Does Lost Odyssey run decently? I made it all the way to disc 4 years ago but ended up never finishing it. Would love to go back to it.
It's complete-able, but you can't 100% the game. Certain side quests always crash (most notably the one where you go to the royal sites which give good gear, 1 site 100% crashes). Some story cutscenes also crash but you can skip them. The worst crash is when you're locked away on a boat after a boss fight (where you switch characters), if you try switching characters you will crash, just got to wait it out to be freed and skip getting the free bonus accessory.
It's a shame because it's so close to being 100%-able.

Dark Souls 1 on PC lacks basic options, has broken sound, struggles to run even at the intended framerate, has mapping errors that make the game hang up every time you pass through the area, stupider AI than DOOM and the sound is broken on stereo sound setups.

No, they can't. Laptops are designed for productivity, not gaming. Just because something is newer doesn't neccessarily mean it has the power to emulate old video games.
