the LNs made some weird changes to many of the characters and gave the heroine an annoying style of talking that wasn't what you'd imagine after playing the game.
even still, adapting such a game with its impressive lore to a mere 200k~ Japanese characters is asking for weird stuff to happen. you can tell it received the creator's blessing, but the actual author sort of missed capturing karekusa's own style.
