The show would be decent wthout these homosexuals. Some episodes are really interesting - whether it's a neat adventure, or an intense battle, or just showcasing some cool Pokemon...
...but every story gets interrupted by these annoying homosexuals, and it's the same old shit every time. They make the anime completely unwatchable.

I feel like Team Rocket is more of a symptom of bad writing rather than the cause. Their need to insert Team Rocket in every single episode even when the premise has little to no need of them just sucks. The episodes where Team Rocket are the actual main characters are usually really good or at least decent.
Yeah they would have been a lot better in smaller doses. Have them try to capture Pikachu every few episodes, on average maybe every 5-6 episodes. Not EVERY SINGLE EPISODE. Like you said, so many times the episode was perfect without them, definitely had enough legs to stand alone (runtime minutes). But nooooooooooooooo, have to cuck the story to shoehorn them in, every single time.

Yeah that's how I look at it. Team Rocket episodes are always good, but whenever they're used as time filler for another plot they're annoying as frick.

They are consistently the funniest part of the show until BW and XY made them too serious, then they go back to being funny.

In the later seasons, didn't the writers address this and only use them once in a while? The only newer series I've seen is Journeys and I know that's how they did it there.
