What "inorganic hype" you fricking clown, there have been two threads about it since the announcement, the rest is you subhumans shitposting like in this thread, exactly like you do on Ganker.
I'm going to offer my theory about why this gameplay demo was made.
SaGa has no Western fanbase and they obviously made this game to attract Western players but Japanese devs don't know what they want anymore >baka gaijin like blonde cowgirl Amerika frick yeah >but also like Muslimu now? Putto hijabi in gamu too >dontu forgettu bakeneko! Baka gaijin lovu neko meme on the Internetto!
Hence the awkward video
>>baka gaijin like blonde cowgirl Amerika frick yeah >>but also like Muslimu now? Putto hijabi in gamu too
forgettu bakeneko! Baka gaijin lovu neko meme on the Internetto!
all me btw
>SaGa has no Western fanbase and they obviously made this game to attract Western players
Ah yes, because western players, especially modern western players are totally into Osaka-ben hicks, mahou shoujo or albino King Diamond. >B...but this light brown skinned SEA girl with le gun is totally le mudslime
Bonnie and Formina were made because Kawazu wanted to do another duo focused story like he did with Balmaint and Arthur in SSG, but instead of two radically opposite men it's now two radically opposite women.
Were the homosexual undertones between the huge bara Lawful Neutral executioner and the twink Neutral Evil law clerk also there to attract western players?
Or maybe you know, the series that is known for its outlandish characters and weird stories is just doing what it has been doing for nearly four decades?
>hated Scarlet
Why though? The combat is incredible, the stories are classic SaGa kino, the variations between the playthroughs are still great. What went wrong for (You)?
I liked the combat, but game was kinda boring (to me). Dunno, it's like nothing's happening in this game. It's hard to explain.
Romancing 2 and Frontier 2 are my fav.
Would you bother with playing smtiv apocalypse or skip straight to smtv? I hear a lot of mixed things on apocalypse.
I played it once and never again. It really is for Persona fans. >Apocalypse follows the neutral route >which means that prostitute Isabeau is alive
Frick this game.
Allegedly the fun is in seeing all the different outcomes to quests (both main and side stories) that have multiple routes per character, maybe even more in this one since the world will now change with every NG+ cycle depending on what you did in previous ones... But the game badly needs a speedup, or maybe even an animation skip, option for combat.
>The games had animation speed up options since a decade >hurr durr why are they showing the battle animations at normal speed in a game trailer
It's so painfully easy to see who actually plays games and who wants to shitpost.
To be fair, in SG the speed up options were locked... Either until all 4 playthroughs were finished or just 1, can't recall. Which is not as bad as not having them at all but still annoying.
You just had to finish 1 playthrough to unlock the option. if they decide to do the same thing here, it probably wouldn't be as bad as they mentioned the campaigns are shorter than the ones in Scarlet Grace.
>you have to beat the game to fast forward the combat animations
You gotta be fricking kidding me. Why? Do they really think it's that big a deal to pad the gameplay hours out? I think bragging your game was 100 hours was a bit ps1
Buying this game because it will have turn based combat of the highest order and kino storylines that defy typical JRPG conventions. Don't care what morons on vrpg think
>kino storylines that defy typical JRPG conventions
Ehhh... Will it really though? There were some interesting stories in the series, sure, but nothing really shockingly groundbreaking comes to mind.
Nothing in the medium is shockingly groundbreaking, they are RPGs, not musings on the human condition or the mysteries of the universe
>you have to beat the game to fast forward the combat animations

SSG can be rightfully accused of many things, but padding is not one of those
>Nothing in the medium is shockingly groundbreaking
I mean, that's what "kino storylines that defy typical JRPG conventions" sound like to me. Maybe I misunderstood you, in that case I apologize.
I'm not the guy who made the claim, just pointing that out.
SaGa's narrative is pretty different from the usual RPGs though, the stories themselves aren't exactly groundbreaking outside of maybe the very first game and RS2, but the narrative itself is what sets the series apart from a large section of the market.
I don't really consider most jrpgs to be ground breaking persay, I think all SaGa needs to do is continue to have varied creative and imaginative scenarios which it historically has and it already would be kino in my book
>ITT morons think the world evolved around westerners and everything is an attempt at pandering to them
Lmao Kawazu is just doing whatever the frick he wants as usual and there's nothing else to it
that that, white males. jrpgs are not your safe space anymore
;_;
tl note: new means "we all saw this 4 months ago"
Cowboy stripper and hijabi is one of my favorite buddy cop combos.
No matter how hard you shitpost, people are still gonna buy and like this game.
No idea how SaGa has fans tbh.
The hype on /vrpg/ is completely inorganic, like the constant Black Souls threads
What "inorganic hype" you fricking clown, there have been two threads about it since the announcement, the rest is you subhumans shitposting like in this thread, exactly like you do on Ganker.
I agree its usually 1 or 2 people in those threads desperatley trying to keep it alive. Its kind of sad.
RS2 and Saga Frontier are great fricking games.
I'm going to offer my theory about why this gameplay demo was made.

The only good looking is the blonde because she is hot the rest make me want to stay away from the game

i am
all me
>inb4 why is it sealed
I have them in digital format as well, all four + SaGa Frontier.
But I "get" what you're saying, because I say the same about Trails, Neptunia, Atelier, and Kingdom Hearts.
frontier and sg physical where
Oh shit, I hated Scarlet so much, I forgot to mention it. That's the one I could not finish.
I will buy Frontier physical one day.
>hated Scarlet

Totally skip IV:F, it's hot garbage for personagays.
SaGa: Scarlet Grace has the best combat system of all time. I've played at least a thousand RPGs, Western and Eastern.
Good God it looks so fricking slow. Do you really need the camera to whip around from 4 different angles every time something happens?
>trampstamp on the cowgirl stripper
>hijabi with the GUN
>literally my mom's cat
Lol, I would be interested but as pointed out...it doesn't look fun to actually play.
Allegedly the fun is in seeing all the different outcomes to quests (both main and side stories) that have multiple routes per character, maybe even more in this one since the world will now change with every NG+ cycle depending on what you did in previous ones... it HAD to be the FE autist shitting yet another thread
This looks terrible.
I wouldn't say so. Care to elaborate?
It looks much better than Scarlet Grace BUT I always prefer the medieval/renaissance SaGas to the futurist ones

I like swift combat animations and if you can't speed them up it's padding.
I like good posts. Shitposts are just padding.
All my posts are quality. Even the shit.
blonde b***h is hot
the Mec looks kind of lame I hope you can customize it
I wanna put my pee pee in all of them.
Can't wait to play it.
