I didn't know the Sassanids were in Empire Divided or anything at all about E.D for that matter. Wanted to play them in Attila but didn't want to have to deal with the huns or the crop degradation system.
The Huns aren't a big issue if you're not the WRE and your heartlands aren't in Eastern Europe, and there are mods to change up or remove that mechanic.
Even so I heard that Attila's unit balance was skewed towards cavalry. I like my infantry and wanted to use Immortals so I'll play Empire Divided first.

That much is true but I appreciate it given how shit cavalry was in vanilla Rome 2
