experience literally doesn't matter. most things will still take multiple hits, lvl 1s can still knock you down, and if you are the right weapon/element type you pretty much do chip damage no matter the level
the whole marketing scheme for this game was to maximize engagement and FOMO and minimize operating and development costs in the product itself, which is why it won't get any real support or DLC. it's basically a huge scam to fleece the original DD base while simultaneously training a cadre of devs on applying REngine on open-world 3rd person games.

Theyre also household names man, DDs sales as an entirely franchise is 10~ mil copies over 12 years. This is not a big franchise and its being treated like it is where its fall is from a peak it was never at. DD is this niche thing over in the corner that noone knows about, the fact that it even got a sequel at all is surprising. Playing this game right now and I don't know about you but I'm having a friggin blast with this game. The Unmoored World is really fun to roam around in.
Ill finish it when it gets some updates. Its a fun game, but it NEEDS difficulty options and more enemy variety, these are the reason I kindof got tired and felt no desire to finish it, same thing happened with DD1, but it had BBI.

Yes, but it's wildly off even by conservative estimates. Capcom publishes their own games so their costs are comparatively lower. There's also the fact that even a good chunk of console sales are digital which means the distribution costs are even lower. At absolutely most, it'd 35% overall, and Capcom isn't known for inflated budgets to begin with so the game definitely made them 10s of millions of pure profit, soon to be in the hundreds as long as sales don't magically dry up.

I'll buy it when it goes on sale for 5 bucks like I and everyone else did for the first game. I hear it's unfinished and way inferior to the first game too, which I got for 5 bucks and didnt impress me. If I paid full price for the first one I would've been pissed.
