too and I'm extremely pleased to hear Warmech is that good considering I was just pulling because it's a fave. Sad that I had to skip Nacht's first style and after playing through the event, I'm kinda sad I didn't get pzkwV. If only one of the six or so dupes I pulled on the way to pity was T260G or pzkwV, it'd be a full set. Also sad to hear Engineer Car's so bad because the art is fantastic and I like its personality.

See, the thing is Shuzer and Rabbit have a small overlap in being gun chasers, but they cover different weaknesses so it's not a total overlap, both end up being relevant in different content.
The other thing is that Shuzer is a boss DPS kind of character, his purpose is to cover what Liam doesn't cover, pierce damage, Rabbit's niche is being a BP battery, which is a whole other purpose and much more widely applicable...in theory, were it not for the fact that Rabbit has zero defenses, unlike Shuzer.
If we're looking at the current state of GL, Rabbit is relatively groundbreaking, if we're looking at what the game will be in six months or so, Rabbit will still be very good, if we make a comparison with the current state of JP, Rabbit starts looking less favorable as rotations are much more stable on average, support styles get MUCH stronger and the piping hot Kujinshi (Forma de Jannie) also gives everyone a 25% chance to gain 2BP just by being there on top of being ridiculously hard to kill, unlike Rabbit, and having even more ridiculous self buffing.
But of course, talking about what will come in maybe eight-ten months or so is kinda pointless because it becomes a vicious circle where you worry about a possible future instead of looking at what you might need now.
tl:dr; If you ask me, I'd pull because Rabbit covers a lot more content than remembrance and this banner is very solid in general, if you wanna be more careful wait until the banner is almost over, so we know what's next, because a GLEX might very well be around the corner, there won't be many bow styles for a while either, outside of the next Labelle you won't see many must pull bow styles until way later.

The ones I'm most excited for though have definitely gotta be T260G, Mech, Engineer Car, Warmech, Rabbit and pzkwV. I love tanky styles the most.
Does T260G's Cosmic Rave x6 on OD outdamage everything in the game including JP? I believe the chase is a global buff, which is wild.
It's the highest possible damage per round a single character can do, yeah, it's even stronger than the latest Liam style in JP, who can also tie a SSS as a chase on top of his other D-C revolver chases.
As per actual DPS values, it's going to be impractical compared to Liam and other future chase focused styles like the latest Kami, since it's tied to OD and T260G doesn't have something like Edel's on demand access to OD.
That said, the future Iskandar can charge OD for all characters outside of himself once per battle, so when he does drop T260G is going to be pretty wild since you can do two of those absurd chases back to back, nothing stops them from releasing a GLEX T260G that can build OD faster than the current style.

Undinebro, that you? Yeah, you might wanna reroll. Mech banner has a lot of stuff to round out a new player's box and 10% SSR rates are pretty sweet, but I don't think anything in it is must have. You could skip if you want, depends how much like robots. And yeah, in JP the second most recent Undine was right around the mech banner, but global is super unpredictable (the banner before this mech banner is from 8 banners in the future).
So next banner is either the Undine banner, a GLEX banner, one of the seven banners they skipped to bring the King Sei banner forward in time, or an even further future banner brought back ahead of schedule.
Probably not the one youre thinking of, but I'm most certainly AN Undinebro.
The main thing making me hesitate to reroll is that I grinded everything pretty autistically before I stopped playing, so I have all the SS event gear up to that time, and at least 5 of every Weapon, armor, and gear stone leveled up to at least 9. I don't particularly want to do those again.
With new stat caps and expeditions, you'll grind to much higher levels in much less time, and all the SS gear you got should be in the equipment exchanges (each event comes with medals you can redeem for them). Holy stones are sort of a b***h, but now there are gold pickaxes and I'm drowning in more stones than I could ever use.
It shouldn't be as much of a pain as you think, but then again I'm looking at things through a veteran's lens so ymmv.

I take back the negative things I said about Virgil during his last banner. I was mad he kept spooking me and made me pity my gal Goddess.
But damn, this dude is a fantastic farmer.
I cleared my first Wyvern 20! I'm so glad I got to use my lil mechbro, he was an absolute champ. I don't think he ever dipped below 1400 hp and was close to full for most of the fight, using his S1 with delay to always benefit from Tiger's Den and he didn't even need OD to be up on the turns the Wyvern lowered its defenses, because his hardest hitting moves are all Fast. Even though I have all of Mirsa's styles (he's a top fave), I actually went with the platinum style as it has the highest END by far and his RNG ignore all damage passive was clutch a couple times when all he was there for was to heal and not do damage (even though he landed the killing blow).
Busted out good old Georg for Scrum Guard and clutch heals (mostly on Mirsa but once on Urpina), it's amazing how his ancient SS style holds up. I don't have Urpina's UDx or wrestling styles, so I just inherited Doppelgangers+ from a plat style for her biggest hit. Couldn't figure out why S2 from this LNY GLEX style kept missing when her other attacks always hit. I have all of Asellus' styles except her recent rapier one and the old White Day one, but didn't use anything but S1 and S3 from this style.
What's the next banner?
Joker, Fuse and Emelia.
I get to save israeliteels to maybe have a shot at Undine, but at the cost of being forced to skip a rare banner where I want all three styles. This hurts so much, I almost never get a style if I skip its initial banner.

Buffs are out, Emilia received most of them and...they're a bit weird to be honest, Fuse is basically the same, Joker is still a worse GLEX Darque outside of running on Weak instead of Critical, which makes him a little bit more versatile for boss farming I guess.
Honestly looks like a skip, This Emilia's pretty pointless as an OD pusher unless you really want to play off the recent T260G on remembrance, Sif is better for general use and the previous Emilia has more value for Remembrance imo.
Fuse looks fine when it comes to remembrance, 25% Morale down on AoE is a good thing but other than that and having Blast Heal he's not really noteworthy, good support but I'd rather use Constance at this point.
Joker just can't compete with GLEX Darque, having his SSSS tied to LP AND still having to rely on coin tosses for curing Berserk just isn't worth the trouble compared to Darque, he's not as laser focused as Darque is when it comes to DPS I guess, but in that case why wouldn't you use somebody like Ciato who has much better survivability? It's not like foils lack damage pushers anyway, he's still too gimmicky unless you don't have Darque, in which case he's a passable knockoff.
Don't know why they're delaying the golden week banners so much.
Man, I just looked over the buffs in detail and having to skip this hurts even more now, as I'm pretty happy with what they gave them. It feels like my roster is actually shrinking over time as my favourite characters fall by the wayside as I have to keep skipping all their latest styles. And now, why was I even keeping Ren's stats grinded anyway? What a mess. They'll never be back altogether on one banner again, they'll be back one or maybe two at a time on reprints where I have most of the other styles and somehow coincidentally drop at the same time as a brand new banner with better new styles for other faves so I have to skip the reprints anyway. Gonna have to wait literal years to nab these three from selectors.

How would I go about getting UDx Human Female and UDx Esper Girl? They've never had a rerun since their debut at the end of last summer, and the bottomless coming with anniversary in June won't have them because bottomless banners at anni and half anni are for Romancing Festival styles, not UDx ones. I think UDx banners now have all older UDx styles as offbanners, so do I just save up for UDx Silver, go all in and then spend 15,000 summon medals to pity one of these two FFL babes?

Yeah, JP is currently in limbo, it's not a coincidence they ended up making a banner for the school manga spinoff, they're doing filler stuff to buy time before the great reset that will happen with the next generation of OCs.
GL is a bit wilder because of the schizo release schedule at least, but it's still pretty laid back, just grind the weekly shop, do your dailies and forget.
You can do better than 99%, but that's a good sword for a lot of sword users anyway, the sunshine sword molds are really good for the vast majority of longsword users outside of hybrid casters like Zozma, Leslie, Kujinshi or Aldora who need something other than Light.

The new OC releases has been groundbreaking by themselves in their kits by introducing new concepts like Hardin bringing in permanent indirect mitigation and direct damage bonuses or Razam becoming the next overhyped reddit unit.

Razem &co aren't the new generation of OC's, they're the main story bosses of Liam's story, Iveris who recently dropped in GL is part of that team together with the dumb dragon e-girls, Orlette and Hardy, they won't stick around for the great reset scheduled in June, we're gonna get a completely new cast and big changes, we might not even keep Vanguard as a hub since it gets trashed at the end of Liam's story and they already said they're deleting most of the old functions like the Hidden Dojo once the great reset happens, expect anything.
Damn, now that's a fine universally useful sword. Short of a RS1x3 one for my boy Mirsa, this is probably the best I could forge from these mats.
A couple questions about forged weapon passives.
First, does "Combo +45%" increase damage during an OD combo, or just a regular combo? I ask because if so, these weapons could be situationally useful against Wyvern and any other boss that encourages you to use OD in the future.
And second, and this is also more of a general question about the game's damage calculations, can a skill or spell hit an enemy for multiple elements simultaneously? Or does the game just check for which element of a multi-element skill/spell hits the target's weaknesses the hardest and register the whole attack as that one damage type?
For example, I crafted an Anya rapier that has Sun +33%, Pierce +33% and Pierce +33%. If I use a skill that has pierce and sun as its damage elements, will I get the full 99% damage up bonus, or will it only be at most 66% if the enemy is weak to pierce, 33% if they're weaker to sun or the 66% pierce if they're neutral to both pierce and sun? I hope I explained that well enough.
Combo means both OD Combo and regular Combo both. Overdrive damage bonus and Combo damage bonuses stack.

If you have something that gives 10% sun damage and 10% pierce damage you get 20% bonus if you use sun and pierce both. The thing you mentioned with three 33% would all stack if you use Grand Cross.

Iirc this game uses the standard SaGa checks when it comes to that.
To keep it simple, the game does check all possible defenses when it comes to things that uses multiple attributes, but only uses the bigger weakness to confirm damage, so if you have something that has like -45 to pierce and -30 to strike and you use an attack that is both pierce and strike the final damage calculation will simply use the -45, you don't get to stack those up to a -75, conversely if you use a sun+pierce attack and the target has like +35 to sun and -20 to pierce the game will use the -20 to check for the damage.
There are fringe cases to this though, in the specific case of elemental immunities, if an enemy is immune to an elemental attribute and you have split skills with an element that is what the target is immune against your skill will do 0 damage, a good example of this is Aunus who comes with built in Self Burning, so anything that has split heat in its attribute will do 0 damage and the game won't check for the secondary attribute at all, e.g. Glex Therese's Double Phoenix shot will do exactly zero damage on Aunus.
Weapon forge multipliers are a whole different thing though and the other anon already explained it to you.

Yeah, I can only imagine how many israeliteels most people who don't have the same faves as me have been saving for the past month. At least my girl Undine finally has a big cold nuke after all these years and her stats and the numbers on her passives aren't bad. I remember when this style came out in JP I was excited because a WIL debuffer was one of the few niches my box was missing at the time, and I'd get to use my favourite character for that if I got her GW style. Now I can't remember the last time I used one, I think it was to paralyze cheese Kzinssie in a tower we got months ago. I wish she had gotten a passive that gave her a chance to get a bunch of BP each turn for better upkeep on that giant S3.
I'm bummed they didn't even bother fixing Fatima, only thing they did was making Passive 1 not completely useless, which is a shame.
Myriam is passable now that she rolls for a chase but still nothing to write home about, just a sturdier but way less powerful Onyx, Undine is also kinda useless considering she's nothing special compared to Taria and her future style has nothing to gain from this one, I guess you could slap that SSSS nuke but on a support style with 20% damage? you'd be better off keeping up the party defenses with her skill 3 rather than trying to compete with actual DPS styles with those pitiful multipliers.
Not hopeful for the boys either, guess I'll just skip entirely and keep saving money for the anniversary/future GLEX banners.

I think every tier list is shit because this game is pretty sporadic with meta. Every year is mundane until a extremely strong character comes out.
Worst part is the game is many times blurred in what is necessary so you have cases like most JP players who skipped Maria (RS2 Female Paladin) ended up screaming internally as many bosses later requires her to clear consistently.
