I don't know if the marvel period was peak at the times but it's extremely clear how bbs was a setup for the past, ddd was the "training montage movie" and they teased a shitton of stuff at the end of the games just to create hype of the second keyblade war. So you have all the people from the past games fighting against the baddies but of course you have to save and reuse everyone so xion and namine get their bodies, axel is still alive, i swear i lost track of how many times the guy died, they retrieve ventus and aqua etc etc.

How in the living frick someone could play kh2 without com or 385 considering they were on other platforms? There is not even a recap or a "the story so far". I understand is to do a mgs2 but seriously, that was some serious bullshit.

the opening of 2 was always designed to be a "what the actual frick is going on" thing, so you feel as lost as roxas does. sora waking up from his egg pod thing is strange but the only real question you have by the end of the game if you didnt play CoM is "why was sora in a pod" and "where are the other half of the org and how were they cut down?"
sora himself and the gang dont know why the frick they were in a pod either so its easy to relate from a player's perspective too if you didnt play CoM.
half the org memebers missing is really the only big "what the frick happened" thing i can think of, since i cant remember if the game even acknowledges them dying off in CoM or not

Two sets of people hate it for two very different reasons. Gameplay is basically BBS but not balanced (balloons and flow motion break the game), and DDD is when the story stopped being “easy to follow” so it also gets the blame for that. I think it’s just okay

Also the story went full moron. Gameplay is alright but actually playing on the 3ds was not that enjoyable IMO. ReCoded plays a hell of a lot better.

We have an entire setup where they live in the same city and mickey is a sort of private detective and pete is your run of the mill gangster. He also got a female sidekickgirflriend, trudy, two little nephews, a evil scientist cousin and they clash a lot with mickey and his friends in the police force. This is a completely italian setup for mickey and pete and it was going on since the 70s way before goof troop.
