        None of the first three had any issues that could be led back to sekiro though.
        Wo Long suffered mostly from being a b team made simplification of Nioh, the parry system was actually pretty nice and I liked it more than Sekiro's.
        Lies of P had shit tier enemies and the controls felt clunky as frick.
        Armored Core was perfectly fine.
        Frick if I know what the issues with rise of denuvo are. I'll find out next year.

        Armored Core 6 was ruined by the stagger system, which is effectively Sekiro Deathblow but for mechs.
        Anybody who played it can tell how far up its ass the whole game is about muh aggressive combat which can easily be traced to the shit director

          Bro come on, that's the same shit as poise breaking in the souls, ki breaking in nioh, kos in monster hunter, etc.
          It's a basic action game concept that certainly didn't begin with sekiro.

            no it isn't, in none of those games you don't deal almost any damage unless the enemy is staggered. Sometimes the game even strops the pretense and mixes stagger with shield. It's clear that it's a transposition of Sekiro stagger and deathblow system, introduced on a very misguided direction, and makes AC6 boring as frick

          you do you, it's every bit as repetitine and one tone as Sekiro and both are mediocre and hard carried by feedback and sound design more than good gameplay, so you may actually enjoy it.

          Armored Core was kino. Had the quality of Sekiro, but did not have the quantity.

          Armored core has probably 3 actual boss fights throughout the entire game.

          The rest is recycled shit.

    Seki ruined all mele combat in games to me. It’s just that good that everything else plays like shit. I’ve probably done over 20 playthoughs of seki at this point and I run the gauntlets all the time too. I have play shooters now if I want to play other games.
